The purpose of this study is to identify the quality of life (QOL) and factors influencing the QOL in middle-aged and elderly cancer patients. Among the 2019 data of the Korea Health Panel, data from 498 adults over the age of 40 who were diagnosed with cancer by doctors were analyzed. As a result of the study, the mean QOL of middle-aged cancer patients was 0.90 (±0.09) and that of elderly cancer patients was 0.86 (±0.12). The QOL of middle-aged cancer patients was significantly higher than that of elderly cancer patients. Factors influencing the QOL of middle-aged cancer patients were subjective health status, anxiety, suicidal ideation, and bedridden status. Factors influencing the QOL of elderly cancer patients were subjective health status, bedridden status, economic activity, education level, regular physical activity, stress, and age. In order to improve the QOL of middle-aged and elderly cancer patients, along with interest in the QOL of middle-aged and elderly cancer patients, it is necessary to develop an age-specific intervention program, such as reducing anxiety and suicidal ideation for middle-aged cancer patients, and improving regular physical activity and reducing stress for elderly cancer patients.

This study aims to analyze the effect of absorptive capacity on technology collaboration performance and the moderating effect of innovation intermediaries. We set absorptive capacity (potential, realized) as independent variables and technology collaboration performance (relative technology level, development period, cost savings, new product development, collaboration satisfaction) as dependent variables, with innovation intermediaries as a moderating variable. We conducted a survey of 145 ICT companies that experienced technology collaboration and analyzed the data using 101 valid responses. The results show that potential absorptive capacity has a significant effect on new product development and collaboration satisfaction, while realized absorptive capacity has a significant effect on relative technology level, cost savings, and new product development. Furthermore, innovation intermediaries have a moderating effect between realized absorptive capacity and new product development. The contribution of this study to academia and industry is that it highlights absorptive capacity as a key factor influencing technology collaboration performance. The limitations of this study include the lack of accurate measurement of absorptive capacity and innovation intermediaries, as well as a lack of control over external factors. These limitations should be addressed through more in-depth research by systematically defining and measuring them in future follow-up studies.

With the development of e-commerce, live streaming e-commerce, as an emerging marketing method, is on the rise. It integrates various ways of information delivery, providing consumers with unprecedented shopping experiences, particularly through its interactive nature, which can increase audience engagement and immersion. This study delves into how interactive elements in live streaming e-commerce influence consumer emotions and purchase intentions. By employing literature review and empirical analysis methods, we analyzed various interactive factors in the live streaming e-commerce environment and revealed the process through which these factors stimulate audience emotions and lead to specific purchasing behaviors. The results confirm that the interactive appeal of live streaming e-commerce significantly influences consumers' positive emotional responses, consequently enhancing purchase intentions. This study aims to explore the relationship between the interactive features of live streaming e-commerce and consumer emotional responses and purchase intentions, thereby filling theoretical gaps in the field of live streaming e-commerce and proposing new marketing theories. Additionally, by analyzing how interactive features stimulate consumers, optimal live content strategies can be proposed for live streaming e-commerce platforms and hosts, thus aiding in the improvement of marketing strategies and sales effectiveness.

Internet of Things (IoT) is a term that has been introduced in recent years, and it defines objects being able to connect and transfer data through the internet. Although some IoT-related products are currently available in the market, there are still some IoT problems that need to be overcome, such as the technology issues and lack of confidence and understanding of IoT. This study aims to analyze the influential factors in building successful IoT system for smart supply chain. This study develops the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to evaluate the influential factors in IoT. This study finds that tangible factors (Technology, Value and Connectivity) are more important than the intangible factors (Operation and Intelligence). Finally, this study concludes that after enterprises build a good IoT connectivity system, it is essential to combine this with good IoT technology to create a successful IoT environment. The findings may help practitioners implement IoT in smart supply chains to deal with disruptions, risks and vulnerabilities in the post-pandemic era.
