환율변동성이 베트남의 무역수지에 미치는 실증적 영향 : DYNARDL 모형 분석

This study investigate the effect of exchange rate volatility on trade balance for Vietnam during the period of 2010 from first quarter to the 2021 second quarter. The dynamic simulations of autoregressive distributed lag (DYNARDL) approach is applied to analyze positive and negative changes on trade balance of exchange rate volatibility, finalcial development, financial globalization and economic growth in Vietnam. The conditional variance of the generalized autoregressive conditional heteroskedasticity (GARCH) model is used to estimate the exchange rate volatility. The results indicated a significant positive effect of real exchange rate volatility on Viet Nam’s balance trade while there was no effect of nominal exchange rate volatility.

This study aims to broaden the understanding of transportation mode choice patterns in the field of international logistics by analyzing the Korean export air cargo in detail at the basic item level(HS CODE 6-unit) of international merchandise trade. The study also aims to gain implications for competitive and complementary relationships with other modes. In addition, the study identifies techniques to explore export products that undergo exceptional changes before and after periods of severe shocks to the global economy and provides interpretations of key features and discussions for further research. The need for research that accurately analyzes the patterns and changes in the choice of various modes of transportation will be even greater in the future, focusing on medium-level technology industries, where competition between modes of transportation is most active.

In the food industry, which is particularly sensitive to consumer preferences, local cultural conditions, and regulations of a host government, it is important to execute a suitable global management strategy by combining of standardization and localization in overseas markets. Based on the successful case of Jongga Kimchi in global market, this study examined major roles of global management strategies in term of brand, supply chain, and product perspectives. From this approach, this study provides several practical implications about how to manage global management programs for Korean food companies planning to enter overseas markets. Specially, this study shows one further step of building brand identity, by Jongga’s strategic actions appealing to global consumers with the Korean culture that contains the national identity, not only for the kimchi as a single good.

Major developed countries have been trying to build a block of the global semiconductor industry supply chain by considering their interests first. And their supply chain due diligence agreement demands the due diligence on environmental risks that may occur throughout the supply chain. So the integrated approach called supply chain ESG is needed. But there is not yet to be a global standard for ESG, and the disclosure standards for each country are different, adding to companies’ confusion. So this study shows environmental evaluation indicators of global semiconductor supply chain ESG customized for Korean SMEs and then performs weight analysis using AHP methodology. Through this, this study aims to suggest implications for gaining sustainability within the supply chain of Korean SMEs by presenting indicators to be considered first among environmental evaluation indicators in preparation for ESG due diligence of the global semiconductor supply chain.

동기-위생요인이 한국 간편결제서비스의 전환의도에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to examine whether switching intention of Korean simple payment service can be explained by using more parsimonious model than the PPM model. Specifically, this study aims to explain the switching intention of simple payment service users with a two-factor model (Herzberg) called the motivation-hygiene theory. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is also a simpler model than the PPM model. However, the technology acceptance model fits well when applied to the context in which new products or services are accepted. Considering that the simple payment service has been active when mobile phone authentication was allowed for consumer convenience, it is difficult to consider simple payment service as a new technology. In summary, this study attempts to explain the switching intention of simple payment service by using the motivation-hygiene model. As a result of the empirical analysis, it was found that both motivation factors(brand image, reliability, convenience) and hygiene factors(versatility, security, stability) affects significantly the switching intention.

Intellectual Property Rights on Digital Goods and Global Profit Strategy : Rational Choice Approach

This paper analyzes determinants of intellectual property rights on digital goods from the perspective of rational choice. Since digital goods are only partially excludible and very easily distributed over the Internet, the profit maximizing firm seems to choose the optimal rent-seeking investment (e.g lobbying) that is expected to bring the marginal benefit as equivalent as technological investment fetches. The result of our comparative analysis shows that the profit maximizing technological protection level decreases with legal protection level while it increases with more the more portions of illegitimate consumers. It also demonstrates that the profit maximizing intellectual property rights level increases with the more portions of illegitimate consumers and higher product quality, whereas it decreases as the cost of rent-seeking activities (dead weight loss) and technological protection level increases. One implication is that firms producing digital goods should present lower price with higher technological protection to make profit maximization in countries where more consumers illegitimately use copyrighted digital goods. Another implication for intellectual property right is that it is likely to be determined in between the median voter preferred level and the profit maximized level by the associated rational self-interested policy maker.

무역과 해외직접투자가 경제성장에 미치는 영향 : 동남아시아국가연합을 중심으로

This study investigates the effects of trade and Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) on economic growth in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. We explore the impact of trade and FDI on economic development, particularly scrutinizing whether FDI and trade hinder the economic growth of host countries. Although many studies suggest that economic growth can be driven by FD I and trade, this study provides empirical results for the period from 2010 to 2021 in Asian countries. Resuts reveal FDI has shown to have a negative impact. ASEAN while trade in ASEAN has shown to have a positive impact on economic development. Thus governments should build a framework to aviode aggressive FDI. They also have to strive to facilitate FDI, which can lead economic development.

한국 모바일 지역화폐의 공익연계 마케팅 활용을 통한 지속사용에 관한 연구

This study aims to investigate the influencing factors affecting the continuous use intention of Korea’s mobile local currency and the moderating effect of Cause-Related Marketing. 168 questionnaires were used in the final analysis, and the structural equation of AMOS2 1.0 was employed for hypothesis testing. The results of the empirical analysis are as follows. First, it was found that performance expectations, effort expectations, social influence, and promotion base positively affect the continuous use intention of local mobile money. Second, the moderating effect of public interest-linked marketing is insignificant between the continuous use intention of local mobile money and the four influencing variables.

Due to the expansion of world trade transactions such as FTAs, trade-related terms that have been limited to specific traders are now becoming terms that everyone should know. However, the information on trade-related terms provided by portal sites or trade-related organizations is inaccurate or insufficient. In particular, there are cases where the contents of the revision are not reflected. Accordingly, a lot of time may be consumed or incorrect information may be obtained in the process of searching for unknown trade-related terms. The purpose of this study is to present some errors in the information provided on the Internet, review the problems of providing information on trade-related terms, and then propose a reengineering method for them. In addition, the expected effects of such reengineering are also presented in this paper. As a result, learning about trade-related terms is carried out efficiently, and understanding of them can be improved. It will also help train trade experts. It is considered disambiguation of trade-related terminology will act as a major change in the future.

중국 소비자의 지속가능국가이미지와 친환경 자동차 구매행동 : 한국과 미국 간 비교를 중심으로

This study examines the impact of general and sustainable country images on Chinese consumers’ purchasing behavior for green automobiles from Korea and the U.S. Although China is emerging as a significant market for green automobiles, foreign automobile companies face challenges in entering the Chinese market. In the green automobile market, country image is crucial as it influences consumers’ purchasing behavior. Many countries are actively enhancing their country image through initiatives aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Hence, the study aims to investigate the effects of general and sustainable country images on Chinese consumers’ purchasing behavior concerning Korean and U.S. green automobiles. The study analyses 423 samples using the SPSS 22 and AMOS 21 programs. The findings reveal that cultural image holds greater importance for Korean green automobiles, whereas political and economic image are more influential for U.S. green automobiles. Lastly, theoretical and practical implications based on the study’s results are also discussed.
