헬리콥터부모역할이 대학생자녀의 출산의향과 희망자녀수에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of perceived helicopter parenting on intention of childbirth and desired number of children among 400 unmarried undergraduate students enrolled in universities located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The respondents were requested to complete the self-administered questionnaire, and the structural equation modeling was conducted for testing the hypothetical pathways, using AMOS 7.0. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the students reported moderate levels of helicopter parenting. 90.5% of student respondents intended to have children in their future. The mean desired number of children was 2.09. Second, structural equation modeling revealed that the students' age and number of siblings were negatively related to levels of perceived helicopter parenting. This study also found that students' perceived helicopter parenting was negatively related to their desired number of children, while not significantly related to their intention of childbirth in the future. The implications of the study results are discussed.

The Purpose of this study shows us the relationships of empathy, self efficacy and altruistic behavior in the middle school students. Also, the study verify if the self efficacy at the relationship between empathy and altruistic behavior would be the mediating variables. The study finds out the relationships and mediation factors with correlation analysis and structural equation model. The major results are as follows: First, the study shows the positive correlation for the result of analyzing correlation with empathy, which is cognitive and emotional empathy, and self efficacy. Second, it displays the positive correlation for the result of analyzing correlation with self efficacy and altruistic behaviors. Third, the study also shows the positive correlation for the result of analyzing correlation with empathy, cognitive empathy, emotional empathy and altruistic behavior. Fourth, the study verifies the mediation model of self efficacy on the relationship with empathy and altruistic behavior. Also, it demonstrates the mediation model that empathy affects on the self efficacy to altruistic behaviors. Finally, the study suggests those clinical implications and several limitations for this study which helps further studies.

대학생의 학년 및 전공별 학습역량 차이 분석

This study was conducted to investigate the learning competencies of university students according to school year and academic discipline. Learning Competence Test-Cognition, learning Motivation, learning Behavior(LCT-CMB) for college students (Lee et al., 2011) was used for this study. The test was classified with three sub-areas such as cognition, learning motivation and learning behavior. A questionnaire was answered by 1,434 university students in Seoul. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and ANOVA. It was found that there was a significant difference of learning competencies by their grade and major. First, junior and senior students’ learning competencies were higher than freshman in cognitive and learning behavior. However, little difference was found in learning motivation according to school year. Second, engineering students’ learning competencies were higher than humanity/social science students in higher order thinking, creativity and problem solving process. The learning motivation of humanity/social science students was lower than other students. This study would give some implications to develop educational programs fostering learning competencies for university students according to school year and academic discipline.

The purpose of the study was to examine adolescent smart phone user types based on smart phone motivation and to examine smart phone addiction and school adjustment based on these smart phone user types. The subjects were 390(282 male, 108 female) in 2nd and 3rd grade of three middle schools at M city in Jeonnam province. They completed the Smart Phone Addiction Questionnaire, School Life Adjustment Questionnaire and Smart Phone Motivation Scale. Statistical analyses of data were frequency, mean, standard deviation, Cluster analysis, ANOVA, and Duncan's multiple range test. Cronbach's was computed for the reliability of the questionnaires. SPSSWIN 21.0 was used for data analyses. The results were as follows: First, based on 7 smart phone motivations (information seeking, communication and social relationship, service convergence, fashion and showing off, seamless information use, being immediately, habitual, and ease of use), three adolescent smart phone user types were classified. Type 1 showed the significantly highest scores in all seven smart phone motivations and it was named ‘Active’. Type 2 showed the significantly lowest scores in seven smart phone motivations and named ‘Passive’. Type 3 showed significantly higher scores than Type 2 and lower scores than Type 1 and named ‘Moderate’. Second, smart phone addiction was examined according to three types of adolescent smart phone user. As a result, Active type and Moderate type showed significantly higher scores than Passive type in all four subdimensions of smart phone addiction. There were no significant differences between Active type and Moderate type. Third, school adjustment was examined by three types of adolescent smart phone user. There were no significant differences according to adolescent smart phone user types in peer relationship and teacher relationship while significant differences were found in school rule and school achievement. On the contrary to the expectation, Active and Moderate types showed better school adjustment than Passive type, especially in school rule and school achievement. Although it was not statistically significant, Active type showed higher score than Moderate type.

The main purpose of the study was to examine the relation between perceived parent- adolescent child communication and social competence. In addition, this study examined the mediating effects of self-resilience and empathy between parent-adolescent child communication and social competence. The subjects were 350(170 male, 180 female) students in 2nd and 3rd grade of two middle schools at M city in Jeonnam province. They completed Parent Adolescent Communication Inventory(PACI), Ego Resiliency Scale, Interpersonal Reactivity Index(IRI), and Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire(ICQ). Statistical analyses of data were frequency, mean, standard deviation, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple Regression. Sobel test were used to examine the significance of mediating effects. Cronbach's alpha was computed for the reliability of the scales. SPSSWIN 21.0 was used for data analysis. The results were as follows: First, father-adolescent open communication and mother-adolescent open communication were positively correlated to adolescents’ self- resilience, empathy and social competence. However father-adolescent closed communication and mother- adolescent closed communication were negatively correlated to adolescents’ self-resilience and social competence and were not significantly correlated to empathy. Second, self-resilience had partial mediating effects between fatheradolescent open communication and social competence and between mother-adolescent open communication. However self-resilience had full medicating effect between father-adolescent closed communication and had partial medicating effect between mother-adolescent closed communication. Third, empathy had partial mediating effects between father- adolescent open communication and social competence and between mother-adolescent open communication and social competence. However empathy had no medicating effect between father-adolescent closed communication and social competence and between mother- adolescent closed communication and social competence.

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of daily hassles, self-esteem, social stigma, and internalized shame on resilience in forgiveness of adolescence in institutional care. Especially in order to find the effect on adjustment in forgiveness, the data was collected based on surveys from 175 adolescence in institutional care at 9 facilities located in Kwangju metropolitan city in South Jeolla province. Based on analysis of these factors, it revealed the fact that the lower daily hassles and the higher self-esteem resulted in the higher resilience. In addition, the higher level of forgiveness resulted in the higher resilience. Also, if you looked at the impact of the social stigma, and internalized shame on resilience, you would see that there was a statistically significant meanings of regulating effect on forgiveness. In particular, social stigma and forgiveness interacted mutually and this resulted in the higher resilience. Likewise internalized shame and forgiveness interacted with one another. So it lowered resilience. Based on the results of this study, a practical and political intervention measures to regulate were suggested in order to increase the resilience of the adolescence in institutional care.

The purpose of this study was to explore causal relation of academic self-efficacy and maternal variables on the academic stress adolescents. The subjects of the study were 349 second grade middle school students in Busan and their mothers who were selected through the questionnaire method. The results indicated that mother's trust of children, academic involvement, adolescent's academic self- efficacy and academic stress was different on academic achievement levels. In the group of high-academic achievement, mother's trust of children were indirectly affect through mother's academic involvement and academic achievement pressure to academic stress. Mother's academic involvement were directly affect to academic stress and also indirectly affect through academic self-efficacy. Mother's academic achievement pressure were directly affect to academic stress. In the group of low-academic achievement, mother's trust of children were indirectly affect through mother's academic achievement pressure and adolescent's self-efficacy to academic stress. Mother's academic involvement were indirectly affect through adolescent's self-efficacy to academic stress. Mother's academic achievement pressure were directly affect to academic stress.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of adolescent’s peer bulling and victimization on stress and school adjustment. The sample included 324 middle school students from two middle schools located in I city. Date was collected using the peer bulling and victimization inventory, stress index and school adjustment index, and statistically analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA(Scheffe’ test), correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. According to the results, there were significant differences in adolescent’s peer bulling and victimization, stress and school adjustment according to the adolescent’s grade, gender and school achievement. In addition, correlation analysis indicated that peer bulling and victimization were significantly positive correlated with adolescent’s stress and negative correlated with school adjustment. It was also found that peer bulling and victimization was a significant predictors of the adolescent’s stress and school adjustment.

This study examined poor children programs for achievement gaps in education. Eventually to investigate how to resolve gaps in education. The participants of social workers and teachers experience over on educational intervention setting 1 years in Daejeon were interviewed in-depth, and the data was analyzed by qualitative case study method. As a result, the determinants that made participants' experience continue to use educational intervention setting were grouped as follows: ‘children’s understanding’, ‘uppermost limit’, ‘focus of educational intervention’, ‘effectiveness of educational intervention, ’dilemma of persons in charge’, ‘directional nature of poor children’ programs.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of self-growth program on self- esteem, self-efficacy and social problem solving ability for school maladjusted middle students. The subjects were 13 school maladjusted middle students in K middle school located in Daejeon City. They were recommended by class teachers and Wee Class counselors under the agreement with parents on student participation in the study. The subjects were randomly assigned to 6 students as a experiment group and 7 students as a control group. Previous research was refer to this study, the study was consisted of 4 sub- areas; Self-Understanding, Self-Reception, Self-Opening and Self-Assertion. This study was mainly consisted of Self-Understanding based on interactions in cognitive awareness, emotional awareness and behavioral awareness. The program was progressed for 12 sessions-each session 45 minutes on twice for a week and analyzed the behavioral change in the process of the therapy and the effect of this program. As a result, students participated in Self-Growth program was more improved in Self-Esteem, Self-Efficacy, and Social Problem Solving Ability than students in a control group. This study’s self-growth program was effective on school maladjusted middle students in Self-Esteem, Self-Efficacy, and Social Problem Solving Ability.

부모 자녀 의사소통과 학교적응 간 상관관계 메타 분석

This study conducted a meta-analysis on the correlation between parent-child communication and school adjustment. For this study, 575 correlation effect sizes from 38 studies were analyzed by CMA program. The analysis results are as follows. First, the overall effect size of the correlation between parent-child communication and school adjustment was .11. Second, the effect size of a correlation between parent-child open communication and school adjustment(.293) was greater than that(. -0.52) of negative communication and school adjustment.. Third, of all the grade levels elementary school showed the largest effect size but in case of open communication, middle school also showed over medium effect sizes across all subscales of adjustment. And across all subscales of school adjustment, open communication showed larger effect sizes than negative communication. However, the effect sizes of middle school the effect size. The implications and limitations of these results as well as the direction of future research were discussed.

The purpose of this study was examine a mediating effect of self-identity and behavior control on the relationship between life-goal of youth and satisfaction of youth activity. This study used the data of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey(KYPS) by National Youth Policy Institute. The data on 7th graders of third year in 2012 were used. Questionnaire survey was conducted to 2,351 middle school student in all area, 2,351(males 1,176, females 1,175) was used for analysis. The result of this study were as follows. First, life-goal of youth was positively correlated with satisfaction of youth activity. When the youth who have a life-goal is participate in activities, satisfaction of youth activity is high. Second, it was found to provide a positive effect between life-identity and self -control, life-goal and behavior control. Third, self-identity was negatively correlated with life-goal of youth. Fourth, behavior control was positively correlated with life-goal of youth. When youth who well done behavior control is participate in activities, satisfaction is high. Fifth, self-identity and behavior control partially mediated the effect of life-goal on satisfaction of youth activity. In other word, life-goal is often a direct effect of satisfaction of youth activity and is influence indirectly through self-identity and behavior control. This consequence informed mediating effect of self-identity and behavior control on the relationship between life- goal of youth and satisfaction of youth activity.

The brain based educational programs are increasingly popular, because of advances in neurosciences. The purpose of this study was to develop Brain Education program and to investigate the effectiveness of Brain Education program for the mental health of the child and youth. Brain Education Program was applied to 15 elementary school students. Brain Education Program have been showing the positive effects. The scales were mental health scale, self-esteem scale and study stress scale. Elementary school students completed the brain based program over the course of 10 weeks. 15 students(8 boys, 7 girls) in a control group participated in the other class. Pre-test post-test comparisons were conducted through repeated measures ANOVA, to evaluate the effect of the Brain Education program. The results say Brain Education program positively influenced on somatization, depression, anxiety, mental health total, self esteem and stress reduction. Results were discussed in terms of possible mechanisms of benefit and an alternative method of present school education that has many problems.

First, it is to provide a space configuration for implementation of the locality as a public educational facility in residential land development district. It is to provides a public kindergarten from the perspective of urban context, rather than the mass and elevation design to express its function simply. 교과교실제 운영학교의 미디어 스페이스 배치유형별 특성 및 중요도 평가에 관한 연구

In this study, the media space of the 63 schools with excellent departmentalized classrooms selected by Ministry of Education and Science Technology was analyzed and categorized into four types, and the characteristics of its use of each type by main users were examined, and their satisfaction level was evaluated. This research aims at investigating the influencing relationship of the satisfaction level with the each type of media space through regression analysis, and finding improvement points of the media space. The results of this study are as follows. Difference was found in the characteristics of each type of users and their satisfaction level. In addition, the factors affecting the satisfaction level were concluded as learning and rest, indoor environment and management, and the satisfaction level of access. The biggest influence factor on the overall satisfaction level was turned out to be learning and rest rather than the satisfaction level of access, and the main factors of each type were found to be different. Based on the results above, the major improvement measures of each type were suggested. This research is expected to enhance the efficiency of support for studying facilities and to improve stable educational environment, preparing the revised curriculum and the expansion of departmentalized classrooms System.

The purpose of this study is to suggest architectural planning directions for improving mutual communication of user and librarian at children's library. It used quantitative method, Isovist Fields and Visibility Graph Analysis tool to analyze four cases of children's libraries. This study proposed the following issues to improve the result: (1)Based on the height of furniture considering the librarians working behavior, it is desirable to adjust below sitting eye level, also the layout of the furniture should be placed in a similar direction onto visible radiation. (2)The position of the reading room for infants and preschoolers should satisfy face-to-face arrangement for lower Visual Step Depth from service desk point. If it is placed on the side or rear part of service desk point, it should consider the material transparency for spatial visual communication in the plan. (3)The position of the service desk should be adjacent from passage space between general reading room and different function rooms to increase the librarian's observability and communication of visual perception. (4)The readers are required to have advanced consciousness in terms of the role of the librarian.

The departmentalized classroom system has been introduced as a part of educational policies of the Korea central government since 2010. Several experimental studies have been carried out on the effectiveness of the departmentalized classroom system. However, teaching and learning effects in all areas were not reported consistently. The most mentioned complaint was the line of flow. The targets of the study were the Pooksam middle school, the Ohsang high school, and the Moongyeong girls’ high school located at Kyungpook province. The three schools were classified into the three types of closed-end type, juxtaposition type, and parallel-connected type considering siteplan of the school buildings. The Purpose of the study was to design the space components such as home base, departmentalized classroom, research lab for the teachers, and media center for the departmentalized classroom system depending on the type of school siteplan.

This study began with the proposal of a suitable educational environment by analyzing and comparing the spacial relations that exist in the general schools and the alternative schools. Various school spaces are classified as either students' area or teachers' area. This study analyzes the different types of spacial relations that appear in general schools, as well as their potential applications on the spacial relations of the alternative schools. The types of spacial relations are classified as a separated type, a mixed type, a combined type, a cyclic type depending on the location of students' area and teachers' area. In the case of the separated type, the spacial relations of the general schools are represented by a horizontally-connected relation, but those of the alternative schools by a vertically-connected relation. Regarding the types of buildings, the Korean alphabet "ㅡ" is a standalone type that appears more often in the alternative schools than in the general schools. The Korean alphabet "ㄷ" type appears more often instead in the general schools. The spacial relations in the mixed type in the general school refer to the relationships between each spaces inside the schools facility, while those in the alternative schools refer to the relationships between each buildings. The cyclic relation, which refers to the relationship between artificially defined units of a connected building, appear both the alternative and the general schools.

The purpose of the exhibition is the communication of visitors and exhibits. People recognize exhibition environment by visual perception. Therefore it is important that the structure of the exhibition space of visual perception of characteristics. The research method of the study analyzed exhibition space of national museum of Korea by using Depthmap program which can analyze space with visual graph analysis function, and analyzed the visibility among unit areas by each history museum integration and exhibition contents composition. The purpose of this study is a spatial analysis that reflected structure of exhibition space. Ignore the interior space component of the space around the space structure, spatial analysis of the past, were analyzed only for architecture space. Therefore, a diversified units of spatial analysis to reflect the detailed structure, as well as promoting the spatial analysis, it was sought to analyze various results.
