The Research of Quantized Limb Movement Capability Assessment Indicators for the Elderly

As the problem of aging population is going to exacerbate, improving the scientific and objective nursing and service for the aged becomes the trend of pension industry. The premise of scientific pension service is assessing the capability of the elderly objectively. Then we can grade the capability of the elderly and provide different types of old-age care for different grades of the elderly. To solve this problem, this thesis puts forward a kind of quantized limb movement capability assessment indicators’ system for the elderly by analyzing human limb movement mechanism and the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health. This thesis also puts forward a method of data collection by using Vicon Three-dimensional motion capture system. Therefore, it provides an objective basis of elderly capability assessment method in the scientific pension.

A Study on a Short-Term English Immersion Program

This study reflects the best approach to a short-term English Immersion Program. In order to overcome the restrictions that the Korean English education system has, English camps for students have been proposed by the Korean Education system as a solution for improving Korean students’ English ability. The purpose of this research is to analyze the characteristics of a short-term English Immersion program during a middle school English camp. This study was conducted at an Institute in C province, during a short-term English camp for middle school students, including dormitory residency. This research focused on three different sections: Firstly, the TBL classes that are taught by a native English-speaking teacher. Secondly, the research also looked at EEC activities, which are co-teaching classes that are taught by a Korean teacher and a native English-speaking teacher. Thirdly, the research focus covered communicative activities that are carried out by all students and every teacher during each and every camp. Communicative activities include icebreakers, performances, sporting events, fun farewell and journal writing. However, there were some questions raised regarding this. The specific research questions for this study are as follows: First of all, what do students feel most comfortable with among the three different situations? Secondly, do they experience some changes within themselves? With these questions in mind, this study will progress so as to analyze this program. Over a period of four days, students encounter three different kinds of learning situations as we’ve mentioned. Students who take part in this Immersion program are from different kinds of schools. At first, they feel nervous and embarrassed with many native English-speaking teachers and their challenge of having to speak English. However, at the end of the camp, students are all satisfied with this program. Their anxieties are decreased and their motivation to study English is increased. Contrary to our expectations, when students encounter native English-speaking teachers without a Korean teacher, students feel confident as well. The following are suggestions based on these research findings. This study was conducted on students who are chosen to study English outside their normal school environment. Korean students have little trust in their conventional public school teaching and learning environment and seek alternative methods of learning English. The Korean government should encourage and grow public Institutes and plan more immersion programs in order to save parents money that is currently being spent on private academies. Furthermore, this immersion camp should be strongly recommended as an alternative to EFL English education. This paper would also recommend the introduction of a new curriculum that could be applied to Korean students as well as adult learners.

This paper examines the influence of gray market on manufacturer’s channel selection when considering the export tax rebate. A two-country, three-stage model is used to investigate manufacturer’s optimal operation strategy. We get the equilibrium outcomes through a Stackelberg game in different scenarios. The results show that the Company U may have incentive to encourage gray market if market demand ratio and product differentiation satisfied some condition. In a gray market setting the manufacturer prefers external sales channel with the two-part tariff contract first, a direct channel second, and external sales channel with wholesale price contract third. The study also shows that the policy of the export tax rebate will enhance manufacturer’s profit and increase sales volume of gray market goods. In the extension, if manufacturer selects the direct channel, he can achieve optimal profit by giving decision power to sales department to determine retail quantity. Because the transfer price given by the manufacturer can convey signals of domestic market competition.

Test Research on Influence Rule of Subsoiling Pressure to Subsoiling Quality

Pneumatic subsoiling is a new subsoiling technology which uses the pneumatic fracturing principle. To conduct a research on the influence rules of subsoiling pressure to subsoiling quality, the method combining the soil resistivity test and CFD simulation test will be adopted to carry out a pneumatic subsoiling test through taking the increasing rate of soil porosity and soil surface uplift as evaluation index. The test results indicate that after pneumatic subsoiling, the soil porosity of plow pan increases obviously under different subsoiling pneumatic, effective break the plow pan; with the increase of bulk density of plow pan, the spread of the high pressure gas upwards in the plow pan shows a weakening trend and its spread towards horizontal direction shows a enhancing trend; for the plow pan with larger bulk density, the increasing rate of soil porosity and soil surface uplift will increase with the increasing of subsoiling pneumatic accordingly and for the plow pan with smaller bulk density, its regularity is not obvious. Simultaneously, the subsoiling pneumatic and its technical parameters fit for plow pan with different bulk density will be obtained to provide a basis for in-depth research of pneumatic subsoiling technology and development of Pneumatic subsoiling machine.

User Interface to Express Kinetic Typography with Emotion in Mobile Instant Messengers

To overcome the limitation of emotional transmission with traditional text-based instant messaging systems, this paper designs a messenger user interface for transmitting emotion using kinetic typography. This interface provides two input methods to apply motions to the character. One is 'select emotion after selecting motion' method interface, the other is 'select motion after selecting emotion' method interface. Each method provides a basic motion library, nine parts of emotion coordinates, and a library for adding emotion easily. These provide parameter value control function for modifying more appropriate motion with user’s feelings. In other words, a user can transmit entered text with appropriate emotion by using basic motion library and emotion library together, and control parameter values. Additionally, researchers have confirmed the need of the proposed user interface's two input methods, 'select emotion after selecting motion' and 'select motion after selecting emotion', through evaluation of serviceability. With the proposed mobile instant messenger, kinetic typography that transmits emotion easily and quickly can be produced.

In order to investigate the influence factors of Weibull distribution function and its application in drying, the drying process of grape slices in different microwave vacuum drying power (330, 460, 590W) and vacuum degree (-50, -70, -90kPa) was taken as the research object, and the Weibull distribution function was used to simulate and analyze its drying kinetic curves, the results showed that the Weibull distribution function was able to simulate microwave vacuum drying process of grape slice well: scaling parameterαwas related with microwave power and vacuum degree, and decreased with the rise of them; the influence of drying variable on the form parameterβwas relatively low. The estimated effective moisture diffusivity coefficient in the dry process was obtained by calculating, its value increased with the rise of microwave power and vacuum degree in the scope from 3.45078×10-7 to 6.74613×10-7m2/s; through Arrhenius equation, the activation energy of drying was calculated respectively 1.34701, 1.49099 and 1.57108 W/g under the vacuum degree of -50, -70 and -90kPa. This study has provided the technical basis for the application of Weibull distribution function in microwave vacuum drying technology of grape slices.

The unemployment rate is not improving in Korea, income disparity between the rich and the poor is growing, and a high percentage of young university graduates have no jobs (the employment rate is approximately 58% as of 2014). Demands by ordinary people for employment and for more social welfare are getting strong and serious. Against this background, social enterprises in Korea began as a means of solving the problem of unemployment among vulnerable social groups, in particular and expanding the supply of social services. Since 2007 when The Social Enterprise Promotion Act that was established, the number of social enterprises has been constantly increasing at a slow but steady rate, and as of December 2014 there were 1251 in total. However, criticisms have been made as to the sustainability of social enterprises for failing to continue operation, or reducing in size once the benefits and government aid they receive as certified enterprises come to an end. This paper aims to investigate the factors influencing the sustainability of social enterprises in Korea, and to put forward theoretical and policy implications on how to enhance the sustainability of social enterprises.

This paper designed the learning resource storage model mainly based on Hadoop platform, and the system structure was optimized on the basis of the original system against the problems of inefficient storage of massive small files, high memory overhead on the Hadoop platform. The PBL teaching resources are classified to improve the utilization ratio of resources and access efficiency of resources according to the file size and file correlation. When processing the small files, small files are merged according to the knowledge point, and then storage processing is conducted with the method of handling large files, giving full play to the advantages of processing files in the Hadoop. Simulation experiment is conducted in the laboratory environment, to compare the integrated storage space with the time required for resources storage. The result is that the model can reduce the storage space of the file, and improve the integrated storage efficiency on the basis of not affecting file storage.

Integrate the features of the geometric average in Asian option into level reset option, thus closed-form solution of geometric level reset options obtained through measure transformation and martingale pricing method. Numerical analysis results show that the geometric level reset call prices are increased with the increase of the number of level reset price, the risk hedge Δ value and the standard European call option are much closed, but there is no Δ jump phenomena of standard reset options.

Recently, photovoltaic (PV) system has emerged as a promising renewable energy source to meet out the increasing energy demand. This PV cell has to optimally operate at a particular point to deliver maximum power called maximum power point (MPP). This paper presents an adaptive fuzzy logic control (AFLC) for the maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithm for photovoltaic power generation system. The main idea of the proposed algorithm is the application of fuzzy controller with an adaptive gain as a maximum power point tracker. It adjusts the duty cycle of the boost converter as well as controller’s gain. The performance of AFLC is compared with the conventional fuzzy controller for varying irradiance. Simulation studies of AFLC are carried out in MATLAB. The experimental results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed controller and the results were verified. The results reveal that the adaptive FLC can quickly track change of MPP in different light intensity and deliver more power compared to the classical fuzzy logic controller.

In the field of application prediction, there are two kinds of common methods to establish the prediction model: prediction model established by artificial data analysis relying on expert experience, and prediction model achieved by statistical model exploiting data analysis. However, the prediction accuracy of the model based on expert is restricted by the experiences, while the model based on statistical analysis is limited by the quality and scale of the training data. In view of the advantages and disadvantages of these two kinds of models, this paper presents a prediction model by integrating Analytic Hierarchy Process and Logistic Regression. The proposed prediction model uses the Analytic Hierarchy Process, which are based on the training data and expert experience to obtain the rank of predominant factor in a specific domain, and exploits the logistical regression model to learn the weights of each influencing factor. Finally, the linear combination of the two models is used to obtain the prediction model. Further, we take agricultural land contractual management transfer prediction as an example to test the proposed hybrid prediction model.

There exists mutual interaction and influence between modern port logistics and port-vicinity industry agglomeration.Based on the coupling concept in physics,construct the port logistics and port-vicinity industry agglomeration coupling evaluation models,including coupling evaluation system order parameters,subsystem efficacy models,coupling models and coordination coupling models.On the basis of that, carry out the empirical research of Dalian port logistics and port -vicinity industry agglomeration coupling relationship,before which filter the port -vicinity industries by using indicators comprehensive analysis method.The results shows the coordination coupling degree is not so high of Dalian port logistics and port-vicinity industries.

Main characteristic of relay protection (RP) is selectivity. The fullest realization of this characteristic is given on principle operation of differential protection. On the ground of this reason and analysis of the arc monitoring the short circuits, two principles of the building RP are formulated: usual metric (which is used for building all the types existing RP with measuring relays) and proposed logical principle (on which is built arc protection, on flash of the electric arc at short circuits (SC)). The differential metric principle RP is proved to be the most appropriate for building RP on logical scheme. There are compared factors existing RZ by the approximation to logical principle of the building RP. As special principle of the building RP is distinguished the distance protection. The advantage the logical scheme of the building RZ are discussed in contrast with existing metric.

This paper reveals the connotation of the strategic emerging industry innovation and the function of government science and technology support mechanism, and then analyzes evolution process and upgrade condition of strategic emerging industries ecology innovation. Accordingly, technology support mechanism and strategic emerging industry ecological innovation performance evaluation system are designed; through the questionnaire design, collection and overall, using structural equation analysis method, it’s confirmed that the science and technology support mechanism has significantly positive effect on innovation ecosystem, and the guiding mechanism has a significant effect on technology and product development, technical service mechanism plays a significant role in technology transfer and docking, while the technology cultivation mechanism has a significant role on technology marketing and industrialization, and exceeding the expectations that coordination mechanism only actively promote technology and product development.

The Impacts of the Characteristics of Mobile Rich-Media Ad on Consumers Behavior

This study is aiming to develop a successful advertising strategy on mobile rich-media. First, the mobile rich-media advertisement’s attributes could be categorized into five factors; personalization, informativeness, interactivity, credibility, and entertainment. Thus, based on the existing researches regarding attitudes toward mobile advertising, a questionnaire was constructed to illustrate the factors influencing consumers’ attitudes toward mobile rich-media advertisements. The major findings indicate that first, mobile rich-media advertisement’s some attributes have positively affected customers’ attitude toward exposed advertisement and the brand. Also, the high level consumers’ impulse buying tendency has moderating effect between brand attitude and purchase intention. Implications of the study and suggestions for the further studies are also presented in the chapter of discussion and conclusion.

Quantum Authentication of Classical Messages Using Non-orthogonal Qubits and Hash Function

Quantum authentication protocol can be used to authenticate classical messages in a secure manner. In this paper, by using the cryptographic hash function and non-orthogonal qubits, a quantum authentication protocol of classical messages is proposed. In our protocol, the classical messages and their corresponding tags are encoded as nonorthogonal qubits. The message receiver decodes the classical messages and their corresponding tags from the received qubits by using the authentication key. To verify the validity of the received classical messages, the message receiver verifies whether the hash values of the decoded classical messages are equal to the corresponding tags. Our scheme can be proved to be secure against forgery attack and measurement attack. On the other hand, the authentication key is a binary string, which can be securely obtained and easily saved. What is more, because the authentication key remains secure after executing the authentication protocol, it provides the possibility of reusing the authentication key.

An Level Set Evolution Morphology Based Segmentation of Lung Nodules and False Nodule Elimination by 3D Centroid Shift and Frequency Domain DC Constant Analysis

A Level Set Evolution with Morphology (LSEM) based segmentation algorithm is proposed in this work to segment all the possible lung nodules from a series of CT scan images. All the segmented nodule candidates were not cancerous in nature. Initially the vessels and calcifications were also segmented as nodule candidates. The structural feature analysis was carried out to remove the vessels. The nodules with more centroid shift in the consecutive slices were eliminated since malignant nodule’s resultant position did not usually deviate. The calcifications were eliminated by frequency domain analysis. DC constant of nodule candidates were computed in frequency domain. The nodule candidates with high DC constant value could be the calcifications as the calcification patterns were homogeneous in nature. This algorithm was applied on a database of 40 patient cases with 58 malignant nodules. The algorithms proposed in this paper precisely detected 55 malignant nodules and failed to detect 3 with a sensitivity of 95%. Further, this algorithm correctly eliminated 778 tissue clusters that were initially segmented as nodules, however, 79 non-malignant tissue clusters were detected as malignant nodules. Therefore, the false positive of this algorithm was 1.98 per patient.

This paper analyzes relations of influence of the four factors, including corporate external financing capacity, governance mechanism, systems and talents environment, on longsighted investment strategy for cultural industry using the least square method of regression analysis by data samples. The study finds enhancing corporate external financing capacity, improving its governance mechanism, optimizing its systems and talents environment for a competitive promotion and a strategic investment transformation from shortsighted to longsighted for culture industry.

Recently, as CSR activities have come into the spotlight and customers have begun to sensitively respond to CSR issues, various studies about CSR have also been carried out in various areas such as corporate study, marketing study, business ethics study, and business strategy study. In this context, a hotel company’s CSR activity needs to be regarded as the top value not only for the realization of fair society, but also for the improvements of the corporate image and the customers’ satisfaction. For these reasons, this study aims to explore “the relationship between H-CSR activity and the service value and satisfaction perceived by customers” and “how service value affects customers’ satisfaction for hotel companies.” The results revealed as follows. First, the factor of public or social dimension and legal order has a significant influence on quality value, price value, and customer satisfaction. Second, quality value and price value have significant influences on customer satisfaction. The results also imply that hotel customers feel their satisfaction in terms of hotels’ quality and price values. That is, rather than time and efforts to get satisfaction, direct factors such as quality and price values have more effects on customer satisfaction.

IT capability based on RBV cannot provide firms with durative competitive advantage. IT capability consists of basic IT capability and critical IT capability. Meaning alignment of IT capability is that firm will select optimal basic IT capability compatibility according to difference of critical IT capability between two firms. This paper used Stackelberg model to research alignment of IT capability factors based on consumer theory. When difference of critical IT capability between firms is significant, the incumbent firm should control compatibility of basic IT capability, which enable him to achieve differentiation competitive advantage; when difference of critical IT capability between firms is insignificant, incumbent firm should open IT criterion absolutely, which can increase consumers’ anticipation to achieve installed-base for technological innovation. Two kinds of competitive can transform each other, which enable competitive advantage to be persistence and dynamic.

What Are the Important Factors Switching Intention to Volatile Social Networking Services?

In May 2014, the European Court of Justice ruled that Google should delete all the search results it had used. Since then, a social consensus about ‘the right to be forgotten' has been formed around the world. This kind of consensus has also been around social network services. Snapchat allows you to set times for deleting pictures you have sent to your friends. Zap deletes all the shared pictures and video clips in 24 hours. These fast growing volatile SNS is due to the increasing awareness of ‘the right to be forgotten'. A simple picture or a video clip mistakenly put on a social networking site may haunt a person when the picture or the video clip remains on the site. A simple mistake in writing an article on a social network may lead to ostracism. Worried and tired users tend to migrate to volatile SNS such as Snapchat or Zap, which provide relative comfort in uploading contents. This paper uses the push-pull-mooring model of the migration theory in finding the factors which affect SNS users' switching intention to volatile social networking services. The results show that users tend to switch to volatile SNS when the service provides more privacy protection, volatility, and better system security.

In this paper we study the production-scheduling problem for a two-stage flow shop with outsourcing options. The maintenance of in-house machine and job-related discount for outsourcing cost are considered in model, in which total cost and makespan are regarded as bi-objective for the scheduling problem. Based on the analysis of model, we introduce a concept-packaging to reduce the complexity of problem and then develop heuristic algorithm to solve the problem. Computational experiments using different groups of data are conducted to test the algorithm.

Smartphones have affected considerably people’ lives. Some previous studies have examined the dark side of the smartphone trend such as dependency and addiction. Other studies have analyzed the bright side of dependency and addiction. This study is tending to the latter. This paper aims to investigate the link between social factor and behavioral intentions of smartphone users through the roles of dependency and addiction. It is also to identify whether dependency and addiction of psychological factors can affect behavioral intention of smartphone users. We conducted an empirical study consisting of 217 respondents who live in Gyeongnam province in South Korea. The results suggested that social needs and influence have positive effects on dependency and social influence has a positive effect on addiction. Dependency has positive effects on addiction and customer satisfaction. Addiction has a positive effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty. Customer loyalty has a positive effect on switching barriers. Meanwhile, the impacts of dependency and addiction on switching barriers are not significant. The impacts of dependency on customer loyalty and addiction on customer satisfaction are not significant. Thus, smartphone companies can use psychological addiction to sustain customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Performance Prediction Model of University Students Based on the Grey BP Neural Network

This article counted the best performance of students entrepreneurship courses from 2005 to 2014, and took the best performance prediction of 2014 entrepreneurship course as the research object. According to the best annual performance of entrepreneurship courses from 2005 to 2014, this article established the grade prediction model of series combination of GM (1, 1) grey prediction model and BP neural network prediction model, and the established model was used to predict the best annual performance of students entrepreneurship course. Through comparing the actual value of the best annual performance of 2014 entrepreneurship course and the predicted value c by the model, this article analyzed the application of grey BP neural network prediction model in the students entrepreneurship performance prediction. The research results showed that for entrepreneurship performance prediction problem, the grey BP neural network prediction model had high prediction precision , simple application, and it can be widely used, and had more advantages than single GM (1, 1) grey prediction model and BP neural network model.

To overcome the “prematurity” of standard particle swarm optimization in scheduling problem for solution to resource constrained project, an improved cultural particle swarm optimization is proposed. The algorithm framework is based on the main group space of particle swarm optimization and the knowledge space of cultural algorithm, and both spaces have their own spaces and conduct independent and parallel evolvement to form a “dual evolvement and dual promotion” mechanism and increase the global searching ability and operation efficiency of the algorithm. Meanwhile, to avoid the restriction of self-evolvement for the knowledge space of cultural algorithm, the evolvement mechanism of genetic algorithm is introduced to improve the evolvement operation of knowledge space. Finally, the effectiveness of improved cultural particle swarm optimization in solving the problem of resource constrained project can be validated through comparison of example of human resource scheduling.

A Study on the Switching Intention about Smart Phone: Focusing on Customer Behavior in China

This study examines the effects of perceived value among smart phone users on customer satisfaction, brand trust, brand loyalty, and switching intention in order to analyze the process of purchasing smart phone in China. To this end, a survey was conducted among Xiaomi and Galaxy smart phone users in Shanghai, China. The results show that perceived value had no direct effect on brand loyalty and switching intention, but it turned out that perceived value had indirect effect on brand loyalty through brand trust when the mediating effect was measured. In addition, it turned out that customer satisfaction had direct effects on brand trust while it had no direct effect on brand loyalty and switching intention. Brand trust had direct effects on brand loyalty and switching intention, and it also had indirect effects on switching intention through brand loyalty. It also turned out that brand loyalty had direct effects on switching intention, and that perceived value in the general model of this study had direct effects on brand trust. The mediating effect through customer satisfaction indicates the function of a partial mediating model. Since perceived value had no direct effect on brand loyalty, the mediating effect through brand trust indicates the function of a complete mediating model. Since customer satisfaction had no direct effect on brand loyalty, the mediating effect through brand trust indicates the function of a complete mediating model. It is thought that the findings of this study will contribute to establishing marketing strategies to secure competitive edge among smart phone competitors in China. In addition, if smart phone suppliers in the Chinese market desire basic materials for the establishment of marketing strategies differentiated from those of competitors, the findings of this study can be utilized and helpful for such strategies.

The logistics distribution center, as a circulating site or organization between manufacturers as well as the manufacturers and consumers, is an important node in the logistics network system, and plays a very important role in the modern logistics activities. As a key logistics node, it has not only basic operational functions of the traditional logistics center, but also more assumes such management functions as command and dispatch, information processing, and operational optimization. It has become a soul of whole supply network operation, and its construction and development are concerned more and more by enterprises. However, there are some differences in understanding and functional orientation to the logistics distribution center in the circles. This paper is intended to analyze the influencing factors for location selection of logistics distribution center and construct a location selection index system. Furthermore, it tries to conduct the evaluation on logistics distribution center location selection by the spider chart, so as to select the optimal distribution route.

Low efficiency of agricultural products logistics has become one of “bottlenecks” to restrict the further development of agricultural industrialization and rural economy in China. In this paper, upstream-downstream industries factors of agricultural products supply chain is innovatively absorbed into the influence factors framework. And then DEA-SBM model, regression analysis method and DEA-TOBIT model are applied to measure agricultural products logistics efficiency and analyze the three categories of influence factors. The research results show that During two periods of time, the TE level on a national scale was very low, which was basically in the state of inefficiency, which was mainly due to low PTE. Because the PTE is low and the development of agricultural products logistics of most of provincial administrative regions in Mainland China has reached the stage of constant or decreasing scale merit, the enlargement of agricultural production scale can improve the growth of TE level of agricultural products logistics to a certain extent, but the function is not remarkable. On the contrary, the negative relationship has been displayed between the expansion of farming industry scale and agricultural retail businesses and the TE level of agricultural products logistics. Because of the diversityin regional social and environmental factors, the impact of exogenous environmental factors on the TE level of three regions show a certain difference.

The Performance Evaluation Framework for Cultivating the Technology Transfer

The concept of technology transfer has been changed for successful technology transfer with rapid technology innovation. There is a need to develop the performance evaluation framework for cultivating the technology transfer considering the change of definition of technology transfer. The suggested framework involves the phase of redefining the technology transfer as a shared two-way process, the phase of expanding the value chain, the phase of restructuring technology transfer barriers and the phase of deriving the hierarchy structure for evaluating the technology transfer containing strategies and critical success factors. Based on the suggested framework, officers in technology transfer would extract the important information and implementation plan for successful technology transfer based on strategies and critical success factors. The technology transfer of public research institutions would be cultivated by evaluating the performance of technology transfer through the proposed framework.
