The stream of world economy has dramatically been changing from a manufacturing industry to a knowledge-based industry for last few decades. The economy output of knowledge-based industry which is sometimes called as a creative industry continues to grow at remarkable rate by the help of economic activities based on knowledge, information, and technology. To gain the benefit of knowledge-based industry, some developed countries have fostered a knowledge-based industry as their momentum of an economic growth creating high value. Korean government also is seeking ways to acquire a leadership for the knowledge-based industry in the world economy by expanding the investment in knowledge-based industry. However, a fundamental environment of this knowledge-based industry in Korea is not enough for a sustainable development. The Korean government only spent a lot of money on building complexes and physical infrastructures to the knowledge-based industry. In general, the development projects related to a creative industry are controlled by the government that tends to have the limits of operating and constructing for sufficient growth. In case of Korea, the cluster developments are concentrated near Seoul metropolitan area excessively, and moreover the cluster isn’t closely connected with city. These impede growth of both the knowledge-based industry and the development around a complex by causing problems such as a lack of housing and infrastructures and imbalance between cities. The case about a development of the creative industry in China is a lot different. China's economy is witnessing a rapid growth, which is one of the leading countries in the knowledge-based industry. This is not a coincidence to make a remarkable breakthrough in this field. Chinese government has fostered this knowledge-based industry for almost thirty years by stage since declaration of 863 programs, stated on High-Tech Development Plan by Deng Xiaoping. These programs were designed to stimulate the development of advanced technologies in a wide range of fields. In final, the programs to develop knowledge-based complex resulted in various investment from public, private, national and international and the economy in and around the region flourished. The purpose of this study is to find out the success factors of knowledge-based industrial complex development from the 4 development cases in provincial city in China 1) Dalian Tiandi, 2) Qingdao International Innovation Park, 3) Shanghai Knowledge and Innovation Community, 4) Shanghai Pudong Software Park. The result of this study can be utilized by developers from public or private for providing suggestive applications possibly related to knowledge- based development for a sufficient growth.

Chinese writings had been reprinted or translated after they were spread to Korean Peninsula. There were many scholars who made Chines writings localized by selection, adaptation, translation, annotation or recreation directly or not. To some extent, almost all Chinese writings in Korean had connection with China Culture. We can know how popular Chinese writings were from that. On the other side, it showed regional characters during spread time. It created more valuable treasures for Chinese writings. The types of Chinese writings in Korean which were recreated on the basis of the Chinese writings in china are extensive, including the history books which are useful for the country's rejuvenation and the Confucian classics which promote Confucianism, and agricultural books, medical books, military books which are close ties with grass-roots social life. The number of literary works is very large. The works were imitated, commented, selected, translated, and annotated from genre, subject matter to the creative form. We can see the spread style of the Chinese culture in different historical periods through these Chinese writings in Korean. At the same time we can see the Korean literati’s cultural orientation and cultural choice in different periods. Some of the Chinese writings have been lost in China, but they are saved in the form of commentaries, annotations, and interpretations. These Korean commentaries, annotations, and interpretations have important value in the history of philology and the history of cultural exchanges between China and Korea. These Korean writings created by Korean scholars on the basis of Chinese writings in China have been and will continue to be valued by both Chinese and Korean scholars and will promote a new round of academic exchanges in the 21st century.

The up and down of all organization and society generally depends upon the success or failure of management, which is determined mainly by ‘timeliness’ of strategic decision making. However, the concept of timeliness, grasping the point of kairos, will remain in the realm of human wisdom, no matter how sciences advance. This is the reason why we should learn about kairos or timeliness, and also the reason why we seek a broad answer out of I-Ching. And the gòuguà (姤卦) is the first of hexagrams of I-Ching which are concerned with kairos. In this paper we are trying to give a new perspective on the construal of hexagram statements and six line statements of gòuguà in the managerial point of view. The guàcí (卦辭) of I-Ching foretells the rise of new types of leadership assimilated in the image of heroines under the age of structural changes. The six yáocís of gòuguà (which means encounter) are related with the concurrence of the rise of new authority and new age. In the gòuguà, the wind of change comes out of the earth, while in the guānguà it comes out of heaven. So the guàcí of the two are starkly contradictory. And there are only two hexagram of gòuguà and tàiguà where its guàcí begins with “Posterior king takes it as follows:” Here we can find out there are two types of newly emerging future authorities by comparing them: One is revolutionary and pioneering leader of gòuguà, the other is succeeding and transformational one of tàiguà. Although both of them should keep it in their mind that the timeliness is the most important thing in exercising their leaderships.

Koreans Firms tried to find out the necessary and sufficient conditions under which international Joint Venture,can be a best investment channel. The necessary condition means the condition under which J.V is preferred to WOS.In choosing between J.V and WOS such channel choice factors were extracted as marketing synergy effect, financial and managerial synergy effect, strategic synergy effect. The resulting relationship is also as follows: the probability to choose J.V insteadof WOS as an investment channel to China was the higher when the firm has the moremotivation to acquire the synergy effect in marketing by utilizing the local partner’s experience and knowledge about local market and when it has the more motivation toacquire strategic synergy effect such as detouring tariff barriers by establishing a J.Vwith local firm. Here, the limitations of the theory that can be pointed out in this study. In addition, new research methods to overcome or even improve these limitations. First, since the number of sample data used in the regression analysis using the Logit model is small, it can only rely on the case by case method, so it can not ensure that the verification statistics of the whole regression model can be consciously grasped, only the significance of individual variables can be verified.Second, the failure to develop a research model that can influence the choice of two kinds of Korean enterprises to invest in China can only stay in the partial analysis. Thirdly, since it is difficult to find the appropriate subclinical variables for the determination of the relevant variables, many variables are subject to questioning importance or relative size by a five-point measure, with considerable limitations in interpreting the results of the analysis. This study is the strategic choice of Korean enterprises to invest in China. In the future, it is necessary to further study and analyze the cost / benefit of Korean companies' investment path to China, and to make more sense for Korean enterprises to invest in China.

Emotional design has been a hot research topic since the end of last century. Competition on usability of products has been changed to competition on emotional experience design. This study reviewed theories on emotion experience design including dimensions of emotion, how users responding to interactive products, levels of emotional experience, methods to measure emotion, and how to use them in user experience design. After the reviews, theories on cultures were introduced. Based on the comparison of cultural differences between Korea and China, researches on emotional experience design in both of these two countries were compared. According to Hofstede’s theory on culture dimensions, compared with China, Korea has higher scores on collectivism, femininity, uncertainty avoidance, and long term orientation. Most Koreans have relatively strong emotional links to their families. Regionalism and school relations are very important. Koreans’ adoption of new products is highly influenced by people around. Korean researchers concerned more about emotional interactions and emotional feedback of products. Compared with Korea, China has higher scores on power distance, individualism and masculinity. Chinese researchers concerned more about using traditional culture elements into emotional design. When using new technologies, Chinese users have relatively lower self-efficacy. Technical terminologies and English words may let users feel nervous and bring them negative emotional experience.

Cruise industry in Europe and the United States has a hundred years of development history.However, in recent years the European and American traditional cruise markets is becoming saturated, while the Asian cruise market is developing rapidly.The most important part of the Asian cruise industry is the development of the cruise industry in China.Since 2006, China has become the largest cruise market of Asia after only a decade of development. The development of China's cruise market has aroused great concern around the world's major cruise operators.Recently, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Costa Cruises, Genting HK as the representative of the foreign cruise enterprises opened up a new route from the China's ports, and continue to put in new cruises.At the same time, China's domestic cruise enterprises have also formed a certain scale.It is predicted that China's cruise market will become the Asia-Pacific region's most dynamic and largest cruise market in the recent future.However, there are still some problems to be solved in China’s cruise industry. In recent years, the economic and trade exchanges between China and Korea have become increasingly closer, the number of Chinese tourists to Korea is also growing year by year, some of which is to travel through the cruise to Korea.Therefore, it is important to study the development of China's cruise industry and explore cooperation between the two countries in the cruise industry. Based on the study of the development of cruise industry in China, this study has drawn the main problems existing in the cruise industry in China and put forward the cooperation suggestions between the two countries.

Zhuangzi’s thought is considered to be similar to Taoism. Also, there is a great deal of similarity in thoughts between Zhuangzi and Laozi. Likewise, sometime we use the name ‘Laozhuang’ by combining these two. However, a considerable number of claims exists, though scattered, that Zhuangi was a Confucian scholar. Thus, it is significant that we inquire about Zhuangzi’s thoughts in relation to Confucianism. In 「Tianxiapian」 I analyze ‘the narrative of Zhuangzi’ is analyzed. In this context one finds many strong hints of relationship between Zhuangzi and Confucianism. A great deal of evidence showsthat thoughts between the two are overlapping. Therefore, it is a mistake to separate the two and is imperative to study the two as the one overlappingthought. In the past scholars treated the philosophy of Zhuangzi superficially and accentuated the difference between Confucianism and Zhuangzi’s thoughts. As a result, Zhuangzi was erroneously thought to be an anti-Confucian thinker. The Confucian academia must correct this erroneous view. There is a need to rethink Confucian learnings from a new perspective to achieve a better understanding of Confucianism. This can be achieved by utilizing the method of ancient knowledge.

Current challenging but stressful business environments throughout the world call for a different yet moral and authentic leadership perspective and style. Enron cases and unethical CEO managerial practices have been criticized and more ethical and authentic leadership has been emphasized. The purpose of this study is to explore a mediating effect of participatory decision making upon the relationship between authentic leadership on job engagement and psychological ownership in China's small and medium-sized enterprises. For this, this study focused on examining the influential relationship among authentic leadership perceived by employees, employees' job engagement, and psychological ownership. In addition we tried to exam the mediating effect of participatory decision making upon the relationship. 215 employees who work for china's small and medium-sized enterprises as an employee participated in a questionnaire survey. The results of the research are summarized as follow. Frist, authentic leadership has a significant positive (+) effect on job engagement and psychological ownership and participatory decision making. Second, participatory decision making has a significant positive (+) effect on job engagement and psychological ownership. Third, participatory decision making has partially mediated effect on relationship between authentic leadership and job engagement, psychological ownership. In this study, the authentic leadership perceived by employee has a positive impact on job engagement and psychological ownership and participatory decision making. We can design a program to develop authentic leadership of leaders to ensure that employees are actively involved in participatory decision-making lead to raise the employees' job engagement and psychological ownership in China's small and medium-sized enterprises.
