신동엽 시에 나타난‘ 과거’ 시간의 두 가지 성격

The purpose of this paper is to study on the time of Shin, Dongyoup’s poetry known as‘a national poet’or‘society involved poet’. The world of poetry is usually decided by poet’s recognition or a point of view about the reality. In addition, such attitude is closely associated with being’s situation and position between the past and the present. Therefore, in order to understand the dual world appeared on Shin, Dong-youp’s poetry and the historical current, this research focuses on‘the time’of his works. First, The point of time in Shin, Dong-youp’s poetry would be chosen overcoming process beyond a straight line at the border of a straight line and circle line. In other words, a straight line is basically tragic, so that circle line would be naturally applied to his works through mythical time such as death and revival, and circle of season Second, the main reason of applying the time past will be strongly associated with society involved spirit. Such spirit could express effectively through historical event or character. Therefore, the symbolic words such as‘3·1’,‘donghak’,‘4·19’,‘5·16’in Gumgang,‘Asanye’in Asanye’s Drum,‘donghak’‘Asadal’, ‘Asanye’in The Hull Goes out are used for the purpose of society involved spirit, Third, his poem that appeared in clear historical age tends to be judged as a society involved poem. However, although it describes about the past, and that does not show clear historical age, the poem is mainly appeared as a lyric. Fourth, the emotional reflecting time would be based on his lyric poetry. So this lyric character is another part of Shin, Dong-youp’s poetry as well as his involved character. In conclusion, with the view of diversity, the whole features of Shin, Dong-youp’s poetry would be revealed. The criticism that some of his works does not maintain the society involved character would not be consent, because a poet can produce various spectrum of writing. In addition, the time including Shin, Dong-youp’s poetry should be a good example of his writing character.

In literature education, an English critic, De Quincey divided into two parts,‘To Teach Literature’and‘To Move Literature’depending on the subject. Such issue,‘Who will be the subject’has been presented ceaselessly in the classroom, since education curriculum established in the society. Even in other education fields, this topic will be difficult to measure which one is the first as a controversial issue. This study is going to present the new method of literature education for an emerging group in the new century. The pedagogy bases on active participation of students and draws a productive conclusion in the class. In addition, the research aims to show the whole outline for creative writing education as well as other education fields to apply it. This is a fundamental step to examine the possibility for a real program in the class. Thus, it aims to investigate the merits and demerits of teaching methods through the virtual program and to testify the successful education plan.

This thesis is a study on the salient traits of his origin of writing, world view, and manner in creative writing of “The cart which a white caw is pulling”and “The dirty desk”with himself own strong autobiographic character mainly. First of all, this thesis found out his grave pessimism in the process of study. The writer expresses his awareness of futility from a tragic reality of a denial of birth, a discord within the family, poverty and structural contradiction and dominative theory in our society and so on. The writer who felt disillusionment from a tragic world selected writing of the novel in compensation for the matter and the concrete methodology was a slant toward the aesthetic world. The aesthetic nature to be embodied by the writer is as in the following. First, it is longing for the out -of-ordinary happenings and death. The writer finely images to use material grotesque and sensual for a novel. Second, it is a sexual love of the out - of - ordinary. In recent years the writer comes up with an idea that the indecent aesthetics coexists in a work of art with everyday life through a sex scene of abnormal sexuality with sadism instead of a conventional affectionate sexual love. Third, it makes the good use of a sensual language. This contributed definitely to a close relation with the popular as his major point. The writer presents an aesthetic pleasure to readers through a delicate sensational description about an intuitional cognition for object. It brought the value that the slant toward the aesthetic world made his work be inadequate for an ability of real response. This is because the writer gained access to the aesthetic world and object with flashing imagination. Such aspect showed a further deepened tendency from the work after an end of his literary career. In such point, there is an problem for the writer to solve how the harmonious combination should made up between an imageable intuition and contemplation of a wait -and- see attitude toward the world in the other side of a superficial aestheticism.

2000년대 역사소설에 나타난 비역사성의 양상 ─ 김훈, 신경숙, 김영하를 중심으로

As to a change of historical novels in 2000s, a new name of‘New age historical novel’has been devised. New age historical novel is clearly distinguished from the two trends showed by existing historical novels, that is, 1) a novel showing the interest of history itself, what is called, a kind of historical talks and 2) a novel creating stories metaphorically or allegorically, with a writer own idea or prospect of history reversely projected. Because New age historical novel demonstrates that history is exclusively used as an aesthetic thing not from a dimension not of an idea or interest but from a dimension of the personality and imagination of mutually different style. By the way, the historical novel as what is called New age historical novel is expanding an access to history with different character and taste, so to speak, a type as a novel pursuing for aestheticization rather than is achieving qualitative increase as effective alternatives or supplement of existing historical novels, so that it seems to be more feasible to be classified into an existing historical novel or a subordinate genre of a novel. This paper is intended to consider three aspects of non- historical nature indicated in 2000s historical novels, centering around 『Namhansanseong』(2007) written by Kim Hun, 『Rijin』(2007) written by Sin Gyeong-suk, and 『Black Flower』(2003) written by Kim Young- ha, by condensing the different nature and tastes of 2000s historical novels in the concept of non- historical nature.

The purpose of this thesis is to study the literary criticism education’s practical method in the cultural studies, Based on the analysis of the lecture on “literature and creation”at the Seoul National University of Technology. The lecture on “literature and creation”searched for the best method improving critical thought and expression by making good use of cultural media. first, the professor made use of cultural media in the introduction step for arousing students’s interest. the critical thought and expression for cultural text was connected the deep understanding for literary text. secondly, the students appreciated and criticized for the enlargement of the literary field(sf, fantasy, movie and advertisement, etc.) by making use of cultural media. When the literary education was connected with the creation education through criticism communication, the students took active part in the class and advanced in studies. the students improved the creative·critical thought and expression by analyzing and criticizing literary texts. by the way, it obtained excellent results by connecting criticism education for the literature with the creation education. the students criticized their classmate’s creation and communicated with one another. so they made up for the weak points in their writing. These criticism education in the university helped the students to become critical intellectual whom the university education aims for. the students improved critical thought and expression by making good use of cultural media in the lecture on “literature and creation”and they advanced in studies by connecting the literary education with the creation education through criticism communication.

문학작품의 저작물성 판단기준에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to examine what are reasonable judgment criteria for the copyrightability of literary works. To meet the purpose, this study discussed achievements of previous studies on the basis of relevant literatures and reference materials, and sought to examine into detailed judgment criteria for the copyrightability of literary works primarily on judicial precedents. As a result, this study could come to the following conclusions: First, it was found that the‘writings or work’protected under the Copyright Law is and remains available as anything revealing personal originality, whether literary, academic or artistic, rather than something qualified for special requirements. Furthermore, it was found that every writing or work implies its own copyright, no matter how much fine or poor it may be, and a copyright is produced immediately on the completion of creation without need of any procedure or method. In addition, it was also found that an original work may be used as a source for re-creation by other people to produce secondary works by means of translation, arrangement, modification, adaptation (dramatization) and film production. And according to current Copyright Law, the definition of ‘creativity’doesn’t mean any perfect and ultimate sense of originality, but implies that a work is not a simple imitation of other’s work but contains each author’s independent ideas or emotional expressions. As found out in this study, the current Copyright Law admits that the said least requirement can be met simply when a work is characterized by the outcome of its author’s own mental efforts and can be discriminated from any comparable work of other author. That is, the said law takes a position of demanding moderate creativity, not high. On the other hand, this study discussed that title of a literary work cannot deserve any recognition as a‘work’under current Copyright Law, contrary to the content of literary work. From the perspectives of researcher hereof, it is unreasonable that no copyrightability should be allowed uniformly for any title of work, but some of titles may be recognized as a work, if they contain creatively and fully expressed ideas or emotion. Ultimately, since the substantial similarity depends inevitably upon type of work or ideas contained therein, this study can come to a conclusion that certain case - by - case criteria should be applied differently to final judgment on plagiarism or unauthorized reproduction, depending upon the weight and scope of quotation, the way of expression and the specialized domain of work. Hence, it is urgently demanded that technological advantages of latest digital world should be leveraged to the maximum extent as applicable so as to create a network and database of works and copyright proprietors by each category of literary works in favor of streamlined licensing practices for literary works. Furthermore, it is also critical to prepare a comprehensive system to promptly judge any substantial similarity of a work to comparable counterpart.
