청소년동반자 상담활동이 청소년의 애착증진에 미치는 영향

This study defined the short-term longitudinal influence of counselling activity with youth's companion upon improving attachment of the youth. The subjects were 54 youth clients aged from 9 to 18, who took counsel in practice. The attachment for their mother was measured right after the first, forth and tenth session respectively. Data from the measurements were analyzed by using ANOVA. There was a statistically significant increase on the level of trust(p=.034), alienation(p=.035), which are subordinate factors of mother-attachment, and total score on mother-attachment(p=.029) at the fourth and tenth sessions compared to those at the first session. However, the level of communication increased at the fourth and tenth sessions than at the first session, it was not statistically significant though. As a result, counselling a youth with a companion has a positive effect on increasing the level of attachment to its mother. Based on the result, the meanings and limits of this study were discussed and potential following researches are suggested.

학교 하위체계요인이 청소년의 학교폭력 경험과 학교폭력 태도에 미치는 영향

This study examined relationship between school system factors( relationship with teacher, teacher’s attitude toward violence, peer aggregation, experience of peer delinquency, and school environment), school violence experience(experience of bullying and victimization) and school violence attitude(permissive, bullying & victimized, and indifferent) and examined the effects of school system factors on school violence experience and school violence attitude. The subjects were 537(275 male, 282 female) students in 1st and 2nd grade middle schools at M city in Jeonnam province. They completed questionnaires on school system factors, School Violence Experience Questionnaires, and School Violence Attitude Questionnaire. Statistical analyses of data were frequency, mean, standard deviation, t-test, Pearson Correlation, and multiple Regression. Cronbach's alpha was computed for the reliability of the scales. SPSSWIN 21.0 was used for data analysis. The results were as follows: First, school system factors(relationship with teacher, teacher’s attitude toward violence, peer aggregation, experience of peer delinquency, and school enviornment) were positively correlated to school violence experience. Relationship with teacher was negatively correlated to experience of school bullying and victimization. Second, school system factors were significantly correlated to school violence attitude. Relationship with teacher was negatively correlated to permissive attitude, bullying & victimized attitude, and indifferent attitude. Teachers’ attitude toward violence was positively correlated to all three attitudes. Both peer aggregation and experience of peer delinquency were positively correlated to all three attitudes. School environment was negatively correlated to all three attitudes. Third, peer aggregation, experience of peer delinquency, and school environment had influences on experience of bullying as well as experience of victimization. Relationship with teacher, teachers’ attitude toward violence, peer aggregation, and school environment had influences on permissive attitude and relationship with teacher, teachers’ attitude toward violence, peer aggregation had influences on bullying and victimized attitude. Also, relationship with teacher, peer aggregation, and school environment had influences on indifferent attitude.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of family structure and economic status on adolescent delinquency, exploring the pathways through parenting style, adolescent’s self-resilience, depression and aggression. This study employed the 4th wave data from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS) which was administered by the National Youth Policy Institute and the samples were 1,972 first graders in high schools. The results of this study were as follows. Family structure directly affected adolescent delinquency. While family’s economic status did not have a direct effect on adolescent delinquency, it directly and indirectly affected parenting style, adolescent’s self-resilience, depression and aggression. In particular, family structure and economic status had direct effects on parenting style, and also parenting style had direct and indirect effects on adolescent’s depression and aggression as well as his/her self-resilience. Finally aggression had a positive effect on his/her delinquency. Based on these results, the policy and practical implications for supporting single-parent and/or low-income families, promoting adolescent’s mental health, and preventing and/or reducing adolescent delinquency were also discussed.

This study examines how BMI, body image, and body dissatisfaction influence appearance gender role stereotypes in adolescents. 418 adolescents were asked to respond to items regarding a number of variables. To analyze the effects of BMI, body image (appearance evaluation, appearance orientation), and body dissatisfaction on appearance gender role stereotypes, AMOS 18.0 was utilized for path analysis. Moreover, these results suggest future directions of education and programs which may be helpful for adolescents who exhibited appearance gender role stereotypes and show the systematic process of the effects of BMI, body image, and body dissatisfaction on appearance gender role stereotypes. As a result of this analysis, all of 5 paths were categorized as significant and the variables of four areas all influenced either directly or indirectly on the question of appearance gender role stereotypes. The findings of this study indicate that body dissatisfaction is an important predictor of appearance gender role stereotypes and BMI and appearance evaluation and orientation and body dissatisfaction were observed to have direct effects as well as indirect effects on levels of appearance gender role stereotypes. The implication of this study is that body dissatisfaction can be one of the crucial factors on gender role stereotypes.

The visually impaired has a difficulty in finding out direction by recognizing a space. Therefore, in a library for the visually impaired that targets the visually impaired as its major subject, spatial arrangement and design are required to be made considering convenience of the users. However, at present, environment of library for the visually impaired is inferior in reality due to various financial problems, realistic limitation of spatial configuration and lack of Academical Study on professional design Plan for such library. Therefore, in order to improve environment of the library for the visually impaired and research on user-based design, this study analyzed what type of space is required to be arranged depending on management criteria and direction and efficient arrangement of such space with mutual relation among Users, Managers and Public area.

This study aimed to study the effects of participation levels of youth activities -- disciplinary activities, exchange activities, and cultural activities -- on career decision-making of middle- and high-school students and categorized the decision-making orientation into two: self-directed and adult-dependent. It used data from the Korea Welfare Panel Study. Main results are as follows. First, the levels of adult-dependent attitudes and participation of disciplinary activities decreased from middle-school period to high-school period. Second, positive effects of cultural activity on self-directed attitudes were found both middle-school and high- school periods and the participation in cultural activities lowered the levels of adult-dependent attitudes. Third, all types of youth activities did not have significant effects on adult-dependent attitudes. Fourth, while participation in disciplinary activities lowered adult-oriented attitudes in high-school period, participation in exchange activities heightened them. Based on the these findings, this study suggested approaches to promote career decision-making of adolescents and directions for future research.

This research intends to improve the method of allocating crime prevention facilities in a residential district. Authors tried to calculate running speed of female youth as a means to measure distance to reach crime prevention facilities. In order to overcome conventional method of two dimensional buffer analysis, authors suggested new method of buffer analysis by considering gradient and refraction. Buffer areas for both conventional and new approach are compared after constructing GIS model of the site in Yeomri-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The result shows that buffer area of crime prevention facilities drawn from conventional method (i.e. not considering gradient and refraction) covers 74.7%, whereas the area drawn from improved method (i.e. considering gradient and refraction) covers only 38.4% of the road within the site. The result indicates that conventional method of allocating crime prevention facilities does not guarantee safety of female youth in a steepy and bended alley. Therefore, when providing design guidelines for crime prevention facilities, it is necessary to apply the improved method considering gradient and refraction of the road.

청소년기 자존감 초기치, 변화율과 성인전기 우울 사이의 종단적 관계

The purpose of the present study was to examine the longitudinal relationship between initial level and change in self-esteem during adolescence and depression in pre-adulthood, using data from a 5-year Korean Youth Panel Survey data. This study hypothesized that both intial level and change in self-esteem during adolescence affect depression in pre-adulthood. The results of this study through latent growth curve analysis were in the followings. First, adolescents who initial level in self-esteem during adolescence was low were more likely to exhibit symptoms of depression in pre-adulthood. Second, change in self-esteem during adolescence did not significantly predicted depression in pre-adulthood. The implications about the longitudinal relationship between initial level and change in self-esteem during adolescence and depression in pre-adulthood are discussed for counseling practice and future research.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between perfectionism tendency and subjective well-being and to identify the mediating effect of self-efficacy and perceived social support in the influence of perfectionism on subjective well-being. The survey was conducted with 533 participants who are students at universities located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First of all, there were statistically significant positive correlations between adaptive perfectionism and sub factors of subjective well-being which are positive emotion, satisfaction with life and self-efficacy and perceived social support. Meanwhile, maladaptive perfectionism and negative emotion which is a sub factor of subjective well-being showed a positive correlation, where as a negative correlations was identified between maladaptive perfectionism and self-efficacy and perceived social support. Second it was verified that self-efficacy carries out partial mediation when it comes to the relation between adaptive perfectionism and subjective well-being, and relation between maladaptive perfectionism and subjective well-being. Third, it was verified that perceived social support carries out partial mediation when it comes to the relation between adaptive perfectionism and subjective well-being, and relation between maladaptive perfectionism and subjective well-being.

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of fear of negative evaluation and positive evaluation in the relationship beetween perceived psychological control on social anxiety in college students. 514 college studests(men 187 and women 327) located in Gyeonggi and Seoul of South Korea participated in this study. First, Dependency-oriented and Achievement - oriented Psychological Control showed a significant positive correlation with social anxiety and fear of negative evaluation and positive evaluation as a reseult of correlation analysis between Dependency-oriented and Achievement - oriented Psychological Control, social anxiety and fear of negative evaluation, positive evaluation. Second, verification of the mediated effect model to fear of positive evaluation in relations of dependency-oriented and achievement oriented psychological control and social anxiety showed that dependency-oriented and achievement-oriented psychological control was totally mediated by fear of positive evaluation, which has an effect on social anxiety. Third, verification of the mediated effect model to fear of negative evaluation in relations of dependency-oriented and achievement oriented psychological control and social anxiety showed that dependency-oriented and achievement- oriented psychological control was totally mediated by fear of negaitive evaluation, which has an effect on social anxiety.

The purpose of this study was to synthesize journals that studied about causal factor of school violence for 11 years by using meta-analysis. There were many factors having effects on school violence, so that results of these factors need to be integrated by conducting meta-analysis. By using R package, the effect sizes of correlation coefficient of variables related to school violence were calculated and the relevance of several potential moderator variables was examined. This meta-analysis integrated the results of 18 journals with 18 variables under 5 categories. Each of 18 variables under 5 categories were divided by an individual, family, school, peer and community factor. The school factor had the largest effect size and the community factor had the fourth effect size among the 5 categories. In categories, the problem behavior variable had the largest effect size and domestic violence, a victim of school violence, peer conformity, harmful environment were also large in effect size in each of categories. Because some of variables have yielded heterogeneous results, we examined moderating effects using meta ANOVA. Moderator analysis using meta ANOVA showed the school type and sex configuration influenced on the effect size. This study confirmed that the school and community factors has a notable effect on school violence. Finally, the implications of these findings were discussed in terms of school violence prevention.

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of group cognitive behavior therapy-based group art therapy on attachment, anger expression of juvenile delinquents. 20 people were selected out of juvenile delinquents on probation in OO Youth Detention Center of C city and were allocated randomly into the experimental group(10) and the control group(10). Group art therapy based on cognitive behavior therapy sessions were performed to the experimental group Each session lasted for 90 minutes, and was conducted twice a week for 18 sessions in total. No treatment was performed to control group. IPA, IPA, SAXI, AX were used as assessment scales. Independent T-test was conducted to investigate the homogeneity between the experimental group and the control group, and between groups, differences between measure timings, and interactions between groups and measure timings were measured by performing mixed ANOVA to find out the effects of group art therapy based on cognitive behavioral therapy. The results of group art therapy based on cognitive behavior therapy are as follows. First. parents attachment of experimental group was significantly increased compared to the control group after group art therapy based on cognitive behavior therapy. Second. peer attachment of experimental group was significantly increased compared to the control group after group art therapy based on cognitive behavior therapy. Third, there was no significant change in state anger between experimental and control group after group art therapy based on cognitive behavior therapy. Forth, there was no significant change in trait anger between experimental and control group after group art therapy based on cognitive behavior therapy Fifth, anger-out and anger-in of anger expression did not show significant change for the experimental group after the group art therapy based on cognitive behavior therapy, but anger control was significantly increased for the experimental group after the group art therapy

복합외상경험과 강박증상의 관계에서 외상신념의 매개효과

The study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of traumatic belief on the relation between Complex Trauma and Obsessive-compulsive symptoms. This research was done by conducting surveys from 350 university students who are attending universities in Gwangju and Jeonnam area. The results was used both correlation analysis and regression analysis method. The result are as followed. First, there is a significance correlation among Complex trauma experience, traumatic belief and obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Second, traumatic belief shows the mediating effect between complex trauma and obsessive-compulsive symptoms. It shows the possibility to increase obsessive-compulsive symptoms because the levels of complex traumatic experience and traumatic belief are high. This study is worthful for demonstrating the effect of traumatic belief in terms of predicting the compulsive symptoms after complex traumatic experience. Implications and suggestions to further research are discussed.

The purpose of this study was to investigate any links between adolescent's happiness and adolescent's perception of parent-child communication, peer relationships, academic stress. For this purpose, the participants consisted of 371 high school students dwelling in Incheon city. The most salient results from this study were as follows : First, there were not statistically significant differences in the adolescent's happiness according to the grade and sex. Second, parent-adolescent open communication were positively associated with the adolescent's happiness. But parent-adolescent problem communication were negatively associated with the adolescent's happiness partly. Third, peer relationships were positively associated with the adolescent's happiness. Fourth, academic stress were negatively associated with the adolescent's happiness. Fifth, as the results of regression analysis, peer relationships, study stress were influential factors in explaining the adolescent's happiness.

중학생의 사회적 지지와 진로태도성숙의 관계에서 학교적응의 매개효과

This study examined the mediating effects of school adjustment on the relation between social support and career attitude maturity of middle school students. The 527 middle school students were participated to analyze the Pearson Correlation and Hierarchical Regression Analyses. The research tools were social support scale, career attitude scale and school adjustment scale. The results of this study can be described as follows; First, social support and career attitude maturity, social support and school adjustment, and school adjustment and career attitude maturity showed significant positive correlations. In addition, All the sub-factors of social support and school adjustment showed high positive correlation. Second, the school adjustment fully mediated the relation between social support and career attitude maturity. In the case of sub-factors of school adjustment, school academics partially mediated the relationship between social support and career attitude maturity, school friends completely mediated, and school life partially mediated the relationship between social support and career attitude maturity. On the other hand, school teacher did not mediate the relationship between social support and career attitude maturity. Such results verified that school adjustment is a very important mediating factor in middle school students’ relation between social support and career attitude maturity. These results can be used to develop programs for middle school students’ career counseling and career guide. In addition, the implication and limitition of this study was discussed.

This study has a purpose to make foundation data of study of autistic children's treatment circumstances, which makes autistic children's treatment circumstances can be utilized in educational and therapeutic ways. Method of study is suggesting the analysis tools of sensibility design element by theory consideration, based on them, and conducting of survey and analysis about four treatment center which is treating autistic children and proved the treatment circumstances in 5years among the small scale treatment center. As the result, in case of finishing materials, even though the treatment rooms were for autistic handicapped people ,who have keen hearing, it did't have suited physical environment which should be necessary even in normal treatment room. The windows size were almost fitted and generally blinds which should have controled amount of light. In case of color, though the autistic handicapped have feature, obsessive personality, patterned wallpaper was used without consideration. The light should be improved most seriously because only few of treatment centers were using dimmer switch which can stabilize autistic children's emotion. The furnitures, which should have round edge, were well planned to stimulate curiosity and progress favorably the curriculum by low-opening closet.

This paper aims to investigate spatial configurational properties of a school based on year-mixed departmental system. As one of fundamental differences of this system compared with ordinary departmental system, students are not grouped in accordance with their years, but rather randomly allocated to one of five core subjects without considering what year they are. Year-mixed departmental system is carefully developed by a local educational administration in Fukui-city, Japan, in order to ensure sustainable learning activities, correspond to diverse didactics and to meet required educational quality. However, this particular system has not been fully examined how it works and what spatial properties can be defined in architectural viewpoint. Throughout in-depth understanding of spatial properties using visibility graph analysis model which is one of analytical tools in space syntax, it is concluded that the spatial layout is characterised by dynamic spatial structure at different levels: a congregational space (i.e., foyer) acts as a core for social interactions and activities at a global level, but cluster-based common spaces act as substantial places for educational activities. Moreover, not only courtyards allow light in the deepest part of the building, but also they make the spatial structure more intelligible, visible and accessible for students. It is suggested that this spatial configuration designed for year-mixed departmental system allows students to create diverse learning activities, leads to various interactions across the building and results in an innovative educational culture.

중학생의 사이버불링 경험에 미치는 변인 연구

The purpose of the study was to examine the effects of adolescent personal variables(self control, aggression), family variables(family function), school variables(school life adjustment) and socio- demographic variables, on cyber bullying experience and the relative significance of those variables. The subjects were 404(149 male, 255 female) middle school students at G city in Jeonnam province. They completed the Cyber Bullying Questionnaire, Korean version of Aggression Questionnaire, Family Functioning Questionnaire, and School Life Adjustment Questionnaire. Statistical analyses of data were frequency, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and multiple Regression. Cronbach's alpha was computed for the reliability of the scales. SPSSWIN 21.0 was used for data analysis. The results were as follows: First, immediate pursuit of satisfaction and physical aggression had significant effects on cyber bullying experience. Immediate pursuit of satisfaction and hostility had significant effects on cyber bullying victim experience. Second, sharing time with family had significant effects on cyber bullying experience. Adolescents with more sharing time with family showed less cyber bullying experience. However, no subscale of family functioning had significant effects on cyber bullying victim experience. Third, peer relationship had significant effects on cyber bullying and victim experience. Fourth, gender and smartphone using time had significant effects on adolescent cyber bullying experience. Male adolescents experienced higher cyber bullying experience than female adolescents. The more adolescents used smartphone, the higher they experienced higher cyber bullying and victim experience. Fifth, it was found that physical aggression, smartphone using time, immediate pursuit of satisfaction, sharing time with family, sex, peer relationship, family closeness, had significant influences on cyber bullying experience, whereas hostility, immediate pursuit of satisfaction, peer relationship had significant influences on cyber bullying victim experience.

여대생의 음주유형별 주관적 특성

The study aims to identify the types of psychological subjectivity regarding the alcohol drinking and to investigate their characteristics, especially with 34 sample of female college students. Q Methodology was employed to human subjectivity with quantitative approach. The result shows that the subjectivity regarding the alcohol drinking has three types including rational reluctance, subjective indulgence, and impulsive dependency. The finding provides our understanding of the type and the characteristics of alcohol drinking female college students behave, thus it is expected to have strategies to prevent and to intervene the alcohol drinking. Stress coping strategies and self-control reinforcement should be included in the education program to prevent and to reduce the alcohol drinking.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Brain Education program that are consist of brain gymnastics, meditation and breathing on positive emotion and emotion regulation for middle school students. The scales were Emotion Experience Scale and Emotion Regulation Scale. Experimental group students and comparative group students completed the scales in pre-test and post-test. The Brain Education program was applied for 13 weeks(50 minutes per week). Brain Education program is applied to only experimental group students. Pre-test and post-test comparisons were analyzed through repeated measures ANOVA to evaluate the effect of the Brain Education program. Brain Education program have been showing the positive effects. The finding suggests Brain Education program positively influenced on the positive emotion, but not emotion regulation. Results were discussed in terms of possible mechanisms of benefit and an alternative method of present school education that has many problems.

This study drew the planning method of school common use space in the social aspect of exchanges and contacts between adolescents, by considering the characteristics of the adolescent period. In order to achieve the research goal, the study conducted a literature review and an analysis to extract physical decision factors that would promote social interaction between adolescents most actively. The decision factors were then properly applied to each of the spatial characteristics of school common use space, and that helped the study come up with planning methods. The results can be summarized as follows. First, as for the physical decision factors of exterior common use space in which the most active social interaction would occur, the study extracts width (D) of exterior space and height (H) of a building to correspond to the former, a form to surround exterior common use space and others and in terms of physical decision factors of interior common use space, proximity-based space organization, space hierarchy-based addition of placeness, aesthetic and cognitive space organization and others are selected as the relevant factors. Second, the study confirms that proper amount of stay time, forming of internal space sense and others should be considered for exterior common use space planning.
