The purpose of this study is to estimate change of productivity of Korean Port-Logistic industry from 2000 to 2009, and to induce policy implications. The method of analysis is panel data analysis based on 9 Korean Port-Logistic industry cross-section and 10 years time series. The result of estimate shows that the change of total factor productivity nearly did not happened for the periods. The elasticity of total factor productivity is more decreased after 2005 comparing with before 2005. In addition, the elasticity of labor input was increased, but the elasticity of labor input was decreased. It means that the productivity of Korean Port-Logistic industry was not improved despite incerasing port investment. Therefore, we can conclude that it is important to force on incerasing productivity of Korean Port-Logistic industry to raise international competitiveness of Korean ports.

State trading is a common feature in the management of imports and exports of agricultural products and it has been a long-standing feature of China's agricultural trade regime. While the use of state trading was modified by China's accession to the WTO, it remains a dominant feature for some commodities, even though there have been recent attempts to diminish its importance. In this article, we review the role that the state trading enterprise (STE), the Scope and China Import and Export Company, continues to play in the importing and exporting of some agricultural commodities. We then review the economic theory that has been developed to evaluate the role of importing STEs. Finally, we propose that China can harmonize the domestic regulations with WTO rules and the effective measure to enhance the effectiveness of china state trading system through the reforming of procedures and management in China's import market for agriculture and raw materials.
