As the international transaction and the openness in world market are expanded, trade among the nations gets more brisk. In addition, the volatility in exchange rate is changing unpredictably as liberalization is speeding up. In this paper, we adopt an asymmetric approach to investigate the response of the import price to exchange rate changes in Korea during the 2000-2010 period. To do so, we estimate a mark-up model for prices with an asymmetric cointegrating ARDL model, using positive and negative partial sum decompositions of the nominal exchange rates. Our results show that some commodity prices react differently to appreciations and depreciations in the long-run, an effect that was previously ignored in the literature, with an important heterogeneity across countries. In fabricated metal products & electrical machinery apparatus we find long-run asymmetric pass-through after an appreciation and a devaluation, a fact that may be due to mark-up strategy. But we find the opposite in two commodities.

As trade companies encounter number of risks in their business, it is very important to control the risks for their stable business. So, I analyze the e-Trade risks with which trade companies confronted, and propose the risk management strategies for them. The results of this study are as follows : First, Changing the risks environment in e-Trade, trade companies have to realize the importance of the e-Trade risks management for successful business. Second, If they fail to control e-trade risks, they will be in a position to very difficult situation which they may not be able to perform their business. So, They should lead to stronger effort to manage the risks for their stable business. Third, Because of a high likelihood for e-Trade risks under social media era, they need to have integrated risks management system for it.

This study intends to analyze the changes in port-logistics industry in Busan caused by Korea-U.S. FTA and then, based on the previous studies, to suggest strategies for port-logistics industry in Busan preparing for Korea-U.S. FTA. The suggestions of this paper are as follows; ⅰ) to develop a value-created logistics business model, ⅱ) to strengthen the ties between Korea and U.S. port-logistics businesses, ⅲ) to motivate the private capital investment, ⅳ) to introduce competition structure and add flexibility which could be useful to be a leading port for Busan port.
