Robust Recommendation Algorithm based on Metadata Fusion

The metadata information of users and items for enhancing the recommendation system robustness has important valuable. Following this design philosophy, this paper first presents the user suspects assessment strategy based on Probabilistic Latent Semantic Analysis, the user suspected sexual and generic items such as meta-information to model parameters and Logistic Regression way into Bayesian probabilistic matrix factorization (BPMF) model, and then proposes Metadata-enhanced Variational Bayesian Matrix Factorization (MVBMF), designed a model of incremental learning strategy based on robust linear regression, in order to reduce the demand for model rebuilding. Experimental results show that MVBMF can effectively defend against shilling attacks and also has a high level of performance for strong and weak generalization.

In this paper significant studies will be reviewed about the usability issues, requirements and methods for Mobile E-Commerce. In the beginning we will support the research problem with a larger observation of the mobile applications usability, followed up by the different authors’ definitions. After that we will focus on the usability issues for M-Commerce applications, including the mobile usability issues, E-Commerce usability issues and Mobile Commerce usability issues. Then, relevant studies about the usability requirements and methods will be presented narrowing down the research problem. Finally, summary will be given for this paper creating a base for our conceptual framework.

With the growing popularity of the iPhone, there is a constantly increasing demand of users for mobile applications of iPhone, in which the alarm clock application is contained. But existing alarm clock application is not favored by many users because of functional singleness. This paper presents an iOS-based mobile application on alarm clock with online radio support, and designs and implements its framework by virtue of Objective-C and SQLite in the Xcode 4.5.2 development environment, based on the popular three-tier MVC software design structure. After the application is installed and deployed on iPhone, it is available to users by providing some functions such as auto-playing radio, setting radio alarm clock, turning off the alarm by shaking iPhone, sleeping timer by radio, reserving radio program, binding and sharing microblog. This proposed iOS-based mobile application provides users with more choices and allows the user to enjoy a more colorful leisure time. The practical test from some people shows that the proposed application is very popular with users, which also illustrates its practicability and effectiveness.
The Naive Bayesian Algorithm-based Prisoner’s Dilemma Game Model

Prisoners’ dilemma is a typical game theory issue. In this study, it was treated as an incomplete information game to establish a related machine learning model using a naive Bayesian classification method. The model established was referred to as the Bayes model. Using this model, the incomplete information game was soluble with the assistance of statistical machine learning. This study proceeded as follows: firstly, four typical models were run against the Bayes model some 10,000 times. The total incomes of the models recorded suggested that Bayes model was more advantageous than other models. Even in a multi-player prisoners’ game, Bayes model also presented the desired level of performance and accrued a higher income than other models. Further statistical analysis implied that the Bayes model and the widely accepted optimum strategy tit-for-tat (TFT) model showed a tendency to be prone to defection. Secondly, according to the games run on the natural Bayes model, as well as the natural TFT model, it was found that the Bayes model accrued more benefits than the TFT model on average. Finally, comparison of the Bayes model with the TFT model revealed that the Bayes model was better. This demonstrated the efficacy of the Bayes model constructed in this study and moreover, provided a novel idea for solving the problem of an incomplete information game.
Prioritization of Watershed through Sediment Yield Index Using RS and GIS Approach

Watershed is an ideal unit for planning and management of land and water resources (Gajbhiye et al. 2013). Watershed prioritization on the basis of soil erosion has become inevitable component of watershed management in order to conserve this precious natural resource. In the absence of sediment yield data, a Sediment Yield Index expressing the relative sediment yield on the basis of grading the basin or watershed in order of priority for soil and water conservation measures. The study area is divided into 15 sub-watersheds on the basis of drainage conditions. Sediment Yield index has been calculated for all the fifteen sub-watershed, following the All India Soil and Land Use Survey (AISLUS) method and accordingly prioritized. The maximum SYI value of 1337.36 is recorded for Mohgaon (MG)-12 sub-watersheds and minimum value of 846.58 is in Mohgaon (MG)-11 sub-watersheds.

Check-in service as one of the most popular services in mobile social network services (MSNS), has serious personal privacy leakage threats. In this paper, check-in sequences of pseudonym users were buffered , and association graph for buffered check-in sequences was built, which can achieve a privacy guarantee of k-anonymity. The method guarantee the number of lost check-in locations is minimized while satisfying users' privacy requirements, it is also reduces the cost of finding trajectory k-anonymity set. At last, the results of a set of comparative experiments with (k, δ) - anonymity on real world datasets show the method's accuracy and effectiveness.

Numerous approximation algorithms have been presented by researchers for approximation of minimum vertex cover, all of these approaches have deficiencies in one way or another. As minimum vertex cover is NP-Complete so we can’t find out optimal solution so approximation is the way left but it is very hard for someone to decide which one procedure to use, in this comparison paper we have selected five approximation algorithms and have drawn detailed experimental comparison. Best available benchmarks were used for the comparison process which was to compare multiple algorithms for the same task on different aspects. Extensive results have been provided to clarify the selection process, probability of production optimal solutions, run time complexity and approximation ratio were factors involved in the process of selection.

It is of great significance to reform the patterns of library resource construction and services in MOOC, for example, it can help to fulfill the individual needs of learners, and achieve sustainable development for the library. Firstly, the author analyzes the characteristics of MOOC; secondly, discusses the characteristics of information construction of library; and then designs a knowledge discovery model of the library information resources construction in MOOC; finally proves that it could provide favorable support for the improvement of library resource construction and services to discover knowledge from library data base according to the result of case study.

In the field of occupation sports, the coach is the compass. If there is no coaches for guidance, the athletes-training direction is not clear, the harder training, the more inefficient. If athlete lost the direction, quick action can be very dangerous. The important role of coaches is self-evident, but because of the special nature of the work of coaches, an athlete training success is difficult to accurately measure the efforts of athletes and coaches, which caused the coaches had mass phenomenon, while the occupation moral constraints coaches’ behavior alone is insufficiency. Therefore, how to assess the quality and ability of coaches has become a problem in sports. Based on the study of the coaches competency model in the previous, and take the economics calculation method of the super efficiency DEA as data mining method, calculated by the computer, effectively reduce the complexity of the algorithm, directly linked the coach's competence and training outcomes and then calculate the training efficiency, to explore a method for considering the level of coaches.

Mobile banking is more easily and fast banking today, but its challenges to payments security system. Many organization or financial institutions are now incorporating mobile banking and financial services as a key component of their growth strategy, and use of the mobile phone to conduct banking and financial services tasks continues to rise among early adopters. Large number of security challenge of mobile banking and payment system have been proposed in to the current research issues, our goal is to gain insight into the current status of mobile banking and payment system security challenge research issues published to date, conducted a systematic literature review mobile banking security challenges that have been claimed between January 2008 to December 2012.this paper presents the result of the systematic review, 10 publication and 20 were selected as primary studies, from which a large number of challenges were elicited. By applying qualitative data analysis methods to extracted data from the review. However among the majority of consumers, security threats are most commonly listed as the primary reason for not trying mobile banking. This review will attempt to technically address these largely unfounded consumer security fears while helping to lay a roadmap for financial institutions successful implementation of mobile banking technology. A clear and emerging new channel in the space of banking and payments is mobile. A key challenge with gaining user adoption of mobile banking and payments is the customer’s lack of confidence in security of the services. Understanding the mobile banking and payments market and ecosystem is critical in addressing the security challenges. There are new security risks introduced with mobile banking and payments that must be identified and mitigated.

Vehicle navigation system can effectively alleviate traffic congestion, reduce pollution, and reduce travel cost and other problems. As is known to all, the traditional ones are all just static path planning with problems of not only weak effectiveness but also lack of standard optimal path options. They usually provide only one path which represents the shortest time or shortest distance, and ignore the actual demands of the dirivers. Based on traffic data of the past, the upcoming traffic flows can be estimated. With the help of the improved ant colony algorithm, the dynamic optimal path planning results will meet the need of the travelers according with multiple actual constraints.

Management of science & technology enterprise incubator is complicated with much uncertainty. Its performance is hard to be measured accurately. Therefore, this paper analyzes key factors that influence the management performance evaluation of incubators and constructs a management performance evaluation system. It proposes an improved extension membership degree evaluation model of science & technology enterprise incubator based on extension theory. This model puts in place extension distance and extension side-distance of management performance evaluation indicator and works out corresponding extension correlation function and weighted extension membership degree. Through a case study, the model and the algorithm are proved to be effective and feasible.

This work describes the different design and implementation of a GSM based remote systems. All existing systems either use GSM or GPRS technologies; however, GSM is the basic way of communication. Due to global GSM roaming facility and good network capability, there is virtually no requirement to build additional network. GSM based SMS services are very cheap and affordable; therefore transmission of data based on SMS in real-time applications has become very popular. GPRS data transmission speed is much faster than normal text message, approx 28 to 32 SMS per/min may be achieve over GPRS. This study explores different tools and technique being used to control communication network through SMS. We also critically review the merit and demerit of various existing solutions. The results of the study are reported in this paper.

With the changes of social values and guidance of government policies, there is grim situation of students’ employment. Self-employment of students has become the direction of the development of students' employment. In order to improve the college students' employment ability during the training in school, we use Virtual Market Simulation technology to design and develop Students’ Competition Simulation Platform. Based on Java language and adopting of B/S structure of J2EE distributed application technology, it goes with LAN remote teaching training through website single sign-on. The platform includes career assessment simulation, innovative thinking ability training, entrepreneurship practice competition, career planning, analysis of cases of running business and etc. The students fight in skill completions through working with team members. The system simulates all processes of starting business in real com, which improves the students’ ability of entrepreneurial cognition and judgment on decision making.

Although risk management is an essential requisite for success of all endeavors, it is highly important to balance the risky contexts in the programmes for realizing the organizational gains and strategies. As the programmes remark a distinct locus in the organizational hierarchy, they mandate adoption of precise risk management approaches. Telecommunication development programmes are risky and complex undertakings; consequently they obligate meticulous controls in order to be prosperous. This study seeks the implementation of a specialized programme risk management procedure for a large-scale development programme – the Next Generation Wireless Mobile Services programme – in Pakistan telecom market. The proposed procedure follows the standard risk management process in an organized way, utilizes certain decision tools, and attempts to balance the risks facing the programme. It demonstrates how some information gathering ideas together with the popular tools e.g. the Analytical Hierarchy Process, the As Low as Reasonably Practicable rationale and the Standard Deviation notions can be used for balancing the risky environs in the subject programme. The results present substantive improvement in the risk exposures of said telecom programme and authenticate the methodology offered. This approach can also be useful in managing risks in a variety of other (large-scale) programmes.

With the rapid development of Internet and television technology, users are not satisfied with the "one-stop" integrated service, they put forward higher requirements in time and interactive function. HD(High Definition) interactive TV platform as an integrated service platform by means of the network, communication, and video technology, can supply highly personalized and interactive shopping service for users. This paper focus the television shopping service based on HD interactive TV platform, does the research on the influencing factors to evaluate the television shopping service on HD interactive TV platform and then it comes to the conclusion that product quality, product price, product payment security, product payment ways, high- quality logistics service and other factors can influent the television shopping service based on HD interactive TV platform. So HD Interactive TV Platform should carry out the series of strategies from the point view of service providers, payment platforms and logistics to improve the interactive service quality.
Design and Performance Study of a Hot Water Driven 5 TR Capacity Absorption Cooling System

Use of high grade electrical energy, generated from fossil fuels, for cooling has increased environmental concerns like global warming and ozone layer depletion. Hence, there is a need to reduce dependence on them and explore potential environmental friendly options. In this aspect, vapor absorption system has scope of utilizing low grade energy source i.e. hot water from solar panel, to generate cooling effect and are environment friendly as no chloro-floro-carbons are used. The most usual combination of absorber refrigerant pair in such system is lithium bromide water (LiBr–H2O), where water vapor is the refrigerant. In present work, a hot water driven, single stage, absorption cooling system, using a lithium bromide water solution, is analyzed for determining the effect of various parameters on coefficient of performance (COP). Four basic stages in the absorption cycle are generation, condensation, evaporation and absorption with ideally no moving part. A configuration of theses four stages, having 5 TR cooling capacity is determined and examined for the variation in COP corresponds to the change in pressure and concentration. The pressure parameter is varied in condenser and evaporator, resulting graph shows that the increment in pressure of evaporator increases the COP whereas increment of pressure in condenser decreases the COP. At lower inlet concentration of LiBr solution to the absorber gives increment in COP.

Tourism market forecast is an important tool to analyze the tourism market trends, to understand the trends of the needs of tourism market, as well as to forecast tourism demand in the direction of regional tourism development, by which the great significance for tourism product development strategy and market strategy could be carried on. The traditional prediction methods paid much more attention to the accuracy of the forecasts, ignoring the results of the feasibility of forecasting and predicting operability, which had made it difficult to predict the results of scientific testing. This paper created a scientific evaluation system for predictive value, both to ensure the accuracy, stability of the predicted value, and to ensure the feasibility of forecasting and predicting the results of operation based on simple linear regression applied to the forecasts of the tourism market. Therefore, the outcome of the tourism market forecasts in this paper can provide a scientific basis for the government to develop the policy for tourism industry.
A Typhoon Recognition and Center Position Method based on Fengyun-2 Satellites Data

The recognition and center position methods of typhoon with high accuracy are essential for forecasting and monitoring of tropical cyclones (TCs) in the meteorological applications. We designed the improved adaptive threshold processing algorithms and segmentation of typhoon cloud system by using two value image connecting region labeling algorithm. It shows potential ability in typhoon cloud feature and the recognition of typhoon cloud system in northern hemisphere. We also designed algorithms of locating typhoon center by mathematical morphology. Experimental results show that the typhoon cloud system can be effectively recognized on could imagery and the center of cloud imagery can also be located by the proposed method. Our analysis indicated that typhoon recognition and center position accuracy based on FY-2 satellites data were high recognition rate and accuracy of the center location, and the methods can be applied to meteorological business systems.
QoS Broker based Architecture for Dynamic Web Service Discovery and Composition

With the widespread proliferation of web services, the demand on highly reliable and available services increases to satisfy business and personal needs. As the number of functionally similar web service increases on the Internet, Quality of Service (QoS) based web service selection and composition has gained much attention. However, the existing architectures for runtime service composition requires discovery of all functionally similar services, which consumes too much time. Instead, it can be possible to discover only those services which are highly reliable and thus included in composition. This issue can be solved by introducing a broker based architecture for automated dynamic web service discovery and composition in which the composition operation accepts as input a set optimized services along with their QoS specifications. The proposed architecture is able to reduce the composition time by performing optimized selection of services using Local Selection and Local Optimization (LSLO) approach during service composition. The architecture is fault tolerant and ensures improved reputation prediction accuracy of selected services using Mixed Opinion based Reputation Prediction (MORP) approach. In this paper, a comparative analysis is also performed on the basis of set of criterion to analyze the existing dynamic web service discovery and composition architectures for their strengths and weaknesses.

Most research on service matching and composition (or bundling) has been technical in nature, viz., at the IT service level. Very little has been done on value-based service matching and bundling. By “value-based”, we mean the value added by a service over and above the basic functional requirement that the service is supposed to satisfy. Examples of value added could be lowered cost, higher performance, improved security, etc. To that end, in this paper, we present our idea of a Service Value Broker (SVB),that performs value-driven service matching and bundling. Via an approach specifying business and technical interfaces for business services and IT services respectively, we show how value can be calculated and integrated at the business layer. Further, we also show how our approach makes it possible to determine the appropriate IT services to be selected so as to provide the required value add at the business layer. We demonstrate our ideas via a realistic case study in the E-Commerce domain.

This paper examines the determinants of foreign entry mode choice in China’s banking sector with a focus on strategic investment and wholly-owned subsidiaries. A conceptual framework that integrates the institution-based view and resource-based view is developed to analyze what determines foreign entry mode choice in China’s banking sector. On the institution side, this paper finds that regulation/deregulation of host country on foreign financial institutions, especially the regulation on business scope and entry requirements, affect foreign entry mode choice. On the resource side, strategic investment provides foreign financial institutions access to location-specific resources, especially customer information, and then the wholly-owned subsidiaries of financial institutions would like to utilize the location-specific resources to do their own business.
System Dynamics Modeling of Backup Purchasing Strategies under Supply Disruption Risks

We model a supply chain using system dynamics involving one retailer and two independent suppliers that are referred to as major supplier and backup supplier, respectively. Furthermore, the chain provides only one product; only the major supplier will experience disruptions, and the buyer uses the backup supplier either as a contingent supplier or a standby supplier. Our paper extends the existing literature and contributes by providing a better understanding of the impacts of supply disruptions on the system performance and shedding deeper insights into the value of a backup supply. Three models are built under supply disruption risks: supply chain without backup supplier, that with a contingent supplier and the one with a stand-by supplier. The retailer’s total profits are also compared to help the decision-makers choose the appropriate backup purchasing strategy.

Turbine blades are considered to be the heart of turbine and play a vital role in extracting energy from high temperature and high pressure gases. Without blades there would be no power and the slightest fault in blading would mean a reduction in efficiency and costly repairs. In this regard, an attempt has been made to analyze the failed marine gas turbine blade. Static structural and Steady state thermal analyses have been analyzed using ANSYS 14.5 to predict the probable conditions which leads blade failure. To investigate the causes of high pressure temperature (HPT) turbine blade failures, a turbine blade of 30 MW gas turbine engine intended for operation onboard ship has been considered for the analysis. Before failure, this gas turbine blade was operated for about 10000 hours while its service life was expected to be around 15000 hours. To improve the life time of a blade, prediction of failure criteria has been analyzed. In addition, a comparative analysis has also been made to determine the strength and suitability of a HPT blade made of Nickel based super alloy X under examination. This material has been compared with other two materials such as Nimonic alloy 80A and Inconel 625. Based on the results of comparative study, it is concluded that Nickel based super alloy X can be a suitable material for the manufacturing of gas turbine blades.

Human resources are crucial in the enterprise’s development. The evaluation of the human resources competitiveness plays an important role in ensuring companies with good human resources. This paper investigates the multi-attribute evaluation of human resources competitiveness considering the characteristics of evaluation, such as complexity, multi-attribute and uncertainty. Thus, a model of human resources competitiveness based on the multi-attribute grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is proposed in this paper. This model has set up a multi-criteria evaluation system of human resources competitiveness of the enterprise. By analyzing quality of employee, resources inside the enterprise and potential for development of the enterprise, it creates a fuzzy evaluation model based on different criteria on evaluating human resources competitiveness and a grey relational evaluation model. A grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model is formed when the two models are combined together. Finally, cases are raised to prove the effectiveness and feasibility of the model and the algorithm.

This paper deals with adoption of information and communication technology (ICT) in Saudi universities. and development of ICT to beneficial to Saudi societies. The rapid growth in wireless communication technologies and high-speed network applications to the internet, provide better facilities to the prevalence of educational programs and practices, notably e-learning remote, and the emergence of virtual schools and universities. In this way, many social problems in education, such as growing numbers of learners, and the geographical imbalance of educational institutions, and inability of existing institutions to meet the needs of development, can be fundamentally solved, and this e-learning in remote areas can further supply abundance of information, and transfer roles of teacher and students in continuing education. It is expected that in the future, the new technologies used in Saudi universities will not only increase intellectual productivity but also accomplish a qualitative change in the nature of learning. The e-learning in Saudi Arabia universities requires people and relevant technologies actively to tackle obstacles in order to make e-learning accessible and continually generates solution to improve education, especially in university level. Such understanding and the awareness of importance of accessible e-learning are highly crucial and should be accompanied by developing appropriate and enforceable policies aimed at improvement of legacy of distance learning among potential students.

Influenced by many factors, enterprise marketing capability is essential for improving the enterprise marketing competitiveness and its sustainable development. By studying the factors comprehensively and effectively, the enterprise can better recognize their marketing capability and the direction of improvement. This paper studies and analyzes the enterprise marketing capability measure methods and proposes a new one based on fuzzy multi-attribute analysis model. This model recognizes the marketing capability of marketing plans from different enterprises by providing the evaluation indicators of marketing capability measure, establishing related evaluation index system, conducting the membership analysis of different kinds of capability measure indicators, and calculating Euclidean distance and fuzzy subordinate degree of those indicators. Finally, the practicality and feasibility of the model and algorithm is proved by case analysis and verification of marketing plans from different enterprises.
Improved Secure Uncertain Robot by Artificial Based Adaptive Methodology

This paper examines secure uncertain robot which performance is improved secure by artificial intelligence based on-line tuning method. Computed like torque (CLT) methodology is selected as a framework to construct the control law and address the better performance and reduce the error in presence of uncertainty in any trajectory. The main goal in security in any industrial factory is to guarantee acceptable trajectories tracking between the robot arm actual output and the desired input in presence of uncertainty and external disturbance. The proposed approach effectively combines the design technique from computed torque methodology is based on nonlinear stable system and fuzzy estimator to estimate the nonlinearity of undefined system dynamic in uncertain robot. The input represents the function between error and the rate of error. The outputs represent actual trajectory to improve the security, respectively. The fuzzy partly sliding switching methodology is on-line tune the computed torque like method based on adaptive methodology. The performance of the computed torque like method which controller coefficient is on-line tuned by fuzzy partly sliding switching algorithm (ACTLM) is validated the security through comparison with computed torque like methodology (CTLM). Simulation results signify good performance of trajectory in presence of uncertainty and external disturbance; it is used to show guarantee the security.
