The purpose of this study was to derive considerations for establishing a strategy for physical assets utilization within university and establishing a university shared environment for the flagship national university to function as an active platform in the local community. For this purpose, this study analyzed space-sharing activities between universities and local communities and reviewed the legal and institutional grounds for university space-sharing. Currently, Korean national universities have a legal basis for operating land or buildings on their income under the University Accounting Act; however, except for commercial renting, most university space-sharing is now focused on students, faculty, and staff's use. Also, Korean national universities already established a space-sharing platform that allows outsiders to access using KORUS, a national university administrative and financial system. But the academic management system is not linked to KORUS, there is a limitation that all information needs to be typed and managed manually. Therefore, this study suggests organizing a separate organization in charge of space rental and space management and upgrading the KORUS system.

The main purpose of the study was to examine the mediating effects of parent attachment and peer attachment on the relationship between negative life events and problem behavior among adolescents in institutional care. The subjects were 472 adolescents in 75 group homes and in 12 care institutions in Jeonbuk, Jeonnam province and G metropolitan city. The data were analyzed using SPSSWIN 27.0 program and SPSS Process macro program. In order to verify the significance of the mediation effect, bootstrapping was conducted. The results were as follows: First, life events of adolescents in institutional care were not significantly correlated to both internalizing and externalizing problems whereas violent events of adolescents in institutional care were positively correlated to both internalizing and externalizing problems. Moreover parents attachment, and peer attachment of adolescents in institutional care were negatively correlated to both internalizing and externalizing problems. Second, parent attachment and peer attachment of adolescents in institutional care had partial mediating effects between violent events and internalizing problems. However parent attachment of adolescents in institutional care had full mediating effects between violent events and externalizing problems whereas peer attachment had partial mediating effects.

This study explored the advantages and disadvantages according to the‘residential pattern’of the youth who were discharged from the facility. Participants were 19 people who were discharged from the child care facilities. The data analysis induced 18 topics (5 related to advantage and 13 related to disadvantage) based on five residential patterns: Living with those who were also discharged from the facilities was ‘cost-effective’ and ‘collapsed together’. Living alone in a rented room was ‘unstable’ and ‘satisfied with receiving housing benefits’. Child care facilities (extension of protection) were ‘psychological stability’, ‘limitations of language training and leave of absence from school’ and ‘life discipline’. Independent living centers have been found to be ‘can save money’, ‘can get management and support’ and ‘can't play as much as I want’. Houses provided by the Korea Land & Housing Corporation(LH) were found to be ‘low cost of housing’, ‘restrictions on eligibility and timing of applications’ and ‘can be misguided’. Permanent lease among houses provided by LH was found to ‘take time to permit’ and ‘poor housing conditions due to aging’. Lease on a deposit basis for children without parents among houses provided by LH was found to be ‘unable to continue residence’, ‘the landlord is reluctant due to complicated procedures’ and ‘I don't like it even if I find it difficult’. Based on the results of the study, a policy proposal was made to support the discharged youth.

This study verified the effect of non-face-to-face DBT skill training program on dysfunctional thinking, social avoidance and distress, and social interaction anxiety of college students. Twenty university students enrolled in a university located in City G were selected for this study. Ten students were assigned to each of the experimental and control group. The subjects in the experimental group participated in a non-face-to-face DBT skill training group program for 120 minutes once a week, for a total of 8 sessions. In order to confirm the difference between the experimental group and the control group, pre-tests and post-tests were conducted, and a follow-up test was conducted 4 weeks after the end of the program. The result of the study showed that dysfunctional thinking, social avoidance and distress, and social interaction anxiety were significantly reduced only in the experimental group. In the case of dysfunctional thinking and social avoidance and distress, there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores and the pre-test and follow up scores. On the other hand, in the case of social interaction anxiety, unlike other scales, it showed a more significant difference in post-test and follow up scores, as well as in pre-test and post-test scores and pre-test and follow up scores. This study is significant in that it confirmed that the DBT skill training program developed to treat borderline personality disorder was also effective in treating anxiety. Finally, methods and directions for further research were proposed.

The purpose of this study is to develop an app-based program that can effectively design and operate the overall career design process and analyze its effects in order to strengthen the career design competency of university students. This study was carried out through the following step-by-step research process. First, in order to derive practical and effective direction of career design App program, focus group interviews were conducted with the staff of the university career center. Second, the App program was structured in three stages and detailed contents were developed. Third, a survey was conducted to investigate the overall perception and satisfaction of university students for the developed App program. Fourth, in order to verify the effect through application of the App program, a self-description on the experience of using the program was conducted for university students who used the program. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the App-based career design program was effective in developing career design competencies. Based on the results, it is expected that the basic data will be provided for the development of online-based education programs to strengthen the career design competencies of university students.

Various aspects of people’s lives interact with space. Especially the space in which teenagers who establish their identity live is very influential and important as it is a space in a time of establishing identity. As adolescent students' lives are biased toward education, they spend most of their time in school. However, schools are not providing students with a pleasant environment due to uniform space or aging environments. Problems with these spaces can cause stress, fatigue, etc. to students. Through biophilic design, which helps relieve stress, the school space can be planned as a healing space. This improves the quality of the space where students stay for a long time, improving the overall environmental atmosphere and achieving stress relief at the same time. Survey of actual high school students on how often they stay in high school spaces and their preferences for biophilic design. Based on the results, we can expect what biophilic design elements can be applied to space in high school to provide the most effective stress-healing effect for students.

This study aimed to suggest performance-based fire egress planning at the youth ward in the general hospital. Required Safety Egress Time (RSET) was measured with egress simulation at the individual analysis node, and Allowed Safety Egress Time (ASET) was measured with fire simulation. Fire egress performance was analyzed with the time difference between two measures, and the study found weak egress spaces showing less Allowed Safety Egress Time than Required Safety Egress Time. According to the analysis result, reduction of visibility distance among Life Safety Standard components affected the reduction of fire egress performance. In addition, the study clarified that adult assistant’s egress performance was decreased when youth patient’s egress performance was decreased. For decreasing Required Safety Egress Time, architectural space planning providing additional horizontal escape routes and vertical ones is suggested. For increasing Allowed Safety Egress Time, the installation of equipment and control devices is also suggested.
