본 연구는 기업이 보유하고 있는 개인정보가 유출되어 발생시키는 경제적 손실을 계산하고자 시도하였다. 이를 위해 1) 정보유출로 피해를 본 개인이 수용 가능한 손해 배상액을 계산하였다. 이를 위해 실태조사를 통해 나온 결과를 이용하여 이중양분선택 가상가치측정법을 이용하여 추정하였다. 다음으로 2) 언론 매체에 발표되거나 정보보호진흥원에 신고된 개인정보 유출 피해에 대한 피해 건수를 조사하였다. 이 과정을 통해 개인정보 유출에 대한 경제적 손실액을 계산하면 다음과 같다. 우리나라에서 발생한 개인정보 유출 사건은 2005년도의 경우 총 36건에 피해자는 127만 명에 이르며, 2006년에는 83건의 사건이 발생하여 총 428만 명의 피해자가 발생한 것으로 조사되었다. 이 중에서 50% 이상이 개인 고유정보 유출로 인한 피해이며, 다음이 통신정보, 위치정보, 금융정보의 유출로 피해가 발생하였다. 실태조사에 의한 자료를 이용하여 정보소유자가 기업에게 제공한 개인정보가 유출되어 피해를 본 경우, 대표적 개인의 수용 의사액, 즉 손해 배상금으로 요구 가능한 금액은 피해 건당 756만원으로 추정되었다. 2006년을 기준으로 개인정보 유출 건수를 428만 건으로 볼 때, 개인정보 유출의 잠재적 손실액 규모는 대략 32조원에 이른다. 우리나라는 정보화 속도가 다른 국가에 비해 매우 빨리 진행되고 있으며, 개인정보가 기업의 마케팅 생산성을 향상시키는 필수적인 요소로 자리매김하였다. 또한 정보통신기술의 발달은 위치정보, 바이오정보, 영상정보 등 새로운 형태의 개인정보를 생산하고 있다. 정보화의 진전과 정보통신에 대한 활용이 보편화되면, 인터넷 상에서 개인정보 유출에 따른 경제적 손실은 더욱 커질 전망이다. 기업의 입장에서 보면, 개인정보 유출로 생기는 손실은 기업의 마케팅 생산성을 저하시키는 역할을 한다. 따라서 이러한 손실을 회피하고 기업의 마케팅 생산성을 향상시키기 위해서는 정보보호 투자를 증대시켜야 한다. 즉, 최근 기업의 마케팅 생산성 향상을 위해 도입되고 있는 데이터베이스 마케팅이나 고객 관계 관리 등을 활성화하기 위해서는 개인정보 유출이 합리적으로 방지되어야 한다. 다시 말해, 개인정보의 적극적인 활용은 기업의 마케팅 생산성 향상에 필수적이다. 그러나 특히 인터넷 상에서 정보보안이 미비하여 기업이 보유하고 있는 개인정보가 유출되면 정보유출에 따른 손실이 발생하고, 이는 기업의 마케팅 생산성 제고에 부정적인 요인으로 生産性論集 第22券 第2號 (2008 年 6月) 22작용할 수 있다. 이러한 견지에서 볼 때, 본 연구의 결과는 개인정보 유출에 대한 손실의 크기를 파악할 수 있는 근거로 활용할 수 있을 것이다. 상기와 같이 개인정보 유출의 잠재적 손실가치를 생각한다면, 정보 유출을 사전에 차단할 수 있는 법적, 제도적 정비가 절실히 요구된다.
As Internet services become increasingly ubiquitous, the various types of personal information being handled have diversified into financial, location, and bio-oriented information as well as each individual’s unique identity data. The damage inflicted by leaks of personal information has emerged as an issue of social concern rather than an issue of individuals’ concern. This study used the double-bound dichotomous choice contingent valuation method to assess the scale of damage caused by leaks of personal information by estimating the average amount that respondents might be willing to accept (WTA) to compensate their personal information being leaked. The survey outcome reveals that the respondents are more WTA for the personal information leakage if they have: lower offered compensation amount; more risk the damages caused by financial information leaks; lower quantity of informations to offer; more important the personal information: or lower quantity of information to be infringed. The average amount that the respondents appear WTA of their personal information was estimated to be 7,563 thousand won per accident. This suggests that Internet users suffer quite substantial damages from such leakages.

The Study examined the potential moderating effect of technophobia on relationships between service quality and loyalty using a sample of customers of bank (at Daegu-Kyeungbuk). The paper investigated the importance of antecedents of brand loyalty such as service quality, the dimensions of customer value(emotional value, functional value and social value), and customer satisfaction. The paper hypothesized that service quality and the dimensions of customer value positively influence customer satisfaction(H1, H2). Additionally this paper assumed a positive effect of service quality and customer satisfaction on brand loyalty(H3, H4). Finally this study hypothesized a positive impact of customer value on customer satisfaction. And based on previous research, this paper include technophobia as moderator in our model(H6). A survey using 186 customers of bank was conducted and hierarchical moderated regression analysis approach was used to gain important insights into how customer retention in the banking business can be ensured. Service quality and satisfaction were identified as important antecedents of loyalty. Additionally the moderating role of technophobia was partially supported by the data. Specifically, technophobia moderated the service quality-customer satisfaction, and social value-customer satisfaction relationships.

The purpose of this study is to measure the competitiveness for service firms in Korea. The subjects of this survey for the empirical analysis are limited to the 2nd scale hospitals in Korea: data are collected in Seoul, Incheon and Kyungki areas. The results are as follows. First, the hospitals' service delivery system belongs to the service factory. According to service delivery system types are different in performance measurement system. Second, the hospital of the same service delivery system type is different in financial performance according to performance measurement system. Third, the hospital shows high financial performance in low uncertainty of its environment.

This paper explores the relations of local linkage and organization effectiveness of individual company on innovative network in Dae-deok R&D Special Zone. The results show that local linkage of company, which is composed of district-related variables, supply-related variables, buyer-related variables, company-related variables, university & research institute-related variables, government-related variables, and supporting organizationrelated variables, has positive impact on the organization effectiveness variables, profit, facilities improvement, product quality, domestic Competitiveness, and international Competitiveness. Especially university & research institute-related variables and government-related variables has strong positive relations with the organization effectiveness variables. The findings suggest that individual company's local linkage and active interaction with other innovative actors on innovative network in innovative cluster get higher benefits.

This paper considers the production system where the order goes through n different production phases before the completion of the production. We also assume that there are m such different production lines. We find the optimal flow rates in each production phase in the system. The order arrives at the system with the Poisson distribution rate and each production phase has production rate with exponential times. After the completion of each phase, the work in process will be assigned to one of the next possible phases from previous phase through given transition probability. We transform the system into the Jackson network and find the optimal flow rate to each phase with linear programming technique to minimize the total inter-phase transport costs per unit time.

Recently, online network & internet have become important in our lives. We use internet everyday to find information, shopping or business transaction etc. And especially firms’ utilization of internet is increasing more and more. Currently, there’re two strategies which are being practiced in manufacturing firms. The first one is the e-SCM method which is expected to extend network competitiveness with retailers. The second one is the extension of e-Commerce in which manufacturing companies acquire customers’ information through direct contact. However, it’s difficult for a manufacturing company to get benefits out of these two strategies at same time because each strategy can be regarded as exclusive rather than complementary. For a manufacturing firm, e-SCM is cooperative with retailers, but e-Commerce is not. This mutually exclusive point has resulted in channel conflict. So, many enterprises have been trying to solve these channel problems, but so far the way to solve theses problems is just for the avoidance of channel conflict by minimizing problem rather than by finding fundamental solution. So far, the study of online channel conflict avoidance has been much, but the study for the solution of it has not been enough yet. In this research, the case of S’ electronics company is studied. The firm is expected to demonstrate synergy effects by performing integrated e-SCM which integrates e-Commerce with e-SCM. Hence, the purpose of this researchis to find empirically the impact of integrated e-SCM on retailers’ performance. First, S’ electronics fundamentally removed channel conflict by adopting the integrated e-SCM which combines e-Commerce with e-SCM. Second, as a result, the retailers of S’electronics company are expected to perform well in the financial aspects such as profitability, productivity as well as in the non-financial aspects such as reduction of decision time, retailers' competitiveness for e-Commerce. Therefore, a set of hypothesis that retailers' performances are influenced by the integrated e-SCM are made, and customer satisfactions are also increased. Finally, in concluding section of this research, a few cases of retailers’ experiences will be illustrated in terms of financial as well as non-financial perspective. The result of this study will suggest that, at the era of internet, the importance of retailers will not be reduced. Rather the cooperation between manufacturing firms and retailers will be needed more than ever.

This paper assesses the industrial economic impacts of event host in Korea. An input-output model is used to estimate the economic inducement effects of an inaugural general assembly of the world toilet association in terms of output, value-added, and employment. The total expenditures are estimated to be about 4,575 million won. These receipts generate 9,353 million won of output, 2,650 million won of value-added, and 172 persons of employment as a result of their economic inducement effects. Such calculations allow the decision makers to estimate the opportunity costs of their decisions and can be regarded as the basis for an extended cost-benefit analysis. It concludes that there are considerable economic benefits for the event host country, although such benefits are not spreaded broadly across all industries.

The purpose of this study is to show that 1)the tourist motivation consist of factors of variables, 2)the central backbone of motivation, and 3)the segmentation of korean tourists. This research was conducted through two studies: a literature review to guide the conceptual development of the tourist motivation/segmentation and a survey for empirical exploration of the ideas. The empirical data are extracted through convenience, and the valid questionnaires being recollected totaled to 1092. The Frequency, Descriptive, Factor, Cluster, Discriminant, Cross-tabulation analysis were used for the data analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1)the korean tourism motivation is consisted of 12 factors. 2)the key elements play a major role, central backbone, in tourism motivation. 3)the tourism market was divided into 3 different groups. Theoretical and practical implications of these results were discussed in the empirical test. The results of this study will not only contributes to a better understanding of korean tourism due to clarification/segmentation of korean tourist motivations but also have implication for the development and management of tourism marketing strategy.

The purpose of this study is firstly to examine that in franchise system which is mutual trust relationship system between organization and members, whether the quality of Leader(franchisor)-Follower(franchisee) exchange(LMX: Leader-Member Exchange) has the effect of mediator between a leader's support, conflict and satisfaction. Secondly, our purpose is to examine the effect relationship and leadership between the result variables of the quality of LMX such as satisfaction, boundary spanning behaviors and re-contract intention. Thirdly, we want to verify social influence relationship about the way of leadership between organization and members through general verification relationship from marketing productivity view as a competitiveness of organization so that we could examine the productivity of organization for franchise system. For this, we set up hypothesis based on the antecedent studies and we select the franchise system as the subject of empirical analysis. The franchise system we research on is the owner of franchisees(n=500) of 11 franchisor which has more than 50 franchisees. The result of the structural equation modeling analysis is that the quality of LMX affecting the productivity of franchises system has the effect of mediator between a leader's support, conflict, satisfaction and boundary spanning behaviors. And we found that as a result variable, the satisfaction has the positive(+) effect on boundary spanning behaviors and re-contract intention and boundary spanning behaviors has the positive(+) effect on re-contract intention through the satisfaction. We found that the quality of LMX between organization and members is improved by role making theory and social exchange theory and with the high quality of relationship between franchisor and franchisee, we can expect the result of marketing productivity such as trust and satisfaction, unification and loyalty and boundary spanning behaviors.
DEA 효율성 및 Malmquist 생산성 분석시스템 개발

Non-parametric frontier method such as DEA(data envelopment analysis) and Malmquist productivity index are used to measure efficiency and productivity of any organization that uses multiple inputs and generates multiple outputs. This study aims to develop an analysis system for DEA efficiency and Malmquist productivity index. Analysis system was developed in this study is EnPAS(Efficiency and Productivity Analysis System). The DEA analysis engine, developed in this system, supports both the CCR and the BCC model as well as the input-oriented and output-oriented model. Technical efficiency, pure technical efficiency, and scale efficiency are provided as a result. Also, Malmquist analysis engine, developed in this system, supports both the input-oriented and output-oriented model. It provides five types of index such as technical efficiency change index, technical change index, pure efficiency change index, scale efficiency change index, and malmquist productivity index.
Formation and Operation of Collective Efficacy : A Key to Group Productivity

The increasing emphasis on work groups in organizations has led researchers to explore the nature and functions of a key variable to group productivity - collective efficacy. Given the importance of work groups in today’s organizations, research on the collective efficacy formation mechanism and the boundary conditions of collective efficacy formation and operation seems warranted. The author attempts to provide a conceptual framework regarding: (a) the determinants of collective efficacy, (b) the mediating role of interpersonal group trust in relationships between collective efficacy and its antecedents, (c) the moderating role of collectivism/individualism in collective efficacy formation, (d) the relationship between collective efficacy and group productivity, and (e) the moderating role of task interdependence in the relationship between collective efficacy and group productivity. Theoretical and practical implications of the work are then discussed.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of human capital investment on productivity wage gap. Furthermore, it tries to estimate the gender productivity wage gap based upon three different ways of estimating wage equations. According to the empirical results, human capital variables increase in individual's wage resulted from increased labor productivity. Moreover, the empirical results also implies that the large portion of the gender wage gap is due to the productivity difference between men and women. In order to get rid of the gender productivity wage gap, the equal opportunities to invest in human capital should be given to men and women at the same time.

Data Envelopment Analysis is employed to estimate the efficiency for the Korean hotel industry. The efficiency is decomposed into the technical, pure technical, and scale efficiency. In addition, super efficiency is used to differentiate the performance of the efficient hotels. We used number of employees, total assets, cost of goods sold, sales and administrative expense as inputs, and revenue as output. The result indicates that 8 DMUs of 35 hotels are efficient. Of the 29 inefficient hotels, most of the inefficient hotels are operating under conditions of increasing return to scale. In order to attain greater efficiency, increasing in inputs is recommended for DMUs under IRS. The result of super efficiency shows that DMU 6 is the highest ranked one of all the efficient hotels.

We included five societies such as IJSIM(International Journal of Service Industry Management), JSM(Journal of Services Marketing), JSR(Journal of Service Research), JOM(Journal of Operations Management) and POM(Production and Operations Management) for service field. We classified 708 research papers published from 2004 to 2007 completely. Meanwhile, we also included five societies such as IJPDLM(International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management), JSCM(Journal of Supply Chain Management), SCM(Supply Chain Management: An International Journal), JOM(Journal of Operations Management) and POM(Production and Operations Management) and classified 755 research papers published from 2004 to 2007. We used research method, analysis technique, research subject and research content as classification standards.
