As the outsourcing of key suppliers and business processes becomes increasingly popular, the evaluation and selection of the logistics outsourcing companies is of critical importance in supply chain management. However, there are few quantitative studies on the investigation of the main affecting factors of the logistics service quality focused on the market in China, which is one of the developing countries with the highest online population growth. This paper is an attempt to identify the main factors affecting the logistics service satisfaction of the B2C e-commerce sites in China, and Fisher’s exact test is applied to identify the main affecting factors of logistics service satisfaction and evaluation. The results could be the guideline for the e-commerce companies in terms of improving their outsourcing logistics services.

Recommender systems are now popular both commercially and in the research community, where many approaches have been suggested for providing recommendations. However, evaluating the affectivity of recommender systems is a challenging problem and most of the approaches used for evaluation are based on using some sort of a dataset. This paper describes a method for measuring the accuracy of a collaborative filtering based recommender systems called “User-Advertisement Simulation” that utilizes a simulation approach that creates artificial users and advertisements of a virtual market, then measures accuracy of the products’ ranking based on the user’s profile.
The Research of the Lead Time and the Profit in Centralized Dual-Channel Supply Chain

Internet has changed customers’ consumption patterns a lot. And it also has changed the manufactures’ sale model. These phenomena bring us reformation and challenge. In direct channel, price is always cheaper than that in traditional channel and we can get much profit. Empirical studier shows that lead time is one of the major factors influencing consumer acceptance. A short lead time can increase the logistics, but the long lead time will reduce customers’ acceptance and the loyalty. Therefore, researching the lead time and the profit is important for dual-channel. In this paper, we study the lead time in centralized dual-channel supply chain and its impact on profit. We build the dual-channel supply chain model including quoted lead time and examine the relationship about the lead time, profit and . This work is very helpful to manufacturers and retailers.
Seller Investment Incentive on Heterogeneous Platforms Under Competition

This paper sets an analytical model to study the scenario that two differentiated sellers simultaneously trade on two competitive heterogeneous platforms—for-profit platform and open platform. Three research questions are discussed: (1) If sellers trade on both competitive heterogeneous platforms, how should he/she price on the different platforms and what are the impact factors? (2) How do the fees charged by for-profit platforms to sellers and consumers affect sellers’ pricing and consumers’ selection on platforms? (3) What is the difference of seller’s investment incentives between for-profit platforms and open platforms? This paper finds that if the total fees charged by for-profit platforms keep constant, the split-up between the fees to sellers and consumers will not affect consumers’ selection of platforms. Both the fees charged by the for-profit platform and consumers distribution between platforms will affect sellers’ decision on pricing and investment on heterogeneous platforms.

Services can be described by their semantics to improve the precision of services discovery. OWL-S describes services semantic by their inputs, outputs, precondition and effects. In the frame of OWL-S, domain ontology concepts are used to describe the semantic of inputs, outputs, precondition and effects of a service in this paper. A service rank algorithm based on the semantic similarity of ontology concepts is introduced, and a travel service discovery example shows the algorithm is effective.

For a one-supplier-one-retailer agricultural product supply chain, quantity and quality of the agricultural products often reduce because their own perishable and anthropogenic factors in the process from the supplier via the retailer to final consumers. This paper takes shortage and deterioration factors into account, establishes related profit functions of the supplier and the retailer, obtains the optimal ordering cycle and quantity decisions, and analyzes the impact of deterioration on decision makers under the decentralized system. To maximize the total profit of supply chain, we explore coordination mechanisms for the supply chain when considering shortage and deterioration factors, such as revenue sharing contract, quantity discount contract and buy-back contract. By comparing these different contracts, the coordination effect is analyzed in details. Finally, through series of numerical analysis, some managerial insights are provided.
Modeling and Simulation with Spice of the New Power SiC JFET

This paper present the development of a SPICE SiC JFET model and its corresponding characterization process. The device under study is a 1.3 kV, 15 A SiC JFET prototype manufactured by SiCED, packaged in a TO-220 case. The static and dynamic behavior of the SiC power JFET is simulated and compared to the measured data to show the accuracy of the Spice model. The switching characteristics have been tested on a double pulse tester under multiple conditions. A similar double pulse test circuit with parasitics in consideration has been simulated in Spice with the MOSFET model, which gave good results.

The state space model is effective on analyzing non-stationary time series data, especially in adapting better to the dynamic variation analysis of the time series data and forecasting demand,by replacing fixed parameters with the variable ones.This article elaborates the constructing process of state space model by the measurement equation and state equation. This article also selects M0 money supply, M1 money supply, M2 money supply as the characterize variables of monetary policy, selects the national housing climate Index as characterize variables of real estate development,status regression model with stronger dynamic analysis capabilities as empirical analysis tool, with 2005 to 2012 monthly data of relevant variables as empirical analysis object, carry out the empirical study of relationship between the development of China's real estate industry and the amount of the three currencies. The empirical results show that the amount of three currencies elastic influence for real estate development are positive, M2 money supply impact of greater intensity. Among, M0 money supply influence gradually weakened, M1 and M2 money supply influence gradually increased.

Customer satisfaction is an important factor for service-oriented enterprises to increase their competitive ability. Finding a good method to assign the finite service personnel with different service capabilities to different customers so as to maximize customer satisfaction is crucial for these enterprises. In this paper, we construct a multi-objective programming model with the method of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and obtain the maximum of customer satisfaction by assigning service personnel according to the requirement of different customers. It is proved that the model is practical and operational by a specific example.

The sliding mode controller is used to speed up the error convergence when the error is greater than one. To reduce the error terminal sliding mode controller is recommended in this research. Fuzzy hype-plane variable sliding mode controller is adopted to guarantee the error convergence to zero in a finite time when the error is around the zero. The chattering in the conventional sliding model control systems is avoided with the employed continuous controller. To increase the system robustness in presence of uncertainty fuzzy logic controller is recommended. This technique is used to adjust the band of terminals. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme has strong robust against the uncertainties and disturbances, as well as leads to the convergence of the output to the desired value quickly and precisely than employing either sliding mode controller or terminal sliding mode controller alone.
Research and Implementation of a Vertical Search Engine in the Financial Domain

The exponential growth of the data on the web makes it difficult for web users to locate and obtain the interesting information. The general web search engines, such as Google, Baidu, reduce the degree of difficulty to some extent. The rise of vertical search engine provides a promising approach to address the big challenge. A Chinese vertical search engine is urgently needed to provide professional financial information retrieval service for related financial institutions and government agencies. Therefore, in this paper we investigate, design and implement a vertical search engine in the financial domain. Based onNutch plug-in mechanism, we provide and implement the details of a vertical search engine in the financial domain, especially in the finance domain focused crawler. Experimental results show that, the finance domain focused crawler based on Nutch plug-in mechanism has good performance and can satisfy practical requirements of medium search application, and the system runs well.

Enterprise organization can be thought as a complex system which constitutes of each level employees by interactions, and its robustness and fragility will affect tits survival and development directly, even its performance. This paper tries to look for the evolution characteristics of enterprise organization and constructs the model from complex network perspective by abstracting enterprise organization, then derives and calculates its robustness and fragility, and obtain the robustness threshold of enterprise organization which under the random attacks and deliberate attacks. The conclusion can be drawn through case study are as follows: the enterprise organization is a scale free network, when it reaches a certain scale, its stability depends on the number of junior staff interaction. So we can improve the robustness of enterprise organization by changing the network formation mechanism, strengthening network maintenance and create a good atmosphere of teamwork.

In this paper, a comparison is made for tuning methods of PID controller to improve the performance of the position control system of DC motor. Firstly, the PID controller is tuned using conventional Ziegler –Nichols method and then by using Simulink Response Optimization tool box available in MATLAB software. Further, Fuzzy gain scheduling of PID controller is investigated in which fuzzy rules are utilized on-line to adapt the PID controller parameters based on the error and its first time derivative. The result shows that the gain scheduling scheme for DC motor position control system have presented superior performance compared to other methods.

With the development of information technology, E-business becomes the core competition of small and medium enterprises in recent years. In this paper, we make an empirical test to analyze how the application of E-business will effect on the business performance. The result shows that the E-business application index increased 1 percentage can drive sales volume increased by 0.22 percentages, so the effect of E-business to SMEs' business performance is obvious. From Johnson co-integration test, the result shows that there exist at least one direct co-integration relationship between E-business application and sales volume, which means that there exist a long-term equilibrium relationship between E-business application and sales volume in SMEs.
Modeling Handover in Satellite Communications

The Handover is one of the key subjects in maintaining the quality of service offered by non-geostationary constellation systems. As the satellite coverage moves according to the satellite motion, the continuity of a call must be maintained from one satellite to another. In case of the Handover fails, the call is dropped, resulting in a quality degradation of service. In this paper, the performance of several channel assignment strategies for a LEO satellite constellation is evaluated. The FCA and DCA methods are considered where its advantages and disadvantages are highlighted. Moreover, the Handover process implication in the call blocking probability is assessed via simulation. Strategies able to cope with the high number of Handovers, due to the high speed of the satellites, without affecting strongly the capacity of the system are investigated. Simulation models have been developed to implement all the features evaluated in this paper including the mobility model. An analytical description and interpretation of results are also presented.

It’s the inevitably choice for enterprises to low carbon production, which is the important way to cope with the carbon limitation in the future and to gain competitiveness. Based on factor analysis, present paper developde low carbon production behavior questionnaire and investigated 265 enterprises managers in JiangsuProvince. Results of PLS test shows that: government policies, enterprise development, foreign trade have apparent effects on low carbon production behavior; the role of the public pressure to low carbon production behavior is not found. Through the driving factors analysis, present paper proposed some policy suggestions.
Waste Tire as an Asphalt Cement Modifier for Road Pavement

In view of the issue related to the rising cost of construction and need to contribute to the solution of the ever-growing environment backlog problems, the study paved the way for the recognition of using waste tire as an asphalt cement modifier for road construction to solve the current issue on waste disposal. In it’s entirely, this experimental study aimed to use Marshall and immersion-compression tests to determine the effect of waste tire as an asphalt cement modifier in Marshall Stability and flow, density and voids contents, and effect of water and compressive strength of compacted bituminous materials of highways. Observations from the tests performed were conducted in the laboratory where precise data were gathered and completely attained. Some interesting insights of the study are: (a) scrap waste tire is a partial replacement by 2% total weight of aggregate retained in No. 4 sieve has an average performance; (b) the use of scrap waste tire would result in the reduction of waste; (c) test result of specimens indicate the stability, and bonding strength of properties, and different reaction when gradation and scrap tire contents have varied and (d) marshall test having an appropriate workable mixing and right temperature gave sufficient compressive strength and lessen its flow or it deformation under a certain loads.

Traditional Data Business Process Outsourcing (Data-BPO) centers are facing the challenge of a static workflow based on manual operation. They cannot adapt to fast-changing demands from customers, which is proving to be a bottleneck in the Data-BPO service. This problem can be resolved through a Data-BPO automated production line, based on the usage of multi-agent (MA) and ontology. Through the cooperation of MA and categorization of ontology, the flexible production line can meet various requirementsofmass-customized data orders from different industries, professions, transactions and classes with instantaneous response. A Data-BPO flexible workflow will beimplemented dynamically, securely, quickly and smoothly. Therefore, developing an auto-processing flexible production line can greatly promote the efficiency and competitiveness of BPO enterprises currently based mostly on manual data-processing stations or manual-input equipment.
Design of FIR Filters for Fast Multiscale Directional Filter Banks

Fast multiscale directional filter bank (FMDFB) is a multiscale image representation scheme that is suitable for several image processing applications such as image denoising, texture retrieval, and pattern recognition. It is constructed using the iterative filter structures namely Laplacian pyramid and directional filter bank. In this paper, we present the method for designing the FIR filters required to construct FMDFB. Also, we demonstrate the perfect reconstruction and critically sampled property of FMDFB.

Since the initial impoundment of the Three Gorges Reservoir in June 2003 and approximately 30 m of reservoir level fluctuation, numerous preexisting landslides have been reactivated. To mitigate disastrous landslides, the Baishuihe landslide in the Three Gorges region was selected as a case study in predicting such displacement using the monitoring dataand a radial basis function-support vector machine (RBF-SVM) model.The landslide displacement was strongly influenced by periodic precipitation, reservoir level and groundwater level fluctuations. Primary landslide influencing factors were used as independent variables to predict the displacement using several kernel function types including sigmoid function, polynomial function, and RBF based on SVM model.Prediction results demonstrated that the RBF-SVM with the optimal parameters c, ε and r of 170, 0.05 and 0.04 can provide the best predictive accuracy, with the maximum and minimum absolute error values of 9.84 and 0.47 mm, respectively.

The Clinical Data Warehouse is a result of utilizing data warehouse technology in medical field. The clinical data usually collect from various sources (Clinical information system, and Patient data management system), and stored into data warehouse to be analyzed to make better use of their clinical data in order to Support decision making. The diversity of the nature of clinical data from other business data produces several challenges. These challenges include the clinical data format, business analysis, data integration, data quality, and ETL process. The paper is discussing the issues and challenges to address developing of a successful Data Ware Housing for medical organization, which provide a rich knowledge environment to support effective decision making and support research work. The paper concluded significant handling of these issues which affect the development phase of the Clinical Data Warehouse systems.

The electronic commerce is playing a more and more important role in the operation of the entire national economy. To realize the sharing and reuse of sensor data and improve interoperability, semantic sensor web(SSW)is proposed to add semantics information to existing sensor networksby utilizing domain, spatial and temporal anthologies and other related semantic technology.However these is seldom research on how to fully utilize the sensor data through a semantic way such as domain ontology based inference. This paperpresents stateofthe art of SSWin various aspects,and proposesthe method to associate data from semantic sensor web with domain ontology to realize the communication between different domain ontologies and SSW. In addition, this paperalso proposes a new calculation method of semantic similarity amongdifferent entities in different ontology. Experiments show that this method can effectively find the similar entitiesandrealize the knowledge sharing and ontologies reuse.

This article analyzed the principle of theory and dynamic mechanism on distribution and manufacturing sector co-evolution. Empirical study was based on collaborative degree model and co-evolution mode, applying the data of year 1986-2010 distribution and manufacturing sector of China. The empirical study demonstrated that, there existed interaction relations between distribution and manufacturing sector. The combined system of distribution and manufacturing sector was cooperative system. An equilibrium stable solution was existed in system evolution. Study also found out, the synergy degree of combined system for distribution and manufacturing sector was relatively low, but in collaborative development status overall. Order degree of manufacturing sector was higher than distribution sector, but both parties showed significant consistency.

Today, people use various kinds of information technology applications to deal with applications in our daily life, which generates lots of information. However,most of the informationis just stored in many Distributed Heterogeneous Databases (DHDs) as log records, instead of being used abundantly and effectively. In this paper, we mainly discusses about how to use these data in useful ways by Data Mining (DM). Relative to thetraditional Data Mining based on Data Warehouse (WD),we propose a definition named Application Data Pool (ADP)replacing WD in this paper. And we design a KnowledgeDiscovery in Databases (KDD) model with ADP to use these data more efficiently. At last we use an application in Shanghai University ID Card designed with the ADP to prove the effectiveness and feasibility in KDD.

In order to eliminate the drawbacks of EMR system management, this paper proposes an EMR system management model based on SNMP. The data of network management, which is stored in the Web page or Web server database, is collected by SNMP from MIB library. The information resources of the system, can not only be monitored by the management station through reading the values of the information database, but can be controlled by modifying certain values. The network and system can be managed, monitored, maintained and reported by using the Internet technologies of Web server, browser, and so on, so that the main control room of the hospital can communicate with other departments in computers and finally to achieve overall monitoring and integrated management. It can not only protect the EMR system to operate secure and stable, but also can reduce the cost of network management.

In order to improve the work of a single path network reliability failure case, this chapter put forward a set of a single backup path algorithm based on the path. In this algorithm, using two disjoint paths as work path to transmit data, and USES the path does not intersect with the job of a set the path as the backup path. Then, this algorithm, is proposed based on a single - a single backup path algorithm of shortest path set to ensure data under the case of the second work path of effective transmission. Theoretical derivation and numerical simulation results show that in a single work path failure cases, and the calculation of DMP - compared to BP algorithm, this scheme can greatly improve network reliability, and save the network resources.
