원유 가격 변동이 한국 거시경제에 미치는 영향 : 석유제품 수출의 역할을 중심으로

본 연구는 석유제품 수출이 유가 충격의 전이 경로에 미치는 영향을 명시적으로 반영하여, 구조적 유가 충격이 한국의 거시경제 변수에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 2000년 2월부터 2024년 7월까지의 월별 데이터를 활용하여 유가 충격을 원유 공급 충격, 총수요 충격, 원유 예비적 수요 충격으로 식별하고, 환율 변화율, 석유제품 수출 증가율, 실질 경제성장률, 인플레이션, 이자율에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 총수요 충격과 원유 예비적 수요 충격은 산업 생산과 물가에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 특히 석유제품 수출이 유가 충격의 파급경로에서 조정 메커니즘으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다.
This study analyzes the impact of structural oil price shocks on Korea’s macroeconomic variables, with a focus on the role of petroleum product exports. Using a structural VAR model based on Kilian (2009) and monthly data from February 2000 to July 2024, we identify oil supply, aggregate demand and oil-specific demand shocks. The results show that demand-side shocks significantly affect industrial production and inflation, while oil supply shocks have limited effects. Petroleum product exports serve as a buffer, underscoring Korea’s dual position as both an oil importer and petroleum exporter.
복무 유형별 군 복무 경험이 청년층의 노동시장 성과에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 청년패널조사(YP2007)를 활용하여 군 복무 경험과 복무 유형이 청년층의 취업 여부 및 시간당 임금에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 군 복무 자체는 취업 확률에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았으나, 장교 복무자는 높은 취업 가능성과 임금 수준을 보였다. 임금 상승효과는 장교, 공군, 해군, 육군 순으로 관측되었다. 이는 복무 환경과 자기개발 기회의 차이를 반영하며, 복무 유형별 맞춤형 복무 및 전역 후 지원 정책이 필요함을 시사한다.
This study analyzes how military service experience and service type affect youth employment status and hourly wages, using the Youth Panel Survey. Military service itself did not significantly impact employment probability, but those who served as officers had higher chances of employment and higher wages. Wage increases were observed in the order of officers, air force, navy, and army. These results reflect differences in service environments and opportunities for self-development, suggesting the need for tailored military programs and differentiated post-service support policies based on service type.
