Recently, Hotels are faced with competitions form other highly upgraded calering business and the increased lobor costs. As one of the methods to solve these difficalties. Stratgic supply could be considered for a hotel business.Actually, SCM(Supply Chain Management) is a theory of a general administion. In recent, a lots of companies over the world have implemented SCM in their supply management and have been succed. Thus, this study is to consider about the possibility if SCM could be used in the hotel business. The survey is enhanced with the staffs who is charge of the purchasing of 60 hotels and analyzed by SPSS 10.0 and AMOS 4.0. This study is only concerned to material supply. But, in the hotel work, it could be also important for service supplies such as order information processing.

The Korean ICT industry is evolving at a dramatic speed, increasing its importance in the overall economy and producing numerous externalities on the other industries. The purpose of this research is to investigate the productivity growth of Korean ICT industry and its effects on the other industries and to derive policy implications. For this purpose we perform inter-industry analysis. Inter-industry analysis is conducted to investigate how close co-relationship exist between ICT industry and other industries and to see how much ICT industry affects other industries. Our estimates of the productivity growth in the industry and its contribution to the overall korean Economy suggest the direct contribution of the ICT industry is significant, but its spillovers to the other industries are not so impressive. This implies that the link between ICT industry and other industries is weak and that most of the ICT products are used as final products and not as intermediate goods. We also find the high extent of import penetration in Korean ICT industry to be one of its major problems.

The augmentation of WTO and its strategies toward borderless competition created the so rapidly changing business environment. Moreover, the rapid growth in the internet technologies and e-business made the mose of all the leading multinational enterprises work on the internet-based management, from the research and development, procurement, production, marketing, sales, upto the consumption and customer relation management. All these activities related the work or business function flow of the global enterprises are called the global supply chain management (Global SCM). This paper is aimed that the strategic motivation to incorporate the global SCM into the multinational enterprises should be clarified in terms of their competitive as well as co-operative functions. In order to emphasize these functions, the paper analyzes the case studies of leading PC makers such as Dell and HP. The paper concludes that the global SCM could promote much higher productivity through the copetitive, which means to be competitive as well as co-operative, process of global SCM than the single company does. This copetitive productivities should be more emphasized via the market-oriented bench-marking studies.

The purpose of this study is to provide a strategic suggestion for SCM implementation in the Korean PC industry, with the premise that factors of SCM will influence on the logistics performances. In order to accomplish the purpose of this study, both studies of related literature and an empirical investigation have been reviewed. A questionnaire to verify three hypotheses based on research model is made, and t-test, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis is conducted to test these hypotheses.The findings of this study are summarized as follows : First, variables of SCM are statistically different between PC manufacturers and parts supplier except few variables(eg. business goal, cooperative operation system, integration between functions, cross-functional organization, etc.). Second, in case of suppliers, customer service is improved by factor of integration of partnership, logistics cost is reduced by factor of reliability for control-effectiveness. On the other side, in case of manufacturers, customer service is improved by factor of receptiveness for strengthen SCM functions and logistics cost is reduced by factor of opening for participation in SCM network.

As the law of Product Liability is being operated from on this 1st July, 2002 so its effects is of the significant matters to the manufacturing companies. The manufacturing defects which is belong to the defects articles of Product Liability is directly related with the facility parts in the production elements. The Total Productive Maintenance(TPM) which is the management strategy to maximize the facility productivity with focus on breakdown-zero, non conformance-zero, disaster-zero may be expected in its great effects if it is performed being related with the Product Liability. From this point of view this paper deals with the Product Liability Prevention(PLP) for solving the quality defect problem of the manufacturing facility basically having the purpose for understanding and the advancement of facility productivity regarding Product Liability with analyzing the fundamental TPM system, which make the manufacturing company well cope with Product Liability.

The burst of e-business expectation could not end the rapidly changing trend. Rather, it created more diverse utilization of e-business, instead of e-commerce. It is true, especially for the small and medium enterprises(SMEs) that there are tremendous benefits and advantages to promote e-business for the R&D and procurement, production, transportation, payment, even for the accounting and labor management etc. Due to the fact, the Korean government has initiated many activities to support the information of SMEs without much success. The reason for this failure comes from the fact that the SMEs have few experts as well as less experiences and lack of incentives to do e-business. Therefore, the study emphasizes the importance of Meta-mediary to facilitate, cooperate and provide more market-oriented and profit-oriented solution for the success of e-business. This study shows the four of these paradigm of meta-mediary to promote the productivity of e-business in SMEs:collaborator, facilitator, web-service provider, and a harmonizer between government policies and business strategies.
