The purpose of this study is to find out the major exhibition organizers' perception of exhibitions as intangible assets through the analysis of value factors of exhibitions. Ultimately, this study purports to suggest a theoretical model for exhibition M&A as well as for other types of trade show related transactions. In spite of the growth of Korean exhibition industry Korea is now facing its new phase for fast improvement for its exhibition qualities, in particular as examples, overcoming the issues of numerous similar types of exhibitions thriving in the market or lack of enough international participant. On the contrary, global organizers are actively seeking new opportunities to enter our market by organizing their own shows or acquiring existing Korean exhibitions. In this thread, this study finds its purpose to form a foundation for improving Korean exhibitions' global competitiveness and internationalization by suggesting its own theoretical framework that will eventually help realistically evaluate Korean exhibitions as assets and set up differentiating criteria on individual exhibition.

Trade shows are held on the concrete and real platform and they have more advantageous value of exhibit marketing than online media such as homepage, SNS in the digital era. For this reason, this article focuses on the space, spatial activities of trade show. In this paper, space means the physical environment. With the review and analysis of related literatures, the conceptual framework of space and space activities in trade show is suggested under the environmental psychological theory. For this conclusion, the research is studied on the basis of literature analysis. Firstly, the facilities, so-called as convention & exhibition center are considered as an architectural viewpoint. After the historical review, this study tries to define the typology of trade show centers. Secondly, the trade show layouts by organizers are reviewed and the spatial elements of booths in exhibit marketing are lastly classified. As a conclusion, the article suggests a triangle model for explaining the spaces, spatial activities in trade show with the viewpoint of key stakeholders of exhibition industry.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the current states and characteristics through the latest trends of Chinese exhibition industry. For this purpose, this study analyzed as follows. Firstly, this study analyzed the exhibition venues & centers(facilities) such as the number of exhibition venues by region and city, main exhibition centers of China, and the latest trends of new exhibition facilities in China. Secondly, this study analyzed the annual exhibitions(shows). we studied and evaluated the number of exhibitions(shows) by region and city, the number of exhibitions by exhibition center, the number of exhibitions by category of business in China. Thirdly, based on the above analysis, this study analyzed the current states and characteristics of Chinese exhibition industry. And, we presented the implications obtained by this analyses.

This study aims to analyze the influences of entertainment factors on visitor’s satisfaction and behavioral intentions at the Korea Travel Expo. The four entertainment factors had been extract: performance and event, participation and experience, audio-video-illumination and digital media contents, and publication and creation factors. The results of the analysis of the influences of the entertainment factors were as following: participation and experience factor influences on satisfaction; all factors except audio-video- illumination and digital media contents factor have effect on satisfaction, and satisfaction influence on behavioral intention.

The Purpose of this study is to analyze the present linkage between exhibition and convention center and hot spring resources in Beppu, and to suggest an development plan for regional development. For this purpose, this study suggest as follows: Firstly, Beppu should have made linkages between MICE industry and hot spring resources. It means that more MICE program development using the of hot spring resource need to develop as well as economic assistance plan for using hot spring lodging. Secondly, Beppu have to provide hot spring related products and its experience opportunity to MICE participants. Thirdly, Beppu have to host the hot spring related MICE; by hosting hot spring related MICE, higher attractions of Beppu could attract more participants in Beppu, and Beppu’s reputation and positive image will be continued. And, Periodical and systematic hosting of the hot spring related MICE will allow each hot spring destination and organization to share know-how on the MICE industry.
