This article illustrates the importance and necessities of opening a medical tour service exhibition. Thanks to the medical tourists in 2011, Korea, a chronic tour balance deficit country, recorded her first surplus in tour balance field. Medical tour not only contributes to the international tour balance surplus but has greatly affected the whole service industry. It also plays an important role in improving national image, brand, and dignity of Korea. Recently, Korea has attained one trillion dollars in foreign trade. In order to reach two trillion dollars in the near future, the growth of the service industry in Korea is greatly required. Korean Medical tour service industry has become a very competitive service industry. There are a lot of good reasons for hosting the medical tour service exhibition; Through the exhibition, the overall strong attracting points of Korean medical service industry can be widely announced to all over the world. Periodical and systematic opening of the exhibition will allow each medical organization to share know-how on the medical industry. Each exhibitor will compete in good faith. Well organized conference and case-study presentation will help enhance the overall standards of the Korean medical service industry.

Though study on trade show industry in U.S. provide meaningful factors, there are few case studies with this theme. This research studies the status and the characteristics of the States's trade show industry. To this purpose, we conduct analysis study on the industry's supply & demand status and economic impact, the Top3 convention centers and trade shows. The results of this study are as follows: (1) U.S. exhibition industry as well as its economic and trade volume, economies of scale has been implemented. (2) Even in the aftermath of the crisis both demand and supply indicators are growing. (3) Through case studies on top three convention centers and trade shows, time-based operational know-how accumulated, discriminatory factors have been revealed as a basis of measures to promote trade activities and the creation of economic impact in the region.

This article tries to review international trade faie industry under economic crisis. There are several important discussions. Firstly, the trade shows declined in numbers; Secondly, the industry types are steadying; Thirdly, small and medium-sized enterprises and private enterprises are the main body of the exhibitors. Fourthly, the exhibitors’ and trade visitors’ evaluation of the trade shows were poor than before. On this basis, the article puts forward some countermeasure and advices, such as carrying the reform of trade show industry steadily, improving the facilities of the venues, strengthening the invitation of buyers and elevating the quality of the exhibitors.

Due to the limits of the domestic market in Korea, a number of small and medium-sized enterprises are planning to find new overseas markets, and deploying overseas marketing activities in many ways. However, compared to large companies, small and medium-sized enterprises are struggling with difficulties of financing, technology, and lack of manpower. In order to overcome these problems, Korean government has been supporting the development of overseas markets through funding, technical support, and etc. In this paper, 105 small and medium-sized enterprises were interviewed to find the most efficient way to develop overseas markets, and what the government needs to support for small and medium-sized enterprises, which are struggling with difficulties, were studied.
