This study is a measurement of effectiveness to a job process for the hospital information system (HIS) used in the hospital industry. Using the effectiveness scale that I developed in the questionnaire of the ISO9241-11 quality model, I measured the importance level of HIS and its significance on a job practices in the large general hospitals within the country. The questionnaire showed that the importance level of domestic HISs was highest in the system used by staffs(mean=3) and to reduce a job process and increase the efficiency of work.

In case of korea, it is said that the service of internet banking is in maturity regarding the number of transactions that internet banking process. So it is necessary to find out the factors that influence customer"s trust on bank with the use of internet banking, to preserve existing customers. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the internet banking service quality on trust of banks. For this purpose, eight hypotheses are empirically tested using logistic regression. The empirical results indicated that responsiveness, easy of use, and accuracy from the six dimensions of internet banking service quality factors take significant effect on trust of bank.

This research investigated how people are influenced to adopt online review. We applied the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM) and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to this study. Our research model highlights the assessment of online review usefulness as a mediator from online review quality to online review adoption. This research predicted online review consensus has a role to bulid up online reviw usefulness. This study also includes vividness and perceived similarity as determinants of online review quality. Survey data reflect user’s perceptions of actual online review they read. Results support most of research hypotheses except hypothesis related to moderating effect of user involvement. This research offers a model for understanding online review user’s acceptance. Additional theoretical and practical implications are also discussed in the paper.

Microblog services are such new communication channels with some considerable potential to improve information sharing. The idea of sharing short messages using multiple access points seems to be appealing to people worldwide. Through the lens of flow and social identity, we explored factors that influence information sharing behaviors in microblog services. With an empirical study, we examined enjoyment and concentration(flow) and self-presentation(social identity) in microblog services like twitter can contribute to the user behaviors. Our aim was to gain insight into ways of creating an environment that facilitating voluntary sharing of information. Our findings suggested that enjoyment, concentration, and selfpresentation were crucial determinants of information sharing behaviors in microblog services. This study has important implications for academic researchers and practitioners who seek to understand why microblog service users share their information with other members in microblog services.

With the rising reliance on market estimation through customer analysis in customer-centered marketing, there is a rapid increase in the amount of personal data owned by corporations. There has been a corresponding rise in the customers" interest in personal information protection, and the problem of personal information leakage has risen as a serious issue. The purpose of this research is to develop a diagnosis model for personal information protection that is suited to our country"s corporate environment, and on this basis, to present diagnostic instruments that can be applied to domestic corporations. This diagnosis model is a structural equation model that schematizes the degree of synthetic effect that administration factors and estimation items have on the protection of personal information owned by corporations. We develop the model- consisting of the administration factors for personal information protection and the measurement items of each factor- using the development method of standardized structural equation model. We then present a tool through which the administration factors and estimation items verified through this model can be used in the diagnosis for personal information protection in corporations. This diagnostic tool can be utilized as a useful instrument to prevent in advance the leakage of personal information in corporations.

This study investigated consumer preferences for Internet medical information service in China using the multi-attribute utility theory. The multi-attribute utility theory is a compositional approach for modeling consumer preferences wherein researchers calculate the overall service utility by summing up the evaluation results for each attribute. We found that Chinese Internet medical information users consider the availability of information and quick response to be the most important attributes. Further, they think that the comment feature is less important as compared to other attributes such as costs and updates. In addition, we found that the Internet users having more Internet experience consider these attributes to be more important as compared to the people who are just beginning to surf the Internet. For any successful Internet business, Internet marketers should assess individual-level preference and accordingly organize a fresh campaign. As of now, Internet marketers need estimation methods to predict the market performance of new services in many different business environments. We believe that the multi-attribute utility theory is a useful approach in this regard.

Compared to research on the success of IT projects in general, research on the management of conflict in IT teams and its impact on project success is insufficient. This research performed a comparative study to analyze the nature and evolving phenomenon of conflicts in IT project teams. This study aimed at; First, Why a conflict is created within and around an IT project team. Second, What is the phenomenon of conflict evolution, diffusion, and/or resolution? Third, How the differences in conflict management style affects the IT project performance? Three propositions were drawn from the analysis of two intensive analysis of conflict cases and their comparison. Proposition 1 : Both "the method of pointing out a problem" and "the pointed-out contents" can be the trigger of conflicts around an IT project. Proposition 2 : While the focus of attention of one party is "the method of pointing out a problem", if the other"s and focus of attention of one party is "the pointed-out contents", that is, if the focus of attention mismatch, the conflict can be amplified. Proposition 3 : According to the temporal nature of the relationship, e.g., short-term versus long-term, the way people approach and deal with the conflict differs.

The major purpose of this study is to identify the factors influencing the implementation performance of ERP Systems from an integrated viewpoint. For this purpose, a research model is developed based on the literature reviews of ERP systems, contingency theory, and change management theory. The research model proposed fifteen variables as the factors influencing the implementation performance in the ERP systems. The data have been collected from the 164 enterprises which implemented ERP systems at least one year ago. The respondents were person in charge of ERP system of each corporation. The results of hypothesis testing through multiple regression analysis are summarized as follows. Firstly, standardization of work, concentration of decision making, top management concern and support, real user participation, project support goodness, ease of use, and system usefulness have positive influence upon non-financial performance. Secondly, market uncertainty, industrial competition, project support goodness, and customization minimization have positive influence upon financial performance. From the analysis, this research have identified important characteristics for the successful implementation of ERP systems. Consequently, this research ends with managerial and theoretical implications of the study results, as well as limitations and future research directions.

New internet trend, such as Web 2.0, has brought about new roles of users and changes in the web ecosystem. In the age of information overload like nowadays, activities in the brand community sites help to make more reasonable decisions in choosing certain brands and products. In order to examine organizational strategic aspects of brand community, this study examine (1) what difference exists in user satisfaction according to the brand community types (the user-initiated type and the corporate-established type), and (2) which dimensions of service quality affect brand community users’ satisfaction. Research findings show that types of brand community influence perceived user satisfaction, and tangibility, reliability, interactivity, and stability dimensions of service quality make a positive influence on user satisfaction as well. Practical implications for managing brand community sites in marketing perspectives are further discussed.

The literature reveals that service quality is critical determinants affecting customer satisfaction in the retail industry. Recent online B2C studies also show that service quality significantly influences online customer satisfaction. However, research on analyzing antecedents to determine the service quality level of online shopping has not been sufficiently reported. Moreover, the offline synergy effect on the Internet shopping mall has been presented mostly at a conceptual level. The purpose of this study is to investigate key managerial variables exploiting offline synergy, including pure online attributes, that impact on service quality of the click and mortar Internet shopping mall. A survey was conducted for empirical validation of the hypotheses. The results indicate that core offline synergy factors significantly enhance the perceived service quality level of the Internet shopping mall. Implications, limitations, and future research directions are also discussed.

Considering time-lag in the performance evaluation of information system (IS) investment is important because its effect reveals after certain period of time passed. Particularly it is more in the systems of e-government informatization projects which the amount of investment and the scale of business are huge. Many methods to solve this issue have been proposed such as system dynamics methods, simulations, structural equations etc. However, it is still difficult and unsolved problem because collecting practical data for time-lag analysis is very hard. In this paper, we analyze IS time-lag effect through factor analysis using the accumulated practical operational DB data. For the performance evaluation of the G4C system, the representative e-government web portal, we selected eleven factors reflecting time passing in G4C DB data. With these factors this paper conduct time-lag analysis in four view points. First, we conducted ‘Stabilizing of G4C system’ and got a result that IS is needed about three years for the stabilization. Second, we conducted "Utilization of G4C system" and got a result that the utilization reaches appropriate level after in three years later after the introduction of G4C system. Third, we conducted "Cost reduction effect" and got a result that cost reduction is stable in the third year after the introduction of G4C system. Lastly, we conducted "System maturity effect" and got a result that the system reaches to the quality level that users expect after third to fourth years. According to the results of this research, we found that performance of IS improv continuously not immediately, and it needs three or four years of time-lag.

Defense R&D is an essential investment for the national security. Recently our nation has also begun to initiate a number of defense R&D projects. As a lot of fund and resources are allocated to these projects, we need to identify which projects to initiate and then how to manage these projects well. Though there have been a number of studies on R&D projects in commercial sector, there are only a few studies in defense R&D sector. Moreover, these existing defense R&D studies mainly deal with the former issues, which are occurring at the stage of project planing. We are more concerned with project management issues, such as how to manage projects that had already been evaluated to undertake at the planning stage. Specifically our study aims to identify project management factors leading to the success of defense R&D projects. Results of the empirical analysis indicate that management support, user-driven requirements management, and project planning capability are key elements for project performance.

Since XML emerged as a standard for data exchange on the web, it has been widely used for applications like e-Commerce, CRM, and BI. However, it is common that most of business data is stored in relational database systems, and it is expected that business data management would still be centered around the relational database systems. As such, the technique of viewing relational data as XML and processing XML queries against it is required. To meet such a need, in the SQL/XML standard, the functions to publish relational data as XML are provided. In this paper, we propose the techniques of providing an XML view of relational data defined by an SQL/XML statement in DTD(Document Type Definition), and of processing XPath queries against the XML view by translating them into SQL/XML statements, and describe the validation of such techniques through implementation and tests.
Automated Enterprise Data Model by Formulating Requirements

Although some CASE tools supported conceptual data design, they required for users too much preliminary knowledge to learn how to use and handle them. In addition, in a number of studies on conceptual data design with natural language, they claimed passive participation for users with conforming to messages predefined by CASE tools. As an alternative to these traditional CASE tools, we proposed an ERD formulator for automated data design tool, called ERDF, so that even ordinary users, not necessarily data modeler, are capable of formulating ERD on business requirements by use of ERDF. We, first of all, introduced NSM as the standard methodology. We also designed the structure of ERDF including main controller, input controller, operation controller, regulation controller, schema controller, and output controller. We then defined conceptual domains and basic operations to lay down schema operations as well as sentence rules to handle input sentence in natural language. To get an ERD that is faithful to business requirements, we laid out supplementary design for dialogue and confirmation of soundness and completion.
