이 연구의 목적은 2018 평창 동계올림픽이 남긴 것에 관하여 올림픽 평가와 평창 이후에 대하여 알아보는 것이다. 평창 동계올림픽이 남긴 것들은 많지만 그것을 모두 나열하기보다는 핵심적인 것들에 초점을 맞 추어 보았다. 세계적인 관심이 적었던 평창 동계올림픽 개최와 관련하여 걱정이 많았던 것은 국내뿐만 아니라 국외에도 북한 핵 위협으로 인한 불안감 때문에 참가를 주저했지만, 막상 북한이 참가를 발표하면서 역대 최대 국가가 올림픽에 참가하였다. 평창 동계올림픽에 대한 비판적 읽기 와 성찰적 읽기를 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 우선, 향외적 차원에서 비판 적 읽기를 해보면, 평창올림픽은 남북화해와 남북평화 유지라는 평화올 림픽이었고 비용을 최대한 절약한 경제올림픽 그리고 지역주민 80% 이 상이 성공한 올림픽이란 평가에서 최고의 동계올림픽이라고 자평해도 크게 문제가 없어 보이는 동계올림픽이었다. 하지만 경기시설로 가리왕 산의 오래된 나무들을 벌목하고 이식하는 과정에서 발생한 환경파괴 올 림픽이라는 한계 또한 있다고 할 수 있다. 향내적 차원에서 성찰적 읽기 를 해보면, 유치과정에서의 어려움과 정치적 이해관계로서 평화올림픽과 평양올림픽이라는 프레임 싸움, 경기장 건설비용과 유지비용 등의 문제, 중계방송에서 성차별이 여러 번 노출되었고 자원봉사자의 친절과 헌신 을 말할 수 있다. 그동안 거대 담론 속에 가려져 있던 인간의 얼굴을 보여주기 시작한 올림픽 즉, 인간의 얼굴을 한 올림픽이라는 것에 큰 의의 를 들 수 있다.

If you read the book in terms of fragrance, the difficulties in the bidding process and political interests have been expressed in the frame fight between the Peace Olympics and the Pyongyang Olympics, the cost of stadium construction and the cost of maintenance, and the gender discrimination of broadcasting. It can be said that the Olympics, or the Olympics with a human face, has begun to show the face of a human being, which had been hidden in a huge discussion.

본 연구의 목적은 말 산업과 승마에 관한 관계를 본질적으로 논의하고 나아가 말산업과 경마, 말산업과 스포츠의 담론에 대하여 문헌고찰연구방법 을 통하여 고찰하고자 한다. 경마와 승마를 포함하는 상위개념인 말 산업은 상업주의나 경제적인 관점으로만 해석하고 논의해서는 안 된다. 진정한 말 산업의 성장과 발전을 위해서는 역사, 철학, 문학, 문화 등의 인문학적인 관 점들이 필요하며 동시에 강조되어야 한다. 이는 경마와 승마가 가지고 있는 잘못된 인식으로 인하여 전반적인 말 산업이 지지부진 할 수 도 있고 도태 될 수도 있기 때문이다. 이에 말 산업의 양적인 성장과 질적인 발전을 위해 서 먼저 인식의 변화를 모색해야 한다. 말 산업의 미래는 밝다. 그런데 오직 스포츠의 관점으로만 말 산업을 본다면 작금의 경마와 승마에 대한 잘못된 인식은 쉽게 변하지 않을 것이며, 스포츠에만 국한된 좁은 시야로 밝은 미래 를 보지 못하게 될 것이다. 따라서 말 산업과 스포츠가 밀접한 관계를 맺으 면서 성장하고 발전하기 위해서는 말 관련학과와 스포츠계열학과가 함께 융 합적이면서 종합적으로 연구를 해야 하며 ,이와 관련된 학술단체가 형성되어 야 하고, 나아가 이 모든 것이 말과 관련된 모든 학문체계의 영역에 연결되 어야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to discuss essentially the relationship between horse industry and horseback riding, and to consider the discourse of horse industry, horse race, horse industry and sport through literature review methods. The horse industry, which is a superior concept that includes horse races and horse riding, should not be interpreted and discussed solely in terms of commercialism or economics. In order to grow and develop the true horse industry, humanistic views such as history, philosophy, literature, and culture are needed and emphasized. The reason is that the overall horse industry may be sluggish or stagnant due to misconceptions about horse racing and horse riding. Therefore, for quantitative growth and qualitative development of horse industry, first of all, we must seek change of perception. The future of horse industry is bright. But if you look at the horse industry only from the point of view of sport, the misperception about horse racing and horse riding will not change easily, and you will not see a bright future with a narrow view limited to sport. Therefore, in order for the horse industry and sport to grow and develop closely, horse-related departments and sports-related departments must be integrated together and integrated research should be conducted, academic associations related to this should be formed, and it should be linked to the area of all relevant academic systems about horse.
