The object of this study is to spot the changes in middle school students sociality and self-image acquired during the period of group play therapy session after Group play therapy using figure was applied to the middle school students in community child center. In order to achieve the result 16 middle school students in community child center who had been suggested to attend this program for the lack of sociality. Based on preceding research this program was completed by having both play therapy experts ones check the validity of the contents. The program had total of 8 sessions, twice a week for 50 minutes. A before-after sociality scales and self-image scales was conducted to prove the effectiveness, as a result the significant changes appeared both in adolescent interaction behavior evaluation and in subjective observation procedure by researcher and assistant researcher. Statistically meaningful increase between the pre & post program tests. The group play therapy using figure affected the sociality and self-image of middle school students in community child center. And during the process of session, Group play therapy using figure showed positive change in improvement of sociality subordinate factors. Therefore, it is proved that the group play therapy using figure can improve the sociality and self-image of middle school students in community child center.

중학생의 성취목표지향성과 진로태도성숙의 관계에서 학습동기의 매개효과

This study examined the mediating effects of academic motivation on the relationship between achievement goal orientation and career attitude maturity of middle school students. The 417 participants were recruited from 4 middle schools in Jeolla-do and answered questionnaires in which their achievement goal orientation level, academic motivation level and career attitude maturity level were measured. Results revealed that; First, the analysis of correlational relationship between achievement goal orientation, academic motivation, and career attitude maturity showed that there was a significant correlation between the variables. Second, the link between achievement goal orientation and career attitude maturity was partially mediated by academic motivation. In the case of sub-factors of academic motivation, the link between achievement goal orientation and career attitude maturity was partially mediated by intrinsic motivation(challenge), extrinsic motivation(outward, compensation). On the other hand, the link between achievement goal orientation and career attitude maturity was not mediated by the intrinsic motivation(enjoyment). These results can be used to develop programs for middle school students’ career counseling and career guide. The implication of this result and suggestions for future study are discussed.

대학생의 불안정 성인애착이 우울에 미치는 영향 - 공동의존성의 매개효과 -

The purpose of this research was to verify the mediating effects of codependency in the relationship between insecure adult attachment and depression in university students. The total of 350 university students participated in the study. For this study, Experience in Close Relationships (ECR), Codependency and Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D) were used. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation modeling using SPSS and AMOS. The results were as follows. First, the results showed that there were significant positive correlations between insecure adult attachment(anxiety attachment, avoidant attachment), codependency and depression. Second codependency is mediated the relationship between insecure adult attachment and depression. specifically, codependency is fully mediated the relationship between anxiety attachment and depression. And codependency is fully mediated the relationship avoidant attachment and depression. In the end, implications for clinical practices and suggestion for future research are discussed.

A youth facility’s purpose is to promote the healthy development of youth based on their cultural desires and tendency for transformation. Since these facilities conduct lodging programs and corporate activities, there is always the risk of safety accidents. To reduce the likeliness of such accidents, it is vital to recognize and manage the hazards. According to a report analyzing past research, facilities are currently managing safety measures such as firefighting, construction, sanitation, and equipment. Moreover, they are striving to fix preceding problems. However, the frequency of accidents has recently been rising and so improved safety measures are necessary. Thus, the factors for accidents that could occur in the facilities are categorized into hazards, vulnerability, risk, and these are modularized in this study. In addition, a list of physical resources based on locations and programs are suggested. A matrix of a potential risks based on the analysis are directly presented, so that the hazards can be managed at a glance.

The purpose of this study was to analyse effects of early social support for adolescent pregnancy, birth and rearing children. This study utilized a part of National Youth Policy Institute’s ‘Research on the Actual Condition of the Adolescent Pregnancy, Birth and Rearing Children’. Participants of the study were 398 adolescent single-parents at the age of 24 and below who have experienced facility programs. In order to understand the effect, this study verified the moderating effect of facility program's support in the context of social exclusion and social network on depression level of adolescent single-parent. Results of this study are as follows ; First, adolescent single-parent was a part of disadvantaged group in the social exclusion, resulting from continuous lack of original family's structure and function of prepregnant. Second, social exclusion level and contact frequency, support and complication level in social network were related to depression level of adolescent single-parent. Lastly, the number and satisfaction of facility program were verified moderator variables on terms with social exclusion and social network on depression level of adolescent single-parent.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the impacts of academic stress of university students on their smartphone overdependence, and to examine the multiple mediating effects of their job-seeking stress and depression symptom over those impacts. In the study, 513 university students in Daegu and Gyeongbuk area were surveyed about their level of academic and job-seeking stress, depression symptom and smartphone overdependence. Major results were as followings. First, academic and job-seeking stress of university students could increase their depression symptoms and smartphone overdependence directly and/or indirectly. Second, the university students’ job-seeking stress and depression symptoms had significant multiple mediating effects over the impacts of the academic stress on their smartphone overdependence. In detail, the university students’ academic stress could increase their job-seeking stress, and then the increased job-seeking stress could exacerbate depression symptoms and, finally the exacerbated depression symptoms could aggravate their smatphone overdependence. The results of the study indicate that psychological and emotional problems such as academic and job-seeking stress, and depression symptoms should be considered when developing prevention and remediation programs of university students’ smartphone overdependence.

This study aims to figure out what adolescents' empathetic factors of fantasy text are and what implied meanings those have. Based on the qualitative analysis of the viewer's responses, a series of in-depth interviews was conducted on the ten adolescent participants. From the analysis, four empathetic factors were discovered as follows: 'a goblin and a samsin granma -an empathy on the post-modern myth', 'a death god-an empathy on the death fantasy', 'a bride of goblin--an empathy on the comfort for life', 'a teleportation door to Canada-the middled space between reality and fantasy'.

교사체벌이 학교생활 불성실 행동에 미치는 영향 - 교사지지와 학교인식의 이중매개효과 검증 -

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of corporal punishment among students on their unfaithful behaviors. Furthermore, double mediation effects of teacher support and perception to school were examined. For this study, Korean Youth Policy Institute(NYPI)'s 2013 cross-sectional data for youths' human rights state was used. The subjects of this study were 9,521 male and female students national wide who are enaged in 4th ~ 12th grade. To verify research model, Process Macro analysis and bootstrapping was conducted. Key findings are as follows: First, teachers' corporal punishment was positively associated with students' unfaithful behaviors. At the same time, corporal punishment was negatively associated with teacher support as well as school perception. Both teacher support and perception to school were negatively associated with unfaithful behaviors. By the research result, direct effect of corporal punishment to unfaithful behaviors and indirect effects through teacher support, school perception and both were statistically significant. That means, teacher support and school perception are working as partial mediators, and there is a double mediation effect in research model. Based on these findings, necessities for intervention on corporal punishment, teacher support, school perception were suggested.

The purpose of this study was to test the moderating effect of mother’s psychological control and mediating effect of rejection sensitivity on a relationship between adolescent’s relational victimization and interpersonal anxiety. 353 middle school students were subject to this study. For data analysis, frequency, Cronbach's α, t-test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression were used. The results were as follows: first, female teens showed higher relational victimization, interpersonal anxiety and rejection sensitivity than their male counterparts. Second, mother's psychological control moderated the relationships between adolescent’s relational victimization and interpersonal anxiety in the case of female students. Third, rejection sensitivity partially mediated the relationships between relational victimization and interpersonal anxiety of students of both gender. Above results suggest that it is important to decrease adolescent’s relational victimization, mother's psychological control and rejection sensitivity for the sake of releasing adolescent’s interpersonal anxiety.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the differences of the mathematics anxiety in upper-grade elementary school students according to the Grades and Gender, and to find out which mathematics anxiety causes have more influence on mathematic achievement and how much it is. For this purposes, the problem of this study as follows; firstly, are there any differences in the mathematics anxiety according to the Gender? secondly, are there any differences in the mathematics anxiety according to the Grades? thirdly, are there any relationship between mathematics anxiety and mathematic achievement according to Grades? lastly, is rhe are there any ematics anxiety and mathematic achievement according to Grades? The subjects of this study consisted of 127 4th graders, 132 5th graders, 131 6th graders, selected for a class of unit, in public elementary schools located in Seoul, Korea. In this study, for children's mathematics anxiety, Lee(2000)'s mathematics anxiety Scale was used. The collected data were analyzed by using the 22.0 SPSS program. The data were also tested by using the t-test, correlation and multiple regression. The major results of this study were as follows; First, mathematics anxiety have none significant difference according to the Gender. Secondly, mathematics anxiety have a significantly difference according to the Grades. Thirdly, mathematics anxiety and mathematic achievement have significantly relationship each other. Lastly, the multiple regression analyses demonstrated that the mathematics anxiety's sub factors were the significant predictors of the mathematic achievement.

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in charge of youth affairs should not only propose and provide directions for the establishment of national youth facilities but also test the available facilities to calculate the scale of future projects to set up additional youth establishments. To unify the changes in youth training activities so far and prepare for future changes in youth training facilities, new directions for specialization must be established when setting up future facilities. In addition, a list containing the type, quantity, and basic minimum requirements of national youth facilities, including mid- and long-term expansion plans and operation activation plans, must be prepared. This study is aimed at exploring the current state of national youth facility operations and demonstrating their necessity and validity. By doing this, we suggest allocation plans and patterns for the mid- and long-term establishment of further national youth facilities.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the types of conflict resolution by clustering the children depending on how they used and combined the strategies of compromise & cooperation, avoidance, concession, and domination in conflict with a best friend. Also, this study reviewed differences in friendship quality and self-esteem according to the types of conflict resolution. The subjects were 580 children(302 boys and 278 girls) who were 5th and 6th grade in elementary schools in Busan. The main findings through this study are as follows: first, the types of children's conflict resolution within a friendship were classified as dominance- oriented type, compromise & cooperation-oriented type, multistrategy-avoidance dodging type, multistrategy- dominance dodging type, multistrategy-active type and nonstrategy–passive type. Secondly, there were significant differences in both friendship quality and children’s self-esteem according to the types of conflict resolution. The type of multistrategy-avoidance dodging showed the best friendship quality and the highest self-esteem, whereas the type of nonstrategy-passive showed the worst friendship quality and the lowest self-esteem. Therefore, to improve children's adjustment, the multistrategy-avoidance dodging type are recommended.

전문대학생들의 창의성과 자기주도 학습능력의 관계에서 학업적 자기효능감의 매개효과

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among creativity, academic self-efficacy and self-directed learning ability and to explore the mediating role of academic self-efficacy between creativity and self-directed learning ability. The subjects of this study were 244 college students who responded faithfully to creativity, academic self-efficacy, and self-directed learning ability tests. The collected data were analyzed using ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, regression analysis, and Sobel test. The major findings of this study were as follows : First, third year students of college have significantly higher creativity, academic self- efficacy, and self-directed learning ability than the first grade students. In addition, students with high academic achievement showed significantly higher levels of creativity, academic self-efficacy, and self-directed learning ability than students with low achievement. Second, the results also showed that there was a significant positive correlation among the creativity, academic self-efficacy, and self-directed learning ability. Third, there was partial mediating effect of academic self-efficacy in the relationship between creativity and self-directed learning ability. The results suggest that academic self-efficacy and creative personality need to be utilized for improving self-directed learning ability focusing on college freshman with low level of academic achievement.

Children and adolescents experience the fastest emotional and physical changes in the lifetime. Disorders in children and adolescents have a close relation to chronic diseases in the old age. Providing efficient health care services during children and adolescents plays an important role improvement of the quality of life, thereby reduces the social costs of health care. Public district hospitals are one of the most effective facilities for providing enough healthcare services to children and adolescents in local communities. However, there are many difficulties in providing efficient healthcare services for young children in the community due to the limited healthcare programs and outdated facilities. Nevertheless, there is currently insufficient study on the status of the pediatrics in public district hospitals. Therefore, this study aims to provide an analysis data regarding the operation status of the pediatrics in public district hospitals.

The purpose of this study was to established a plan to revitalize youth culture activities in Seoul. Specific goals are as 1) to examined the need for youth 's cultural activities experience, 2) to analyzed the participation conditions and constraints of youth 's cultural activities The results of the study were summarized as follows; First, youth were felt that there was not enough time for cultural activities Second, the appropriateness of the cultural space recognized by adolescents is still insufficient, and the number of people using facilities and places is very limited. Third, youth perception about youth facilities is absent. Fourth, there is a need for opportunities for young people to actively accept information. Fifth, support for the cultural cost of youth is needed.

The art museum of Kanazawa was built to nurture youth talent who will shoulder the future of the region. Various programs have been prepared to provide artistic experience for traditional culture and art. It aims to guide youths toward a wide range of perspectives, plenty of emotions, and considerate hearts. Kanazawa Museum is the 4th museum of the post museum. The goal is to enhance the value of the gallery and the intangible value that visitors experience, thereby creating a creative place for the future. It is the place where visitors can be provided with the opportunity to organize their own consciousness and discover their identity, and create a new value by becoming the subject of the act. Existing exhibition programs were reorganized into an experience program so that visitors and exhibitions can form a more intimate relationship. By transforming the existing concept of art galleries, the boundaries between visitors and exhibitions have been designed to create an art museum with unlimited possibilities, more flexibility, more flexible, and more visible views.

The purpose of this study is to design group counseling program to enhance communication skills for working parents and their children in early elementary school, and to verify the effectiveness of designed program. The process of program development was done in five steps of systematic counseling program development model(Park, 1995). In the research step, various previous studies were investigated and research of demand was conducted with 63 students. In the analysis step, objectives of programs, session-specific goals, and the number of sessions were determined based on the results of the investigation phase. In the design and development step, activities were made based on the objectives and goals, and they were modified and supplemented through the consultation process by experts and practitioners, and finally final program was developed. In the application phase, 28 people(14 parents 14 students) in Ulsan Metropolitan City were placed and treated in the experimental group 14 parents-students and in the control group 14 parents-students. They were conducted Parent-Adolescent Communication Inventory Test before and after the program, and it was analyzed by independent t-test and paired t-test. Results of the analysis, changes in communication skills of the experimental group was significantly different from the control group. Therefore, group counseling program for enhancing communication skills of working parents-children in this study showed that group counseling program has a positive impact on improving the ability of communication skills for working parents and their children.

학교 밖 청소년의 진로장벽과 진로준비행동의 관계 - 희망의 조절효과 -

The purpose of this study is to verify the Moderating effects of hope in the relationship between out-of-school adolescents’ career barrier and career preparation behavior. This study examined the interaction between career barrier and hope and its effects on career preparation behavior by selecting career barrier (psychological career barrier and environmental career barrier) and hope (pathway thinking and agency thinking) as a predicting variable and a moderating variable, respectively. To this end, hierarchical analysis was conducted targeting 220 out-of-school adolescents who agreed on and diligently responded to the research. As a result of the study, first, career preparation behavior showed a significantly negative (-) correlation with psychological career barrier, a significantly positive (+) correlation with hope, and no significant correlation with environmental career barrier. Second, pathway thinking and agency thinking turned out to moderate the relationship between out-of-school adolescents’ psychological career barrier and career preparation behavior. In addition, pathway thinking was found to moderate the relationship between environmental career barrier and career preparation behavior. Based on the results, implications and limitations of the study were suggested, and then a follow-up study was proposed.

This purposed of this was to investigate the relations among empathic ability, school life adjustment, life satisfaction in adolescents and to examine the mediation effect of life satisfaction. The subjects of study were 329 high school students(182 male students and 147 female students) in Seoul-Incheon area. They were assessed by the empathic ability scale, the school life adjustment scale and the life satisfaction scale. To examine the mediating effect, correlation analysis and regression analysis of the data collected through this was conducted. The findings of the study were as follows: First, there were significant positive correlations between empathic ability and life satisfaction. Second, there were significant positive correlations between empathic ability and school life adjustment. Third, there were significant positive correlations between life satisfaction and school life adjustment. Fourth, a partly mediating effect of life satisfaction was found on between empathic ability and school life adjustment of adolescents. These results suggest that life satisfaction is an important variable for assisting school life adjustment and it is important for intervention to improve life satisfaction. Finally, implications and limitations of the study were discussed.

This study aimed to examine the mediating effects of prosocial behavior in the relation between youth participation and sense of community in adolescents. Using the data of 485 adolescents residing in W region, this study used the structural equation model to see the mediating effect of prosocial behavior on the sense of community. According to the results, prosocial behavior had direct effects on sense of community. And mediated by prosocial behavior, youth participation had indirect effect on sense of community. This study examined the mediating effect of prosocial behavior on sense of community of adolescents, which can be the significance of this study in terms of overcoming the limit of presenting direct effects of factors on sense of community. On the basis of the results, practical suggestions to increase the youth participation, prosocial behavior and sense of community of adolescents were discussed.
