어머니의 심리적 통제가 아동의 또래관계에 미치는 영향 - 거부민감성과 내면화된 수치심의 매개 효과 -

This research aims to discover the mediated effect of rejection sensitivity and internalized shame from a mother's psychological control and children's peer relationships. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted for 371 male and female 5th and 6th grade elementary school students in Incheon Metropolitan City & Kyong-gi Province by using a scale of psychological control, a scale of peer relationships, a scale of rejection sensitivity, and a scale of internalized shame. Collected data was analyzed by SPSS WIN 18.0 program. The results of this research are summarized as follows: First, after looking into the correlation between the mother's psychological control and children's peer relationship, it was found that there is a negative correlation between the mother's psychological control and peer relationships. That is, if the mother's psychological control increases, the quality of children's peer relationships decreases. Also, each relationship had positive correlation according to an examination of relationship between mother's psychological control, rejection sensitivity and internalized shame, and this means that children's rejection sensitivity and internalized shame increase at the same time the mother's psychological control grows. Subsequently, in the investigation of the relationship between rejection sensitivity, internalized shame and peer relationship, negative correlation was noted for each one. That means higher rejection and internalized shame result in lower-quality peer relationships for children. In short, the higher the mother's psychological control results in higher rejection sensitivity and internalized shame of children, and it also reduces the quality of children's peer relationships. Second, as the result of the verification of a mediated effect for rejection sensitivity and internalized shame in the relationship among mother's psychological control and children's peers relationships, a partial mediated model, that mother's psychological control directly has an effect on children's peer relationships while it also has an effect on peer relationships through rejection sensitivity and internalized shame, It demonstrated that the mother's psychological control has a direct effect on peer relationships. However, it is negative effect on peer relationships by affecting children's psychology and causing their rejection sensitivity and internalized shame. Finally, the study's limits and further discussion were suggested.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of youth Internet game addiction on their ADHD symptoms and academic achievement. In this study 898 4-6th grade elementary school students from 5 schools in Seoul, Incheon and Gyeonggi educational regions participated. They were surveyed about their Internet game addiction level, inattention and hyperactivity/impulsiveness symptoms, and academic achievement. The data were analyzed by structural equation modeling. Results indicated that the Internet game addiction increased both the inattention and hyperactivity/impulsiveness symptoms. Particularly, the negative influence on the inattention symptom was more serious than that on hyperactivity/impulsiveness symptoms. While the hyperactivity/impulsiveness symptoms did not influence the academic achievement, inattention symptom negatively influenced the academic achievement. The Internet game addiction level also negatively impacted on the academic achievement in two ways. First, the Internet game addiction level directly gave negative influence on the academic achievement. Second, the Internet game addiction level gave negative impacts indirectly on the academic achievement through the inattention symptom.

This study aims to understand expected problems and unadaptable elements in advance when the juvenile delinquents are released from correctional facilities and return to schools and further minimize such problems by examining how differently normal students and juvenile delinquents perceive on the serious behavioral problems in schools. For this study, the reference data is collected and analyzed from 432 students of 4 schools in Seoul and Kyeonggi and 50 juvenile delinquents returning to ordinary schools from Seoul and Kyeonggi Reformatory. This research shows the following results: First, there is a perception difference for seriousness of problematic behavior in school between normal students and juvenile delinquents. Second, it shows the biggest differences of perception from wrong behavior of possessing tobacco, smoking, light larceny and special larceny. Third, in a domain of in-school order, juvenile delinquents' critical mind for the maladaptive behaviors, such as swearing and physical attack upon teachers, is lighter than that of ordinary students. Fourthly, the disparity of perception between maladaptive and normal students has remarkably appeared in refusing uniforms, hindering class lessons, cheating exams, and skipping off classes.

This study analyzes and clarifies the vague concept of a healing environment. This study used the process of Walker & Avant's concept analysis. A healing environment can be defined in terms of its attributes as follows: Healing environments are (1) the harmony between human being and nature, (2) mutual communication and interaction (3) an acclimatizable energy (4) multidimensional care. The antecedents for healing environment entail physical damage, disease condition, or weakened state caused by various factors. The physical, psychological, and emotional factors of the therapeutic environment will positively maximize the patients' healing process. Through the analysis of this concept, one hopes to clarify the concept's academic value and use the information as baseline data for theoretical development.

The purpose of this study was to search for approaches towards the improved empowerment of the community child center workers, by analyzing relations between their empowerment and its concerned variables. For that purpose, the investigator searched the characteristics of variables and relations among the variables and empirically analyzed the factors affecting the empowerment. As a result, there were significant differences in empowerment according to the organizational cultures and professional capability. The results of hierarchical regression analysis reveal that changes to each of the models were checked by introducing a new group of variables in each stage. Then the influences of the variables including the organizational cultures and professional capability on empowerment were tested through the influence and significance of the variables and the changing explanatory power of the entire models.

The study is aimed at looking into the difference and the relationship among social support, career preparation behavior, social exclusion and depression by classifying youths dropout of school by types. First, among youths who were to be surveyed, it was found that a type of maintaining study was 49.3%, a type of employment 24.1%, NEET 14.5% and a type of career exploration 12.2%. Second, in case of social support, it was found that a type of career preparation relatively had higher social support compared to a type of employment and NEET type, and a type of maintaining study had more career preparation behavior than NEET type and a type of career exploration had more career preparation behavior than NEET type. In overall social exclusion, a type of career exploration was found to have the lowest social exclusion that was subjectively perceived, and in case of depression, NEET type was found to be relatively higher than a type of career exploration. Third, in case of youths with a type of maintaining study, while career preparation behavior was also found to be higher as social support got higher, social exclusion (social relation, economy, education and regional facilities exclusion) and depression was found to be decreased. Besides, it was found that depression was higher as social exclusion (social relation, economy, education, regional environment, regional facilities and exclusion of social participation) got higher. In case of youths with a type of employment, depression was lowered and exclusion of social relation was also lowered as social support got higher. On the other hand, it was found that social relation, economic exclusion, exclusion of regional facilities were also high as depression got higher. In case of youths with a type of career exploration, while career preparation behavior was found to be higher as social support got higher, it was found that the overall social relation, economy, regional facilities, social participation and social exclusion got higher as depression got higher. In case of youths with NEET type, social support didn’t show meaningful interrelation with career preparation behavior but it was found that depression and social exclusion had meaningful relationship.

보호관찰청소년의 긍정적 발달 역량 함양을 위한 멘토링 프로그램 효과 분석

This study was undertaken to verify the effect of a mentoring program on fostering positive development capability in high-risk juveniles. The program in this study was developed to supplement the limitations of previous juvenile mentoring programs. The motivation-strengthening counseling model was applied to increase mentees’ motivation to participate. The quality-management system was implemented to reinforce mentor capability, was built, and the consecutive mentoring of juveniles in both one-on-one and group settings was performed. Twenty dropout students under probation by the K probation office were selected for this study. The pre-post design was applied to the non-similar control group to verify the effect of the program, and the non-parametric statistical analysis was used to analyze the pre-post effect. The result of the study showed the recidivism rate to be below 5% during the mentoring period and showed a significant effect on the self-efficacy, cognitive, moral, and behavioral competence, pro-social norms, and future assurance capacity of the positive development capabilities in juveniles under probation. However, the results did not show any significance in emotional competence or ties. This study is significant in that it confirmed the significant effects of the mentoring program developed by the central manifold cooperation system and mentor support systems on fostering recidivism prevention and positive development capabilities in high-risk juveniles who have dropped out of school.

The study aims to investigate how communicative and meaningful the English classes taught by a native English-speaking teacher are. The data were collected from three different levels of English classrooms (advanced/intermediate/beginning) in a middle school. The classes met once a week and each class was observed and tape-recorded twice (total 270 minutes). Communicative Orientation of Language Teaching (COLT) observation scheme was employed to analyze the classroom interaction and the characteristics of the classes. The results showed that even though the primary goal of the classes was to help the students develop their communication skills, the classes were not communicative enough to bring about meaningful and authentic interaction. In addition, the students were mostly situated in a passive mode where they had rare opportunities to decide the content of the class and to express their own opinions. Most interaction between the teacher and the students were initiated by the teacher’s pseudo questions and a large number of utterances produced by the students consisted of only one or two words. The study, on the basis of the results, discusses several pedagogical suggestions.

대학생의 가족건강성 및 낙관성과 정서지능에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences of family strengths, optimism and emotional intelligence with general background factors, and the correlation of them. The subjects in this study were 290 college freshman from university in G city, and questionnaires were carried out. Using SPSS program ver.18.0, t-test, correlation analysis were analyzed. The Scales used in this study were: 'korea family strength scale' of Song, In-suk(2011), 'optimism' of Kwon, Hye-Kyung(2004), and 'emotional intelligence' developed by Mon, Yong-Lin. The results of this study found as followings: First, There is statistically significant difference in high school type, family type, living arrangement of family, education level of mother, and religion of mother and father in family strengths, according to sex, and religion of mother in optimism, according to living arrangement of family, and religion of mother and father in emotional intelligence. Second, As correlation between family strengths and emotional intelligence showed positive correlation in all area, between optimism and emotional intelligence showed positive correlation in positive optimism.

The purposes of this study were to find the correlation of job preparing stress, depression, self-control and smartphone addiction in university students, and to explore the mediating role among job preparing stress, depression, self-control and smartphone addiction. The subjects were 230 university students in Seoul and Gyunggi-do area. The data were analyzed with frequency, Pearson's correlation and structural equation modeling by SPSS and AMOS. Instruments were Korea's NIA(2011)'s Smartphone Addiction Scale, Jung & Noh(2001)'s Job preparing stress, Zung(1965)'s Depression Scale, and Tagney et al(2004)'s Self-Control Scale. The major findings were as follows; job preparing stress and depression were negatively correlated with self-control and were positively with smartphone addiction. Job preparing stress and depression positively influenced smartphone addiction and negatively influenced self-control. self-control negatively influenced smartphone addiction. Self-control mediated the effects of job preparing stress, depression and smartphone addiction. In conclusion, self-control prevent from smartphone addiction as though job preparing stress and depression are. Thus special education program and counseling should be provided to increase university students' smartphone addiction through in order to reduce job preparing stress and depression and to improve self-control

The purpose of the study was to examine effects of attendance center order program based ‘Good Lives Model’ on the basic psychological need, empathy, and self-regulation abilities of juvenile delinquents. Good Lives Model from the strengths perspective is an alternative way of problem-focused probation program which dominated the probation system. The subjects in the experimental program were 17 students under probation by the K probation office. This program was held for 8 hours a day and five times a week, 40 hours as a total. The pre-post design was applied to the non-similar control group to verify the effect of the program, and the non-parametric statistical analysis was used to analyze the pre-post effect. The result of the study showed a significant effect on the basic psychological need, empathy, and self-regulation abilities of juvenile delinquents. Finding in this study provide implications for availability of attendance center order program based Good Lives Model for juvenile delinquents.

Interaction Effect of Ethnicity and Family Socio-Economic Status on Hispanic and White Students’ Math Gain Scores

Predicated on race and class divisions, the achievement gap is part of a larger legacy that intertwines individual and family resources with school quality, social capital, and educational opportunity. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of ethnicity and socio-economic factors in academic performance among Hispanic and White students. Using the data collected from a part of an Early Childhood Longitudinal Study (ECLS-K) conducted on the kindergarten class of 2010 to 2011, this study investigates the interaction effect of ethnicity and family-economic status on gains in Hispanic and White students’ math scores. The result indicates that socio-economic status (SES) and ethnicity are the source of variation, which is found to influence the achievement gap between White and Hispanic students. This research model provides empirical evidence that the study of SES and ethnicity are a useful framework for understanding achievement disparities among particular ethnic groups. Considering this statistical evidence, it makes sense for educators and policymakers hoping to bridge the achievement gap to consider the full context of a student’s life, including socio-economic status.

This study is an extension of All-purpose Multigym in Hungdok elementary school. Being a positive relationship was proposed between existing school and cultural facilities nearby, New all-purpose multigym was proposed in conjunction with the possibility of a multi-purpose sports and other events of the school. Furthermore considering of the user's age and usage patterns, the conjunction with the exercise and play was proposed. All-purpose Multigym connects playground and outdoor classroom emphasizing connectivity of playspace. Circular-patterned playspace is a play circulation connected from inner space to outdoor space and to inner space again considering children’s play pattern. The direct light on the west converted into diffused light through double skin wall finished by bricks layed sparsely irregularly.

This study was aimed to develop a planning method of CCTV cameras surveilling juvenile victimization to school crimes. With spatial settings of school common spaces, evolutionary algorithm was applied to implement the planning method for accommodating numerous variable compositions. The required variables, their initial conditions and boundary conditions were derived from the theoretical exploration on precedent research works. The applied evolutionary algorithm used a search method with tracking fitness factor. The fitness factor of the implemented algorithm was calculated from standard deviation of distributed non-surveillance ratio and shadow area ratio. The overall algorithm utilized, as computational parameters, the camera layout information including each camera’s position, panning angle and tilting angle under the initial and boundary conditions. Finally, the developed method enabled CCTV camera layout schemes, surveillance areas and the quantitative results to be generated by the heuristic search process. This study also showed method applicability to school settings especially focusing on indoor common spaces.

The educational trends have changed as time goes on. Education calls great changes and progress by the changes of the new surroundings in the future. There have been educational curriculums from the 1st through the 7th and the revision of 2009 since 1945, the restoration of independence. The purpose of this study is to improve the existing educational environment that is superannuated and to create the school environment for the future that can cope with the change of educational system actively in accordance with the increased requests over the improvement of educational environment and re- modeling on school. The plan based on this system, especially, has the purpose to classify the type of superannuated school and to apply the plan to the actual type of school. The study is not to express the compulsory reason of re-modeling of the existing school, but to find out the proper type on modern requests with positive plan. The 7th and the revision of 2009 curriculum demands for a significant change in school facilities. The focus of this study will be to determine a special quality of forms in re-modeling school for improvement of educational course and educational process in the change of 7th and the revision of 2009 curriculum.

As the social interest in youth issues increases recently, the youth center where young people can promote self-growth through the healthy leisure activities and the hobby development equipped with the training facilities based on information, culture and arts are newly constructed. For the healthy growth and the right ideals and dreams of young people, the better circumstances and facilities of local community are demanded. This research is to analyze and study the youth center in order to contribute to the vitalization of youth center for the better character development and the creativity improvement though the voluntary participation of young people to lead our future society. This research is to set up the user’s satisfaction evaluation method for user’s satisfaction survey and to compose the satisfaction index and the importance index for the inner space and outer space through the evaluation experiments by the cognitive characteristics of objects in order to discover the need of improvement by space composition. To get the construction plan and the improvement direction for youth center, the systematic analysis of POE(Post Occupancy Evaluation) is applied to the actual construction circumstance in order to derive the way of improving the quality of user’s life.

This study aims to propose a practical space enabling communication between audience and exhibition space by presenting exhibition space where interior space reflects flow experience expressive elements for communication between exhibition space and public. The methods of the study are following. First, the study looks at the connection of flow experience expression elements and exhibition space and analyzes the effects of exhibition space based on flow experience expression elements. Second, the study identifies the characteristics of each space against elements through analysis of case studies on the current status of exhibition space based on flow experience elements. Third, the study performs analysis of elements necessary for flow experience including immediate feedback, peak-end-rules, on-site experience, and sensual experience and confirms the importance of flow experience element implementation in exhibition space. Such study analysis results explain the effects based on flow experience elements through preceding researches on flow theories. This provides an important basis material for expression elements in exhibition space environment for enhanced audience flow.

In order to have teenagers be prepared for their uncertain future and realize their dreams, it is very important for them to choose their career choice, based on their understanding about real world careers. However, most school curriculums for teenager course job education seemed inadequate and insufficient. In this regards, development of an education experience program which allows teenagers to have better understanding on real job world by experiencing it directly or indirectly, and based on this, preparing a job experiencing facility through establishing an education experience display space became quite urgent matters. This study developed and suggested details of job experience program through analysis of various articles. Also based on this Educational experience display space configuration was discussed, main focused on; layout conceptual, suggestion of direction, space arrangement of display area, suggestion of human flow traffic, suggestion of unit space based on experience space specific plan and their accompanying plan view and variable plan view. This study can be served as fundamental resources for smooth operation of the experience education programs when establishing facilities for youth career education in the future. Also this can be helpful for consisting of more effective display space for educational experience.
