청소년활동 재정립에 관한 연구

Purpose of this study is to consider the concept of youth activity as a new dimension, which promotes equal youth development, different from other existing activities such as training activity, cultural activity, or exchange activity. The research results are as follows. First, the purpose of youth activity should focus on how to develop youth competency as an inner capability of the youth. Second, youth activity as humane growth is a component helpful for the youth's internal and external competency. Third, to offer a clear meaning of equal youth growth provided in the Youth Basic Law and the Youth Activity Promotion Law, by suggesting the concept of youth activity as youth competency, components and details of youth competencies were devised with conceptual meanings.

This study is to compare the perception of teachers for employment on a part-time jobs of youth to business owners. To do this, a questionnaire was distributed to 156 teachers and 210 business owners. 380 questionnaires were returned and 366 of them(156 from teachers, 210 from business owners), were analyzed. There are two research questions: the first one is to ask them the differences in their knowledge on work regulations for youth part-time jobs; the second is those in their perception on unfair experience of youth in place of employment. As a result of study, there were significant statistical differences of knowledge on work regulations between two groups(teachers for employment were 71.2 point and business owners were 63.2p). And teachers for employment more negative recognized that youth were doing unfair experience in place of employment than that of business owners. In addition some remarks on practices in the field as well as limitations of this study were indicated.

This study examined the effects of patterns of career choice and sub-factors of the career indecision on adaptation to the college life. The subjects of this study were the 481 college students. The result of this study are as follows: First, negative correlation was represented between career decision and adaptation to college life. Second, the results from hierarchical multiple regression analysis indicated that the patterns of career choice and sub-factors of career indecision explained 7% and 18% respectively on adaptation to the college life. In perspective of life career development, all processes related to career are not the matter to be able to decide at one moment, but it exists as a process. Particularly, college is important time for students to select and to decide the career. Although a career is already fixed, intervention counseling need to be provided effectively for college students by considering the patterns of career choice and sub-factors of career indecision. This study was suggested that it is important to implement the systematic career guidance from elementary, middle and high school days in order to allow them to perform much stable career activities in the important time to select and decide a career. Based on these results, implications and limitations were discussed.

The main purpose of the study was to examine the effect of relationship with parents, peer and teacher on academic self-efficacy and achievement motivation in early and middle adolescence. In addition, this study examined the relative importance of those relationships and changing process of those relationships from early to middle adolescence. 465(253 male, 212 female) students in 1st grade of two middle schools and 2nd grade of two high schools at M city in Jeonnam province participated in this study. Although correlation between relationship with parents and academic self-efficacy was stronger for early adolescents than middle adolescents, the correlation between relationship with teacher, peer and academic self-efficacy in early adolescence did not significantly differ from the correlation in late adolescence. The correlation between relationship with parents and achievement motivation was stronger for early adolescents than middle adolescents while the correlation between relationship with teacher and achievement motivation was stronger for middle adolescents than early adolescents. However, the correlation between relationship with peer and achievement motivation in early adolescence did not significantly differ from the correlation in late adolescence. Related to relative effects of relationship with parents, teacher, and peer on academic self-efficacy, relationship with parents had the greatest effects on academic self-efficacy followed by relationship with teacher in early adolescence. Related to relative effects of relationship with parents, teacher, and peer on achievement motivation, relationship with parents had the greatest effects on achievement motivation followed by relationship with teacher in early adolescence. Relationship with teacher had the greatest effects on achievement motivation followed by relationship with peer in middle adolescence.

북한이탈청소년 대안학교의 운영특성에 관한 연구

Most North Korean youth defectors who immigrate into South Korea enter general schools, but many of them drop out in midstream because of learning gap, age difference, discrimination, and prejudice. In fact, they have difficulties in adaptation to curriculum in competitive Korea. There are alternative schools which help conquer the limitation in public education and offer the youth not only student-made education at level, but also society-adaptive programs. This article tries to investigate operational organizations, educational activities and the life-world in alternative schools for young North Korean defectors, using Content Analysis and in-depth interviews. Results showed revealed were as follow. First, organizational management characteristics were preference to North Korean youth defectors at their high teens or twenties and direction to small schools. Second, education activity characteristics were education aims for social unity, school classification with learning-centered type and culture & experience-centered type, systematic curriculum offer and leveling education. Third, the characteristics of living world were horizontal relationship between teachers and students, empathizing through friendship, long wait for trust, teachers’ passion. Alternative schools helped youth defectors in the aspects of management organization, education activities, and living world. But education services are laid upon, and the schools cannot offer various services necessary for the North Korean youth defectors. On the purpose of solving the problems, this study, as a development plan, suggested integrated services–type alternative schools.

현실치료를 적용한 진로집단상담 프로그램이 비행청소년의 진로성숙도, 진로정체감, 성취동기에 미치는 영향

The main purpose of the study was to examine effects of reality therapy career group counseling on career maturation, career identity, and achievement motivation of juvenile delinquents. 30 students recommended by M gun office of education in Jeonnam province participated in this study. All of them had took part in special program supervised by We center in M gun office of education because of their misconducts. They consisted of 2nd and 3rd grade of middle school students. 15 students participated as experimental group and the other 15 students participated as control group. They completed Career Maturation Questionnaire, Career Identity Questionnaire, and Achievement Motivation Questionnaire. The results were as follows: first, reality therapy career group counseling was proven to be effective for the improvement of juvenile delinquents' career maturation. All the subscales of career maturation showed significant differences between pretest and posttest among experimental group while only one subscale(attitude toward work) of career maturation showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest among control group. Second, reality therapy career group counseling was proven to be effective for the improvement of juvenile delinquents' career identity. All the subscales of career identity showed significant differences between pretest and posttest among experimental group while none of subscales of career identity showed significant differences between pretest and posttest among control group. Third, reality therapy career group counseling was proven to be effective for the improvement of juvenile delinquents' achievement motivation. In the experimental group, there was a significant difference between pretest and posttest while in the control group, there was not a significant difference between pretest and posttest.

This thesis has the goal of analyzing the education and welfare first support industry targeted school children centered guarding cause and harming cause, behavior intent and psychological social activities. The results of the investigating research hypothesis through analysis is as below. First, the effects of personal guarding causes and harming causes on behavior intent was higher on the poor family students than on normal family students, and an intent to move was higher as grades got higher. Second, the intent to move lowered as democratic child-rearing attitudes were taken toward the effects of family guarding causes and harming causes to behavior intent. Third, the students' intent to move and disregard lowered as relationships with friends and as support of teachers as societal guarding causes and harming causes effect gets better, and students' intent to move rose as the number of nearby minus environments and exposure to internet rose. Fourth, as the effect of behavior intent to psychological society behavior, as the intent to move and disregard heightened, societal atrophy and depression and anxiety was felt greatly, misbehavior and aggressive activities were frequent, social ability lowered, and the social ability rose as intent to protest and devote rose. Fifth, the effects of personal, family, societal guarding and harming causes on psychological society behavior is that as self-efficiency rises, social atrophy, depression and anxiety lowers, and as impulsiveness rises, societal atrophy rises as well. Sixth, the effects of psychological society behavior by behavior intent mediated effect as personal, family, societal guarding and harming causes is that the nearby minus environments has a mediating effect on the intent to move and disregard, and have an effect on depression and anxiety.

청소년이 지각한 부모 양육태도가 청소년 분노 및 학교폭력에 미치는 영향

The purpose for this study was to determine the influences on the anger and school violence of adolescents according to the perceived parent's rearing attitude. Data were collected from 650 high schools and middle schools students residing in Korea. The statistic analysis of this study employed SPSSWIN 18.0, the main methods of statistics were frequency analysis, t-test, F-test one-way ANOVA, multiple stepwise regression, and optimal scaling regression. The result certified through this study is as following. The influence of the perceived parent's rearing attitude on the anger of the adolescents proved that the variables associated with anger management explained 7.5%, anger expression explained 8.2% and anger control explained 10.2% of total variation. Regarding the perceived parent's rearing attitude of adolescents related to anger type, the students identified with the area where anger management as "over-expectation β=.274", anger expression as "abuse β=.265" and anger control as "rational explanation β=.184" showed relatively higher point. The influence of the perceived parent's rearing attitude on the school violence of the adolescents proved that the variables associated with bully explained 16.2%, victim explained 6.2% of total variation. With regard to the perceived parent's rearing attitude of adolescents related to the school violence type, the students identified with the area where bully explained as "abuse β=.238", victim explained as "integrated β=.192" showed relatively higher point.

The purpose of this study is to suggest fundamental strategy for new national youth facilities which are the hub of youth activities in Korea. For the guide line for the master plan of the national youth facilities, there should be prepared the national youth facility long term policies and the plans. Additionally, in order to invigorate youth activities at the level of national policy, expansion of state-run national youth facility or measures of supports for invigorating youth facility are needed. In particular, for the social changes in the near future, there should be a master plan for realms of specialization of national youth facility diversified. To do this, it should be constructed national youth facilities distributed to the provinces in order to develop the national land equally, to be prepared for guiding and controlling of the national youth facilities.

This study investigated how heavy academic and academic burnout relate and examined the mediating effects of self-esteem on the relationships between heavy academic of elementary school students and academic burnout. The subjects were a total of 261 students attending sixth grade students of elementary schools located in Gyeonggi-do, Incheon, Seoul and Chungcheong-do. The reliability analysis of descriptive statistics and measure in regard to the subordinate variables was conducted. Pearson’s product moment correlation analysis was conducted in order to identify relationships between research variables. In addition, the mediated model of self-esteem between heavy academic and academic burnout was verified by using the structural equation. The results of the study are as follows: First, there was a significant moderate negative correlation between heavy academic and self-esteem, Second, there was a significant moderate positive correlation between heavy academic and academic burnout, Third, there was a significant moderate negative correlation between self-esteem and academic burnout, and Fourth, it was shown that in the process through which heavy academic was influencing academic burnout, self-esteem had a part mediation effect.

광주광역시 어린이집 원장의 포괄적 보육서비스에 대한 인식과 수행정도에 관한 연구

Recently, there are many discussions about comprehensive child care services since it has implemented at Samsung Child Care Center in 1999, in Korea. So, this study was to investigate the child care center directors' awareness and implementation of comprehensive child care services. The subject of this study were 50 directors of child care center in Gwangju City, the data were analyzed with SPSS WIN (ver17.0) program, and the descriptive analysis was used in this study. The results were as follows: Most respondents acknowledged well about comprehensive child care services and thought that it is very important while they were not inclined to implement comprehensive child care services at their child care center. The respondents' score of implementation of comprehensive child care services was 67 out of 100, which was lower than expected. Most respondents indicate that the reason why comprehensive child care services have not implemented in every child care center is the financial problems to hire the person who take full responsibility of it. Closing this study, we expect that comprehensive child care services would be spread out at every child care center, soon.

Students and the population does not change the same. Students forecast methodology depending on the local & social environment are difficult. Therefore, this study calculated the number of students thought to have the most impact on the local environment by the ratio of apartments and homes into five regional types in Daegu Metropolitan Area. The following conclusions were drawn. First, the percentage of population by age are dominated by the proportion of the apartments and homes. 7-12 age population should be calculated according to the proportion of the apartments and homes. Second, regional population & 7-12 age population estimate by the composition ratio & number of apartments and homes on the regional types. Third, percentage of 7-12 age population in the the same regional types can be a very big difference by other environmental factors-scale apartment complexes, residential unit size, etc.-.Fourth, the student capacity in the existing school facilities and 7-12 age population does not match. Therdfore relocation of school facilities can be seen that very need.

Due to the low birthrate and highly developed medical technology, the portion of senior citizens in the population of Korea and the number of unused classrooms in school facility are increasing. However, elderly welfare facilities are insufficient for the needs of society, and unused classrooms are not being used. The purpose of this dissertation is to suggest ways to make efficient use of unused classrooms in school facilities by integrating with elderly welfare facilities. The purpose of this dissertation is to suggest the ways to make efficient use of unused classrooms in school facilities by integrating with elderly welfare facilities. In the integration of school facilities with elderly welfare facilities, various demands of both generations must be reflected and in particular, in the case of elderly welfare facilities, they must be planned to satisfy characteristics and demands. Therefore, this dissertation can be utilized as an alternative for an integrated plan where exchanges between both generations can be actively promoted by finding out and understanding theories about integration of unused classrooms in school facilities with elderly welfare facilities.

This study proposes a architectural plan to establish a seaside youth marine life experience center, a project long desired by the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education. Key factors considered in the plan are regional characteristics and conditions, and the plan aims include various cultural and educational programs for youth suited for demands of the changing times. Also, consideration was given to actively use outdoor spaces to enable youth to experience both various marine life experience activities and training/adventure activities. The results of this study are as follows. First, the plan creates environmentally-friendly and streamlined spaces that accommodate the natural landscape and opens views through a cross-sectional plan that considers the highs and lows of the existing land. Second, buildings with similar shapes were concentrated on the same plane for the efficient linking of buildings and natural connections between walking paths. Third, the cafeteria and auditorium was placed on the ground floor to maximize the connection with the halls and exhibition spaces and for the convenience of users. Fourth, student and teacher dormitories were separated and placed independently but placed to be mutually connected to provide independence to the teacher dormitory and simultaneously allow efficient management of students. Finally, a landmark image that represents the Gwangju Seaside Youth Training Center was expressed through a linear landscaping plan.

This study is about the conceptualization of interior design principles based on the characteristics of teenagers to plan the remodeling of residential space which is shown when new needs are raised for a family’s living space. And its results can be summed up as below: This paper substitutes the keywords of teenager characteristics to general design principles established in consideration of the correlation. According to the conceptualization based on the research and analysis on the needs of teenagers regarding their preferences for residential space, it was conceptualized with division and arrangement as proportion, emphasis and assimilation as unity and variation, emptying and filling as harmony and contrast, assembly and disassembly as balance, and overlapping and segmentation as rhythm. This study is significant in that it provides foundational data to conceptualize interior design considering the characteristics of teenagers in order to plan the remodeling of residential space and form residential culture where teenagers can grow in fresh and desirable residential environment.

Despite the fact that the leisure time for the youths is increasing, most youths are quiet and doing their personal activity, so they are not comparatively spending much time actively. There needs to be a societal system and supporting space where the youths can participate in various activities such as in culture or sports after weekday lessons or during the weekends. As an off-campus and social educational institution, Children's Palace is of great significance in nurturing people, creating social benefits and improving talent performance in socialist countries. It is becoming more and more influential in many cities across the country due to the increasing focus on public quality education of the next generation. However, research into the designing of Children's Palace construction is quite limited. The purpose of this study is to comparatively analyze the youth center in Korea and children's palace in China for spatial composition characteristics. It is hoped that the study will serve as an effective beacon for those who devise Children's Palace for the youths, contribute to improving qualitatively the life quality of the youths and correspond with the true welfare for the youths in society.
