이 연구의 목적은 체육연구의 두 가지 패러다임과 방법론을 탐구하는 것 이다. 이를 위하여 실증주의 패러다임과 양적 연구 방법의 특성과 문제에 대 하여 알아보고, 이어서 자연주의 패러다임과 질적 연구 방법의 특성과 문제 에 대하여 알아보았다. 최고의 체육 연구방법은 양적연구 방법과 질적 연구 방법의 혼합연구, 융합연구, 다차원적 연구라고 할 수 있다. 두 가지 연구방 법은 상호보완적인 관계를 맺고 있다. 따라서 어떤 방법론이 더 우월하다고 평가하는 것은 어렵다. 연구자의 연구목적에 부합하는 방법이 최적의 방법이 다. 양적 연구방법은 현상을 정량화하고 객관성, 합리성, 보편성을 추구한다 면 질적 연구방법은 현상의 질적인 문제에 연구초점을 맞추고 주관적, 정성적, 예술적 특성이 있다. 실증주의 패러다임과 자연주의 패러다임은 각각 나름대로의 특징과 문제점을 가지고 있음을 살펴보았다. 결국 실증주의와 자연 주의 패러다임에 바탕을 둔 양적연구와 질적 연구라는 두 방법론은 인간의 몸과 마음처럼 나름의 특징과 문제점을 갖는다는 것은 사실 어느 한 방법론 만을 고집하면 결국 우리의 안목을 제한하게 만든다는 것을 말해 준다. 그러므로 양적 연구 방법과 질적 연구 방법을 상호 배타적인 관계가 아니라 상호 보완적인 관계로 인식하여야 한다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the two paradigms and methodology of physical education. To this end, two paradigms of physical education were identified. First, we looked at the limits and problems of the positivism paradigm and quantitative research methods, then the limites and problems of naturalism paradigm. The ideal method of research is a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods. The two methods of research have complementary relationships. It is difficult to assess a methodology as superior. The best way to match the researcher's research objectives is to do so. If quantitative research methods quantify phenomena and pursue objective, rational and universal values, qualitative research methods focus on qualitative issues and have subjective, qualitative and artistic characteristics. We looked at the empiricism and the naturalist paradigm, respectively, with their own characteristics and problems. The two methodologies-quantitative research and qualitative research based on the paradigm of positivism and naturalism tell us that having our own characteristics and problems, like the human body and mind, actually makes us limit our vision by sticking to one method. Therefore, it is only natural that quantitative and qualitative research methods should be recognized as complementary, not mutually exclusive.

이 연구의 목적은 스포츠 민족주의를 비판하는 ‘국뽕’의 개념을 바탕으로 스포츠 민족주의의 폐단을 지적하고 개방적이고 건전한 스포츠 민족주의의 방향 설정을 도모하는 것이다. 국뽕이란 스포츠에서 발현된 지나친 국수주의 와 배타적 태도를 비꼬는 개념으로 스포츠를 통해 나타난 성과와 결과를 있 는 그대로 평가하고 받아들이는 합리적인 태도를 요구하는 이중적 개념이라 고 할 수 있다. 스포츠 민족주의는 이러한 국뽕에 중독된 개인과 민족주의를 바탕으로 스포츠를 남용하고자 하는 정치, 언론, 기업 등에 의해 위세를 떨 치고 있다. 다문화사회가 진전되고 있는 현재 폐쇄적인 스포츠 민족주의의 지양은 시대적 사명이며, 개방적이고 건전한 스포츠 민족주의의 방향 설정이 필요하다. 이러한 과정에는 국제경기에서의 승패를 떠나 진정으로 스포츠를 즐길 수 있는 여유와 국가와 민족을 떠나 스포츠의 공정한 과정과 개인의 성취에 초점을 맞춘 합리적 태도가 필요하다.

The purpose of this study was to comment on the negative effects of sport nationalism based on the idea of ‘national Philopon’ that is criticizing sport nationalism and then to aim the direction setting of open and sound sport nationalism. National Philopon is an idea that is lampooning the chauvinism and exclusive attitude in sport, but it is also an double entendre that requires the rational attitude to result and outcome of sport. Sport nationalism have a powerful authority from national Philopon addicts and politics, the media, business that abuse sport armed by nationalism. Because multicultural society is formating at this time, the rejection of closed sport nationalism is an important mission and it needs to set the direction toward open and sound sport nationalism. This process should include the charity for enjoying sport whether win or lose and the rational attitude that focuses on fair competition and personal achievement in sport irrespective of nationality and ethnicity.

최근 인문학은 4차 산업시대에 대비한 사회변화 극복 수단으로 부각되고 있다. 하지만 실용성만을 강조한 한국 체육학계에서 체육 인문학은 소외되고 있다. 본 연구는 체육 인문학의 위기를 극복하고자 한국사능력검정시험에 대 비한 체육사 문항을 종합 분석하였다. 연구방법은 과거 한국사능력검정시험 과 체육사 평가 문제를 종합적으로 분석한 문헌분석이다. 주요 내용은 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 한국사능력검정시험은 다양한 출제 문항 개발을 필요로 하며 한국사능력검정시험에서의 체육사적 문제 접근은 남다른 의미를 줄 것이다. 둘째, 한국사능력검정시험에서의 체육사적 문제 출제 방향은 한국사 시대사 별 교육, 군사, 정치, 문화와 연계한 함축적 의미의 체육을 논해야 한다. 셋 째, 한국사능력검정시험에 대비한 체육사 문제 분석은 체육사 교육 인프라를 넓혀주는 계기를 마련해 줄 것이다.

Recently, Humanities have been highlighted as a means of overcoming social change in preparation for the fourth industrial era. however, in the field of Korean Sports emphasizing practicality, Sports Humanities is neglected. this study comprehensively analyzed the items of the physical education history in preparation for the Korean History Exam to overcome the crisis of Sports humanities. the main content is as follows. First, the Korean History Exam requires the development of various questions, and the approach of Sports history in the Korean History Exam‘ ll have a different meaning. Second, the direction of the sports history issue in the Korean History Exam should be discussed in an implicit sense of sports linked to the history education, military, politics and culture of the Korean history period. Third, analyzing the problem of Sports history in preparation for the Korean History Exam' ll provide an opportunity to broaden the educational infrastructure of Sports history.
