이 연구의 목적은 정신건강 문제를 가지고 있는 사람들에게 보다 더 효율적인 심상음악치료(Guided Imagery and Music: 이하 GIM) 서비스를 제공하기 위해 음악반응효과인 심상의 상징적 의미 변화 및 정서 변화를 통해 GIM에서의 치료단계를 발견하기 위한 것이다. 치료단계를 발견하기 위해 주관성 연구방법인 ‘Q 방법론’을 적용하였다. 연구 대상자는 정신건강 문제를 가지고 있는 개별 GIM경험 내담자 20명을 대상자로 하여 Q 모집단 및 P 표본(남 2명, 여 18명, 연령: 26세-61세)을 선정하였다. Q 소트를 QUANL 프로그램으로 분석한 결과 다음과 같이 4개의 유형이 확인되었다. 본 연구에서 발견된 치료의 단계 중 첫 번째 단계는 ‘인식과 회피의 단계(제 4유형)’, 두 번째 단계는 ‘희망적 변화의 단계(제 3유형)’, 세 번째 단계는 ‘변형의 단계(제 2유형)’, 그리고 네 번째 단계는 ‘조화로운 통합의 단계(제 1유형)’로 나타났다. 이것은 GIM에서 치료의 단계가 존재하며, 내담자들이 이렇게 4단계를 거치면서 성장해 간다는 것을 ‘Q 방법론’의 분석결과를 통해 발견한 것이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서 발견된 치료의 4단계는 각 내담자에게 보다 더 효과적인 GIM 치료전략을 수립하고 중재할 수 있는 기초적 자료로서 유용할 것으로 기대된다. 이와 함께 정신건강 분야에서 GIM이 어떻게 유용한지 보여줄 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to determine the therapeutic stages in Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) by analyzing the symbolic meaning of the imagery as a music response effect and emotional transformation and, thereby, to provide more effective GIM services to people with mental health problems. In order to shed light on the therapeutic stages, Q Methodology, a subjectivity research method, was applied. Q samples were drawn by interviewing twenty GIM-experienced P samples (two male and eighteen female clients age 26-61 with mental health problems). After analyzing the Q sort with the QUANL program, the following four types were found: the first stage was the ‘perception and avoidance stage’ (4th type); the second stage was the ‘hopeful transition stage’ (3rd type); the third stage was the ‘transformation stage’ (2nd type); and the fourth stage was the ‘harmonious integration stage’ (1st type). The results indicate that there exist therapeutic stages in GIM, and that clients grow while passing through these four stages. The idea of the four stages of therapy is expected to be a useful basic material in establishing more effective GIM therapeutic strategies and more effective intervention for clients. This correlates with attempts to show how GIM is useful in the mental health area.

이 연구는 음악활동에서 관찰될 수 있는 유아의 언어의사소통 평가도구를 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 이론 기반적 시안을 개발하였으며 개발된 시안의 문항양호도를 알아보았다. 연구대상은 총 120명의 유아가 참여하였으며 연구기간은 총 8개월이었다. 자료분석은 참여자에 대한 정보제공을 위해 빈도분석, 교사관찰가능성 분석과 전문가 내용타당도 검증을 위해 평균과 표준편차를 분석하였다. 문항의 신뢰도를 위해 문항내적일치도 신뢰도 검증, 문항변별력을 위해 상하집단 간 t검증을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 관련문헌 고찰 및 국내 평가도구를 분석, 전문가와의 상담을 통해 음악활동에서 관찰할 수 있는 언어이해력 48개의 문항, 언어표현력 62개의 문항, 총 110개의 문항이 개발되었다. 둘째, 문항양호도 검증을 통해 109문항이 개발되었다. 본 연구의 평가도구의 문항양호도 검증 결과 교사관찰가능성 점수, 전문가 내용타당도 점수, 문항각각의 신뢰도 점수가 높게 산출되었다. 또한 높은 문항변별도가 나타났는데 하나의 문항을 제외하고 문항별 상하집단 간 유의한 점수 차이가 산출되었다. 본 연구의 의의는 음악활동에서 유아의 언어의사소통을 평가할 수 있다는 평가체계의 기틀을 제공한 것이다.

The main aim of this study is to develop a rating scale that provides an adequacy of items and an adequacy of testing for the assessments of infants’ communications that were observed during music activities. For the research, items were developed based on correlating literature and, with the developed items, the infants’ communication was assessed. The participants in this study consisted of 120 children were aged from four to six years old. research period is eight months. The data was analyzed by face validity, content validity, item discrimination, and items reliability. As a result, A rating scale was made up 2 sub-scales(receptive language, expressive language) 110 items through a literature reviewing and instruments. A panel of experts in infant education and speech therapy, music therapy examined the contents validity. The preliminary 109 items was administered in a series of two pilot tests conducted in this study. Over all face validity, content validity, item discrimination, and items reliability were high levels. It was shown that the rating scale in music activities for the assessments of infants' communications is reliable rating systems for the assessments of infant communications in infant education centers since they provide an adequacy of items and an adequacy of testing based on a systematic process of analysis.

이 연구는 음악치료 현장에서의 임파워먼트란 무엇이며 어떤 것인지를 음악치료 임상가들의 구체적인 경험을 바탕으로 질적 연구방법을 통해 파악하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 네 명의 음악치료사의 경험을 심층면담을 통해 수집하였고, 현상학적 연구방법을 채택하여 분석하였다. 면담내용을 분석한 결과, 14개의 하위구성요소와 7개의 구성요소들이 도출되었다. 연구결과는 음악치료사들의 임파워먼트의 파워(힘)에 대한 관점, 영향력 있는 임파워먼트의 형태, 치료사와 클라이언트와의 관계를 통한 영향력, 임상현장을 통한 자기 성장, 치료사가 소유해야 할 자질, 자신의 치료에 대한 책임감, 그리고 임상을 통한 임파워먼트의 추구에 대해 숙고하면서 임파워먼트를 자신의 임상현장에서 실천하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Fifteen years have passed since music therapist was produced in korea, then practice of empowerment for music therapist is emerging as important attention. However, we still lack understanding that what is experience of empowerment; how appropriately is applied this experience in the clinical trials. This study will treat music therapist's concrete experiences in qualitative research, for what is empowerment in the clinical trials of music therapy, how appropriately is applied this experience in there.
