Mobile Manufacturer or Service provider? An Empirical Study on Consumers’ Adoption Intention

As mobile manufacturers today seek to attract consumers by increasingly integrating mobile services into their products, little research is available regarding whether and to what degree this new feature of mobile phone would motivate consumers’ purchase intention. Concerning m-learning, this study investigates the relationship among users’ intentions to adopt mobile service, service-enabled-phone as well as intention to pay for the new phone functionality. Based on 209 useful responses, this study suggests that users’ intention to adopt m-learning would impact their intention to acquire facilitating conditions (specific mlearning enabled mobile phones). Theoretical and practical implications are discussed in the present paper as well.

The strategic and contemporary importance of e-governance has been recognized across the world. In India too, various ministries of Govt. of India and State Governments have taken e-governance initiatives to provide e-services to citizens and the business they serve. To achieve the mission objectives, and make such e-governance initiatives successful it would be necessary to improve the trust and confidence of the stakeholders. It is assumed that the delivery of government services will share the same public network information that is being used in the community at large. In particular, the Internet will be the principal means by which public access to government and government services will be achieved. To provide the security measures main aim is to identify all possible threats and vulnerabilities according to the data locations and then according to the models of Nath’ approach. Based on this analysis, the security requirements of the data and the applications have been formulated in the form of security parameters like confidentiality, integrity and availability. This analysis leads to the security architecture of the specific G2C application.

Although the price elasticities for off-line industry are well documented in academic field, the report of price elasticities for on-line to a given brand or industry in practice have been relatively rare. The researcher aims to try to full this gap by applying a price response function to Home Trading System’ on-line transaction data for the first time in Korean securities market. The different price elasticities among seven brands were found from -0.819 to -1.811. These results suggested that marketers should understand the price elasticity of their own HTS, before making a price decision.

E-learning materials development is typically acknowledged as an expensive, complicated, and lengthy process, often producing materials that are of low quality and difficult to adapt and maintain. It has always been a challenge to identify proper e-learning materials that can be reused at a reasonable cost and effort. In this paper, software engineering reuse principles are applied to e-learning materials development process. These principles are then applied and implemented in a prototype that is integrated with an open-source course management systems. The reuse of existing e-learning materials is beneficial in improving developers of elearning materials productivity. E-learning material reuse is performed, in this research, based on construct’ granularity rather than on unified constructs of one size.

A Hierarchical Interface Design of a Puzzle Game for Elementary Education

A basic instinct of humans for perfect completion usually drives us happy. Basically, humans purchase a certain complete match for scattered facts. The satisfaction of completing the scattered pieces gives us great pleasure. Thus many people put in their time and effort in the puzzle, and they gain strong satisfaction. The paper solves the importance of the general effects of a puzzle in building the edu-game design. Legacy online education has following problems. First, educational effects became weaker than original text education since the physical guide for the study is absent. Second, students can lose interests in study since there are no interactions or dynamics like the real education atmosphere. An on-line game is growing up very fast through characters of the interactive computing and internet environment. In addition, an edu-game combining the advantages of the game and the education increase gradually. The paper proposes an edu-game system for providing knowledge through the hierarchical structure. The system differs from existing ones that combine a game and an on-line education. There are three different goals as follows. First, the paper proposes three levels of knowledge hierarchies. The method enables users to understand more easy and systematic and interesting education. Second, the graphic interface of a puzzle type is able to contact more conveniently and it provides beauties and functionalities. Third, among them, specifically the knowledge hierarchy is not forced to users and the method also can study in detail and users can enjoy systematically e-education by using the general type of a puzzle game.

This paper aims to suggest a Management Model of a storage system in distributed computing environment. Based on the Common Information Model and Web Based Enterprise Management, the SMI-S is a standard to manage a storage system. This specificction defines an interface for the management of a Storage Area Network that is a heterogeneous environment of management applications, storage devices and storage system from different venders. It consist of a Profile, Subprofile and Package. A Profile defines the base set of information and capabilities that allow a Client to manage a particular storage resource. A Subprofile represents additional functionality. Analyzing of the Profile, Subprofile and the Package, it is goal to find the method that we need to manage a storage system in this paper.
