Software is not only control and operational technology of computer, various system, and machines, but also knowledge handling and service technology for production, storage, and utilization of digital information. Many nations invest enormous budget in SW R&D to acquire core and original technology, and commercialize. To select and concentrate on SW R&D investment by segmenting diverse functions and element technologies consisting of sw technology, introduction of evaluation and analysis methodology on technology level utilizing reliable patent and bibliometrics is demanded these days. The purpose of this paper is to suggest some analysis frameworks of national technology level in the field of sw technology. Another practical purpose is to verify sw technology policy using qualitative and quantative indicators of patent and bibliometrics.
사회적 지원기능이 브랜드 개설 SNS 페이지 소비자 수용에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Many companies are now trying to utilize SNS (social network service) by building it as marketing communication platform that delivers marketing messages and builds customer relationship. This study investigates the factors affecting consumers' intention to use of brand's SNS identity page (e.g., fan page in Facebook). It specifically focuses on four social support functions -self-esteem, informational, emotional and social networking support-in virtual space. Research model attempts to explore the impact of social supports on brands' SNS identity page adoption with modified technology acceptance model which includes perceived usefulness, ease of use and enjoyment. Empirical study adopts SEM (structural equation modelling) to test research model. The result indicates that perceived ease of use is influenced by informational support, and perceived usefulness is influenced by informational, emotional, and self-esteem support. And perceived enjoyment is influenced by emotional support. In addition, it reveals that there were no significant effects of social networking support on both perceived usefulness and enjoyment. These findings provide managerial implications for attracting potential and actual customers to brand's SNS identity page. And it also suggests the importance of managing sociability in brand's SNS identity page to make it as marketing communication platform.

As the dependence on information systems in enterprises has grown dramatically, the importance of implementing information systems in audit has been increased as well. However, there is a lact of about utilization of information system for audit process. Thus, this study is to investigate the factors that effect auditor’s adopting Data Analytics to audit work. Through literature research and focus group interview, we added two factors that affect the behavioral intention to UTAUT model. We have selected performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, anxiety, task fit, behavioral intention as variables and verified hypotheses based on survey questionnaires from auditors. As a result, it was found that performance expectations, social influence, task fit influenced the behavior intention. In Addition, we analyzed adding two variables, IT-related work experience and type of auditor as moderate variable. This study has an implication for companies to motivate implementation as well as activation of Data Analytics technique.

In general universal service in telecommunications means a regulatory tool to secure the availability of basic communication services like fixed telephony at an affordable price throughout a country. A re-evaluation of the scope of existing universal service, however, is becoming a core issue as the penetration and usage of broadband and mobile communications matures and a new ICT ecosystem emerges. This study examined whether the universal service polices in Korea need adapting and updating to include broadband and mobile telephony in the universal service, which is based on the necessary and sufficient conditions derived from previous research and foreign countries’ experiences : geographical ubiquity of a certain service and the market’s ability to provide the service. The result shows the nationwide ubiquity of broadband and mobile communications exists but the ultimate goal pursued by universal service polices trying to make them available and affordable for all is being fulfilled by market dynamics in Korea. Thus, the inclusion of both services in the scope of universal service is regarded as an unnecessary regulation at present time and the expansion of universal service could be addressed as a long-term issue depending on market conditions in the future.

As the range of the customer choice becomes more diverse, the average life span of companies’ products and services is becoming shorter. Most companies are striving to maximize the revenue by understanding the customer’s needs and providing customized products and services. However, companies had to bear a significant burden, in terms of the time and cost involved in the process of determining each individual customer’s needs. Therefore, an alternative method is employed that involves grouping the customers into different categories based on certain criteria and establishing a marketing strategy tailored for each group. In this way, customer segmentation and customer clustering are performed using demographic information and behavioral information. Demographic information included sex, age, income level, and etc., while behavioral information was usually identified indirectly through customers’ purchase history and search history. However, there is a limitation regarding companies’ customer behavioral information, because the information is usually obtained through the limited data provided by a customer on a company’s website. This is because the pattern indicated when a customer accesses a particular site might not be representative of the general tendency of that customer. Therefore, in this study, rather than the pattern indicated through a particular site, a customer’s interest is identified using that customer’s access record pertaining to external news. Hence, by utilizing this method, we proposed a methodology to perform customer segmentation. In addition, by extracting the main issues through a topic analysis covering approximately 3,000 Internet news articles, the actual experiment applying customer segmentation is performed and the applicability of the proposed methodology is analyzed.
Analysis of the Impact of Mobile Office Technology on Organizational Collaboration

The rapid deployment of smart mobile equipments such as mobile phones and mobile note pads is considered a driving force to change several aspects of today’s work life in organizations. Among all, this paper focuses on organizational collaboration as collaboration is a key aspect of organizational performance and success and is considered to be affected by digitally mediated communication. A questionnaire survey was performed to analyze the impact of the use of modern mobile office technology on productivity increase under the context of organizational collaboration. Some specific functions of mobile office technology were found to significantly affect the productivity. In addition, different requirements for desired collaboration were found to be associated with the use of different functions of mobile office technology and different situational use of the technology. Organizational and technical implications of the findings are discussed.

This study aims to provide the results of a case study, based on the action research approach, in which an user-oriented management system for enterprise information systems operational performance is successful developed and applied. This study performs the research and summarizes the results by adopting 5-step approach of action research, i.e., diagnosing, action planning, action taking, evaluating and specifying learning. The most important lessons learned from the study include (1) operation performance measures should be established to be shared by the management and users; (2) evaluation and improvement activities should be performed continually; and (3) formula to calculate the measure should be evolved so that improvement initiatives can be identified. The results of the study are expected to provide the companies intending to develop a management system for enterprise information systems operational performance with the practical and useful information. In addition, it is expected to suggest the research results that can be utilized as a basis for future research in this area.
Globalizing Information Systems Alignment : Strategic Thrust and Local Responsiveness

Environmental differences across countries such as socio-cultural, political, economic, and technological differences require business strategies of multinational corporations to vary business practices across regions. Despite the keen awareness of the necessity for strategic adaptation to local context, IS management and strategy tend to remain similar across countries. One of the reasons is to maintain the stability and compatibility of information technology infrastructure. After a careful observation of retail business practice, this study finds IS strategy should also be highly responsive to the local context. This study shows how information resources including systems architecture, processes, human resources, and national context are interlinked together. Despite global excellence in general systems management, failure in such alignment can be a serious problem in extending competitive advantages across regions. This study aims to reveal issues to be taken care of in order to accomplish global technological alignment. Results of this study provide senior management with guidelines and a framework for aligning IT with regional strategic thrust that can improve local responsiveness of multinational companies.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship among factors that expand the win-win growth between domestic finished goods-making manufacturers and subcontractors. One-hundred twenty six firms participated for this study and were used for the data analysis. As a result of analysis, first, it was found that the win-win growth between first-tier suppliers and second- tier suppliers has positive effects on the win-win growth made by second-tier suppliers helping the third- tier suppliers. Second, it was found that the win-win growth policies supported by the government for the positive relationship between first-tier suppliers and second-tier suppliers for the finished goods- making manufacturers have positive effects on the win-win growth between second-tier suppliers and third-tier suppliers. Third, the results also showed that the win-win growth between second-tier suppliers and third- tier suppliers has a positive influence both on the financial and on the non-financial performances of the second-tier suppliers. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended to (1) construct infrastructure by sector through partnership between finished goods-making manufacturers and subcontractors, (2) draw in active support through the governmental win-win growth policies, (3) induce increasing productivities through information sharing, manpower support, technical support and educational support, and (4) strengthen and cultivate the culture of the small- and medium-sized companies.
