This is a study on the interior color environment of City Youth Center. Interior color is the main element which decides people's first impression and affection of a place. It's hard to find leisure time for teenagers who are under pressure or stressed out of all day school life. Even they are considered as the most sensitive generation, youth centers weren't an attractive place for them. Recently, many studies has been shown certain criteria of architectural space plan and managing program of Youth Center, but not of space colors. Shabby or inharmonious environment makes teenagers lethargic and depressed. We investigated three City youth centers in Seoul and analyzed the colors and the users' reaction about the environment. Color palettes with color combinations are suggested according to the space concepts such as "refresh", "playful" and "fluidity".
