A Research on User Behavior Sequence Analysis Based on Social Networking Service Use-Case Model

This paper will put forward a use-case model of social networking service, which reflects the application requirements of social networking service for different roles. Based on data, information and behavior in this model, which have been released, collected and preprocessed by different roles in social networking service, the author will mainly analyze user behavior sequence using Web sequence mode mining algorithm improved. The experimental results show that implementation of this analysis process based on Struts2 technology not only provides a reference example for the data analysis of the network application service based on the mainstream framework technology, but also provides a technical platform condition for formulating the business decisions of social networking service.

Efficiency of team knowledge management in outsourcing plays a vital role in competitive advantage building. Knowledge collaboration (KC) is a strategy method of knowledge management, which pay more attention not only on efficiency of knowledge cooperation, but also on value added of intellectual capital and social capital. In this paper, the nature of KC and its relations with intellectual capital and social capital has been discussed firstly, then a KC performance evaluation system has been proposed, which combined two aspects, collaboration effect measurement through value added count and cooperation efficiency measurement through accuracy and timeliness calculation. This evaluation system is very benefit for KC research and practicing.

Protection of PDF Files: a Sharing Approach

Portable Document Format (PDF) is a popular file format to store documents. Protection of PDF files is thus important. In this paper, we present a (t, n) PDF-sharing scheme which shares the given secret PDF file F among n stego-PDF files. Each stego-PDF file looks completely identical to its original PDF version. When people collect sufficient number (t) of stego-PDF files among the n created stego-PDF files, the secret PDF file F can be revealed error-freely, while less than t stego-PDF files gets nothing but noise. Therefore, our protection not only tolerates missing, but also resists thief’s peeping. As a result, the scheme provides the readers a different approach to the protection of important PDF files, in a manner quite distinct from the watermark or encryption approaches used by commercial PDF makers.

Numerous past studies have indicated a strong linkage between customer satisfaction and business performance exhibited through timely responses and delivery of customer requests. As the enterprise software industry is shifting to capabilities such as timely delivery of new features, fast delivery of customization requests, and close collaboration between customers and software development (including DevOps), this study examined the usage of a software tool to accelerate the responses to customer change requests within a product development organization. This paper analyzes a comprehensive case study (from conception to deployment) of a prototype created by IBM Rational Software AM release team to collect, analyze, monitor the flow of customer change requests for a set of products. The results of this work have led to a more accessible, frequent and informative tracking and reporting system that has significantly reduced the response delivery time for customers. The implication of this study could be applied to many software development companies to improve customer responses and promote open development and DevOps processes. This study is only limited to one firm from a particular industry sector, but nonetheless it offers future exploration opportunities for researchers and practitioners to better utilize currently available resources within their organization to increase customer satisfaction. This study also suggests a cost-effective way to facilitate collaboration between development and project management teams.

As the industrial environment becomes more competitive, supply chain management has become essential. The objective of this research is to develop a multi-echelon inventory model for a deteriorating item and to derive an optimal joint total cost. Inventory models for the manufacturer and the retailer were developed when deteriorating rates were constant, and demand rate of customer decreased linearly with time and depended on retailers’ current inventory level. The objective was to develop an optimal ordering strategy for retailers to minimize the average total cost of this inventory system. This paper establishes an inventory model of manufacturers and retailers, and gives the optimal production time algorithm. Then, we will carry out simulation test for example. We calculate the system of minimum average total cost that respectively from producers, retailers and integration. Thus, it confirms that the average total cost which from the supply chain integration is lower than from the manufacturer or retailer alone.

Concentrations of natural radionuclides (226Ra, 232Th and 40K) content and its radiological hazards were presented in this paper for variety of commonly used building materials soil, sand, redbrick, clay brick, limestone and cement. Measurements were done by using gamma spectrometry (NaI (Tl) 3”x 3”). The radiation hazard indices like: Radium equivalent (Raeq), external hazard index (Hex), activity concentration index (Iex), the specific dose rates in door (D), and the annual effective dose (DE) due to gamma radiation were calculated and compared with internationally recommended values.

The granary monitoring systems in used in China are mostly based on wired networks such as RS-485 serial bus, CAN fieldbus, etc. Inevitably these monitoring systems have drawbacks of high installation cost, high failure rate and high maintenance cost. Aiming at these problems, this paper designed a granary temperature and humidity monitoring system based on Zigbee wireless network. The monitoring system consists of sensor modules as Zigbee end devices, a host PC connected to a Zigbee coordinator and some Zigbee routers if necessary. The sensor module is a temperature and humidity testing device using a CC2430 as the controller and a SHT11 as the sensor. All testing results are displayed as figures and curves in real-time on the host PC, and history data are saved in a database file for further analysis.

Energy Efficiency and Economy Analysis of a Range-extended Electric Bus in Different Chinese City Driving Cycles

Based on establishing the powertrain simulation model of the range-extended electric bus, the selected driving cycles are Chinese city and Zhuzhou city of Hunan province, the energy efficiency and economy of the range-extended electric bus is simulated and analyzed with the energy management strategies of CD-CS and Blended. The simulation results show that, the energy efficiency and economy of the range-extended electric bus is different in different driving cycles. Compared with the conventional fuel bus, the energy efficiency is the highest with CD-CS strategy, cost saving can reach 32.81%.

Software change is an ineluctable part of the software lifecycle. To avoid the degradation of the software quality, changes need to be performed in a controlled and rigorous manner. Most often, the management of software changes presents itself as a decision problem where software analysts have to decide whether to accept the change request and eventually how to implement the change if it is accepted. The present work’s focus is on the architectural change management. We propose a solution to this problem, which requires the software analysts to assess the impact of the software change on a set of software attributes. This assessment uses the fuzzy sets theory. An algorithm is also designed to infer a common decision out of the analysts’ very likely subjective and inaccurate individual assessments. This part of the solution employs the Cognitive Attraction Theory. The solution is validated through an industrial case study.

In this article, aiming at complex prediction problems of the rail transit passenger flow and prediction problems combined with the actual situation of rail transit in Beijing. We will propose a fusion model of passenger flow for predicting. It can improve the prediction accuracy for passenger flow forecasting. We use the partial least squares regression method to solve multicollinearity between the dependent variable. The method of principal component analysis can rescreen the all the factors which are affect the passenger flow. To extract comprehensive variable this has the best ability to explain the passenger flow from all of the information, in order to solve the relevance of statistics, noise and information redundancy. The nonlinear prediction model which is between comprehensive variable and passenger flow will be established. Finally, through the passenger flow forecasting of exchange station of Beijing Metro Line 1 to verify the effectiveness of the method.

Hardware interfacing system for visual C++ plays an important role in co-design of the embedded computer system. It links the software part and the hardware part of the system. The design process supports software interface implementation and hardware interface synthesis. This paper shows the hardware and software interfaces can be implemented by using low cost laboratory apparatus in embedded computer system, which includes the primitive interface, the synchronous interface and the data communication protocol between the hardware and the software.

Wind is an important source of renewable energy. Bangladesh being a tropical country which has a lot of wind flow at different seasons of the year. In this paper, wind power system with battery storage will be presented that can play electricity to our daily uses. Rayleigh distribution functions were considered and fitted to estimate of wind speed data. In our study, we studied previously collected data on the wind resources available in Bangladesh and by analyzing this data and have necessary accessory for application like wind power generation. The wind resources were mapped with the wind power density and the annual mean wind power estimated at, 194.2556W/m² and 2351.76 Kh and the annual mean wind speed 2.34635 kph on 50m heights and RCL = 0.

Traditional MVC model is a monopoly-like patterns in response to the request, although there are a lot of advantages, but the performance of the layer is weak, and AJAX just make up for shortcomings in this regard.Ajax is the popular Web client technology, providing a asynchronous programming model by the adoption of Java Script and DHTML, so as to enhance the interactive web pages and the ability to respond so that the Web application offer the human-computer users a better experience. In this paper, it illustrates the development of Web applications by combination of both, and puts forward the reconstruction of the MVC pattern.

Industrial technology innovation strategic alliances are cooperative R&D organizations of benefit sharing and risk sharing, composed of enterprise, university and research institutions. Interests distribution mechanism of industrial technology innovation strategic alliances is one of the key factors affect its stable operation. This paper presents an interests distribution model based on the member's inputs of resources and risk compensation. Alliance members of greater contribution will get more revenue, while the higher risk-sharing members will get more compensation. Alliances will establish a more equitable interests distribution mechanism by taking into account both resource inputs and risk compensation of members. Based on the theoretical research, the paper also gives the results of empirical analysis.

A comprehensive ventilation approach requires not only air exchange but also in many cases indoor humidity control. High humidity levels decrease occupant comfort and increase the likelihood of problems, such as mold growth. Occupants presently use air-conditioning systems or dehumidifiers in order to reduce the indoor moisture levels. These systems use large amounts of electricity and are expensive. Desiccant systems have shown several advantages, compared to conventional cooling and dehumidification systems. Therefore, their use is also spreading for restaurant and supermarket buildings, especially when the regeneration of the desiccant can be obtained by using available waste heat. When these systems are combined with vapor compression air conditioning systems, air -dry before entering the environment. In this paper Performance assessment of a Solid Desiccant Based on Dehumidifier System Coupled with Air Conditioning in a tropical climate Zone of IRAN have been evaluated. Results indicate that when the hybrid system is used, the efficiency increases 0.76 and energy consumption reduce 3.034kw.

Towards the Automatic Generation of Petri nets for the OWL-S-based Complex Processes

The OWL-S-based composite process can describe the large-grained Web Service which contains complex relations and state transitions. However, it is very difficult to analyze the behavior of OWL-S composite process directly, without the aid of other formal models. On the other hand, Petri net is capable of modeling asynchronous, concurrent systems accurately. In order to reduce the complexity of analyzing OWL-S composite process, we introduce a method that converts OWL-S composite processes to ones described by Petri net. Based on the nine mapping rules presented in this paper, it translates the input, output and control structure of atomic processes into the corresponding elements in Petri net. We implement a tool named O2PJ, which converts OWL-S composite process into Petri net automatically based on our method, thereby reducing the complexity of analyzing OWL-S composite process.

This paper investigates the admission control problem in cognitive radio networks (CRNs) from the economic viewpoint. Each secondary user (SU) has the option of accessing the spectrum or balking on account of the trade-off between the service profit and the delay cost. In order to avoid disturbing the transmission of primary users (PUs), the secondary user requires detecting the presence of PUs before starting its own communication. In addition, whenever a PU appears on the working channel, the SU must halt its transmission to guarantee the communication quality of PU. Therefore, regarding the actions of PU and SU, the licensed channel can be seen as a server switching between two working modes ON/OFF and each SU's data packet, call or connection as a customer. We propose a partially observable M/M/1 queueing model to describe the decision process of SUs. Based on the queueing model, we present two admission control strategies to maximize the welfare of individual SU and the whole society respectively.

In this paper, a Cuckoo Search Algorithm (CSA) is proposed for solving environmental economic load dispatch (EELD) problem with quadratic fuel function. Cuckoo Search is a new meta-heuristic algorithm inspired from the obligate brood parasitism of some cuckoo species by laying their eggs in the nests of other host birds of other species for solving optimization problems with promising results. However, Cuckoo Search has not been applied to EELD problem so far. Therefore, the paper presents application of CSA to the problem. The effectiveness of the proposed method is tested on several cases of dispatch and loads. The obtained result including fuel cost, emission and computation time from CSA are compared to those from other method reported in the paper. The comparison result has indicated that the proposed CSA is a very efficient method for solving EELD problem.

With the increasing to IT Outsourcing Managed Service, talent dispatch agencies spring up as time goes by. But fiercer competition has been brought here as the talent dispatch agency quickly develops and the market share tenses. The large cost imposed by HR management of talent dispatch agency stands a higher proportion in capital, so it is fatal to reduce HR cost for the talent dispatch agency. This article based on this background combines the study for existing workflow in talent dispatch and establishes a multiple HR planning model. This model provides a solution in how to dispatch when, considering the balance between recruitment and the extra working hours, and conducts the way of personnel dispatch for an optimizing choice within the dispatch planning so as to maximize the benefit for the dispatching enterprises. Additionally, this article also generates the recruitment planning and the dispatch planning through the calculation of an example via computer software as the design implication of work.

Using Semantic Web for Mobile Services Personalization

Personalization is a desired functionality for applications within mobile environments. One approach to personalization of mobile services is by the use of contextual information. In this paper we describe an architecture for this purpose where we utilize semantic web technologies representing person-profiles. The developed ontology that covers personal information and food information is based on personas and scenarios from the food shopping domain. The profile covers three levels of information; personal information, long term information and temporary interests. The proposed concept of personalization is illustrated in two scenarios. The personalization concept illustrated in the form of videos showing the scenarios at work is evaluated by using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to identify variables for investigations of mechanisms important for understanding interest in and acceptance of this type of solution.

Research on the Relationship between Level of Rural Human Capital and Urban-Rural Income Gap

With the economically backward “Micro-Northwest” region as an example, and the level of rural human capital as a factor affecting urban-rural income gap, this paper conducted an analysis toward the relationship between the level of rural human capital and urban-rural income gap. First, the paper used method of average years of education to measure and calculate the level of human capital in rural areas, and arrived at a conclusion that though the level of rural human capital in Micro-Northwest rose during the period of 1990 and 2010,, the rise was slow and the overall level was not high, indicating that it is in phase of the “Nurkse Mode”; Then the paper used group variance method to measure and calculate urban-rural income gap, and through the comparison and analysis, the paper believed that as a whole, the urban-rural income gap in Micro-Northwest was expanding, but its tendency to expand was mild. During its process of rising, the level of rural human capital triggered urban-rural income gap to present as a two-segment periodical inverted “U” curve. Therefore the paper concluded that the improvement of the level of rural human capital in Micro-Northwest did not cause the income gap between urban and rural areas to fall all the while, but rise and fall both. The direction of its influence on the urban-rural income gap was uncertain, which was inconsistent with people’s widespread speculations. And finally, from the standpoint of human capital, the paper put forward the countermeasures against reducing urban-rural income gap.

It was announced by Chinese government at the Copenhagen Conference that there would be 40-45% mitigation of the 2005 level intensity of carbon by 2020. Every industry in China is preparing to realize this national reduction target. A lot of work have been tried to achieve low-carbon development in different industries, but relatively little work has linked low-carbon development to municipal solid waste management(MSWM). This article focuses on how to develop low-carbon MSWM using a quantitative approach. Firstly, the MSWM system including some mutual influence factors is investigated and some historical data are given in support for the research of their quantitative relationship. Secondly, a differential dynamic system model with fuzzy coefficients is proposed to predict waste amount, disposal cost, energy consumption and carbon intensity. Finally, an application to Chengdu in southwestern China, as a representative of a developed city, is presented to show the trend of MSWM in a low-carbon economy and prove the effectiveness of the proposed model.

Diffusing RFID-Sensor Networks have been used widely in many domains. This paper investigates and generalizes security and privacy requirements for diffusing RFID-Sensor networks; A secure authentication protocol and its corresponding search protocol based on one-way hash function and dynamic ID mechanism are proposed subsequently, this authentication protocol only requires O(1) work to identify and authenticate a tag in the backend server and is particularly suitable for the low-cost RFID systems, the security and privacy characters of these two protocols are analyzed as well.

Application of Complex Event Processing in the Express Business Automation

Complex Event Processing (CEP) is a promising technology that deals with event stream in a cenralized manner. But in some application scenario such as the express delivery business, business-related data is scattered in the network and must be obtained by request. For the purpose of resolving the difficulty to utilize and process such distributed infomation, the paper comprehensively utilizes various advanced technologies to design an automation Internet of Things (IoT) framework which can provide the rich-semantic complex events to the senior application. Firstly, this paper proposes the framework which can realize the automatic recognition of the parcel and positive request for the associated semantic data. Secondly, a hierarchical modularized ontology is established for the sake of sharing the background knowledge. Finally, we have implemented a prototype system with the proposed object and semantic event model and detection method. Test results from simulation data indicate that the system can operation stably and response quickly to express delivery business.

The Impact of R&D on Software Firms’ Performance and Efficiency

The software industry is a typical knowledge-intensive business services and R&D profoundly affects the competitiveness of the software enterprises. According to the type of products or services provided by software companies, software enterprises are divided into system software companies, application software companies and service software companies. Taking software enterprises in top 1000 global research and development as the research sample, the influence factors of software companies performance are studied using Panel data model. After eliminating no significant influence factors, the efficiency of system software companies, application software companies and service software companies are measureed and compared based on the DEA method. Finally, the factors affecting efficiency are studied through the Tobit regression. The results show that R&D improve company performance mainly by promote production frontier, namely the technology progress. R&D can’t improve the efficiency of system software companies and application software companies but can effectively improve the efficiency of service software companies.

This paper explored the evolution mechanism of urban distribution system’s resource integration evolution by using self-organization theories; it concluded the condition evolution mechanism, dynamic mechanism as well as its principle mechanism at first. After that, it constructed the evolution model of urban distribution system’s resource integration evolution process respectively under the condition of single order parameter and two order parameters. At the end of this paper, it summed up the "four stages, three phase transitions" characteristics of urban distribution system’s resource integration evolution process.
