This study aimed to explore the mediating effect of resilience in the relationships between self-efficacy and psychological burnout among certified youth workers. To achieve this goal, we used questionnaires to measure youth workers’ self-efficacy, resilience, and psychological burnout. A total of 96 youth workers participated in the study and the data was analyzed with descriptive analysis, correlation test, multiple regression, hierarchical multiple regression, and bootstrapping using jamovi 1.0.0. The results revealed that self-efficacy, resilience, and psychological burnout are positively and negatively correlated. Specifically, we found that self-efficacy and resilience predict psychological burnout. Finally, resilience has a significant partial mediating effect between youth workers’ self-efficacy and psychological burnout such that self-efficacy could prevent the development of psychological burnout by improving resilience. These results suggest that self-efficacy and resilience could be positive personality traits for alleviating or eliminating psychological burnout among youth workers. The implications and limitations of the study are also discussed.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of parents' autonomy support, self-regulated learning motivation, and achievement goal orientation on high school students' academic burnout, and investigate the moderating effect of self-regulated learning motivation and achievement goal orientation on the relationship between parents' autonomy support and this students’ academic burnout. The results are as follows. First, academic burnout has a significant effect on parents' autonomy support, self-regulated learning motivation, and achievement goal orientation. Second, self-regulated learning motivation has a moderating effection the relationship between parents' autonomy support and students' academic burnout. Third, the achievement goal of performance-approach goal has a moderating effect on the relationship between parents' autonomy support and students' academic burnout. Fourth, achievement goal orientation of mastery-approach goal and performance-avoidance had no moderating effect on the relationship between parents' autonomy support and students' academic burnout. This finding implies that the effect of parents' autonomy support on students’ academic burnout may vary depending on students' level of self-regulated learning motivation and achievement goal orientation. In this respect, the study has discussed limitations and the needs to find more effective intervention methods that can increase self-regulated learning motivation and achievement goal orientation of performance-approach goal that can control the academic burnout of students.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of parent-child communication, loneliness and interpersonal problems on adolescents smartphone addiction. The subjects of the study were 342 adolescents who were selected from 1~3 grade of high school. The collected data was analyzed using the SPSS 23.0 program. Depending on the research problem, frequency, Cronbach's α, Pearson's corrlation coefficients, multiple regression were used. The results of this study were as follows: First, Father-child communication, mother-child communication all showed negative correlation with smartphone addiction. Loneliness and smartphone addiction have a positive correlation, interpersonal problems and smartphone addiction have a positive correlation. Second, father-child communication has indirect effect on adolescent's smartphone addiction through loneliness and interpersonal problems. On the other hand, mother-child communication was indirectly influenced by loneliness and interpersonal problems, and was directly influenced too. Third, in the relationship between father-child communication and adolescent's smartphone addiction, the dual mediating effect of loneliness and interpersonal problem appeared. also mother-child communication and adolescent's smartphone addiction, the dual mediating effect of loneliness and interpersonal problem appeared too. This study helped the adolescents to understand smartphone addiction and provided specific information to prevent and mitigate them.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the site specificity based on the regional characteristics and the user characteristics, rather than the same type and form of architecture, The purpose of this study is to analyze the architectural planning elements of the building and to utilize it as the architectural design guide of related facilities in the future. The Local Support Center for Child Care, which is the subject of this study, should be centered on local user characteristics based on regional specificity as a facility for childcare support of the local community. For this purpose, this study categorized user group as parents, infants, childcare teachers and investigated the satisfaction and frequency of each user group through literature review. Unlike the centralized child care center, only one support center for childcare is located in the area, particularly in the case of small towns that are the target of this study, so that the facilities of each user group are highly utilized, It is required to consider the visual landmark characteristic as the image quality. As a result of this study, the comprehensive child care center of small towns in the local small cities can strengthen the flexibility of spatial zoning based on the usage patterns and preferences of local users, There was a difficulty in securing sufficient external space and there was a limit that can not passively develop various designs of the interior space.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between adolescent girls' co-rumination with best friend and mothers and girls' depression and to investigate moderating effect of soothing ability the relationship between adolescent girls’ co-rumination with best friend and girls’ depression. The subjects of the study were 269 adolescent girls who were selected from first grade of high school in Busan and Chang-won. For data analysis, frequency, paired t-test, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression, t-test were used. The results were as follows: First, adolescent girls most frequently co-ruminate with mother about their problems. Second, adolescent girls’ co-rumination with best friend had positive correlations with depression. On the other hand, adolescent girls’ co-rumination with mothers had negative correlations with adolescent girls’ depression. Third, moderating effect of soothing ability between adolescent girls’ co-rumination with best friend and girls' depression was significant. The results suggest the importance of increasing adolescence girls’ soothing ability in prevention of depression which is caused by co-rumination with best friend.

This study was to examine the moderating effect of self-expression in the relationship between grateful disposition and the personal growth of soldiers. For this purpose, the questionnaire was administered to 181 soldiers who were within 10 months of enlistment in the army using the grateful disposition scale, self-expression scale, and personal growth scale. For the data analysis, reliability analysis, frequency analysis, and descriptive statistics were performed, and hierarchical regression analysis was performed for correlation analysis, simple regression analysis, and moderating effect analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a significant correlation between soldiers‘ grateful disposition, personal growth, and self-expression. Second, grateful disposition tends to have a significant effect on personal growth. Third, self-expression has a significant effect on personal growth. Fourth, self-expression played a role as a moderating variable in the relationship between soldiers’ grateful disposition and personal growth. It is meaningful that the results of this study provided basic data on education and counseling support for soldiers.

The purpose of this study is to derive the experiential cultural desires of students and behavioral patterns for increasing the utilization of university libraries. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, we suggest to create the ‘Reading-Tainment’ space in which university students' DiSC behavior patterns are applied. In order of process, we developed a survey tool to measure preferences and then conducted surveys to university students who recently used libraries. As a result of the survey, we found that there is a difference in the spatial characteristics preferred among the DiSC behaviors of university students. In particular, we found similar preferences around the x-axis(D+i, S+C) and y-axis(D+C, I+S) that distinguish DiSC types. Since the characteristics of library preferences are different for each type of DiSC behavior of university students, suggesting a space consisting of each type creates a various of library spaces with high utilization. This study is an initial research to apply the concepts ‘Reading-Tainment’ and 'DiSC behavior type' to space. Beginning with this study, we hope that more follow-up studies on experiential cultural desires and behavioral patterns will emerge.

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship among family support, career motivation, and career preparation behavior with university students. In particular, main purpose was to see whether the relationship between family support and career preparation behavior is mediated or not by career motivation. A total of 370 students who were sampled from universities in Jeolla-do and Chungcheongnam-do participated in this study. Three kind of questionnaires were used to collect data on the above 3 variables. Statistical procedures such as correlational analysis, and hierarchical regression were applied for analyzing data. The results of the study were as follows: First, the analysis of correlational relationship between family support, career motivation, and career preparation behavior showed that there was a significant correlation between the variables. Second, the analysis of gender differences in family support, career motivation, and career preparation behavior showed that there was not a significant difference. Third, the career motivation played as a partially mediator while family support had a significant effect on the career preparation behavior. Such results verified that career motivation is a very important mediating variable on the relationship between support of family and career preparation behavior. Finally, the limitation of the study and suggestion for future studies are as follow: First, the measurement method of this study were all collected by self-report questionnaire. Second, In this study, the mediator effect was verified by the hierarchical regression method, but in the subsequent study it is required to analyze the mediating effect more accurately by verifying it with the structural equation model. Third, The other study are required for more synthetic understanding of career preparation behavior. These results can be used to develop programs for university students’ career counseling and career guide.

In this study, the ADHD children were categorized as cognitive behavioral programs to improve the ADHD children's attention deficit, and the mother of ADHD children was helped by the parental counseling through the cognitive behavioral program, I was able to give arbitration. The study subject was A, who was a fourth grader in elementary school in B city and diagnosed as ADHD. A total of 20 sessions was held with individual cognitive behavioral training. After each session, counseling sessions were held with the children. Afterwards, the children's attention and impulsivity were analyzed through the K-ARS and the Behavioral Observation List. As a result, the attention score according to the K-ARS decreased, and the observation of the behavior list improved the attention of the A child. A child's parenting attitude changed from over-protection to parental A child, and parenting stress decreased. The result of providing a program to find a more objective and problem-solving idea by finding out the dysfunctional thinking or belief that created the emotion that causes the problem behaviors of A child exposed through the cognitive-behavioral intervention A cognitive behavioral program has a positive effect on the attention enhancement of children.

This study aims to examine whether the mediation association between bicultural attitude, ego resilience, and learning attitude among multicultural adolescents was moderated by friend support. For the purpose, utilizing the PROCESS macro for SPSS, a mediated moderation effect was analyzed on a sample of 1,281 multicultural adolescents with a foreign-born mother who were selected from the raw data of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study (MAPS). The main findings are as follows. First, bicultural attitude was positively associated with learning attitude among multicultural adolescents. Second, multicultural adolescents’ ego resilience partially mediated the association between bicultural attitude and learning attitude. Third, multicultural adolescents’ friend support moderated the association between bicultural attitude and learning attitude and the association between bicultural attitude and ego resilience. Fourth, multicultural adolescents’ friend support had a mediated moderation effect on the mediation association between bicultural attitude, ego resilience, and learning attitude. Based on the findings, practice and policy implications for promoting learning attitude among multicultural adolescents were discussed.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of acculturative stress on the school adjustment mediated by depression and self-esteem. Data were obtained from the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study(MAPS). Structural equation modeling was employed for statistical analyses. On the results of this study, acculturative stress showed significantly positive influence on the depression, however, negative influence on the self-esteem. Depression significantly negative influence on the school adjustment and self-esteem significantly positive influence on the school adjustment. Also, acculturative stress showed negative influence on the school adjustment. On the analysis results of mediation effect, depression and self-esteem are partially mediating the influence of acculturative stress on the school adjustment. Based on these results, this study suggested the method to increase the school adjustment of multicultural adolescents.
