Logistics Management System Design Based on GIS

In order to solve such problems as large workload and poor safe reliability of manual piecework during short-distance logistics transportation, GIS information acquisition technology, wireless communication data transmission technology and two-dimension code technology are adopted to design STM32 based Logistics Management & distribution data teletransmission management system in order to acquire real-time cargo data during the logistics distribution process; meanwhile, these data are transmitted to Logistics Management System through GPRS wireless network, thus to realize the centralized management of real-time cargo transportation information.

Traditionally computational scientists have used supercomputers to solve their scientific problems using multi-processors and large-scale shared memory, and scientific communities have also used Grid computing for scientific projects using large-scale computation and data resources. Recently Cloud computing is a emerging infrastructure to be considered for scientific applications and several institutes applied this to their projects. But there is no sure method for computational scientists to select a environment to fit their researches though diverse researches using these infrastructures are conducted in a variety of science domains. In this paper we describe three infrastructures for scientific researches through literature reviews, and we deliberate on what factors are considered to select one infrastructure to solve scientific problems from a scientists’ point of view. And then, analytic hierarchy process is introduced as an approach for choosing a proper infrastructure, and we propose a model to choose a appropriate infrastructure reflected by various aspects of computational science’s properties via this approach. Thus this paper offers a novel viewpoint to scientists when they choose a high performance computing environment for their researches.

The rapid development of E-commerce has prompted increasing demand for express services. Improving service quality from the customers perception has become an important way for the private express enterprises to face the fierce market competition. This paper summarizes the customers perception service quality theory and the express enterprises’ service quality evaluation methods, and establishes an index system of private express enterprises’ service quality evaluation from the perspective of the customers perception. The SPSS software is used to detect the feasibility of the established evaluation index system. The information entropy theory is applied to calculate the index weight value, and the evaluation model of private express enterprises’ service quality is established by combining the entropy weight with the unascertained measure method. Finally, this paper carries out the empirical analysis based on the JY express enterprise’s service quality,and puts forward the relevant countermeasures and suggestions. The purpose of the paper is to provide a new scientific method for the service quality evaluation of the private express enterprises.
Constructing the Core User Set for Collaborative Recommendation Based on Samples Selection Idea

As an effective recommendation technology to solve "information overload" problem, collaborative filtering has widly attracted attention of scholars from various fields. First, this paper proposes a method for measuring the recommending ability of user based on popularity and long-tailed distribution. Then, a global core user set is constructed for recommadition based on the recommending ability and samples selection idea in data mining, aimming to take advantage of users in the different part of the long tail distribution and reduce computing complexity of the algorithm without lowing the recommended performance. Experimental results show that the algorithm is effective and can be used to solve the real-time problem and cold start recommendation.

Aiming at the features of Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) which can be charged through the network, the moving process of starting the engine was analyzed; the vehicle energy management strategy was formulated by combing of pure electric control strategy and economic model control strategy. Using genetic algorithm to optimize the upper and lower fluctuation limit values of state of charge (SOC) in charge sustain (CS) mode and engine optimal curve. The Simulation evaluation of PHEV energy consumption economy was conducted. The results indicate that control strategy keep the engine operation points within the peak efficiency region and reduce the energy consumption economy by 28.4%, 35.8%, 26.6 under New European Driving Cycle(NEDC), Urban Dynamometer Driving Schedule (UDDS) and Highway Fuel Economy Test (HWFET) cycle conditions, compared with prototype vehicle.
Drought Identification, Monitoring and Forcasting for Selangor River Basin

The severe 2014 drought recorded in the Selangor river basin has affected the everyday life of three million people inhabited in the northern area of Selangor and the neighboring federal capital of Malaysia, the city of Kuala Lumpur, where 70% of the source of water supply comes from Selangor dam in the upper reach of Selangor basin. Of particular importance is the water rationing imposed by the water authority in April 2014 lasting for one month and the shortage of food supply in the dry period as a result of reduction in food supply from the Selangor area. As such, drought monitoring, identification and forecasting play an important role in the planning and management of natural resources and water resource systems in the country. The purpose of this paper is to use established scientific methods and available hydrological data to identify, monitor, and forecast droughts for the planning, management and formulating drought strategies to reduce and mitigate the adverse effect of drought impacts. Standardized precipitation index (SPI) has been used as a conventional tool to identify and monitor drought occurrences. To achieve the aims, we use average long term monthly rainfall data for eight stations covering both the dry and wet seasons from Selangor river basin to derive the SPI values for durations of 3 to 9 months. These drought indicators, which are time series derived from rainfall data together with the multi-layer artificial neural networks model were used for drought forecasting for the basin. Forecasting were made for SPI with a one month ahead lead time as forecasting accuracy is reduced for longer lead times. This has been shown by studies carried out elsewhere. Our finding indicates that more accurate predictions are achieved using SPI of longer durations, i.e. 6 and 9 months. This is consistent with findings of studies by others.

Wood drying is one of the most important processes in wood production and processing. The purpose of the study is to improve the level of automation of small and medium-sized wood drying enterprises and to improve the drying efficiency and quality. Using Visual Basic6.0, this article completes the development of host computer monitor software, which not only monitors on-site equipments, but also integrates the knowledge base of local wood drying experts and remote expert server. Furthermore, micro-processor is embedded into the slave computer which is of low energy consumption, fast operation and high reliability as its main controller. This system has been applied in Harbin timber factory, and the results show that the system is reliable, low cost, and has certain commonality. Therefore, the results of this study show that this method can serve as a reference and promote the upgrading and transformation of the automation level of wood drying enterprises.
Implementation of DSTFCs in MIMO MB-IR-UWB System

This paper implements differential space-time-frequency codes (DSTFCS) to multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO), multi-band impulse radio ultra-wideband (MB-IR-UWB) system. Four scenarios of the system operating mode have been put forward and combination of DSTFCs and the system has been studied in this paper. Through simulation, a comparison of BER performance among different scenarios and channel statements is analyzed. In addition, considered inter-symbol interference (ISI), the simulation on system with ISI and without ISI is given. Finally the conclusion that scenario 3 is more suitable to the proposed MIMO MB-IR-UWB system for it being less sensitive to ISI has been drawn.

With the prosperity of e-commerce and the sharper increasing orders, the requirements of the racks’ height in automatic warehouse and the weight that it can bear is higher and higher. The Dense Channels Accessing-Sorting System (Shorted as: DCASS) is a new kind of the logistic system that can be used well in the e-commerce logistic centers. For the potential hazard of racks in DCASS will be very fatal to the logistics enterprises, it is an urgent task to monitor the instantaneous deformation of racks. This essay gives an empirical research with Digital Close-Range Photogrammetric (Shorted as:DCRP) method to this problem. In the experiment, we take photos with digital cameras, and use digital analytical method to process the data that collected with computers. For the processed data has reduced the influence of outside condition and the instability of internal-external azimuth from digital cameras effectively, we get the result with precision up to 2.3%.

Information science is related to data-intensive, man-machine communication and interactional information application system with main aim to provide for both tourism enterprises and tourism consumers with high quality service. At present, there are two modes of information science roles which is popular used in tourism enterprises: one is mainly used in the international network marketing for their products (service) based on the information websites, the other is linked to the tourism cooperation organization with the demand of tourism products(service) in their special mode. Information science applied to regional tourism cooperation development always plays a more and more important role in the growth of tourism economy and development of tourism industry. In addition, the mature application of information science can effectively reduce the loss of benefits related to regional tourism industry development, but also bring about the asymmetry of the game rulers for the main economic interests of regional tourism cooperation. The findings are the application of information science for regional tourism industry can reduce the cost of the exchange between cooperative organizations and tourism economy growth, and the information science application also improves their own values of the main participants among the regional tourism cooperation performance.

This paper examines that the relationship between Samsung and its relationship in regards to Samsung Pay. As Samsung Pay was introduced to Korea to analyze how the firm value of those allied companies fluctuates. Applying an event study with the OLS market model, Device Vendors have a negative effect on the release day while Software Vendors have relational positive effects simultaneously. In detail, the former have the negative effect because of vertical integration (technical alliance) whereas the latter brings about a positive effect due to horizontal relationship (marketing alliance) and substitute effect relevant to the free fee.

Similarity measures of fuzzy numbers have been widely applied in various areas. In the last decade, many similarity measures of generalized fuzzy numbers were proposed. However, there are two main limitations in existing similarity measures: 1) they cannot correctly calculate the degree of similarity between two generalized trapezoidal fuzzy numbers in some cases; and 2) the definitions of recently developed similarity measures are complicated and difficult to interpret. In this paper, a novel approach to similarity measurement between generalized trapezoidal fuzzy numbers is proposed. The proposed similarity measure has a simple definition and is easier to understand intuitively. Furthermore, we analyze its properties and compare it with existing similarity measures. The results show that the proposed measure outperforms existing similarity measures. Finally, we apply the proposed similarity measure to develop a fuzzy-logic-based approach for new product go/nogo decision-making at the front end. The proposed fuzzy software quality evaluation method is more flexible and more intelligent than existing methods due to the fact that it considers the degrees of confidence of evaluators’ opinions.

This study examines whether the second largest shareholders are related to the earnings management of Mutual Savings Banks in Korea from 2003 to 2012. A negative relationship is found between the second largest shareholders and the discretionary portion of the allowance provisions.In general, most of the Mutual Savings Banks in Korea have a single largest blockholder, so the possibility of earnings management for the largest shareholder’s private interest is higher than other financial institutions. However, if the firms have multiple blockholders, the second largest shareholder can exercise their control over banks. Then the shareholders can eliminate or supervise the earnings management for the largest shareholder’s private interest. In this regard, the paper verifies whether Mutual Savings Banks (MSB), with higher equity from the second largest shareholder can reduce the earnings of management by discretionary allowance for loan losses. We find that banks from the second largest shareholder with higher equity, has significant negative relations with the Discretionary portion of Allowance for Loan Losses (DALL). This result suggests that the greater the second largest shareholder’s equity, the less likely the opportunistic earnings management. This paper extends the literature on financial institutions’ earnings management to verify whether governance systems, especially ownership structure and earnings management, have significant relations.

Cold chain distribution is always well-known as the “Mount Everest” in international logistics industry, while the rapid development in recent years of domestic meat, frozen food, cold drinks industry and dairy industry brought a leapfrog growth of cold chain logistics, which respectively stimulated the need for logistics outsourcing service from Third Party Logistics. Those companies demanding for exploiting cold chain business on one hand requires a complete set of refrigerated logistics chains, on the other hand also requires enterprises to establish a good and professional transport system with refrigerated operation equipment, which are precisely the weakness of manufacturing enterprises. Thus, outsourcing of cold chain logistics to a third party is the best choice for companies to focus on its core business. By analyzing the bulletins of International Cold Chain Logistics Summits, this paper shows the problems of cold chain industry in China and points out the potentials for its future development. It further analyzes the feasibility of launching cold chain business of Deppon Logistics. The purpose is to offer some suggestions to work out the barriers and set up a modern operation system under the big data age in Deppon.
An Improved Collaborative Filtering Recommendation Algorithm

An improved CF algorithm based on the classification of items is introduced to overcome the problems caused by the data sparseness and inaccuracy of the user neighbors. The new algorithm first rates the unrated items by applying the item classification, and then calculates the user similarity within classes for nearest-neighbors, after which it could recommend the items based on the final prediction.
A Design and Simulation of 3D Fishing-Net Considering Tidal-Current and Buoyancy

A physically based simulator for a cloth or patch has often utilized a mass-spring model. This mass-spring model generally employs the gravity force. To make a simulation model of fishing-net, we have to consider the tidal-current and buoyancy in underwater environments. This additional factors lead to get a lower calculation speed for a real-time simulation. In this paper, we will propose a new mass-spring model for a fishing-net and also a method to simplify the equations for the real-time simulation of a fishing-net model. Our 3D mass-spring model will show the mesh-structure similar with the other mass-spring model except that each intersection point can have independently a different mass. The motion of each mass will be calculated with adding dynamics. To reduce the calculation time, we will try to simplify the mathematical equations which consider the tidal-current and buoyancy. Through this research, we can get the real-time and realistic simulation for the fishing-net.

Information technology has been widely used in airport economic zone in the daily management of the enterprise and government. The use of it to build quality and technical supervision information platform can realize the quality and technical supervision of law enforcement electronic and informatization, achieve supervise management informatization, decision support intelligent, business process standardization and information exchange release automation. At first, this paper analyzes the business requirements and functional requirements of quality and technical supervision information platform, and then discuss the overall structure and network topology structure of the information platform, analyses the design and construction of the information platform, and finally discusses the main application system of the information platform. Platform application helps to enhance the institutionalization and standardization of quality and technical supervision, standardize the market economic order, improve product quality, engineering quality and service quality and enhance the international competitiveness of economic zone industry, enterprises and products.

Recently, issues of energy shortage and environment pollution of mankind society become more and more serious. Production of electric vehicles provides a new idea for mankind to solve this kind of issues. However, large-scale electric vehicles put into operation and connected to the grid is a major challenge to the security and stability of power grid. This paper references the job scheduling algorithm in computer operator system and presents a multi-level feeder queue optimization charging model with comprehensive consideration of the grid-side power load and charging fairness. According to this model we charge for the electric vehicles in regional grid, on the basis of ensuring fairness, realizing optimized charging, to ensure grid security and stability and improve the resource utilization rate. The implementation of multi-level feeder queue optimization charging model of electric vehicles in regional grid requires the fusion of power grid, cars networking, charging station networking and other information. With the development of the industry, the integration of multiple information sources will produce massive heterogeneous data, showed a trend of big data, and its storage and calculating will become a bottleneck. Hadoop open source cloud computing platform can set computing cluster to implement such a big data parallel processing. In this paper, I implement the model in the cloud computing platform through designing the model’s HBase distributed data storage and M-R parallel computing mode.
Why Does Bundled Product in Telecommunication Service Market Matter? : Evidence from South Korea

Due to network effects and market power with bundled product of telecommunication service market, service providers have to differentiate their product group in the competitive market. We explore that installed base(i.e., customer network), and a relationship between single and bundled products do affect corporate performance as well as a dominant transition of bundling market. We empirically describe these issues with data of which each net growth of single and multiple products(=bundled) was gathered by real industry of South Korea where there is overheated competition on their oligopoly market. We found strong evidences that through network effects, not only installed base was significantly associated with corporate finance such as total sales, total assets, and EBITDA, but also the difference between product types and size of installed base in single and multiple products was significant in a competitive market. As a result, our evidence provides an important explanation with operating firms currently. Furthermore, it was clear that using resource-based and market power view specifically vindicated the influences as we hypothesized.

Human sport action reconstruction is the current hot issue of image processing, against the feature of the problem, a new human action reconstruction method base on the combination of LLE and KRR is proposed. First, extract the human action framework against the color and deep information of the image and establish action training set and then transfer the training set into the motion vector library, calculate the low dimensional manifold using LLE algorithm and conduct correlation analysis to the manifold data, and finally make the predicted low dimensional manifold convergence action point mapped irreversibly to the low dimensional Euclidean space. This is the first application of KRR algorithm to solve traditional dimensionality reduction mapping irreversibility, so as to make the action reconstruction realized. The results show that: the construction action obtained by the convection action point is ideal, as the action process of the different degrees of freedom; the proposed human sport action construction has very good results.

In this paper, we analyzed the distribution of the roots of the associated characteristic equation for the Gause type predator-prey model. The point of bifurcation and a group of conditions of existence of Hopf-Fold bifurcation were obtained at the coexisting equilibrium. There are complex dynamic phenomenons such as periodic motion, quasi--periodic motion and bursting behavior by the numerical simulations.

Attraction to foreign investment in Mongolia’s economy has become a key factor in Mongolia’s development. Mongolia has a small population, especially in comparison to some other “tiger” economies. There is a large population emerging into a wealthier class, which is expected to increase consumption. Mongolia is geographically the 19th largest country in the world and has many natural resources. This paper diagnoses the Mongolian mining sector and identifies its problems, constraints, growth, and increased contributions to the national economy. The paper also addresses FDI trends in the mining sector in Mongolia in comparison to FDI in mining in developing countries and their processes, advantages, and government policies.
Infrared Image Edge Detection Based on Morphology-Canny Fusion Algorithm

Effectively extracting the contour edge of the defect in the infrared image can realize the recognition of the geometrical features of the defect. In view of the traditional Canny edge detection algorithm in the Gauss filter variance and high and low threshold selection need artificial intervention, does not have the adaptive ability, and its defects in the gradient calculation, proposed a method based on the improved Canny operator and image morphological fusion edge detection method. Using the improved Canny operator and image morphology to edge detection, the simulation results show that the algorithm has good anti noise ability, effectively improve the accuracy and integrity of the edge detection in the infrared image, and achieve a better extraction of geometric features of the edge of the defect.

The purpose of this study is to take a look at various youth employment policies operated by each government agency based on the fundamental causes and issues of serious unemployment among youth, and to propose a plan to facilitate employment accordingly. Therefore, the employment facilitation plan to expand the employment for youth may largely be classified into six categories. First, through tailored education that reflects corporate demands, aggressive improvement in the government system is required. Second, there is a need for general overhaul to enhance the qualitative level of participating companies in the SME youth internship, publicity of the project system and field instruction and management strengthening for participating workers. Third, there is a need to structure the government-level system to provide information from career support for youth to gaining employment in a one-stop service. Fourth, there is a need to check the categories as a general core project to simplify the youth occupation project and the sense of effectiveness of youth employment policies for the youth generation. Fifth, there is an urgent demand for facilitation of a win-win employment situation and voluntary participation of business enterprises in the expansion of youth employment. Sixth, there is a need to close the gap and improve the work environment in small and medium enterprises. Notwithstanding the fact that unemployment in youth has emerged as a major social issue, there is a clear phenomenon suggesting that the youth generation still does not take advantage of employment opportunities in SMEs.

It is defined that the 21st century is the era of information and technology. The 21st century is changing to a period of culture and art. The most representative and emerging elements of cultural marketing are cultural promotion, cultural synthesis and cultural style. This study not only analyzes empirical effects of cultural marketing on art marketing but also reveals how art marketing has an influence on recommendation. In addition, we analyzed empirical effects of cultural marketing and art marketing on recommendation depending on premium price, showing the strategies that enlarge the company identity based on cultural context. Two preliminary researches have been conducted through 25 marketing professors and graduate course students in order to choose products, brand name and artworks, which would match with the purpose of this study. The conclusion of this study shows that the cultural marketing has partial effects on the art marketing. It also has partial effects on art marketing depending on the premium price. Finally, the premium price has positive moderate effects on recommendation of art marketing.
An Investigation on Selection Mechanisms for Mobile Camera-based Cursor Manipulation

To avoid the occlusion problem and the fat finger problem while manipulating mobile touch devices, researchers in HCI community have explored the area of mobile camera-based interaction which utilizes camera input instead of touch input. For mobile camera-based cursor manipulation, selection mechanisms may have an effect on users' pointing performance, and therefore worthy of study. In this research, we conducted a user study to explore how selection mechanisms influenced users' performance in mobile camera-based cursor manipulation and users' preferences. The quantitative results indicate that the users' performances of using two selection mechanisms (the button-based selection and tapping-based selection) are similar to each other from a statistical point of view. However, subjective feedback from the participants shows that the tapping-based selection is believed to be more comfortable and easy to use.

There is a growing appreciation, amongst academics as well as policy makers, of the critical role small- and medium-sized enterprises play in the economy. But, it is reported that there is a positive relationship between firm size and the frequency of assessing certain information sources such as sector legislation, annual reports, and external consulting. The difference of information acquisition capability between SMEs and large firms is partially attributable to SMEs’ limited resources such as financial constraints, and lack of employees available for gathering information and analyzing them. To break the vicious circle, policymakers for SMEs are encouraged to develop appropriate schemes to enable SMEs to use external consulting or make useful information for SMEs more available in the public domain.
