In the wake of 21C's internet boom, the emergence of the internet-based e-Business has radically changed the patterns of competition among companies. The companies, which adopted the e-Business, could create new business opportunities. Also, they have provided their customers with better services through facilitating the interaction between the customers and vendors(product suppliers) and eventually could gain competitive advantage over rival companies. Therefore, adopting and investing in the E-Business is not the matter of their choice but the necessary strategies for their competitiveness and survival. With theoretical and empirical study on e-Business this study found the main success factors, which promote e-Business. Also, this paper builds and suggests a model about success factors at each level of e-Business' progress, especially targeting Mongolian companies. This study is expected to be a reference to those Mogolian companies which want to establish managerial or practical strategies to adopt and practice e-Buisiness.

The purposes of this study are to find a validity of authentication index between venture company and innovative SMEs and to confirm the accuracy of authentication procedure and related authentication index. For this purpose, discriminant analysis is used to determine which variables discriminate between venture company and innovative SMEs. The results show that common factors of each SMEs have the representatives of characteristic of venture and Inno-biz, but almost other factors don't distinguish the discrepancy between venture and Inno-biz. That is, the existing process to certify venture and Inno-biz is not effective for selecting each SMEs with sufficient innovation capability. So these authentication index should be reset and integrated to highlight the effectiveness and efficiency of authentication index between venture company and innovative SMEs. Our findings indicates that the concept of venture and Inno-biz SMEs should be clarify to differentiate the effectiveness of government’s small business corporation policy, which suggests that authentication index between venture company and innovative SMEs should be adjusted on the basis of more careful selection and focus perspectives.

In response to the global economic crisis spread by the financial crisis of the U.S., many countries have taken macroeconomic policies such as a large scale of liquidity increases and many fiscal steps to stimulate the economy. Even though such policies should be necessary and to some degree effective, recent European sovereign debt crisis might lead world economy to be in the double deep recession. In addition to these macroeconomic policies to overcome economic crisis, we need strengthening competitiveness by productivity improvement. In fact we have been making the productivity improvement through technology innovation and management reform. Nonetheless we need system innovation in eco-systems of business to improve productivity in new level. So I propose eco-system productivity as a new concept of productivity, and eco-system as a new source of productivity. The new eco-system productivity that I propose includes three components; productivity in clustering and networking, productivity in joint business and cooperative union, and productivity in win-win cooperation between large enterprises and SMEs.

신용등급이 기업의 생산성에 미치는 효과 분석

Many studies highlight the positive effect of corporate credit rating changes on firm performance, but the evidence on the productivity effect of the credit rating changes is very limited. This paper empirically examines effects of credit rating changes on labor productivity over the period 2001-2009 for Korean listed and non-listed manufacturing firms. The paper employs the two way random effect model of labor productivity and controls for simultaneity using lagged variables. Our key findings are as follows. First, our empirical findings show that the higher credit rating is positively associated with an increase in labor productivity during the sample period. This suggests that the higher credit rating for a firm can have more capital availability in Korea. Second, the productivity effect of the credit rating changes for the SMEs can be realized through an increase in capital, not in R&D investment. This implies that the higher credit rating indicates the lower risk of the corporate defaulting on the loan which causes the SMEs to lower borrowing cost and thus to induce capital investment, but not enough to expand R&D investment.

This study aims to propose the theoretical background of the human-centered productivity and its practical management model. The philosophy of the human-centered productivity seeks for autonomy, fairness as a way to respect the autonomy, and happiness as the ultimate goal. In this study, autonomy is a source of creativity while creativity and innovation are a driving force of productivity. This study also proposes various empirical results that show the happier employees would generate the more enhanced creativity and productivity. This study proposed Stafford Beer's Viable System Model as a reference model to practice the human-centered productivity. Measures for management models are presented such as autonomous MBO(Management by Objective) system, minimum control system, creative innovation system, and participative policy-making system. Employees will achieve the higher level of creativity and productivity for happiness, and their desire to organizational objective will be linked productivity level by getting rid of command-based hierarchical structure and implementing viability-based view point with participation and communication.

We propose a mobile service evolution framework which is composed of 2 factors-the degree of smartization and the outer-dependency of profit. It is a framework that presents 2 x 2 matrix : 4 cells. We decided to apply this framework to weather application on smartphone. And so we made typical profiles for weather application on smartpone, and executed an experiment to test the degree of adoption of mobile service subscribers for the typical profiles of weather application. First, we found that the advertisements tailored by LBS/weather condition would be more effective and efficient than those of the usual banner advertisements in the aspect of CTR. Second, mobile service subscribers were reluctant to buy the goods or services tailored by LBS/weather condition on smartphone, because they did not feel confident to the security system and mobile pay system provide by smartphone. Third, the advertisements both tailored by LBS/weather condition and combined by SNS had lower barrier than the advertisements tailored only by LBS/weather condition to lead to the recommendation and group shopping. We thought that mobile service subscribers would want to share goods or services information with their friends for risk reduction against shopping failure. Fourth, mobile service subscribers had the most adoption rate for the gift-coupon-typed e-commerce service tailored by LBS/weather condition. We thought that they had the tendency to deliver their missing minds to their acquaintances through the gift coupons on smartphone. We thought that they had the tendency to deliver the gift coupons on smartphone their acquaintances in the place of their missing minds toward them.

It becomes a important marketing tasks to build and maintain customer-company relationships through relationship marketing. In these flows, Interest and Importance about brand community is increasing as a primary means of building relationships with customers. This study defined brand community productivity by applying marketing productivity that represents the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing activity to the brand community. It includes brand loyalty and community loyalty . This study also tried to show that identification's impact on the brand community productivity. Empirical studies have confirmed that high brand identification and high community identification group have a high brand community productivity. In conclusion, It is presented that build and maintain brand community is a primary measure to enhance marketing productivity.

This study examined the effect of communication and collaboration on strategic integration between human resource management and service operations department in service industry. We also investigated the relationships between interdepartmental integration, job attitude, and business performance using 126 samples in service industry. Structural equation modeling shows that close communication and high cooperation between the human resource management and service operations departments result in better job attitude and higher sales. As a result, we identified the mediating role of job attitude between interdepartmental integration and business performance. However, interdepartmental integration has indirect effect of business performance.

We measure and evaluate the service quality of auto repair service. Service is measured by stages of service process. We compare service process qualities of two competing firms using this measure. We investigate relationships among the service quality of auto repair center, customer loyalty toward auto maintenance center, and repurchase of automobile. We conducted an online survey and collected a sample of size 3,028.

The purpose of this study is to examine the realities around workplace innovations and to find policy goals needed to raise firms' productivity, throughout examining the distribution of work organizations in the Korean manufacturing firms. Based on the classification method in the previous studies, work organizations in manufacturing firms are classified as one of three types(and seven types in detail), non-systemic, Taylorist(Tayloristic, hybrid Tayloristic, and work organizations with a low functional flexibility) and high- performance work organization(Lean, hybrid Lean, and discretionary learning work organization). Two hundred manufacturing firms hiring 100 or more employees in 2009 are the samples of the survey done in 2009. The results show that the portion of firms with a non-systemic work organizations is 16.5% of the sample firms and the portion of firms with high-performance work organizations is 19% of the total firms, while 64.5% of the samples are firms with Taylorist work organizations. It means that almost 2/3 of the Korean manufacturing firms belong to Taylorist work organizations and the level of work organizations in the Korean firms should be developed to high-performance work organizations. The European data equivalent to the realities in Korea imply that the portion of firms with Taylorist work organizations in Europe 15 countries is only 13.6%. The results show that the Korean manufacturing firms should move from non-systemic or Taylorist work organizations to high-performance work organizations and policy regarding workplace innovations should support fully the transformations of work organizations.
