The objective of this study is to design a development process for new product development in high-tech electronics industry in korea. Findings of this research were summarized as follows : First, it is necessary for new product success to execute at least 80% of the key activities that is gathering and analyzing the information, and to consider various information sources, inner and outer, concerned with new product development at the early stage. Second, there is much possibility of success of the new product development to execute at least 80% of the normative activities in a product development process that is from idea generation to recheck for product launching in the market. The results of this study will be apply to establish a successful new product development progress in industry sector.

This paper is an empirical study on the impact of organizational culture upon employee satisfaction based on the survey data of a logistics company. Robert Levering's organizational culture model, which categorizes cultural aspects into five major areas( credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and fun), was adopted as the basis for nominating independent variables of the multiple regression analysis model. 803 data sets were collected from the questionnaire survey. Statistical test of hypothesis upon the multiple regression model indicated that 'respect', 'fairness', and 'pride' play significant role on employee satisfaction. Whereas the remaining two cultural aspects, i.e., 'credibility' and 'fun,' do not play any significant role. However, care must be given so that this result might not be generalized for other organizations in the defense industry.

After 20 years of the enforcement of the Designated System of the 1st and 2nd Defense Company, it had haven the merits of the prevention of dual investment and the concentration of technology development, and so on, but it had haven also the demrits of the prevention of penetration of new competitive companies. Therefore with the foundation of the Defense Acquisition Program Administration, the Measures after the Abrogation of the Designated System of the 1st and 2nd Defense Company were to be abrogated. Here, the follow-up measures after the abrogation of the Designated System of the 1st and 2nd Defense Company are studied to make the best use of the merits of it and give the competitiveness of the defense industry of Korea.

The purpose of this study is to identify primary problems in research performance evaluation through in-depth analysis of previous researches, and to suggest future studies which help resolve these problems. To achieve the intended purpose, this study was progressed with the following 3 stages. First, representative literatures were surveyed and analyzed with regard to research performance evaluation, and we examined whether these theoretical models were suitable for corporate laboratories. Second, we investigated what kind of research performance evaluation systems were used in major Korea companies, and analyzed the incumbent problems. Third, we identified some core problems through the analysis of theoretical models of renowned studies and practical systems of the major Korea companies. In concluding remarks, suggestions for future studies were addressed which might help resolve these core problems.

Our Naval Warships and naval architecture have leaped on a level with the best of the world. Also, technology of underwater intimidatory forces has improved. A acoustic stealth warship of the newest type is developing in order to insure survivability of the warship from the underwater threat of an enemy. Advanced countries give impetus to the researches for the need core technology. In special, Underwater Radiated Noise(URN) reduction and control are an important problem in the performance of underwater acoustic stealth systems. The URN level is decreased for submarines warships. This paper analyses the design characteristics of the warship propeller and derives the core technology as lower noise design, propeller design methods. In order to reduce the URN, it suggested the systematic plan of the mid and long term core technology and the experimental analysis method using the warships design ability, modeling & simulation test. Therefore, this paper understand the domestic warships lower noise propeller design technology level and the dominant noise source of the underwater propeller is analyzed, which will provide a basis for proper noise control strategies. It was suggested that the roles of research institutes in naval warship core technologies should extended for the future.

An airborne radar is an essential aviation electronic system for the aircraft to perform various civil and/or military missions in all weather environments. This paper presents the design, development, and test results of the multi-mode X-band pulsed Doppler radar system test model for helicopter-borne flight test. This radar system consists of antenna unit, transmitter and receiver unit, radar signal & data processing unit and display unit. The developed core technologies include the planar array antenna, TWTA transmitter, coherent I/Q detector, digital pulse compression, MTI, DSP based Doppler FFT filter, adaptive CFAR capability. The design performance of the developed radar system is verified through various ground fixed and moving vehicle test as well as helicopter-borne field tests including MTD (Moving Target Detector) capability for the Doppler compensation due to the moving platform motion.
