The power of the internet community as a social network exerts great influence on all areas of our society not only on knowledge creation and knowledge sharing but also on politics, economy, and culture. This study aims to investigate how the diffusion process of information evolves on the internet in the new environment. The focus of the study is particularly on aspects of using information and the process of information production and the types and methods of online communities. It is the goal of the study to clarify aspects of the online community as an important mediator among universal means of communication in our society. Ways of social communication are changing rapidly and thus the reasoning for this change is very important policy issues to form a social consensus.



A study on the Fleet-type Overseas Expansion Strategy through mutual cooperation between Small & Medium and Large enterprises for the successful export of IT industry

IT is the core industry in Korea which has the most international competitiveness and counts for 35% of the total exports of Korea. Nevertheless, it tends to be concentrated in small range of items, a few countries and mostly large companies. Therefore, it is needed for small and medium-sized enterprises which can have prompt decision making processes and various changes to export wide range of items and to diverse countries. This study will introduce ‘the fleet-type expansion strategy of overseas export' that is about large and small enterprises perform the appropriate role based on their own character, thus they produce the mutual benefit. This strategy will contribute to improve the export structure of Korea and perform the major role for Korea's IT industry to become the dynamic force for growth in the future.



Effects of Switching Costs on Loyalty to Social Network Sites: Resource Based Approach

This paper examines user's loyalty to social network sites (SNS) from switching costs (SC) incurred by both technology and social factors. We propose a research model specifying that the perceived values of resources of the factors affect the SC and the SC determine user's loyalty. Empirical results show that technology variables of ease of use and privacy controllability, and social variables such as network size, usefulness of SNS activities, and awareness of network status have significant effect on SC. In particular, ease of use is negatively associated with SC. Since it is shown that in overall the impact of social factors is stronger than that of technology factors, we can interpret that technological superiority itself does not lead to the success of SNS. Contributions of this paper are: 1) application of SC in SNS research from the resource based perspective, which can be used for developing strategies of sustainable SNS, and 2) provision of different perspective toward the variable of ease of use, which has been considered an important factor of technology acceptance.



Determinants of the adoption of new equipment at the individual level within an organization

The purpose of this study is to develop a new equipment acceptance model in the industrial market and test it empirically using a field survey. To define new equipment acceptance factors of employees in the organization, we used the TAM as a useful model to analyze the acceptance process of new equipment. All of the data for the TAM were collected from the employees. Prior research studied the usage of general information technology using a computer and particular software, while we apply the TAM to the new equipment adoption. In this study, both theoretical review and empirical study were conducted and the model was set through the theoretical study which was tested through the empirical analysis. Management support and training/education were shown to have a positive effect on PU and PEOU. Personal innovativeness, management support, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use were shown to have a positive effect on behavioral intention.



An Analysis on Technology Acceptance of Ubiquitous Banking Service

The objective of this paper is to identify factors influencing intention to use ubiquitous banking service focusing on potential users using a regression model. Through this, providers of ubiquitous banking services can get an idea of future development, including marketing strategy through the results of this analysis. This paper proposes that perceived usefulness is the most important factor influencing the uptake of ubiquitous service. Also in addition, ANOVA test shows that higher education level of the user can lead to the higher intention to use an ubiquitous banking service. In this study, we set up a model by using the most basic factor among influential factors presented in previous studies as an independent variable. However, other research variables which affect acceptance of ubiquitous service should be considered by thinking more diversely.



Developing Measures for Empirical Research on Economic Activities of the Convergence Generation: Exploratory Approach

Ultimately, this research will focus on the activity traits of future customers in the convergence age. To accomplish that, firstly, researcher develop measures for assessing the convergence level of digital devices and digital services. Next, this will investigate the behavioral traits of people who use specific devices or services on the internet or mobile networks. This study proposed five convergence measures each for devices and services. For digital devices, measures such as converged functions, accessibility to network, portability, immediate communicability, and expandibility of functions were utilized. For digital services, measures such as scope of users, newness, social network level, ease-of-use on mobile networks, and expandibility of information were used. We believe that the research results can provide insights for those wishing to explore the convergence level of devices and services and those developing high-level converged devices and digital services.



RFID Implementation Readiness Model : Impact of Technology, Human, Vender, and Task Factors

Currently, many companies are interested in (Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). Nonetheless, technical imperfection and the uncertainty of Return on Investment (ROI) is discouraging the companies’ intention to implement RFID. Accordingly, while a number of companies concede the efficiency of RFID, few of them expresses enthusiasm, making a rain check to adopt RFID. Moreover, the recent economic depression has down-sized the companies’ investment on Information Technology (IT), subsequently hindering RFID implementation. In adopting RFID, the collaboration of supply chain is the most importance factor. Therefore, in implementing RFID, many companies reinforced collaboration of supply chain. Therefore, this study will focus on performing an analysis on several factors which influence the intention to adoption of RFID, such as the human factor, technology factor, vender factor and task factor. The results of this study will provide useful guidelines for RFID adoption strategy to Korean companies.



A Study on the Transference of Headlines and Types of Preferred Headlines in Offline and Online Newspapers

With the development of the Internet, the media market is experiencing rapid change. The traditional form of offline newspaper markets, which has created the mainstream news delivery market, have been losing large amounts of power due to the emergence of online media. On the other hand, online media armed with its ability to post breaking news almost as it occurs has increased its influence and popularity at a rapid speed. However, since the exposure time and readership of online newspapers are less than their offline counterparts online media has a high dependence on sensational titles and somewhat exaggerating headlines rather than the objective and recapitulative headlines which are preferred. This paper will examine the function and significance of headlines, and conduct a comparative analysis on contents and forms of the headlines in offline newspaper and online newspaper in order to identify the characteristics of each newspaper. Through comparisons, it examines the types of headlines and the transference of headlines. In addition, it examines the differences in recognition of copy editors according to media in determining the headline, and it illuminates which type of headlines is preferred in order to instigate readers to read online newspapers. The analysis results of title-transferring cases in offline newspaper and online newspapers are that offline newspapers try to convey the contents accurately by making use of an information-transferring headline, while attention-attracting headline or subject-hiding headlines tend to be used for attracting the eye of readers. In addition, analysis results of headlines that are put on the top with a click counts in online newspapers are that attention-attracting headlines are the majority, while subject-hiding headlines that are hardly used in offline newspapers, are well-used in online newspapers. In an interview with copy editors, they responded that offline editors focus on the fact-transference in determining the title, while online editors put the weight on immediacy in the delivery of news and the function of guiding readers.



A Study on Ways to Vitalize Digital Contents Business through IP Holding Company

In order to have the highest level of a certain society's technology be evaluated as digital contents technology the value concept of such technology's social utilization must be established while active investment on the technology takes place and makes it the subject of social capitalization. This study wishes to discuss the strategies and methods of establishing and managing IP holding company which requires business activation with digital contents technology at its base, research ways of vitalizing IP holding company to expand social utility values of contents technology, suggest necessary systemic improvements and investment activation methods, management structure, and governance structure by investigating ways to stimulate the industrialization of contents technology through the establishment and management of this IP holding company, and finally come up with a realistic measure to establish and manage a IP holding company. Strategies on commercialization of digital contents technology and acceleration of technology development, as well as activation of venture business set-ups will be analyzed and suggested based on such suggestions while IP holding company's digital contents technology investment activation model will be established to produce means to realize discovering superior contents companies and activation of investment, and activating high quality contents production for the global market



Comparison of Customers Perception of Feature and Smart Phone Users Mainly in 20s

The property of the mobile phone is taking important role to choose it. In the present situation, exploring, comparing and analyzing the important properties of regular mobile phone(feature phone) and smart phone are very meaningful study. Therefore, the survey was carried out to get the properties of feature phone and smart phone and analyze the difference of those phones. And proposed the important variables for customer satisfaction which must be given priority. The result showed that 'design' and 'quality' are important to both mobile phone user groups. The problems with mobile phones currently in use were 'poor performance' to feature phone users and 'expensive charge' and 'poor A/S' to smart phone users. Two groups also showed significant difference with the customer satisfactions, and smart phone user group showed higher satisfaction. For smart phone user group, four factors are induced from the properties but 'Hardware Quality'(representing 'Call Quality', 'A/S', 'Convenience to use', 'Battery life') and 'Design & Function'(representing 'Internet', 'Convergence Functions', 'Design', 'Color') have significant and positive effects on Customer Satisfaction.



’스마트시민정당’ 모델에 관한 탐색적 연구

소셜컴퓨팅에 기반을 둔 사회에서는 개인이 주체가 되어 기술을 진보시키고 사회가 이에 적응해야 하는 형태로 변모하게 되는 사용자 중심의 환경으로 변화하고 있다. 정치과정에서도 이러한 경향은 강화될 것으로 예상된다. 즉, ‘연결된 개인들’(networked individuals)이나 ‘유연자발집단’에 의한 상향식 의사결정 구조로의 이행 가능성이 충분히 열려 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 본 연구는 소셜컴퓨팅 시대의 도래에 따른 정치사회 환경의 변화를 수용하고 이에 대응하는 ‘스마트시민정당’ 모델을 제안하고 있다. 스마트시민정당’은 이러한 소셜컴퓨팅 사회의 ‘스마티즌을 위한 정당’(party for smartizen)을 의미한다. ‘스마트시민정당’은 국가와 시민사회를 연계하는 ‘매개 정당’(intermediate party)이며, 시민의 능동적 참여에 의해 민주적으로 운영되는 ‘스마트한 시민들의 정당’(smart citizen's party)이다. 이에 기초하여 우리나라 기성 정당의 구조와 운영상의 문제점을 분석해 보고 미래지향적인 대응방안을 모색하는데 본 연구의 초점이 있다.
This article is exploring the possibility of establishment of a 'Smart Citizens Party'. In the society based the social computing, the individual leads the technical progress and the society which is adapted for this circumstance is changing in the direction of user-centric. Also, in the political process, we can see this social phenomenon. In other words, there's a quite possibility that decision-making structure may shift from the top-down approach to the bottom-up approach by the networked individuals or flexible voluntary group. In this context, this paper will propose the 'Smart Citizens Party' model that accept the change of political and social environment due to the advent of the social computing and cope with this change. The 'Smart Citizens Party' means the 'Party for Smartizen' of this social computing era. The 'Smart Citizens Party' is the intermediate party that link the political party to the civil society and is smart citizen's party that is operated democratically by active participation of citizens. This paper will review on structure and operational issues of political parties in Korea and study future-oriented solution and/or way to discovered problems of political parties in Korea.



스마트시민정당 사례분석에 관한 연구

본 논문은 스마트 시민 정당 개념 정립을 위해서 스마트 시민 정당의 정의 및 유형, 스마트 시민 정당의 기능을 살펴보고 CocKpit, PADGET, UBIPOL 등 7개의 스마트 시민 정당 플랫폼 사례를 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 분류하고 분석한 요소기술은 개방형 데이터 정보관리 기술, 소셜 컴퓨팅 및 시민참여 관련 기술, 정책 분석 및 정책결정 관련 기술, 보안 및 개인정보보호 관련 기술과 협업정치를 위한 인프라 관리기술로서 스마트 시민 정당 구축을 위해서는 관련 요소기술들의 확보뿐만 아니라 각 기술 간의 연동 및 통합기술이 필요한 것으로 나타났다
The purpose of this paper is to analyze and compare the existing smart citizens party systems and develop a prospective model. As a result of conducting this research, it is recommended that the prospective system consists of an social computing, citizen participation module, and an interface module This result suggests important starting point to develop a resonable and reliable implementation model for smart citizens party platform



스마트시민정당 구현을 위한 소셜컴퓨팅 프레임워크

급신장하고 있는 소셜컴퓨팅은 사회 전반에 걸쳐 그 파급력과 영향력을 확대하고 있는데, 최근 정치 분야로도 영역을 넓혀가고 있다. 한편 시민들의 정치적 참여 추세는 ‘스마트시민정당’이란 혁신적 아이디어를 낳았고, 이는 정당의 개방성과 수용성을 요구하기에 이르렀다. 스마트시민정당은 기존의 ICT(Information Communication Technology)는 물론 소셜컴퓨팅을 기반으로 하는 원활한 소통구조를 요구한다. 즉 스마트시민정당을 구현하기 위해서는 소셜컴퓨팅 환경이 갖추어진 컴퓨팅 프레임워크가 필요한 것이다. 이에 본 연구는 스마트시민정당의 기술적 기반으로서 소셜컴퓨팅 프레임워크를 제안하는 데에 연구 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 제2절에서 소셜웹의 부상, 공공(정치)부문에서의 ICT와 혁신, 소셜컴퓨팅의 개념과 영향 등을 다룰 것이다. 또한 제3절에서는 문헌 연구와 전문가 심층면담을 통해 스마트시민정당의 개념과 특성 및 서비스를 살펴본 다음, 이를 지원하기 위한 쇼셜컴퓨팅 프레임워크 구조와 구성요소 및 서비스 기능에 대해 다룰 것이다.
The social computing which is growing rapidly, has been scaling up the influencing power in every area and extending its activities into the political area. On the other hand, political participation trend of citizens gave rise to an innovative idea, so called 'Smart Citizens Party'. This requires the receptiveness and the openness of the party. So smart citizens party needs the smooth communication structure based on social computing as well as ICT(Information Communication Technology). That is, to embody the Smart Citizens Party, social computing framework for its is required. The purpose of this study is to suggest the social computing framework as the technical base of smart citizens party. To achieve this purpose, this paper will analyze the rise of the social web and ICT & innovation of public(and political) sector, study the concept and impacts of social computing and the concept and characteristics of Smart Citizens Party, and describe the framework, its elements and its service functions of social computing.



스마트시민정당 구현 전략에 관한 연구

사회구조가 정보통신기술의 발달과 이에 따른 스마트 기기의 등장에 따른 사회구조의 급속한 스마트화에 따라 정치구조 역시 이러한 스마트화 현상에서 예외가 될 수 없다. 사회구조의 스마트화에 따라 시민정신 역시 스마트하게 변화하고 스마트 시민으로 전환되는 과정을 겪고 있다. 이러한 스마트시민들의 욕구를 충족시키고 스마트시민들의 자발적인 정치참여를 보장하기 위해서는 스마트시민정당과 스마트시민정치가 필연적으로 요구된다. 이를 달성하기 위해서는 기존의 지역구 당사구조를 스미트정치센타화 할 필요가 있으며 또한 기존의 온라인 웹상에서 구현되는 여러 가지 수단들을 스마트화 되어가는 구조에 부응할 수 있도록 역동적이고 능동적으로 변화시켜야 한다. 이러한 변화에 부응하지 못하는 정당은 점차 스마트사회구조속에서 도태될 가능성이 높으며 또한 스마트시민에 의한 스마트시민정당이 나타날 가능성도 배제할 수 없다.
To make the political party as active and flexible party in the smart society, many things of the party have to be changed. At first to achieve Smart citizens party, it is needed to make the regional office of the party as the smart center and change homepage of the party to active and dynamic web page. And also Parties have to act policy as fun and flexible act, because of the social changes by smart devices.



스마트시민정당의 소셜 미디어 활용 방안

개방, 참여, 공유로 대표되는 웹2.0 인터넷 흐름 속에 새롭게 세간의 화두가 되면서 급성장하고 있는 소셜 미디어, 모바일 미디어 환경 속에서 경제, 사회, 문화는 물론, 정치 분야에도 전반적이고 다양한 변화를 꾀하여야 한다. 한국은 과거의 IT기술력을 바탕으로 새로 다가오고 있는 소셜미디어 환경 속에서도 세계 시장에서 선도적인 역할을 해나가는 위치를 찾아 가고 있다. 우리 국민은 과거 IT 분야에서 새로운 제품에 대한 Early Adopter역할을 해내어 국제 사회에 관심을 끌은바 있다. 급속히 변화해가는 소셜미디어 환경 속에서 정치 분야에서도 이에 맞는 방식으로 친 국민 의사소통 방식이 이루어 질수 있도록 노력해야 한다. 스마트 시민 정당 조직으로서의 비전을 정비하고 소셜미디어 전략을 마련하고 실행하는 등 변화의 노력을 시도하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 소셜미디어 환경 속에서 어떠한 방법론으로 변해야 보다 더 친밀하게 국민에게 다가가고 국민과 하나가 되는 성공을 거둘 수 있는가에 대해 연구하고 방향을 제시 해 보고자 한다. 이 연구가 기존 정부 운영이나 정당 운영 방식에 대해 되돌아보게 하고 소셜미디어 환경에 맞는 효율적인 운영 전략을 되새겨 보게 하는 데 일조하게 될 것이다.
Along with recent rapid growth in social media and mobile media in the web 2.0 flow, represented as openness, participation, and sharing, general and various changes are essential not only in economical, social, and cultural aspects, but also in politics. Korea is finding its position in leading the upcoming social media market based upon the past IT technologies. In the past years, the people of Korea have drawn attention in the international society as early adopters in new IT products. In the current dynamic varying social media environment, the politics must put efforts to utilize a method emphasing on communication with the people. Efforts to change are essential to modify the vision of organization as smart citizens party and implement the social media strategy. In this study, we investigate and suggest methods to change in the social media environment maintaining close relation with the people in order to unite with them. Our reports will help to revisit the existing government/party operation and to rethink about the efficient operating strategy suitable for social media environment.



스마트시민정당 PR전략의 발전방향과 대안

소셜미디어(Social media) 환경이 세계적으로 '정치권력전환(power shift)'에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 이런 변화가 스마트한 국민의 선택(the people's choice)이다. 따라서 시대적 변화의 추세에 정치인, 정당도 시대에 걸 맞는 스마트(S⁶M²AR³T⁴)한 정치PR전략 트렌드를 구상해야 한다. 이제 정치인이나 정당은 소셜네트워크 서비스(Social Network Service, SNS)를 통하여 국민에게 모든 정책이 보다 구체적(Specific)이고, 간결(Simplicity)하게 하여, 다 같이 강한(Strong) 시너지(Synergy)의 효과를 공유(Sharing)할 수 있어야 한다. 또한 올바른 정책이 목표를 향해 힘(Mighty)있게 추진하되, 그 정책이 평가 할 수(Measurable)있도록 성취(Achievable)되어야 한다. 그리고 그 정책은 국가의 모든 분야와 관련(Relevance)된 통합적인 차원에서 국민의 신뢰(Reliability)와 현실적(Realistic)바탕에서 각 계층(Target segmentation), 국민 모두(Together)의 소외됨 없이 비전과 목표(Target)를 가지고 누구나 동등한 기회(Time)로 저 마다 행복한 삶이 추구되어야 한다. 이런 정책 바탕에서 스마트시민정당의 발전 방향과 그 대안에 대한 12가지 키워드(key words)를 제안하고 있다. 이런 스마트시민정당의 정치PR전략만이 '강한나라, 힘 있는 대한민국 건설(mighty and powerful Korea)'을 실행시킬 수 있고 국민의 선택(the people's choice)을 받게 될 것이다.
Social media environment has had a significant effect on 'power shift' over the world. Such change was due to the choice of smart people. Accordingly, the Smart Citizens Party PR strategies of S⁶M²AR³T⁴should be formulated in accordance with times. Now, politicians or parties can gain a Specific, Simplicity, Sharing and Strong Synergy effect through Social Network Service (SNS). In addition, in order to embody Mighty, Measurable, and Achievable policies, policy-makers should formulate policies based on a Realistic basis, which can gain people's Reliability in every field Relevant to people's way of a happy life by giving them Time of equal opportunity and making them share the same vision and Target with Target segmentation for all sorts of people, Together. In this sense, twelve kinds of alternative key words in The Smart Citizens Party PR strategies are suggested. The study suggests desirable direction of development and alternatives in regard to the trends of The Smart Citizens Party PR strategies. Alternatives that are given in this research paper will receive the people's choice because they are a dynamic force to execute 'mighty and powerful Korea'.

본 연구는 최근의 디지털정치 관련 국내의 연구경향을 파악하기 위한 목적으로 진행되었다. 분석대상은 실증분석을 시도한 2004년 이후 박사학위논문을 대상으로 메타분석을 실시하였다. 이에 따라 첫째, 디지털정치에 대한 연구경향을 정치참여, 정치과정, 정치광고 및 선거캠페인으로 구분하여 이에 대한 연구자의 정의, 실증분석에 사용된 분석의 틀, 그리고 그 결과를 체계적으로 검토하였다. 둘째, 해당 주제의 연구모형과 분석단위, 개념 및 개념의 구성요소를 정리하여 후속 연구의 기초자료를 제공하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 디지털정치가 실제 시민의 정치적 삶에 구체적으로 작동되고 있다는 점을 확인하였으며, 최근의 연구는 과거의 규범적 연구를 넘어 디지털 정치연구의 작동 원리와 현상, 다양한 변수를 구체적으로 규명함으로써 연구의 엄밀성과 축적성을 도모하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 다만, 보다 다양한 변수 및 지표개발이 요구되며, 정당을 포함한 정치 단체와 소셜 미디어 서비스간 권력관계와 영향력 관계 등 연구주제의 다양화가 요청되고 있다.
This study is to carry out meta-analysis on doctoral dissertations which had been written after 2004 when the empirical analysis about digital politics had begun. This study aims to identify tendency of recent analysis. For this purpose, it classifies the research trends of digital politics as political participation, political process, political advertising and election campaigns, and examines the researcher's definition, framework of empirical analysis, and all the results. Moreover, the study systematically summarizes the research model, analysis unit, concept and its components in order to ensure availablity so that the information could be available for the further research.
