After Korea-China diplomatic relations was established in 1992, foreign and domestic environment between the two countries encompassing the field of politics, economics and trade enormously changed. According to WTO’s statistics (1995-2011), China was the second country after Korea, in terms of receiving anti-dumping regulations in the world. By 2011, the authorities in China filed a complaint against Korea which by then was the biggest exporting market. Therefor, to solve these problem and expand the financial profits between Korea an China, the government of the two countries began to promote FTA since 2004. This study focus on expectation issues of the FTA between Korea an China, especially in the area of trade remedy, and then find some effective solutions.

Trade usages and business practices are key elements of international commercial transaction. In fact, trade usages and practices are powerful tools to ensure the stability of international transaction. This study is to examine a application of trade usages in international sales law, such as Article 9 of CISG, and the case of Incoterms and UNIDROIT Principles related trade usages. CISG does recognize the privileged position of trade usages in the practice of international sales. Several of CISG’s provisions refer to usages and practices directly and indirectly. Among them most important provisions concerning trade usages are those of Article 9. In CISG, however, definition of trade usage does not have and explain how to handle such tools and because of often general and vague, eventually the usages and practices may be found to conflict with the relevant provisions of international sales law. Therefore, it is very important to consider the application of trade usages and practices in international sales law, especially CISG and Incoterms® 2010 and UNIDROIT Principles 2010 that have been revised in line with the latest changes in contemporary trade usages and practices. This paper intend to lay out an analysis of trade usages and practices which are commonly found to apply in the case law and have a practical impact on international sale transactions governed by the CISG.

This paper explores major dispute cases on issues of human life and health handled by WTO panels and the Appellate Body. This paper reviews the Brazilian Tyres Case in which the Appellate Body endorsed a qualitative approach in deciding whether a measure in question is "necessary" in GATT Article XX (b). This interpretation of rule is probably one of the most important ones in the history of WTO jurisprudence as balancing between trade and environment. Then this paper reviews the EC/Hormones Case and the EC/GMO Case under the SPS Agreement. And in this case, the Appellate Body concluded on burden of proof issues. The Preamble of the SPS Agreement states that the purpose of the SPS Agreement is: "...to elaborate rules for the application of the provisions of GATT 1994 which relate to the use of sanitary or phytosanitary measures, in particular the provisions of Article XX(b)". This Preamble suggests that the SPS Agreement is an elaboration of Article XX (b) of the GATT and should be read together with it. According to this Preamble, the Appellate Body turned to greening in trade jurisprudence and could stepped toward harmonization between trade and environment.

Despite the recognition of the importance of SCM management for firms' survival and growth, almost no empirical research has been devoted to examining the relationships between SCM integration and export performance. In addition, no empirical research has focused on the potential mediating role of SCM competence on the effect of SCM integration on export performance. Under these circumstances, this study construct a synthesized model of SCM integration, SCM competence, export performance. Then data for this study were collected from 84 export firms in Korea and suitable statistical methodologies were employed for analysis. This study represents an efforts towards an exploratory research for better understanding of the effect of SCM integration, SCM competence on export performance.

The purpose of this study is to suggest some alternatives for activating the AEO(Authorized Economic Operator) system in korea. First of all, in order to achieve such a purpose, factors for activation through literature survey and previous studies are analyzed. After that, questionnaire survey are carried out. Also factor analysis and reliability test based on the questionnaire results are performed. Main findings are suggested as followings. First, establishment of special organization and cooperation of related parties are necessary. Second, financing and policy support from related organization and administration are necessary in order to have necessary facilities and equipments for preparing for AEO.

For developing the u-Trade, we have built u-Trade Hub as a single window for u-trade in Korea. But its utilization rate is still low so that we can hardly expect expension of global u-Trade through the u-Trade Hub in the short run. Thus, vitalizing the u-Trade, we need to explore how to use the social media such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc. in international trade transaction. Especially, the social media provides a lot of opportunities for the trade companies to succeed in their business, but also it can sometimes act as a threat factors to them. Therefore, we need to provide the trade companies with the necessary education and training programs for using the social media in international trade transactions.

In compliance with global economic crisis started in 2008, International transportation demand is swiftly decreasing. Especially, Sea container cargo decrease is less than air cargo and that is resulting in the decline of air T/S(Trans Shipment) cargo. Accordingly, this study tried to come to an understanding of airport which attract T/S cargo in Incheon International Airport by dynamic & static portfolio analysis and distribution channel(Origin/Destination) analysis in each nations/airports. As a result of analysis, rate of T/S cargo is relatively high and market growth rate and market share are high in Hong Kong Airport, Pudong Airport, Los Angeles Airport, New York Airport, and Tokyo-Narita Airport. However, T/S cargo volume calling Singapore, Bangkok, and Beijing Airport is getting lower, growth rate and market share of those as well. Those airports will need to have strategy to maintain existing customers rather than strategy to aggressively attract T/S cargo.

The aim of this paper is, logistics internal resources ensure the company's sustainable competitive advantage and logistics performance to affect the company's business performance gives the positive effect on the performance of logistics. Under such circumstance, lots of studies on logistics strategies to survive have been made. Especially, studies on corporate resources have recently been active. This study describes corporate internal resource and logistics result related variables out of previous researches and examples. Also assumed that there are correlations between resource-based factors of logistic part and logistics results including logistics cost reduction and customer service level. Thus, this paper demonstrates the applicability of resource-based view impacts to logistics performance and business performance.

We show that, contrary to the belief of linear analysis of international economic growth, it is necessary nonlinear analysis for the Chinese economy to capture economic reformation for extended period from 1952 to 2009. To consider the properties, we provide theoretical justification for nonlinear extension and suggest recently developed empirical specifications to test it. With regional constructed dataset, the results provide supportive evidence for the nonlinear approaches, which is unable to capture with linear form based analysis. The results imply economic change that accompany transition plays an important role to testing the convergence hypothesis.
