대학생의 분리 개별화 수준과 진로결정수준의 관계에서 자기효능감, 자기개념 명확성의 매개효과

The study aims to identify the mediating effect of self-concept clarity and self-efficacy in the relationship between separation individualization level and career decision level of college students. For this purpose, 356 data samples were collected from the college students currently enrolled in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Chungcheong, Jeolla and Kyungsang area, and measured by Separation-Individuation Scale(SIS), Career Decision Scale(CDS), Self-Concept Clarity Scale(SCC) and Self Efficacy Scale(SES). SPSS, Amos and M-plus were used for data analysis, including descriptive statistics, correlations, evaluation of structural equation model and mediating effects. Results showed that as follows: First, self-concept clarity and self-efficacy had significant mediating effects between separation individualization and career decision level. Second, self-concept clarity and self-efficacy had significant double mediating effects in the relationship between separation individualization and career decision level.

This study aimed to examine the influence of economic hardship on academic achievement among multicultural adolescents. This study also investigated whether happiness mediated the influence of economic hardship on academic achievement and whether there were gender differences in the mediating effect of happiness. The data used in this study came from the 13th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-Based Survey conducted in 2017, and the analytic sample of this study was composed of 956 multicultural adolescents living with at least one foreign-born parent. The main results from multiple linear regression analyses are as follow. First, economic hardship negatively influenced academic achievement among multicultural adolescents. Second, multicultural adolescents’ happiness partially mediated the influence of economic hardship on academic achievement. Third, a partial mediating effect of happiness was found for male adolescents, and a perfect mediating effect of happiness was found for female adolescents. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among attachment, social anxiety, and self-esteem. Also, in this study, it was examined whether self-esteem mediated the relationship between attachment and social anxiety. 363 freshman were sampled for this study. For data analysis, reliability analysis, correlation among, variables, analysis of multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results of this study were as follows. First, There was a significant positive correlation between attachment and social anxiety. Second, There was a significant negative correlation between attachment and self-esteem. Third, There was a significant negative correlation between self-esteem and social anxiety. Fourth, a result of examining the mediating effects of self-esteem in the relationship between attachment and social anxiety appeared to have a partial mediating effect. Suggestions for future research, the limitation of this study, and the implications were discussed.

This study is a study on the experience of returning to society of youths who leaved short-term youth shelters. The factors affecting the return to society of youths were the ability to utilize social resources and the will to be independent. Short-term shelter played an important role in finding stability for runaway youths. However, male youths thought that it was more important to earn money by working part-time rather than participating in the shelter program because of anxiety about the future. The female youths participated in the psychotherapy of the shelter and recovered their mental health, and these positive changes led to employment. Female youths gave a positive evaluation of the service provided by the shelter for returning to society. The male youths said they did not get any practical help because they continued to work while entering the shelter. Runaway youths have experienced loneliness, constant money to maintain their livelihood, and difficulties in interpersonal relationships after returning to society. After returning to society, They have constantly contacted with the shelter and received counseling. Based on these results, this study suggested the need to set up concepts for returning to the Society, providing social return services considering gender characteristics, developing social return manuals, and operating a youth self-support center.

This study examined to what extent self-esteem and attachment to parents are associated with adolescents’ longitudinal trajectories of depression. This study used three waves of longitudinal data from Gyeonggi Education Panel Study(GEPS, 2012-2014). Subjects were the 4051 adolescents(2084 boys, 1967 girls) in the middle school. The latent class growth model and the multinominal logistic regression were used for data analysis. This study identified four distinct longitudinal trajectories of depression in male adolescents: the first group with moderate but sharp decrease in depression, the second group with low but sharp increase in depression, the third group with consistently moderate levels of depression, and the fourth group with consistently low levels of depression. The multinominal logistic regression analysis revealed that male adolescents with lower self-esteem and attachment to parents was related to the odds of following consistently moderate levels of depression trajectory. This study identified five distinct longitudinal trajectories of depression in female adolescents: the first group with moderate but decrease in depression, the second group with consistently low levels of depression, the third group with low but increase in depression, the fourth group with moderate but sharp decrease in depression, and the fifth group with consistently high levels of depression. The multinominal logistic regression analysis revealed that female adolescents with lower self-esteem and attachment to parents was related to the odds of following consistently high levesl of depression trajectory.

중등 예비교사의 교직과목 집단상담 참여 경험에 대한 질적 연구

The purpose of this study was to explore secondary school student teacher’s group counseling experience. For this, 12 student teachers studying secondary education and had group counseling experience participated in this study, and they were examined their experiences in each stage of group counseling and application method by using focus group interview. Results showed that 4 domains and 10 categories as for secondary school student teachers’ group counseling experiences were drawn. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, as a result of examining the experiences of the start stage of group counseling, student teachers experienced expectations for communication and fear of group counseling. Second, as a result of examining the experiences of the intermediate stage of group counseling, student teachers experienced listening to others and empathy, self-understanding, learning counseling skills, and finding strength of others. Third, as a result of examining the experiences of the finishing stage of group counseling, student teachers experienced increasing in recognition and acceptance of oneself, and identification of possibility for change. Fourth, as a result of examining application method of the experiences after group counseling, student teachers experienced practice of behavior change and thinking about application method of group counseling as a teacher. The result of this study is meaningful in that it provides basic information on guidance and strengthening counseling capacity for student teachers.

Unlike schools that provide the standardized education, the youth training centers are built and operated based on the environments and conditions of youths’ activities. Especially, youth center directors are asked to develop their capabilities in order to establish the directions of youth training center in a way to help local youths to become adults successfully and cultivate capabilities of youth leader. Thus, the current research suggests the capability model of youth center directors who play an important role in socializing teenager in the local communities, proposing the capability model composed of the five capability groups and 24 capabilities. In the spirit of activist group, there are five capabilities, including understanding youth culture, identifying new businesses, planning the programs, making facility-related decisions, and making major decisions. This capability model for youth center directors can be used as the reference for studies of capacity diagnosis, professional training etc.

The study aims to examine the mediating effects of sense of community on the relation between perceived parental attitude and multicultural acceptability in college freshman. This study analyzed 1,288 data of Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey. In this study, path analysis was used to examine the mediating effect of sense of community on the multicultural acceptability. Results showed that parental attitude and sense of community had direct effects on multicultural acceptability. And path analyses revealed that sense of community partially mediated the relationship between parental attitude and multicultural acceptability. These findings emphasized the importance of sense of community as a mediating mechanism in the association between parental attitude and multicultural acceptability. On the basis of the results, practical suggestions to increase the sense of community, positive parental attitude and multicultural acceptability of college freshman were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to examine the structural relations among psychological needs dissatisfaction, academic engagement and ego-resilience. This study investigated whether academic engagement mediates the otherwise direct effects that psychological needs dissatisfaction have on ego-resilience. Eight-hundred and ten students self-reported their psychological needs dissatisfaction, academic engagement and ego-resilience. A structural equation modeling analysis showed that even with the consideration of the direct effect of psychological engagement on ego-resilience, academic engagement fully mediated the relation between psychological need dissatisfaction and ego-resilience.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of university students’ social justice self-efficacy and social Inequality · Discrimination experience on career barriers. With carrier barriers as a dependent variable and social Inequality · Discrimination experience as an independent variable, the interactions among social injustice self-efficacy, social Inequality · Discrimination experience, and career barriers were examined, and the effects of social justice self-efficacy and social injustice Inequality · Discrimination experience on career barriers were investigated. For this, multiple regression analysis was carried out with faithful respondents of 328 students from universities in the C do region. The findings were as follows: First, social justice self-efficacy showed a positive correlation with social Inequality · Discrimination experience, and a negative correlation with career barriers, respectively. Social Inequality · Discrimination experience showed a positive correlation with career barriers. Second, it was found that social justice self-efficacy and social Inequality · Discrimination experience explain university students’ career barriers significantly. Social justice self-efficacy and social Inequality · Discrimination experience also explained significantly university students’ environmental career barriers and psychological career barriers. On the basis of the findings, the implications and limitations of the study were presented, and follow-up studies were suggested.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of basic psychological needs on adolescents perceived parental attachment and interpersonal orientation. For this, Jdo also used the questionnaire responses of 405 students in 4 middle schools 1 and 2 as an analysis data. The measurement tools used parent attachment, basic psychological needs, interpersonal orientation measure. The collected data were subjected to a multiple regression analysis to verify the mediating effect by three-step verification of Baron and Kenny (1986). Sobel test was performed to confirm the significance of the mediation effect. The results of the study are as follows. First, adolescents' perceived parental attachment, basic psychologicals needs, interpersonal orientation showed a significant positive correlation. Second, in the relationship between parent attachment and interpersonal orientation perceived by adolescents, total mediation effect of basic psychological needs was verified. Third, in the relationship between parent attachment and interpersonal orientation perceived by adolescents, autonomy and competence, which are sub-variables of basic psychological needs, were verified as full mediating effects and relatedness was verified as partial mediating effects.

This study examined an integrated model of self-regulation and hostile attributional bias as linking mechanisms of attachment quality and social adjustment with a sample of 1,364 families from the NICHD Study of Early Child Care and Youth Development. Results indicated that secure attachment at 36 months was associated with fewer behavioral problems and higher levels of social skills at grade 6 through the developmental continuity of self-regulation and via time-lagged effects from self-regulation to hostile attributional bias from grades 3, through 4, and 5. The findings highlight the utility of intrapersonal meditating processes in investigating the long term influence of early attachment. Also, we found significant second-order stability of self-regulation from grade 3 to grade 5 and significant association between attachment and self-regulation at grade 3. These results suggest that early attachment quality contributes to the developmental continuity of self-regulation through its effects on early self-regulatory capacity.

The purpose of this study is to understand the structural relationships among social achievement goals, rejection sensitivity and college adjustment. In this study, 207 college students were assessed by instrument for social achievement goals(social development goal, social demonstration-approach goal, social demonstration-avoid goal), rejection sensitivity, and college adjustment. The fitness and mediating effects of the research model were verified through structural equation modeling. The results of this study are as follows: First, social demonstration-approach goal and social demonstration-avoid goal. Second, social demonstration-approach goal and social demonstration-avoid goal predict negatively on college adjustment. Third, a structural equation modeling analysis showed that even with the consideration of the indirect effect of social demonstration-avoid goal, rejection sensitivity, and college adjustment. This study suggests that psychological variables such as the social relations need(rejection sensitivity) to be taken into consideration when grasping the relationship between social achievement goals and college adjustment.
