The purpose of this study is to figure out the effects of advertisements (functional value, sentimental value, self-expressing value) depending on the gender in regard of the attitude towards the advertisement, brand attitude, purchase intention, and the characteristic and quality of the product. From the study on the university students, there was a meaningful interaction among the independent variables in regard of attitude towards advertisement, brand attitude, purchase intention, and characteristic of the product in the four dependent measurements used for the index of advertisement effects. In terms of the attitude towards advertisements, brand attitude, purchase intention, and the characteristic of the product according to the gender and value suggestion, functional convenience was more influential for men compared to the sentimental convenience and self-expressing value. On the other hand, self-expressing value was more influential for women in terms of the advertisement effect and the characteristic of the product. The main effects depending on the gender were common in four dependent values such as attitude towards advertisement, brand attitude, purchase intention and characteristic of the product, and the average of all values was higher from women. Thereby, it can be said that women show more positive advertisement effects in terms of attitude and purchase than men. The main effects on the value suggestion were meaningfully indicated in advertisement attitude, brand attitude, and characteristic of the product except the purchase intention. Also, the functional and self-expressing value made better advertisement effect, while the sentimental value showed a comparatively lower advertisement effect. In terms of the sentimental value, a comparatively low advertisement effect was shown statistically compared to the functional and self-expressing value in all dependent values, but there was no big difference depending on the gender. That is, in terms of the sentimental value, a separate value suggesting advertisement can be more influential when it is combined with the functional value for men, and for women if it is combined with self-expressing value.

Recently, the internet and mobile telecommunication is proliferating rapidly in the whole world. In accordance with this, people have growing desire to use the internet without the limitation of the space; as a result, the mobile internet users are incredibly increased. However, the established study about the mobile internet emphasize the technical aspects. Therefore, this studies finds the significant factors that affect the use of mobile internet service. This study suggests the enterprises getting the service direction which they will use as a strategy in the future. In order to do this, the study examines the factors which can affect the using of the mobile internet service and analyzes the established study about the quality of the information system and the internet service. The result of the survey shows that the factors affecting the use of the mobile internet service are the stability of the system, the convenience of the system, and the response of the service. It also appears that the satisfaction of the mobile internet service affects the attention of the users to using the mobile internet service. The five theories are selected from the ten creative theories, these explain that it is a little unreasonable to design the model which is related to the prior study of the information systems. It will be more deeply scrutinized to analyze the effect of the satisfaction and the utilization of the users through the quality of the information contents.

개인사업자의 조세회피성향에 관한 실증분석

The purpose of this study is to contribute to a fundamental prevention of tax avoidance behaviors by individual businesses. For the purpose, this researcher surveyed factors surveyed individual business managers' disposition(type) of tax avoidance to determine factors influencing the avoidance, and proposed direction for further studies. Several hypotheses suggested here were verified to find that factors such as tax system, tax psychology, tax knowledge, social culture and the expectation of tax avoidance had effects on individual businesses' disposition of such avoidance. The multiple regression analysis made here showed that such factors as tax psychology, tax system and the expectation of tax avoidance affected the disposition of such avoidance and that the disposition was most influenced by tax system, followed by the expectation of tax avoidance and tax psychology in order. In conclusion, factors that have positive relations with tax avoidance, or tax burden and tax administration and those that have negative relations, or tax ethics and sanction are not helpful to preventing the avoidance. This is not consistent with previous results. Now behaviors of tax avoidance by individual businesses are prevailing and becoming more serious. In this sense, objective measurement devices should be developed to make possible further scientific studies about such behaviors. For the development, support by appropriate policies is needed.

Thus, to change our country into advanced economy, the factor of growth obstacles was to be eliminated, or it is so important that the physical distribution base establishment enlarges to improve potential productivity. That is, self effort is needed for physical distribution competition system, adjustable arrangement of physical distribution area, the establishment of comprehensive informations system, physical distribution rationalization. Also, to enforce harbor productivity, harbor should be developed systemically to able to function of comprehensive harbor for enlargement of harbor establishment, the device of advanced harbor function height, the linkage between and city program, harbor operation or investment system provement, harbor technique or international cooperation advancement.

인터넷은 한국사회 전반에 많은 변화를 초래하였다. 인터넷이 빠르게 확산되어 2004년 말에 인터넷 이용자 3,000만 명 시대를 열었고 이동전화, 초고속 인터넷 등 새로운 정보기술이 보편적으로 활용되는 단계에 이르렀다. 그에 따라 개인 홈페이지가 커뮤니케이션의 새로운 수단으로 자리 잡았고, 이에 따른 새로운 네티즌 문화를 탄생시켰다. 사회문화적 측면에서 그동안 정보화가 창출한 가장 큰 변화는 조직사회의 변화, 교육환경의 변화, 문화생활의 변화를 들 수 있다. 인터넷이 조직사회에 미친 영향은 전통적인 연공서열식 피라미드형 조직구조가 새로운 네트워크형 조직으로 발전하였으며, 노동시장도 장소에 구애받지 않고 이동원격근무(mobile Office)로 발전하는 추세이다. 그리고 교육환경은 가상공간을 통한 다양한 교육정보 접근기회를 확대하고 있으며, 사람들의 사고방식, 생활양식, 가치관의 변화도 수반하고 있다. 반면에 인터넷 사회는 한국사회 전반의 변화와 함께 정보화의 역기능 현상도 다양하고 광범위하게 확산되고 있다. 인터넷이라는 온라인상에서 다양한 주제로 서로 만나고 정보를 교환하는 사이버 공동체(Cyber Community)는 온라인 공간에 한정되는 것이 아니라 현실공간으로 확장되어 나타나고 있으며, 인터넷 중독문제는 개인뿐만 아니라 가정과 사회에도 부정적 영향을 끼치고 있을 뿐만 아니라 안티사이트도 진정한 대안문화로 자리 잡지 못하고 인터넷의 익명성을 이용해 무차별적인 비방과 욕설이 난무한 과도기적 현상을 보이고 있다. 이제 인터넷은 한국사회의 모든 것과 깊은 관련을 맺는 매우 중요한 일부분이 된 것이다. 인터넷은 20세기 공학기술이 성취한 위대한 업적 중의 하나이다. 인터넷은 단순히 정보화 사회를 실현하는 것이 아니라 인간의 삶의 가치, 생활의 편익 등을 증대한다는 믿음 때문이다. 한편 현실은 여러 가지 역기능이 함께 나타나고 있다. '네티즌 윤리강령'까지 선포했지만, 진정한 네티즌 윤리는 강령을 선포했다고 저절로 확립되는 것이 아니다. 네티즌 각자의 실천의지가 있어야 한다. 인류가 새로운 이상향이라고 추구하는 가상사회는 윤리적인 사고와 행동으로 질서를 유지하지 못하면 인류의 밝은 미래는 보장할 길이 없다. 21세기 정보화 사회, 인터넷 사회를 맞이한 우리는 이 세상을 참으로 살기 좋은 세상으로 만들어야 할 고귀한 책무를 안고 있다. 아무리 험한 길, 어려운 과제라 할지라도 그 목표를 잃어서는 안 되며, 그 해답을 얻는 노력을 결코 게을리 해서는 안 된다.

병원경영의 수익성 결정요인에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study was to analyze a trend of profitability classified by characteristics of hospitals and to analyze related factors. The data for this study were derived from survey material conducted by the Korean Hospital Association on 33 hospitals in Korea between 1993 and 2002. Profitability was measured in the aspect of investment profit rate and operation profit rate with net profit to total assets, normal profit to total assets and operating margin to gross revenue as dependent variables. Independent variables were classified by general factors (ownership, number of beds, period of establishment, region), financial factors (total asset turnover, liabilities to total assets, current ratio, fixed ratio, inventories turnover, personnel costs per operation profit, material costs per operation profits), composition of manpower and facilities(personnel and area per beds), productivity index(the number of daily patients per medical doctor, the number of daily patients per nurse), the score of quality assurance activities. First, Concerning the specialists per beds or area per beds and profitability of hospitals there was not statistically significant. Second, Those hospitals having the most daily patients per nurse had significantly higher profitability than the others, but the number of daily patients per medical doctor had little effect on the profitability. Thirds, Those hospitals having a higher proportion total asset turnover tended to show significantly higher profitability compared to other hospitals, but the liabilities to total assets and liquidity ratio had a little difference to the profitability. Those hospitals having a higher proportion personnel costs per operation profit and material costs per operation profits tended to show significantly lower hospital profitability compared to other hospitals. Fourth, In regression analysis, hospital profitability had negative relationship with personnel costs per operation profit or material costs per operation profits. While it had positive relationship with total asset turnover, the number of daily patients per nurse. In conclusion, private hospitals had higher profitability than that of public hospitals. Though factors related to profitability of hospital were different according to ownership, it is important for securing appropriate profitability by operating appropriate number of nurse, raising total asset turnover, and reducing personnel costs, material costs per operation profits. This study can be used as a baseline data for planning of hospital management. But the study may be limited in that the results cannot be generalized due to its small sample size. However, this longitudinal observation of 33 hospitals over ten year period has significant merit alone.

In the 1990s, university environment is changing rapidly(especially, difficulty of student registration which are originated student's decrease and various deregulation) and university get ready for the new ways of management culture. This new ways are management innovation strategies. The purpose of this study is to suggest the direction of effective innovation(to search application possibility of management innovation strategy), solving the problems occurred by the enlargement and change in the environments of universities. From early in the 1990s, korean corporations perform actively many management innovation strategy including benchmarking, restructuring, downsizing, zero-based budgeting, BPR, learn organization and total quality management. But korean most universities performed hardware management innovation strategies such as corporate portfolio restructuring(including outsourcing, M&A, MBO etc.) and organization restructuring. Therefore korean universities have got to concerns about more software management innovation strategy such as total quality management and learn organization. Also we have seen another problems such as that universities try to merely duplicate certain management innovation strategies which are used by another university. rather than to make various effort to adequate their own organizations. In conclusion, korean universities are to play an important roles in the development of knowledge society. The management innovation and individual competence development in the university are required to overcome crisis of university.

지식전환선호도와 직무특성이 직무유효성에 미치는 영향

As the importance of intellectual assets has been brought into relief, this study aims at positively verifying where the intellectual workers' overall level of their knowledge conversion preference and their job character has reached, and how much the knowledge conversion preference, the job character and the fitness of both factors affects the job effectiveness respectively. For this purpose 3 types of research hypotheses were set up and the result of the verification of the hypotheses is summarized as follows: First, the verification of the relation between the knowledge conversion preference and the job effectiveness revealed that the workers who have the higher synthetic ability in knowledge conversion preference show the higher job satisfaction and job product. Secondly, the verification of the relation between the MPS representing the job character by measured index and the job satisfaction revealed that the absolute value of relative coefficient between the 4 factors excluding the public welfare factor and the MPS is 4, interpreted as medium correlation. Thirdly, the analysis on the degree of relation between the job product measured by the quality of job result and the input effort and the MPS showed that the absolute value of person relative coefficient is 5, interpreted not only as medium correlation but also very meaningful. Accordingly, the main purpose of this study was to give a guideline which can be utilized as an indicator for educating, training and placing the workers. As results, the main effect that the variable of knowledge conversion preference and job character chosen as the independent variable influences on the dependent variable of job satisfaction and job product is very meaningful except the public welfare factor.

Recently, most enterprises are having a knowlege management boom. A number of books associated with the knowlege management are being published, countless public seminars are held, and many research councils have been organized studying it formally or informally as if not importing the system is like falling behind a fashion. However, there are not many cases that achieved success by constructing the system of knowledge management. Then, why the knowledge management is not so much effective despite so many voices wanting the change of management system and a lot of public lectures about it? I guess the reason is that most companies do not have concrete methodology. Seeing a result of a survey which reported that with spread of venture boom and successful examples being known widely, the outflow of precious human resources is accelerated and a large number of employees of conglomerates have already resigned or are considering separation from their positions, we can realize that are occurring a change which can be nearly called severance in an occupational view and an organization culture. The preference to a large enterprise or a public institution of labor is low today and the notion about a lifelong job is regarded as past remains. As for this, it could be said that the social atmosphere that pursued the stability of a job has been changed to the practical one that attaches importance to ability and pay. The way of thinking of employees has been changed while established organizations cannot satisfy their desire and this explains why important members of a company are flown out. The reason why superior human resources move to venture businesses is that they can do their likable work and also prove their ability as well as unconventional rewards. Although existing companies are trying to preserve important human resources through performance compensating stock option, temporary patching up of personnel management cannot retard the rushing wind of foundation and the outflow of labor. On the contrary, clumsy import of performance-based reward system not only fails to hire superior labor power but also can bring about a sense of incompatibility and conflicts among the remaining employees. Therefore, this thesis, focusing on how to choose, develop, and maintain the human resources, will suggest a future-aiming human resources management model of Korean enterprises after comparing and analyzing the actual condition of domestic companies and the trends of advanced corportaions.

Although shoes industry in Korea is superior in global competition in terms of material, parts, and developmental ability, it has declined due to the lack of design in consideration of OEM production and marketing ability. Shoes industry in Korea has aimed at making inroad to North American market centered with the United States, but it has not focused on Europe market that much. However, as Europe transformed into EU, which is a large economic community, European market is being considered as a great potential for Korean shoes industry, which we can never neglect of. So far, there have been researches of marketing strategic methods to make inroad to the United States and South-East Asian markets, but there has been almost no marketing approach to European shoes market. Therefore, in this study I prepare strategic marketing plans for Korean shoes enterprises to make inroads to European markets, so that they can enter the market successfully, and this is the purpose of this study. In case that Korean shoes industry makes inroads to European market, there are important terms to examine. The strategic terms for consideration to examine are as follows. First, shoes companies such as Nike and Adidas are aware of India. Turkey, and Rumania as new footholds for production, as they have accounted continuous wage claim and labor dispute. Especially Turkey and Rumania are expected to have much competitive strength in price, as they are expected countries for joining EU. Second, we need to shift our understanding of the importance of design for European shoes market. We should pay close attention to the fact that the role of leading companies is to design. Third, Germany, England, and Italy have global-level of specialize institutions and organizations for shoes education and have been succeeded in knowledge industrialization. Fourth, we should consider that the concepts for shoes are changing from innovation in production to in products. Fifth, we should develop specialized concept centered in individualized categories. Sixth, we should open up new markets actively by connecting large shopping centers and multi-shops. Seventh, we should look for the opportunities to expand market through the utilization of BIFOS. Lastly, we should expand our support for opening up markets and participating fairs in foreign countries.
