The major purpose of this study was to explore the mediating effects of ego-resiliency between social support and stress coping strategies in adolescence. The subjects were 328 middle school students located in Seoul. They completed questionnaires on social supports, ego-resilience scale by Block and Kremen(1996), and stress coping strategies based on Lazarus and Folkman(1984). The major findings were as follows: First, perceived social support as well as ego-resilience had significant effects on stress coping strategies. In particular, the mediating role of ego-resilience was found in the relationship between social support and stress coping strategies, which confirms that social support has an indirect effect on stress coping strategies through ego-resilience, rather than direct effect.

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate how mother’s emotional intelligence influences on infant’s social competence. To achieve the purpose, this study evaluated the emotional intelligence of 306 mothers whose children are going kindergartens and nurseries in G city and the social competence of their children, and then analyzed the statistical data by SPSS. The results are as follows: First, the mother’s emotional intelligence and infant’s social competence differed according to the mother’s general background such as age, level of education, and having a job or not. Second, the higher the mother’s emotional intelligence was, the more social competence the infant had. Third, the mother’s emotional intelligence showed meaningful positive relationship in the infant’s total social competence. Fourth, emotional control, emotional expression, and empathy among the elements of mother’s emotional intelligence were influential factors on predicting the infant’s development of social competence. In short, the mothers’ emotional intelligence had much influence on their infants’ social competence. These results indicate that mother’s emotional intelligence level could considerably influence on infant’s social competence.

This study explored the use of Figure Therapy work when counseling adolescents of intra-familiar sexual abuse. Trauma Family Therapy developed Figure Therapy, a therapeutic process that helps to restore peace and healing to family members entangled with the fates of those from previous generations. Trauma Family Therapy revolutionized family systems therapy by illuminating the hidden, and often destructive, loyalties within families. The author concludes that Figure Therapy work can be used to help adolescents and their parents become aware their patterns of thinking and acting.

The purpose of this study was to examine predictors of academic achievement among meta-cognitive strategy, academic self-efficacy and procrastination, and to investigate the mediating role of procrastination in the relationship between self-regulated learning and academic achievement. Two hundred seventy eight college students in Daegu province participated in this study. The study employed the Barron and Kenny's(1986) model to investigate the mediating role of procrastination in the relationship between self-regulated learning and academic achievement. The results of the current study are as follows: First, self-regulated efficacy and monitoring had positive influences on academic achievement. Self-regulated efficacy is one of the subscales of academic self-efficacy and monitoring is one of the subscales of meta-cognitive strategy. Second, the relationship between meta-cognitive strategy and academic achievement was partially mediated by procrastination. Third, the relationship between academic self-efficacy and academic achievement was partially mediated by procrastination. The results suggest that self-regulated efficacy and monitoring play an important role in academic achievement and the procrastination mediated the relationship between self-regulated learning and academic achievement.

This study verified the mediating effects of internalized shame on the relationship between self discrepancy and social anxiety. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted to 591 university students in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do and 522 of them (males, 216, females, 306) were used for the analysis. As measuring tools, self discrepancy (self-questionnaire), internalized shame(ISS), social anxiety (SIAS, SPS) scales were used. The result of analyzing the gathered data showed that first, self discrepancy, internalized shame and social anxiety have positive correlation. And second, the result of exploring the effect of self-discrepancy on social anxiety showed that entire self-discrepancy, sub-factors of self-discrepancy, reality-ideal discrepancy, reality-duty discrepancy have a significant effect on social anxiety. Third, the result of ascertaining if mediating shame mediates the relationship of self discrepancy and social anxiety showed that entire self-discrepancy, reality-ideal discrepancy, reality-duty discrepancy have a significant effect on social anxiety by making internalized shame as partial mediation. Thus, this study is significant in that internalized shame is an important mediating factor about the effect of self-discrepancy on social anxiety. This study discussed the analyzed findings in relation to precedent study and presented suggestions at counselling, educational scene and future study.

The team system is believed to bring higher productivity by increasing the autonomy of the members of the organization. The purpose of this study is to understand the relevance of the team system in the process of use by the youth facilities based on the team leaders' experience. To this end, data was collected by conducting semi-structured in-depth interviews of the team leaders who have experienced team system, and the data were analyzed by a qualitative research method, case study. The study results are: first, the communication between the members has become smoother while operating the team system and the communication between teams was coordinated by team leader meetings. Second, team members' opinions were respected in decision-making, which was mostly made based on the decisions of the team unit, and a lot of discretion was given to the team for the decisions. Third, there was a little ambiguity in the role of the operation team leader who supported the entire Y consign-operated youth facility because the team leader still had a role as a middle manager. Fourth, it was found that there was a lot of autonomy in the way of the work of the team system in youth facilities and that a consensus of 'we' is formed between the team members.

The purpose of the reconsideration on youth researches is to highlight the necessity for various adolescent studies associated with youth. By far, youth-related researches have mainly focused on an extension of childhood psychological and emotional development of youth. However, the adolescent can be classified into childhood-adolescent, adolescent, and adolescent youth, respectively. Thus, an adolescence research should understand characteristics of each adolescent group in the development process. This study has investigated content and direction for future adolescent researches as follows. First, we should support psycho-social interventions and developmental tasks across children (childhood-adolescent), adolescent, and youth (adolescence-youth, young adult). Second, in a stage of the transition to adulthood in the life course, we should study the basis for the economic, social, and spiritual self-realization and supportive welfare. Third, as an extension of adolescence, we should concern new direction and contents for the adolescence-youth while understanding their social status and role. Fourth, we should study on the marriage culture and additional researches which appear in the course of adolescence as well as the development of a series of meaning in the family of life. As a result, this study concludes that we need more extensive studies to help the adolescence smoothly transit to the adulthood. These can be mainly related with the job formulation through occupations and the home with marriage.

The purpose of this study was to propose the development directions of mobile applications for the adolescents career education through the program analysis. The target application programs were totally 53 which were analysed according to the target ages, educational goals, program types and qualities. As the results of analysis, 63% of applications were for adults by ages, 49.1% of applications were to support career explorations by educational goals, and 37.7% of applications were to utilize the career informations by program types. Only 8 of the applications were to encourage the learner's self-directed creativity in the program qualities. There are only a few qualified applications in terms of technical aspects, interactions, and user-customized functions. Those results implies the need for career education applications tailored for youth. Development of effective applications for the youth connected with the local communities might be an appropriate alternatives for the career education practices such as loose semester for career exploration.

The study was to investigate effects of school maladjusted students' child abuse on school adjustment and to examine mediating effect of ego-resilience. The subject was 206 middle school student in 18 schools at cheongju-si. The major results of this study were as follows. First, results of multiple regression, the physical abuse, optimism and anger adjustment was appeared to effect school adjustment. Second, results of mediating effect, ego-resilience was appeared to perfect mediate between child abuse and school adjustment. Therefore, social community(social welfare center, police, local government etc) must strive creating the right environment to grow up to be good students

특수학교 지적장애학생의 진로에 대한 부모의 인식과 진로교육 방향

The attitudes of parents on career of students with intellectual disabilities in a special school were studied to make recommendations for future career education in special education. A qualitative study using in-depth interview was done for five parents. The results of this study are as followings. First, parents of students with mild intellectual disabilities wanted their offsprings to gain employment at sheltered workshops or more, whereas those of students with severe intellectual disabilities wanted their children to enter vocational education courses after high school because of unclear career of the children. Second, they wanted to get career information much earlier than present, and to receive more specific information on career education within schools. Third, they also wanted to have career counseling from teachers since it would improve parents' understanding of their children so that it would extend career decision opportunities with the parents' help. Based on these results, some recommendations were suggested. First, career education should start from elementary schools, based on career planning which is proper for individual students' needs. Second, cooperation between parents, teachers, special education service specialists, and policy makers and reconstruction of career education curriculum planning are needed to improve quality of life of those students. Third, it is necessary to nurture school career counselors through professional workshops and to make the parents as facilitators for students career development through the professional career counseling. Forth, exclusive organization for career education should be established in regional communities for life-long career education.

대학생의 성인애착과 정서조절능력의 관계에서 거부민감성의 매개효과

This study analysed the relationships between adult attachment, rejection sensitivity, and emotional regulation using data collected from questionnaires designed to measure how much of the three affects individuals, and completed by 412 university students in Gwangju and the Chonnam region. SPSS 20.0 programme was used on this study for a correlation analysis and hierarchical multiple regression analysis, and Sobel Test was performed to verify the mediated effect. The results are as follows: Firstly, the study shows that there is a significant correlation between adult attachment, rejection sensitivity, and emotional regulation. The relationship between adult attachment and rejection sensitivity is positive, while there is a negative relationship between adult attachment and emotional regulation. The effect of rejection sensitivity is also shown to be negatively related to emotional regulation. Second, the result of analysing the mediated effect of the influence of rejection sensitivity on the relationship between adult attachment and emotional regulation shows that the two types of adult attachment affect emotional regulation by the same path. In other words, both attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance are directly connected to emotional regulation, and are indirectly related to it when the effect of rejection sensitivity is a mediating factor. Thus, the result of this study shows that insecure attachment is caused by difficulties in controlling emotions. It prompts a negative perception of others in the affected individual by exacerbating the effect of rejection sensitivity, which is the sensitizing of a response to rejection from the nervous anticipation of it. This study, then, shows that it could be difficult for people who have a high level of rejection sensitivity to control negative emotions adaptively because of being overwhelmed by these emotions, which are due to the perceived rejection of themselves by others.

전국 17개 광역자치단체의 아동 및 청소년 관련 조례에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to present the improvement measures through analyzing ordinance regarding children and adolescents of the 17 metropolitan governments of the country. For this purpose, the ordinances regarding children and adolescents are collected through the enhanced local laws and regulations information system(http://www.elis.go.kr/) from september 25, 2013 to now. The main research method for this study is descriptive study. In conclusion, a total of 36 ordinances regarding children and adolescents in 17 metropolitan governments of the country were enacted. Mandate ordinances are 13 (36.1%) and autonomous ordinances are 23(63.9%). A result of analyzing the contents of enact ordinance was composed more than 8 sphere like facilities, safety protection, welfare, committee, fund, arts and culture, human rights, and so on. Based on above result of this research, the improvement measures are as follows:First, enactment of mandate ordinance should be expanded. Second, enactment of autonomous ordinance regarding children and adolescents should be expanded. Third, the exemplary autonomous ordinances regarding children and adolescents should be excavated for 17 metropolitan governments of the country. Fourth, each local government needs to have their own special autonomous ordinance regarding children and adolescents

지역사회 청소년 네트워크와 외국의 실천경험 연구

This study deals with the analysis of community youth network and the practice experiences of network initiatives of foreign countries. Analytic framework of community youth development(CYD) and the community network theories were applied and literature of previous studies were reviewed. Various types of community network were studied and the methods and stages of community network development for youth were also mentioned in order to understand the practice experiences of network intiatives in the advanced foreign countries. Various cases of network development and community initiatives focusing on youth behaviors, community capacity building for young people, and youth participation improvement were analyzed. These examples include Community That Care(CTC), Comprehensive Community Initiative(CCI), Healthy Community/Health Youth(HCHY), and other organizational and governmental networks established in USA, UK, and other European countries. In conclusion, the common successful elements of the community youth networking experiences were analyzed and several lessons learned including community conditions for youth development, applications of the community theories researched, and leadership of the initiatives were suggested for the development of Korean youth policy and practices.

The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of demographic variables(sex, grade, parental educatiion, parental occupation, SES), self-esteem, communication, social support, acculturative stress on school resilience of adolescent from multicultural families. The subjects were 274(126 male, 148 female) adolescents from multicultural families in Jeonnam province. They completed Rosenberg’s Self-Esteem Scale, Communication skill scale, Student Social Support Scale, Acculturative Stress Scale and School Resilience scale. Statistical analyses of data were frequency, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test, Stepwise regression analysis. Cronbach's alpha was computed for the reliability of the scales. SPSSWIN 20.0 was used for data analysis. The results were as follows: While adolescents’ sex and SES had no influences on school resilience of adolescents from multicultural families, Grade, paternal education and occupation had significant influences. Also it was found that self-esteem, teacher support, peer support, maternal occupation had significant influences on interests in school work, whereas communication, self-esteem and teacher support had significant influences on attitude toward academic achievement. Related to school rule conformity, teacher support, acculturative stress, communication, sex and community support were significant variables.

대학생의 다문화사회에 대한 인식

This study used Q methodology to classify and conduct an in-depth analysis of college students’ perceptions of multicultural society. In doing so, this study aimed to provide basic data that can be used to develop educational programs tailored to particular perception types and spread proper awareness. As a means of discovering, explaining, and understanding individual forms of subjectivity, the Q methodology was considered an appropriate method for investigating human perception in this study. This study selected a total of 41 Q statements through a literature review, an examination of precedent research, and in-depth interviews. Thirty-four college students were asked to rate the extent to which they agreed with each statement on a 9-point scale. The collected data were analyzed using the QUNAL program. Based on the results, college students’ perceptions of multicultural society were classified into four types. Type 1 is termed the “development expectation”type, which perceives a multicultural society as a single, constructive society with abundant human resources and the possibility of national integration. Type 2 is termed the “pain concern” type, which views a multicultural society as a community that differs from a culturally homogeneous society and requires much time and effort for integration, such as the acceptance of different values. Type 3 is termed the “fate perception” type, which perceives multiculturalism as an inevitable global trend that will persist in the future. Type 4 is termed the “conflict recognition” type, which considers multiculturalism a condition that can trigger social issues and cultural collisions, with various difficulties generated in the process of adaptation. In general, college students showed interest in and openness to multicultural society, perceiving it as a destined community with significant growth potential as it gradually comes into alignment with Korean sentiments. Thus, various future efforts are warranted, such as developing and applying educational programs tailored to particular perception types and providing opportunities for participation and education.

The purpose of this research is to study the differences of the college students' consciousness to the public environmental design in Cheong-ju. The contents of this research consist of two main parts. The first part is to review the concept of the public environmental design and the projects of the public environmental design in Korea. The second part is to analyze the college students' consciousness on the public environmental design. The results show that the college students' consciousness on the public environmental design is different from the other participants' consciousness in Cheong-ju. The college students' consciousness on the public environmental design is high in 'accessibility'. The college students' consciousness is middle in 'usability', 'locality', 'landscape' and 'sustainability'. The college students' consciousness is low in 'safety', ‘construction','community', 'regional welfare' and 'economical efficiency'. The research shows that the public environmental design must be planned and executed, based on the characteristics of participants' views.

This study is to investigate the mediating effect influenced by self-efficacy between the attachment with parent and peer and the adolescent's leadership life skills. The subjects were 281 students whose grade are from 1st to 3rd selected from three middle schools in Incheon metropolitan city. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modelingby means of SPSS and AMOS. Major findings of this study are as follows; First, as looking into the correlations between attachment with parent and peer, self-efficacy has static positive correlations with the adolescent's leadership life skills. In other words, as attachment to parents and peer, self-efficacy is higher, the adolescent's leadership life skills is higher. And second, as a result of verifying the mediated effects of self-efficacy between the attachment with parent and peer and the adolescent's leadership life skills, partial mediated model is adopted to this study which the attachment to parent and peer affects the adolescent's leadership life skills through self-efficacy. Finally, the educational implication for promoting adolescent's leadership were discussed.

대학신입생의 대학생활적응과 학업적 자기효능감 향상을 위한 멘토링 프로그램 효과 연구

The purpose was to investigate the effects of mentoring program in University freshman. The program, which was carried out for the first time among universities in Korea, was designed to help university freshmen with increasing adjustment to college life and academic self-efficacy. The program was developed according to the psychosocial function model- role modeling, counseling, acceptance and confirmation, and friendship. The subjects of this study were 80 students. Data were analyzed using χ2- test, Fisher's exact test, t-test and paired t-test with SPSS WIN Program. The results of this study were as follows. First, mentoring program affected significantly on improvement of experimental group's adjustment to college. Second, mentoring program affected significantly on improvement of experimental group's academic self-efficacy. Mentoring program can be effective one to the adjustment to college and the academic self-efficacy. Therefore suggest as follows. Mentoring program expands to the whole college students and research on the effect is carried out repeatedly.

Hiroshi Hara is one of the most influential architects in the modern history in Japanese architecture, not only known as an architect but also as an architectural theorist and academic educator. Hara has made a considerable contribution to shaping the course of Japanese architecture. Equally, the new and rapid developments in the social, cultural and urban conditions of the country have influenced his thoughts and work, prompting a gradual shift in direction and broadening in scope of his architectural theory. From the ‘Yukotai Theory’ in the 1960s to the concept of “Modality’ late in the 1980s, his arguments always has caused the sensation in the architectural field even until recently. From this pointt of view, this paper investigates the outline of the architectural theories of Hiroshi Hara and analyses the completed youth educational facilities based on the theories of each period. Then in the final part of the paper, the implications of his architectural theories to his works through the history will be discussed.

This study for the relocation of the public education facilities in the special preservation district of the Buyeo ancient city preservation district, has the purpose to propose the Schematic design of the relocation of the current Buyeo women’s high school and library since it has been known to be the palace site of ancient Baekjae. The relocation site is within the boundaries of the Buyeo historical cultural environmental district, having the advantage of securing budget and expropriation of land. Also nearby there are the Buyeo elementary school and middle school which could meet the functions as an educational belt district. However the hill on the northern side of the relocation site has relations with the Buso Mountain and it is known that there are possibilities of excavating ancient facilities of ancient Baekjae and high rise construction plans should be sublated for the protection of the scenery of the ancient city. The result of the study for the Schematic Design of the Buyeo women’s high school and library has the intentions of becoming the precedent guidelines of the relocation of public education facilities in ancient city districts and is a new example of architectural planning for the preservation of ancient city districts and use of historical cultural districts.

In modern community that is important for the local cultural life, the social function of the 'publicity' is an important key word. Neighborhood living area that can be used in the cultural needs of the people and activities to accommodate local cultural facilities to all residents plays an important role. This paper studies youth programs of youth center and the local cultural facilities by analyzing the cases of the actual situation and a program for youth will be discussed. The aim of this study is to overview the basic concept and the architectural characteristics of each space of design proposals for Sanggye2-Dong Public Facilities, Nowon-gu. The existed public centre of Sanggye2-Dong had been deteriorated and could not provide suitable service for citizen. Therefore, the architectural competition was proceeded to build new public facility to enhance its functional efficiency and support various programmes including health care center, multi-purpose theatre and library. Considering regional aspects and local users such as young generations was demanded as the main design goals of the competition. This study analyses principal ideas of architectural planning and sustainable design based on the competition proposal.

The purpose of this thesis is to discuss how placeness is engaged in site-specific arts, and conclusion is as following. 1, although works are situated in the same place, each individual artist chooses different themes, and artists generally prefer a singular subject rather than plural subjects. 2, placeness is divided into “Nature,” “Culture,” and “History.” Many artists understand well enough not only the characteristics in-depth but also the characteristics of places. 3, in terms of form and material, artists tend to use various materials for the same place they use for their art. 4, form structure is mainly divided into faceable style, touchable style, and surroundable style while the subject of how to appreciate art is divided into 7 sections. In the subject of how to appreciate artworks, how the viewer “physically experiences” places is more general than just “seeing” the works. 5, how to visualize placeness is mainly divided into “emphasis,” “examination,” and “visibility.” Any form structure can pertain to each expressing method above, but the most suitable expressing method is different for the form structure. 6, when one thinks about the relationship between placeness and expressing method, it is the most widely used to “emphasize” nature even more to understand the invisible “Nature.” “Culture”which is invisible to eyes but can be recognized through objects can be understood by “emphasizing” and “examining.” “History” which can be understood with the biggest difficulty generally takes the method of “visibility.”

This Study proposes program of University Library facility and bases on integrating all library resources to respond changes of user’s demands on information services and library environment. Moreover the study suggests Hybrid Library model that can offer one-stop service such as research and study space for users and communication space for individuals and groups. With changes in environment of information use, University Library adopted a new space composition concept, Information Commons. This study suggests space composition and operating system of Information Commons and concept and space composition managing system of Hybrid University Library. Thus, The study suggests space composition for rational management based on the evaluated case study on the space program composition and its hierarchy of newly built local university library within 5years. This study signifies in providing necessary documents for rational and efficient space management through reorganizing space composition in accordance to its changes in information oriented generation when designing.

The objective of this research is to provide data on a design of school buildings in Korea based on an analysis of architectural characteristics and spatial layout of international schools in Global Education city of the Jeju Special Province. Literature review and a field study was conducted to examine background of establishing international schools, legal criteria and previous studies. In addition, general architectural characteristics, spatial layout and learning space of the schools were analyzed. First, all the schools adopted day and boarding schooling method and UV-type operation. Second, in regard to building characteristics, international schools divided grammar-level and junior high-level blocks, and the buildings were four stories high or lower. Third, as for spatial layout, the BHA buildings were scattered, the NLCS Jeju buildings were put in a surrounding pattern, and the KIS Jeju buildings were placed in the order of hierarchy. Fourth, as for the traffic circulation, the BHA showed a mixed pattern, the NLCS Jeju showed a branch-like pattern, and the KIS Jeju showed a straight-thru type. Fifth, all the schools had learning space laid out in a cluster type: an island cluster for the BHA, a multi-cluster for the NLCS Jeju, and a linear cluster for the KIS Jeju. Sixth, all the examined schools had a double corridor layout for learning spaces other than the junior block of the NLCS Jeju, which had a single corridor.

At first, French youth facility which has a history of more than one hundred years, began as a form of charity in religious facilities. After that Government as well as the company also helped its growth. In september 2006 lt was reorganized under overall title of Accueil collectif de mineurs a caractere educatif . It shows characteristics of French youth facility emphasizing the educational program. The educational program was made by considering age of minors, nature of activity, condition of physical activity, distribution of activity and rest, participation of minors, evaluation methods and feature of space and place in cooperation with organizer, director and instructor. Also It can be called the framework that gives meaning to the organized activities in group life, reflecting national youth policy.

Predictors of Academic Achievement in Newly Immigrant Youth

Newly immigrant students have faced both challenges and opportunities that influence their academic achievement. This study investigated differences in academic achievement among newly immigrant students in the Republic of Korea. Using a multiple case studies approach, this study identified factors that impact the academic achievement levels of newly immigrant students from China, the Philippines, Angola, and Uzbekistan. The analysis of participants’ narrative voices from this study revealed that although some newcomer immigrant students performed academically at high levels with strong educational motivations, others demonstrated low academic achievement with a much fewer motivations. Consistent with prior research, the analysis suggested that family characteristics, students’ socio/culture perspective, and language proficiency, were related to the academic performance of these students. This case study was designed to identify areas of need, assist with the creation of multicultural and cultural education policies for school systems, and provide some suggestions for bilingual and cultural education programs.

The purpose of this study was to analyze teachers’ intervention experience on bullying. Content analysis on in-depth interviews with seven teachers was conducted. Six categories and 36 themes were derived from the data. The six categories included: patterns on bullying intervention, attitude toward bullying intervention, negative feeling toward bullying intervention, intervention's difficulties, need of support for effective bullying intervention, and suggestions for future program on bullying intervenyion. Patterns on school bullying intervention included survey, identification of the cause, punishment, counseling, connecting friends, consultation, sympathy, balancing, and providing a sense of security. Attitude toward bullying intervention included a sense of reponsibility, skepticism about the intervention, and avoidance. Negative feeling toward bullying intervention included guilty and frustration. Intervention's difficulty included misunderstanding, side-effects of instructions, lack of confession, difficulty in gripping the situation, difficulty toward parents' interference, complicated situations, and limitation of teachers’ ability, systemic problems, ineffective programs, and deficiency of connection. Need of support for school bullying intervention included needs for professional support, teachers' education, and systemic programs. Suggestion for future program on bullying intervention included continuation, specialization, and programs for the students, teachers, school, parents, and the community. It is suggested that specific and detailed multi-level bullying prevention or intervention programs be developed to decrease bullying.

The major purpose of this study was to explore the moderating effects of adolescent's self-esteem and self-initiative narcissism on relationships between internalization of socio-cultural norms toward appearance and appearance dissatisfaction by gender. The subjects were a total of 516 students attending 5th and 6th grade student of elementary school and 1st and 2nd grade students of middle school. For data analysis, frequency, Cronbach α, Pearson's correlation coefficients, hierarchial regression were used. The main results were as follows: first, boys' and girls' adolescent’s internalization of socio-cultural norms toward appearance had positive correlation with the appearance dissatisfaction. Second, the moderating effect of self-esteem on the relationships between boys' and girls' internalization of socio-cultural norms toward appearance and appearance dissatisfaction was significant. When the level of self-esteem is high, appearance dissatisfaction is low unrelated to the level of internalization of socio-cultural norms toward appearance. Third, the moderating effect of self-initiative narcissism on relationships between girls' internalization of socio-cultural norms toward appearance and appearance dissatisfaction was significant. Although the level of internalization of socio-cultural norms toward appearance is low, when girls' self-initiative narcissism is high appearance dissatisfaction are also high. Limitations are discussed.

The aim of the current study was to identify the implications of participation experiences in the soldiers' creative invention education program, in terms of military human resource development(MHRD) and military lifelong learning. For this purpose 8 soldiers were interviewed in-depth from December 2012 to February 2013. 52 descriptors, 3 categories and 8 sub-categories were ultimately drawn out from the gathered qualitative research. The key findings of the study are as follows:First, participation experiences in the soldiers' creative invention education program revealed the program to be the ideal mode of education for creative soldiers. Second, the program was received negatively by the military learning organization on account of the as-yet underdeveloped culture within the military learning organization, a result of various obstacles. Third, the program allowed soldier inventors to extensively showcase their talents and ambitions. This study also made further suggestions for the soldiers' creative invention education program, based on the revitalization of military learning organizations.
