Natural language communications using social networking and blogging services can result in the undesired revelation of private information. Existing disclosure control is tedious and error-prone because the user must set the disclosure level manually and must reconsider the level every time a new text is to be uploaded. This can lead to the revelation of private information or reduced enjoyment of the communication due to either disclosing too much text or hiding text that is meant to be shared. To solve these problems, we are developing a new disclosure control mechanism called DCNL or disclosure control of natural language information. DCNL automatically checks texts uploaded to social networking services or blog pages, detects words that might reveal private information, and warns the user about them. The granularity of DCNL is not the text but the words in the text. Consequently, it is not tiresome for the user and balances the protection of privacy with the enjoyment of communications. DCNL checks not only words that directly represent private information but also those that indirectly suggest it. Combinations of words are also checked. Analysis of the co-occurrence between words and reachability analysis with a search engine are used to infer what words imply what information.

The purpose of this research is to develop a comprehensive pricing decision-making support system that marketers in digital industry can use to set price level and quantity for digital products including mobile phone, TV, computer, mp3 player and monitor. The OpenTide China’'s pricing Decision-making Support System (OTC’'s PDSS) consists of the price response function for each product, the promotion response function, the cost function, mixture modeling, Kane’'s regency modeling and Brian’'s competitive algorithm. Then we have applied the OTC’'s PDSS to the digital industry and yielded the profit maximization price point, revenue maximization price point, and the predicted quantity level for each week for each product category.

In this paper, authors attempt to shed light on the factors that influence the locations of bank branches in establishing a bank’'s branch network from the angle of the network analysis. For this purpose, authors studied location strategy for bank through the analysis of inter-regional network using financial transaction data in Korea. The previous studies analyzed the locations of bank branches on the basis of their geographical characteristics. But, the significance of this study rests upon the fact that it endeavors to explore the location factors from a new perspective of the movement path of financial customers. For this analysis, the network between administrative districts, which form the unit of a location, was analyzed based on the financial transactional data. The important findings of this study are as follows. First, we found the factors that the income level, the spending level, the number of businesses, and the size of workforce in the pertinent region were influence to the size of a bank’'s market. Second, the network centrality index was found to have a significant effect on the locations of bank branches. The degree centrality was revealed to have a greater influence on the size of a bank’'s market than does the closeness centrality. The results of this study suggest the needs for a new approach from the perspective of network in furtherance of other factors that have been considered important in the previous studies of the branch location strategies.

The workflow performance consists of the performance of activities and transitions between activities. Along with the fast development of varied computing devices, activities in workflows and transitions between activities could be performed in pervasive ways, which causes that the workflow performance need to migrate from traditional computing environments to pervasive environments. To perform workflows in pervasive environments needs to take account of the context information which affects both the performance way of activities and the transition control between activities. Accordingly, a framework is described in this paper based on definitions of activity-context and transition-context to performing workflows in pervasive environments. After that, a context specifying method, in which activity-context and transition-context could be represented through simple or composite context, is provided to append necessary context on workflow definitions. Furthermore, corresponding performance principles are proposed, including capturing relevant actual context value according to given specifications, mapping captured context information with corresponding specifications based on presented context mapping algorithm, and making appropriate response according to predefined reaction rules relevant to matched context specifications. Moreover, we also illustrate our work through a case study about the instant meeting on call.

The purpose of this this research is to suggest comprehensive pricing schemata that software developers can use in the integrated state of software uses. To do so, we have reviewed the pricing criteria that the current fields of business administration treat and offered the basis of pricing systems. Then we have applied the prices of software products in Korea to the systems and earned abundant price payment units. As for the research works of software pricing at the present, however, it seems that they are mainly focused on the uses and functions of some specific software rather than on general variables that affect the software pricing policies of PC and Client/Server environment. There have been many researches on individual consumption features such as on the case of upgrade, on the case of outsourcing like ASP, on the case of pricing package items, or on the case of ERP software.[1-5] In other words, there have been few researches on the schemata of pricing that software developers can use. This paper aims to suggest a comprehensive pricing schemata that software developers, sellers, and distributers can use regardless of the state of software uses. To do so, first, it reviews the criteria of pricing that are frequently discussed in the current fields of economics and management and thereby establishes the basis that leads to a pricing schemata. Then the prices of software in Korea will be applied to the schemata, which will eventually make it possible to produce the complete pricing schemata unique in Korea.
