The purpose of the study was to explore the smartphone dependence tendency and family function perceived by youth and to find out mediating effect of stress coping strategies. The participants in this study were 313 youths attending middle school, high school, college located in jeon-buk. Spss 25.0 and PROCESS macro 35.0 program were used for descriptive analysis. The results were as follows: first, difference analysis according to gender, male students showed higher family function and passive coping strategies in comparison with female students. And significant differences were found in active coping and passive coping strategies according to grades. Second, it was verified that family function affect stress coping strategies, family function to smartphone dependence, and stress coping strategies to smartphone dependence. Third, the partial mediating effect of passive coping style(wishful thinking) was significant in the influence of family function on smartphone dependence. These results provide important implications for the counseling intervention of youth who are dependent on smartphones.

The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship between the counselor's professional identity, self-efficacy, the counselor's level of development, and burnout. To this end, a questionnaire consisting of the counselor's professional identity scale, self-efficacy scale, counselor development level scale, and burnout scale was conducted for 356 counselors working as counselors across the country. 356 responses were used for analysis. In order to confirm the structural relationship of the variables, a research model and a comparative model were established, and the final model was selected through the verification of the fit of the model. As a result of the study, first, there was a positive correlation between professional identity, self-efficacy, and the level of the counselor's development, and a negative correlation with burnout. Second, professional identity had a direct impact on self-efficacy, and had a direct/indirect effect on the level of development and burnout of counselors. Third, self-efficacy had a direct effect on the level of development of the counselor, and had a direct and indirect effect on burnout. Fourth, in the relationship between professional identity and burnout, it was confirmed that self-efficacy and the level of the counselor's development had a sequential partial mediating effect. Based on these results, the significance of this study and suggestions for follow-up studies were discussed.

The purpose of this study is to explore opinions on securing the professionalism of public officials in charge of youth development through in-depth interviews with youth-related public officials in Gyeonggi-do. The research method is qualitative research, and the main data collection method is in-depth interview. In-depth interviews were conducted for 8 participants. As for the criteria for in-depth interview, five job performance skills(tools) were extracted and implemented through a theoretical background for a plan to secure professionalism. The main analysis results of the plan to secure professionalism are as follows. First, public officials in charge of youth development shall be increased and assigned to the department in charge of youth development. Second, a systematic policy delivery system, such as using the name 「youth」 should be established centering on the department in charge of youth development. Third, the scope of job of public officials in charge of youth development should be legislated. Fourth, the public official in charge of youth development should carefully consider the appointment plan from a term-based public official to a local professional career officer. Fifth, long-term education should be continuously received to improve the professionalism of public officials in charge of youth development. Finally, a professional organization should be established to defend the rights and interests of public officials in charge of youth development. Based on these results, it is intended to be used as basic research data.

This study confirmed the effect of middle school students' learning self-efficacy on online class satisfaction in the COVID-19 situation, and verified the mediating effect of digital literacy in the relationship between learning self-efficacy and online class satisfaction. For this purpose, data from 323 middle school students were used for regression analysis using SPSS 26 and PROCESS macro. As a result of the analysis, first, it was found that learning self-efficacy had a positive effect on digital literacy, and that digital literacy was found to have a positive effect on online class satisfaction. However, learning self-efficacy did not significantly affect online class satisfaction. Second, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of digital literacy between learning self-efficacy and online class satisfaction, it was confirmed that the direct effect was not significant, but the indirect effect was significant. In other words, it was found that digital literacy mediates indirect-only mediation in the relationship between learning self-efficacy and online class satisfaction. Using the results of this study, practical measures were presented to improve the satisfaction of middle school students with online classes in the context of COVID-19.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effecting factors on the awareness of publicity of youth activity facilities of youth in the living area. The subjects of this study are 427 adolescent who have used youth activity facilities in Gyeongnam. The results of this study are as follows. First, First, The result found that intention to use youth activity facilities in the future, recommendation to others of use for youth activity facilities and user satisfaction of youth activity facilities have a significant effect on awareness of publicity of youth activity facilities. Second, he result found that intention to use youth activity facilities in the future, recommendation to others of use for youth activity facilities and user satisfaction of youth activity facilities have a significant effect on awareness of convenience of youth activity facilities. Third, he result found that intention to use youth activity facilities in the future, recommendation to others of use for youth activity facilities and user satisfaction of youth activity facilities have a significant effect on awareness of equity and inclusiveness of youth activity facilities.. Fourth, he result found that intention to use youth activity facilities in the future, recommendation to others of use for youth activity facilities and user satisfaction of youth activity facilities have a significant effect on awareness of substantiality of youth activity facilities. Lastly, I suggest that it requested the accessability for youth activity facilities and development of variety of activity programs based on youth needs and social environmental change and so on for activating of youth activity facilities and improving of awareness of youth activity facilities.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among parental conflict perceived by adolescents, irrational belief, and maladjustment behavior(internalizing and externalizing problems) and to investigate the mediating effect of irrational belief in the relationship between parental conflict perceived by adolescents and maladjustment behavior. The subjects of this study were 413(203 male, 210 female) students in the first and second grade of three high schools located at M city in Jeonnam province. The parental conflict scale, maladjustment behavior scale, and irrational belief scale were completed. SPSSWIN 27.0 for Windows was used for descriptive statistics and correlation analysis and SPSS Process Macro 4.0 was used for multiple regression analysis and bootstrapping. First, parental conflict perceived by adolescents showed positive correlation with irrational beliefs, internalization problems, and externalization problems, while irrational beliefs showed positive correlation with internalization problems and externalization problems. Second, irrational beliefs had partial mediating effects between parental conflict perceived by adolescents and internalization problems. Third, irrational beliefs had partial mediating effects between parental conflict perceived by adolescents and externalization problems.

This article aims to verify the mediating effect of the self-efficacy of career decision in the relationship between self-directed learning and career adaptability of post-adolescents. The subjects of the study for analysis were 316 university students in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. The results of the study show. First, post-adolescents the self-directed learning and its sub-variables including learning motivation, learning strategy, self-awareness in order has a meaningful effect on the career adaptability. Second, post-adolescents the self-directed learning and its sub-variables including learning strategy, self-awareness, learning motivation in order has a meaningful effect on the self-efficacy of career decision. Third, post-adolescents the self-efficacy of career decisions and its sub-variables including goal selection, job information, future plans in order has a meaningful effect on the career adaptability. Fourth, the analysis result of the correlation between the self-directed learning and the self-efficacy of career decision shows that the self-directed learning and the career adaptability and the self-efficacy of career decision have a meaningful positive correlation with each other. And, the results of multiple regression analysis and Sobel Test show that the self-efficacy of career decision has a meaningful partial mediating effect in the relationship between the self-directed learning and the career adaptability.

The provision of spaces and services that reflect the characteristics and needs of the tween generation has important meaning as an opportunity to revitalize youth services in public libraries and expand the role of public libraries as a space for youth' leisure and activities. Therefore, this study intended to investigate the awareness of the public librarian on the creation and operation of the tween space in public libraries. We collected survey response data from 63 librarians in charge of youth services at public libraries located in Seoul, and the analysis results are as follows. First, the recognition of the tweens of librarians was below the normal level, while the perception of necessity of providing tween space appeared to be more than normal. Second, it was expected that the tween’s library usage rate and satisfaction would improve when the tween space and services were provided. Third, it was appropriate to create the tween space as a dedicated space, and securing space and budget were important prerequisites. The tasks to revitalizing the creation of tween spaces in public libraries are as follows: efforts to understand and properly recognize the tweens, develop a promotional strategy to secure a sufficient budget, and find ways to create tween spaces suitable for library conditions.

This study analyzes child care activities and children’s behavioral characteristics in ‘Children’s Day Service’, outpatient facilities for disabled children in Japan, in order to understand the characteristics of those facilities and also present foundational data to plan the facilities and child care environment for disabled children afterwards. The method of the study is described as follows. First of all, through literature review, this author considered behavior setting and the concept of ‘Children’s Day Service’ in Japan. Moreover, this researcher visited the KA facility in Tokyo and then analyzed ‘behavior setting’ through behavior observation and investigation to present the implications. The results and implications are summed up as follows: 1) Through the analysis of ‘behavior setting’, relations between the time, place, and space could be grasped about each of the child care activities. 2) It is necessary to plan the space for storing play tools that are essentially needed to take care of disabled children efficiently. 3) It is needed to establish safety measures in consideration of the characteristics of disabilities. Since it is crucial to understand the characteristics of disabled infants to create an environment that can support their growth and development, it will be necessary to accumulate follow-up studies dealing with their behavioral patterns.
