In this paper, we present a corrugation software features and its related development issues. Typically, in a paper corrugation factory, such a software is very important. The main features in the software is the paper roll inventory management and paper roll selection planning. The inventory management includes the stocking of the paper rolls. The roll selection plan involves creating a roll selection schedule, roll selection simulation and adjustment. The two features are related to each other. The plan generation considers the paper information and inventory. The plan simulation also suggests the inventory planning and reordering for future stocking. Thus, many related reports are produced from such a system. We present an example of user interfaces, database design, and an algorithm for plan generation. We also present an example case where the software is being used in a factory and can help minimize the paper wastes.

Opportunities born of cutting-edge technologies and new information and knowledge enable the overall resources and effort needed to implement services to be reduced by shifting the service boundary to a service that is operated mainly by the supplier, a super-service, or to a service whose complete operation is the responsibility of the customer, self-service. Shifting the service to the super- or self-service mode also presents an opportunity to check the amounts and types of resources required and the service’s effort map and to imbue the service with sustainability. It requires first the responsibility of both the provider and the customer to check the sustainability of the service, but the customer should also choose the most sustainable service opportunity. Moreover, shifting the service to super- or self-service and the main operation to the provider or the customer, respectively, obliges them to institute the proper controls to ensure service sustainability. Finally, the move, in general, toward either a super- or a self-service decreases resource utilization and the corresponding effort required, thereby making the service more sustainable. But it also engenders a different distribution of service resources and effort between the provider and the customer and facilitates the design of new sustainable services.

In service oriented architecture, services are the basic assemble that aims to assist the building of business application in a more flexible and interoperable manner for enterprise collaboration. To satisfy the needs of service clients and to adapt to changing needs, service composition is performed to compose the various capabilities of available services. With the proliferation of services presenting similar functionalities around the web, the task of service selection for service composition is intricate. It is vital to provide systematic methodology for selecting required web services according to their non-functional characteristics or reliability. In this paper, the simulated annealing algorithm is developed to maximize the non-functional Characteristic reliability of the composite web service and the genetic algorithm is developed and theses two algorithms are compared based on the time complexity and optimality of results.

Technology and innovative thinking have changed the design and delivery of banking services dramatically these days. An Internet bank is an electronic, virtual bank having little or even no branching system and relying on others’ physical networks to meet the majority of customers’ physical transaction needs. The critical success and failure factors of Internet Banks have been explained only by the economies of scale, and the learning and experience effects of Internet Banks based on the perspective of ecologies. In this study, the critical success factors of Internet Banks are investigated based on the strategic choice by organizations and the resource-based view of the firms instead of an organizational ecology perspective. To this end, 31 major Internet Banks have been classified by the size and profitability of banks and three strategic groups have been derived. The three representative company cases dealing with 2 successful cases and 1 failed case were analyzed, and the critical success factors of Internet banks were derived. Academic and practical implications are discussed.

Radial Basis (Exact Fit) and Linear Layer (Design)ANN models were developed for predicting the shelf life of processed cheese stored at 30o C. Processed cheese is protein rich food, and is a comparable supplement to meat protein. Soluble nitrogen, pH, standard plate count, yeast & mould count, and spore count were taken as input parameters, and sensory score as output parameter for developing models. ANN model predicted the shelf life of processed cheese as 28.54 days which is close to experimental shelf life of 30 days.

Speech recognition is a challenging yet important speech technology. First, an introduction proposes components of typical automatic speaker recognition system .Two modes like enrollment mode and recognition is discussed. Then we discuss about Feature Extraction [8] .It is used to reduce the dimensionality of the input vector while maintaining the discriminating power of signal. After this Gaussian mixture modeling is discussed, which is the speaker modeling technique used in most systems. Vector Quantization Process is also discussed and then paper highlights on Supervectors. A few speaker modeling alternatives, namely, neural networks and support vector machines, are mentioned. Most recent technique to solve the Speaker Verification System is to combine GMM with SVM .So GMM Supervector [3] is also discussed. Here GMM supervector based SVM is applied to this field with spectral features. A GMM is trained for each utterance, and the corresponding GMM supervector is used as the input feature for SVM. Then, some applications of speaker verification are proposed, including on-site applications, remote applications, applications relative to structuring audio information, and games.
