IT 산업의 성장과 전략산업의 구축방안 - I-O 분석을 중심으로 -

본 논문의 목적은 IT산업의 성장을 분석하고, IT산업의 21세기 새로운 국가전략산업의 방안을 마련하는 데 있다. 연구방법은 문헌적 조사방법과 I-O (Input-Output)분석방법, 그리고 실증적 실태조사방법을 병행하여 실시하였다. 연구내용으로는 (1) IT산업의 이론적 고찰 (2) 한국 IT산업의 성장과 그 동향분석을 위하여 IT산업의 비중과 성장분석을 하였다. 특히 IT산업의 I-O 분석은 성장률분석, 성장기여율분석, 생산유발계수, 수입유발계수, 중간투입재 비율등을 분석하였다. 그리고 (3) IT산업 성장의 문제점과 전략산업구축과제를 제시하고 21세기 IT산업의 신전략산업 구축방안을 제시하였다. 결론으로 21세기 IT산업의 신전략산업 구축방안은 IT산업진흥종합관리법의 제정과 IT산업 전문인력수급체계확립의 필요성을 제시하였다. 또한 IT산업의 경쟁시스템의 도입과 IT산업단지 조성계획, 그리고 IT산업의 전략적 구축을 위한 `21세기 IT산업국가전략산업위원회` 구성도 필요함을 강조하고 있다.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze growth of IT industry, and to prepare device of 21st century new national strategic industry of IT industry. Literature studying method and I-O(Input-Output) analysis method, and demonstrative realities investigation method were performed together as studying method. Contents of study are (1) theoretical examination of IT industry (2) analysis of importance and growth of IT industry for analysis of growth and its tendency of Korea IT industry. Particularly, related with I-O analysis of IT industry, growth ratio analysis, growth contribution ratio analysis, production induction coefficient, import induction coefficient, intermediate projection material ratio etc were analyzed. And (3) problem of growth and strategic industry construction subject of IT industry is suggested, and construction device of new strategic industry of 21st century IT industry is suggested. Conclusively, regarding new strategic industry construction device of 21st century IT industry, the necessity of enactment of IT industry promotion general management law and establishment of professional manpower supply & demand system is suggested. Moreover, necessity regarding introduction of competitive system of IT industry and IT industry complex formation plan, and organization of "21st century IT industry national strategic industrial committee" for strategic construction of IT industry is also emphasized.

As world economic scheme is rapidly transforming from industry-oriented to knowledge and information-oriented, optimization of demand and supply of man power is recognized as the most important issue in industry sector. In connection with continuous industrial restructure policies, the imbalance of manpower structure in the Small and Medium Business(SMB) sector is deepening annually. This study aims to suggest the policy directions to solve and harmonize issues of shortage of manpower in SMB and the high unemployment rate of 4%. In that sense, this study focused on the counter-measures to maintain equilibrium between supply and demand of manpower in SMB. in consideration of industrial classification and business scale, generation gap. In manufacturing industry and new industry such as information technology, the supply of manpower is short owing to the change of individual preference and demand structure of manpower. As generation of thirties and forties have great portions in employment, chronic unemployment is expected in connection with unemployment of baby-boom generation. To solve these issues, the basic policy directions are as follows : 1. To promote continuous investigation and to provide timely information on the status of manpower. 2. To increase the demand of manpower through inauguration of SMB. 3. To assist to supply and develop manpower resources through education programmes. 4. To improve the working environments and to enhance the welfare of the working class. In conclusion, it is necessary to study and develop the optimal management systems of manpower, based on the industry and generation classifications. The study on manpower should be considered in relation with economic and social issues.

JIT 생산방식이 제조간접비 개선에 미치는 영향

This study portrays how JIT as an executional cost driver influences the improvement of manufacturing overhead cost. It examines the interaction of executional cost drivers such as FMS and JIT and the influences on the improvement of manufacturing overhead cost and it investigates how the implementation of executional cost drivers can alleviate, the increase in manufacturing overhead cost caused by structural cost drivers such as product variety. The results of this study are as follows: First, JIT positively effects the improvement of manufacturing overhead cost. Second, if the executional level of FMS was high, then the positive effects on the relationship between JIT and the improvement of manufacturing overhead cost appeared to be greater than when the executional level of FMS was low. Third, if the executional level of JIT was high, then the negative effects on the relationship between product variety and the improvement of manufacturing overhead cost appeared to be lesser. thus exemplifying the moderation variable effect of JIT. JIT played a role in moderating the improvement of logistics costs, but did not moderate the improvement of set-up and quality cost.

자사주매입의 정보효과와 주주생산성의 관계

This study examined the information effect of open market stock repurchase program on stock price in Korean Stock Exchange. The sample period is from 1996 to 2000. The result confirms that the information effect exists and is positive in KSE like NYSE. The anomalous phenomenon is found that even after stock repurchase announcement, the abnormal returns still exist for the long time. This means that the repurcase announcement informs the market of the underpricing of current stock and the stock repurchase program is used as a tool to increase the stock price. Such being the case, the cause of information effect of stock repurchase was explored. Our study shows that the firms with the high level of cash flows, the high portion of large shreholders and the high target repurchase ratios have the higher repurchase effect but the ex-ante profit forecastes have no effect on the stock repurchase program. Finally this study finds that the repurchase program is used to control the underpriced stock price, and also the wealth of shareholders is enlarged by the productivity of shareholders through the repurchase program.

It is believed that using information technology is the best way to survive under the current business environment of small and medium-sized enterprises. The importance of using information technology is also emphasized in order for them to be successful and competitive companies in the world. Many small and medium-sized enterprises still have difficulties in using or building an efficient computerized information technology system. This study discusses the difficulties such as funds, technology, and human resources. Based on the discussions, it tries to analyze the relationships between the difficulties and organizations` characteristics or performances. It is believed that using information technology is the best way to survive under the current business environment of small and medium-sized enterprises. The importance of using information technology is also emphasized in order for them to be successful and competitive companies in the world. Many small and medium-sized enterprises still have difficulties in using or building an efficient computerized information technology system. 중소기업유성정책에 관한 연구

Since 1960, Korean economy has been established high degree of economic growth under the planned economic system by emphasis on government policy. However, competiveness of small and medium size business has been weakend relatively compared with the large size business. Nevertheless, the weights of employment ratio, value of products, value added and value of exports increased higher than the large size business from 1980 to 1997. Government should intensify the international competiveness and equilibrium development of large size business and small and medium size business through the intensive support and breeding policy. This study aims to suggest the policy alternatives and development directions of small and medium size business(SMB). This study focussed on the definition and characteristics, national economic role and weights, problems and breeding alternatives in SMB. To solve this study aims, the breeding policy alternatives are as follows : 1. To promote continuous knowledge intensification in SMB by efficient allocation of management resources. 2. To increase the professional manpower through the flexibility of labor market and development of demand oriented manpower. 3. To improve the financial structure and to enhance the long term capital investment in SMB. In conclusion, it is necessary to improve the efficient management and put emphasis on the customer oriented product innovation and quality improvement through the SMB own efforts.

ERP 시스템의 도입실태 분석

This study analysed the status of ERP implementation of the 57 firms in connection with the strategy of ERP. The most important motivation in considering ERP introduction was to replace the existing system by the superior system, and the firms over 60% reviewed the validity of ERP through the formal estimation method. The most firms replied that the expected life of ERP system is 5 to 7 years and about 60% of firms thought that the expected revenue rate of ERP investment was 5 to 25%. The mean amount of ERP investment was 1.087% of the sales and the firms over 90% invested under 2%. When constructing ERP, the large firms preferred the foreign ERP, while the small and Medium firms wanted the Korean ERP products. The 40.4 percentage of firms took 7 to 12 months to build ERP. The firms over 50% constructed ERP and BPR at the same time, and paid the large amount for customizing than were expected. Many firms selected the bigbang method for ERP module and a blanket construction form for the organization. The cost of ERP system was paid in the order of software, consulting, hardware. In the stage of ERP expansion, the business information warehouse occupied the highest rate to be connected with ERP. The approximately 90 percent of firms had already built or were building EC, or wanted to be linked with ERP. Finally, the ERP benefit was reported most highly in information usefulness, and then in union of business process. The degree of overall satisfaction when using ERP system was over 60 percent.

This paper presents the integrated management system of QMS(quality management system) and EMS(environment management system). The system was developed from the empirical study of medium business sites for more then 5 years. To develop the system, we the analyzed theoretical backgrounds and the real world requirements of QMS and EMS. The proposed system can reduce the labor and other costs for controling the management process and the after service overload. In order to demonstrate the efficiency of proposed system, we present the case study of S Company.

This paper studies to find a measure to advance into the Chinese`s construction markets of Korean`s overseas construction firms. China will become legally a member of WTO as of 11th December, 2001. China, one of the fastest growing economies in the world, has made tremendous progress in the last decade thanks to an economic system open to trade and foreign investment. Now this economy will be subjected to the rules-based system of the WTO. something which is bound to enhance global economic cooperation. And China is scheduled to hold the Beijing 2008 olympic games. The special construction demands will be made in the field of every athletic meetings, olympic village, transportation in relation to olympic games. Now, Korean construction market is in slump under IMF program since 1997. The investments of construction field is decreasing in residental and non-residental construction. Therefore, Korea, which is the nearest country, is in a better position to entry the Chinese` markets. From the above viewpoints, this paper is to study the Chinese`s construction prospects and the investment strategy to advance into the Chinese`s construction markets.

To design the strategies for developing global competitive advantages, organizing competitive intelligence should be preceded. Porter has developed the generic strategies for creating and sustaining competitive advantage. Theories of competitive advantages generally have enumerate value activities, superior skills or technology, and superior resources as the sources of competitive advantages. Various types of strategies have been developed in connection with these sources of competitive advantages. Geographical positioning is also a competitive advantage. For well-positioned companies by developing competitive advantages, shakeouts are opportunities to gain market power. Successful global competitors develop an integrated and innovative global strategy that makes it very difficult and costly for other companies to compete. Transnationals integrate assets, resources, and diverse people in operating units around the world, Through a flexible management process, transnational companies can build strategic capabilities. Strategies in this paper are a kind of examples. In developing strategies for competitive advantage, companies should consider their conditions as like their market positions and resources, For Korean companies, the collaborating or strategic alliance, resource leveraging and innovation strategy would be more adequate than other strategies. In developing global strategy, the company should treat the domestic market the same as the foreign market.

직무몰입, 조직시민행동에 대한 성과지향적 보상체계의 효과 : 영업직을 중심으로

본 연구는 성과-보상의 연계성으로 유발된 직무동기가 직무몰입 및 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향에 대하여 증권회사의 영업직을 대상으로 실증 분석하였다. 성과-보상의 연계성은 성과-승진의 연계성, 성과-급여의 연계성 그리고 성과-평가의 연계성의 하위개념으로 구분하여 고찰하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구변수들에 대한 상관관계 분석결과, 성과-급여의 연계성과 성과-평가의 연계성은 정의 상관성을 나타내고 있다. 또한 성과-급여의 연계성은 직무동기, 직무몰입, 의사소통 및 이타성 변수 등과 모두 정의 상관성을 보이고 있었다. 한편 성과-평가의 연계성은 직무동기 및 의사소통과 정의 상관성을 나타내고 있음을 확인할 수 있다. 직무동기는 직무몰입, 의사소통 및 이타성과 모두 정의 상관성을 나타내고 있다. 둘째, 자신의 업무영역이 분명하고 업무 성과에 대한 측정이 가능한 영업직 구성원의 경우에는 성과-급여 및 성과-평가의 연계성을 높이는 제도를 도입하는 경우 직무동기가 높아진다는 것이다. 영업직 구성원은 성과-승진의 연계성을 통하여 동기부여되지 않으며, 또한 승진과 급여를 별개로 인식하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 성과지향적 보상체계를 설계하는 인사관리자들은 성과-평가의 연계성을 제고할 수 있는 방안을 찾아야 할 것이다. 본 연구 결과는 성과와 급여의 연계에 집중되어 왔던 기존의 관점에서 성과와 평가의 연계성에 대한 관점으로 확대 또는 전환되어야 할 필요성을 시사하고 있다.

This research investigated the relationship of reward for performance, work motivation, job involvement, and organizational citizenship behaviors. With 251 employees in stock brokerage, it was found that (1) pay for performance and evaluation for performance were related positively to employees` work motivation while promotion for performance was not, (2) work motivation showed positive relationship with job involvement and organizational citizenship behaviors such as communication and altruism. thus, (3) reward for performance encouraged in-role and extra-role behaviors at the same time. Some implications of these results were discussed.

여성경제인의 납세의식에 관한 연구

The objective of this study is to examine the consciousness level of women entrepreneurs in tax payment on which the importance has not been made before in line with recent trends of increasing economic activities of women entrepreneurs. For this purpose theoretical and empirical methods are adopted. In empirical study has been implemented mainly based on the survey and simulation. For example, the consciousness level of tax payment of women entrepreneurs was shown as negative in thoes who are younger, unmarried or highly educated. But most of them were reported that they regarded tax evasion as illegal action (57%) and declared their revenue with tax authorities in right way and to the extent (60%). In conclusion, their consciousness of tax payment is generally positive.

해외 쇼핑몰 이용자의 구매만족에 관한 연구

The number of internet electronic commerce users has increased steadily and EC is now considered not only as the communication tools, but also as the economic activity. But in spite of these global trends, current studies limited to managerial approach are insufficient in the evaluation of EC policies and situations. The purpose of this study are to present satisfaction of customers who will operate foreign internet shopping mall. and to analysis after-purchase behavior on EC satisfaction As a result of making regression analysis, for its satisfaction, the hypotheses on "Shopping Mall Contents", "Information supply", "Convenience of order process", "Economy", "The reliability", "Customer Service were accepted at the p<.0.05 level of significance. for its after purchase behavior, the hypotheses on "Shopping Mall structure", "Convenience of order process", "Economy", "The reliability", etc factors were accepted at the p<0.05 level of significant in 4 factors. In order words, electronic commerce satisfaction became greater when better convenience and economy were provided, the ethics were observed better, more diverse information was supplied and better system support was given. and those who had a higher educational background or better perception of electronic commerce felt more satisfaction, Finally, more usefulness of electronic commerce led to bigger satisfaction after purchase.

주요 항공사 이미지 속성 분석에 관한 실증적 연구

The international airline industry has a phenomenal growth since the Airline Deregulation Act was enacted in 1978. In recent years, Korea`s national flag carriers are facing steep challenges to survive in the ever-growing competition. Airlines image is an important element when passengers choose airlines. Despite the importance of image development as a competitive strategy tool, there are not many studies in this field. This study has three objectives. First, it aims to develop for airline images a measurement scale, and to assess the relative importance of image attributes. Second, it analyzes the image of seven airlines that fly to Korea. Third, it develops competitive strategies for Korea`s national flag carriers. For the empirical research, the survey data were collected from 700 passengers: 600 passengers who were on board Korean Air and Asiana Airlines and 100 from people who have flown seven major airlines: Korean Air, Asians Airlines, Japan Airline, United Airline, Cathay Pacific Airways, Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines. Out of 700 samples, 377 were used for statistical analysis. Results of this study are summarized as follows: First, safety was the most significant attribute which influences on airlines image and airlines decision-making. On-time operation was the second most important attribute, but passengers were very unsatisfied with the actual performance. Passengers who had the membership with airlines considered importantly the `system-related service` factors such as frequent flyer program, mileage service, efficient reservation system, and quick check-in procedure. Second, according to the results of comparative analysis of airlines, passengers assessed that the Korean Air has a strong image in convenient schedule and frequent flyer program. For the Asiana Airlines, passengers evaluated that the airline`s image was found on quality of cabin service, safety, quality in-flight meal, low fares, and on-time operation. For the foreign airlines, passengers expressed that each airline has distinctive image. Third, the results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the airline with favorable image revealed strong future intention to take the airline. In other words, passengers will be likely to choose the airline if he/she has a more positive image. Fourth, it was found that the overall image of an airline was influenced by basic service factor. In the case of Singapore Airline, it is considered that additional service factor is reflect future intention to choose Singapore Airline. Future research on airline`s image need to enlarge to more airlines. Thus, it is expected to help to set up competitive strategies for Korea`s national flag carrier.
