The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-tests and ANOVA. It was revealed that students' perception on the importance of international education was high, students desired competent foreign faculty and students in universities. International education had a positive impact on the growth of international competences and learning outcomes in higher education. Students, however, indicated that international courses for stimulating high levels of higher order thinking were not sufficient. The students' perceptions on international education varied according to experience of living abroad and the level of English proficiency. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between smartphone addiction of university students and their depression, anxiety and aggression, as well as to examine the moderating effect of self-control on these relationships. In this study, 456 university students in Daegu were surveyed about their smartphone addiction, depression, anxiety, aggression and self-control level. The results were as followings. First, the general level of smartphone addiction of the university students was very serious, specifically the high results in the sub-factors of problems-tolerance, difficulty in everyday life, feelings of withdrawal, and virtual world orientation. Regarding gender differences, the level of smartphone addiction for female students was more serious than that of male students. University students with reported school life satisfaction in the 'middle' or 'low' groups were more likely to have higher levels of smartphone addiction than those students in the 'high' group. Second, there were significant positive correlations between smartphone addiction among university students and their level of depression, anxiety and aggression. While self-control exhibited no moderating effect over the relationship of smartphone addiction with depression or anxiety, there was a moderating effect over the relationship of smartphone addiction with aggression. The purpose of this study was to analyze the actual living conditions such as spatial use and needs of one person households by college students for unit modular housing design with box type units of one-room and Gosiwon. A field study and focus group interview were used to analyze and classify the general characteristics, the spatial use and preference for unit modular housing design. The results were as follows: firstly, the housing units types such as one-room and Gosiwon were divided into 6 categories; bedroom+bath+open kitchen type, bedroom+bath+divided kitchen+balcony, bedroom+bath, bedroom, bedroom+bath+open kitchen+balcony, bedroom+bath+balcony in order. Secondly, the major problems of housing units were shortage of space and closet, the cooking smells of indoors by unit planning of bedroom+open kitchen types and bed ventilation system without balcony, etc. Thirdly, it was found that the bedroom+bath+divided kitchen type was highly preferred in unit housing types for one person household. Based on the result, this study will provide a desirable direction for the unit modular design as affordable housing to college students with resonable space planning and living conditions.

This study begins to the question of the structural utility that could be observed in the space aimed for Infants. The drawing of them is organized in the simple way show the adaptive structure based on their general minds. The principle of simplicity provides the useful basis, as the physical space to pursue efficiency. In this study, The simplicity was analyzed the characteristics of the vertical -horizontal, the circle and the oblique structure, as the adaptive structure related to the visual perception of them and was organized by leveling and sharpening which was categorized into the dominant attribute of it. In short, The vertical -horizontal structure resulted in array based on the regular interval and reflectional symmetry by the two dimension. The circle structure resulted in radial symmetry by the three dimension and honeycomb structure. The oblique structure resulted in logarithmic spirals and self similarity transformations. The types are likely to compose the experience depending on the transcendental structure of early childhood and their cognitive architecture including the high suitability for the space.

Recently, the government has announced a variety of housing policies in order to reduce local housing costs and improve residential environment as well as to stabilize residences. The Hangbok Joint Dormitory out of them is off-campus dormitory to supply housing to university students at low costs by reducing acquisition cost expenses while using public lands as its site. This study was the first to target off-campus joint dormitory located in outskirt of the city and there are not enough preceding research data or cases to reference. Thus this study carried out a preference survey targeting students who have lived in dormitory. Through analysis on the needs of user, this study was able to extracts the elements which could be applied to the present proposal. The main contents of the questionnaire are about location, living space, service facilities, outdoor space, study space, lifestyle, space use pattern and so on. Looking at the details of the plan were made as a result as follows: unit design based on the balance between private and sharable space, spatial hierarchy at community spaces, isolated private open space, common use space at typical floor plan, diverse and qualitative outdoor space, etc.

This study aims at analysing visual characteristics of reading room and other spaces in children's library by analysing Visibility Graph Analysis which is the method to evaluate organization of space and visual relationship of space based on isovist area. Additionally, It aims to find out the spatial configuration by Investigation of user's behavior which is based on statistics by mapping spatial data. The following facts are the results of the study. Children's libraries have been studied revealed low openness on the lounge which is the extended part of the building, whereas extended breast-feeding room is not used actively because it revealed high openness. In D library, the reading room for infants has low Visual Clustering Coefficient and has not worked efficiently, because of the position of the room and interior arrangement of furniture. In that respect, to improve the situation the reading room's connection and placement of wall for the furniture can be suggested. Also, the breast-feeding room can be placed in reading room for infants. Practicing in the lecture rooms invigorated in these days, so active corridor space where has high Visual Integration & low Visual Clustering Coefficient and the reading room where shows unclosed spatial characteristic in Visual Connectivity should be separated for visitor's effective using in children's library. For the effective using, between users who is the purpose of reading and users who is participated in a library program, it should be avoided that the existing rooms are being used in another functional rooms.

After the establishment of the Mater Plan for Architectural Policy in 2010, many discussions and studies have been conducted on built environment education. As a result, various programs of built environment education have been developed and provided for students from the private sectors. In the national school curriculum, however, built environment education in Korea has been minimal, offered only in certain subjects as architectural and environmental issues. Even though there is a textbook on built environment education for elementary schools issued in 2013, no case of the selection of the textbook in schools has been found by the researcher. The purpose of this study is to investigate the means to integrate built environment education into national school curriculum. For the purpose, the researcher reviews overseas cases in which built environment education programs have been implemented as part of the national school curriculum. From the review, the study discusses systematic and continuous measures to integrate built environment education in the current national school curriculum and suggests the program’s composition of the built environment education in the National Common Core Curriculum with Selective-Centered Curriculum, and Creative-Experiential Activities.
