여성소비자의 정보탐색유형별 화장품 구매성향 연구

The purpose of this study was to investigate the purchasing orientation of consumer groups by each type through the overall information search behaviors of female consumers and their subsequent typification. Through the relationship between information search and purchasing orientation before female consumers' purchase, this study attempted to predict the problems that could take place during their purchase and to grope for their right consumption. The information search behaviors had a very crucial impact on purchase. In terms of the diversity of customers' selection, information search activities were important and it signified that it would be necessary to conduct consumer education for appropriate information search activities so as for female consumers before the purchase to perform right consumption in the future. Not only would cheap price be the right consumption, but also the emotional consumption such as the spiritual satisfaction that was more than necessary and relaxation would be needed to female consumers who lived hectic lives in modern society. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct consumer education that does not simply focus on practical purpose.

Nowadays, we have so many difficulties in our daily life as a consumer, that the demand for consumer counseling which gives assistance with consumer problems has increased rapidly. But there are many problems with our present consumer counselor certification system in many aspects. The purpose of this study is to find out the problems of current consumer counselor certification system and suggest a solution for them. To accomplish that purpose, firstly we point out several defects in the certification system from both side of supply and demand for consumer counselors. Then we suggest some sensible solutions to remedy the defects as follows. First, we need to unify the divided certifications as taking the advantage from each certifications. Second, trying to meet the requirements of society, the qualification for certification have to be improved especially in the field of practical affairs. Third, we need an improved consumer related policy and information system so as to promote the employment of certificated consumer counselors. Forth, it is necessary to inspire public with the importance of consumer counselling.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the system and working process to induce the consumer redress of self-regulation of an enterprise on several foreign countries and to present the plan to strengthen the consumer redress of self-regulation of an enterprise in Korea. Canada has operated a Consumer Complaint Management System of self-regulation of an enterprise. And Japan has operated the Management Standard on self-regulation of an enterprise. I visited the Office of Consumer Affairs of Industry Canada and met Dr Webb in charge of making the Consumer Complaint Management System. I also visited the BBB(Better Business Bureau), the Ministry of Consumer and Business Services on Ontario State Government, and SOCAP(Society of Consumer Affairs Professional). In Japan, I visited the Consumer Policy Division in Quality of Life Policy Bureau, the National Consumer Affairs Center, and the Credit Selling Association. Investigation was enforced by the depths and the focus group interview. Consumer Complaint Management System was introduced in September, 2005 in Korea by the Korean Fair Trade Commission and the Committee of Self-Regulation on Consumer problem. As the result of this study, I suggest several things to invigorate this system. First, this system should be introduced to medium or small enterprises because the quantity of the consumer problem of these enterprise occupied a lot of proportion of total consumer problems. Second, it is desirable for this system to extend other trades such as the trade through the internet. Third, the publicity activity and thorough management of the certification mark which is given as the result of the evaluation of the consumer complaint management system is important. Fourth, It is desirable for the alternative dispute resolution system of self-regulation within the industry to establish in association of the industry.



제7차 교육과정에서의 중학교 소비자교육 내용 분석에 관한 연구

This study investigated the contents of consumer education in textbook of middle school based on the 7th curriculum. The result of the analysis is summed up to as follows. First, the most frequently covered textbooks regarding consumer education in middle school curriculum were ethics, social study, and technical education and household management, including especially, the topics of resource management, environment, and consumer rights and protection. Second, different subjects and textbooks dealt with similar issues, not having unique issues, methods, and technologies relating consumer education. Third, the content of consumer education were more covered in the textbook of technical education and household management, compared to other textbooks. The content of consumer in this textbook was covered only in the 2nd grade so that consumer education is not taught well enough for students to be understood. Fourth, the method of consumer education in this textbook was narrowed down, not having enough experiments, field works, and real consumer life issues. The content of consumer education were not integrated in order to increase the quality of life. Therefore, the content of textbook should be reorganized in order to teach consumer education in a well balanced manner. At the same time, enough class hours must be given for students to be competent consumers in middle school.



소비자학 전공자의 취업선호와 현황 및 진로 방향

The fast change in the society which leads to a change in the job market provides an opportunity to expand professional areas in which the graduates of Consumer Science programs can make positive contributions, as well as can have competitive advantages. The purpose of this study is to identify potential areas of career development for the graduates of Consumer Science programs which satisfy the needs of its inner and outer stakeholders, namely its students and the potential employing party. Suggestions for potential career development for graduates from Consumer Science programs are provided based on the results of three levels of analysis which include: 1) A student survey of the desired professions of current students in Consumer Science, 2) A survey of the placement status of recent graduates of Consumer Science programs and 3) In-depth interviews with graduates of Consumer Science programs in order to gain feedback about Consumer Science as a major.



우리나라 고등학생들의 화폐태도에 관한 연구

This paper closely examined the high school students' money attitude and the primary factors that influence money attitude. The study used factor analysis, cluster analysis, multiple regression analysis, Cronbach' α, correlation analysis, chi-square test, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test for statistical analysis and applied it to 1,591 questionnaires. As a result of the study, high school students were found to have positive money attitude. They value money and money is earned at the cost of efforts, and they think that they are spending money carefully based on their own plans. They hardly see money as power, honor, success or achievement, and they never consider money as a symbol of the evil or the object to be avoided. High school students' money attitude was not homogeneous because it showed difference according to their sex, level of income, the degree of conversations on money management, level of allowance, evaluation on allowance and the places they live.
