본 연구는 학생과 교사가 근현대 지역사를 구술로 탐구하는 프로젝트 활동 사례를 분석하였다. 지역사에 대한 관심이 증가하는 상황에서 구술사로 지역사를 탐구한 사 례가 역사교육에 주는 교육적 시사점이 있을 것이라고 보았다. 연구 자료는 활동에 참여한 51팀의 탐구 주제와 7팀의 수업 에세이를 분석하였다. 분석 방법으로 탐구 주제의 경우, 정책 키워드를 중심으로 분석하였으며, 수업 에세이 의 경우, 질적 분석을 시도하였다. 분석 결과 ‘생생한 역사’를 배울 수 있는 강점이 있다는 점, 학습자가 ‘스스로’ 배울 내용을 선정하면서 주체적으로 배울 수 있었던 점 등 교육 효과가 있음이 도출되었다. 또 선정된 주제의 경우, 국가사로 치환되지 않는 지역 이해 기반 교육과정이 필요한 점, 학교사나 사회 현안 등에 대해 역사 소재로 다루어질 수 있음을 밝혔다. 본 연구는 구술사 프로젝트의 개별 사례를 심층적으로 다루지 못하였다. 전체 프로 젝트 사례의 일반적 경향을 보고자 하면서 개별 사례의 실증적 자료 분석을 진행하지 못한 한계가 있다. 향후 구술사 교육 활동의 사례에 관한 실증 연구가 보완되어 역사 교육에서 구술사가 활용될 수 있는 활로가 개척되길 바란다.

This study analyzed examples of project activities in which students and teachers explore modern and contemporary local history verbally. In the face of growing interest in local history, the case of exploring local history with oral history may have educational implications for history education. In addition, the growing need for community learning in the age of educational autonomy requires new approaches and attempts from a policy perspective, and implications for democratic governance in the development of local curricula. The research data analyzed the topics of 51 teams that participated in the activity, and the essays submitted by seven of them. The analysis revealed that there are two educational effects: that there were strengths to learning “living history” and that learners were able to learn on their own when selecting what to learn “by themselves.” It also indicated that in the case of selected topics, there exist a necessity of a regional understanding-based curriculum that is not replaced by national history, and a possibility of pending school history and social issues being dealt with as historical subjects. This study did not cover in-depth analysis of individual cases of oral history projects. There is a limit of failure to conduct empirical data analysis on individual cases in order to see the general trend of the whole project case. We hope that empirical studies on the cases of oral history education activities will be supplemented in the future, paving the way for oral history to be used in history education.

본 연구는 한국 사격의 역사에서 1986년 서울아시안게임 때 아시안게임 참가 사 상 최다메달 획득과 1988년 서울올림픽 때 올림픽 참가 사격종목 첫 메달획득의 이 유를 당시 사격국가대표 감독이었던 배병기의 경험과 기억을 중심으로 살펴본 결과 배병기를 통해 다음과 같은 변화가 있었다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 첫째, 훈련시스 템의 체계화를 도입하였다. 둘째, 최신 사격 장비를 도입하였다. 셋째, 해외 전지훈련, 4대 특수훈련 등 새로운 훈련을 도입하였다. 넷째, 총기관리를 위해 ‘건스미스 (GUNSMITH)’를 도입하였다. 다섯째, ‘사격총서’ 발간으로 사격의 이론적 틀 정립에 참여하였다. 이를 통해 배병기의 경험과 기억은 한국 사격의 역사에서 세계적 수준으 로 도약하는 순간을 이해하는 매개체이자 증인으로서 의의가 있다.

This study focused on the experience and memory of Bae Byung-ki, then the national shooting team coach, to figure out the reasons for winning the most medals in the history of shooting in the 1986 Seoul Asian Games and the first medal in the 1988 Seoul Olympics. First was the introduction the systemized training. Second was the introduction of the latest firing equipment. Third was the introduction of new training programs such as overseas field training and four major special training exercises. Fourth is the introduction of ‘GUNSMITH' for total management. Fifth was participation in establishing the theoretical framework of shooting with the publication of the 'Shooting Gun Book series’. Based on all of these, Bae’s experience and memory can serve as a historical medium and evidence to understand Korea’s rise to world-class level in the history of shooting.

이 연구는 냉전과 탈냉전이 한반도 이남에 거주했던 화교들의 삶에 어떤 영향을 끼쳤는지를 분석하는 것을 목표로 한다. 남북한 정권의 수립, 중화인민공화국의 수립, 한국전쟁의 과정에서 재한화교들은 중화민국과 긴밀한 관계를 맺었고, 생존 전략의 차원에서 반공주의적 주체로 거듭났다. 반공주의적 주체로서의 화교는 한국과 대만 사이의 반공동맹을 강화하는 상징적 존재였으나, 한국사회는 화교를 법적․문화적․일상 적 차원에서 차별해왔다. 화교에 대한 차별이라는 ‘구조적 부정의’ 속에서 일부 화교 들은 이주를 선택하기도 했지만, 남은 화교들은 분노․체념․무기력 등의 감정을 느꼈다. 1980년대 이후 한국과 중공의 관계가 가까워지면서 한국-대만 반공동맹에는 균열이 발생했고, 재한화교들은 한국의 ‘배신’에 대해 강하게 반발했다. 한중수교 이후 재한 화교들의 경계인 정체성은 대만-중국-한국 어느 특정 국가로 수렴되지 않는 혼종적 특징이 강화되었다. 한국사회는 화교 차별의 해소를 위해 ‘동화주의’를 강화할 것이 아니라, 화교의 경계인 정체성을 존중하고 그 차이를 긍정하는 ‘차이의 정치로서의 민 주주의’를 지향해야 할 것이다.

This study aims to analyze how the Cold War and the post-Cold War affected the lives of Chinese residents on the southern half of the Korean Peninsula. In the course of the establishment of the South and North Korean regime, the establishment of the People's Republic of China(PRC), and the Korean War, Chinese in Korea formed close relations with the Republic of China and were reborn as anti-communist subjects as a survival strategy. As anti-communist subjects, Chinese in Korea have been symbols of strengthening anti-communism alliance between Korea and Taiwan. Nevertheless, Korean society has discriminated against Chinese on legal, cultural, and daily life dimensions. In the “structural injustice” of discrimination against Chinese in Korea, some Chinese people chose to migrate, but the remaining Chinese felt anger, resignation, and powerlessness. Since the 1980s, as the relationship between ROK and PRC drew closer, a crack broke out in the Korea-Taiwan anti-communist alliance, and Chinese in Korea strongly opposed the “betrayal” of Korea. After the diplomatic relations between ROK and PRC, the ‘marginal people’ identity has increased in its hybrid characteristic that does not converge to either Taiwan, China, or Korea. Korean society should not strengthen ‘assimilationism’ to eliminate the discrimination against Chinese, but instead should pursue ‘democracy as a politics of difference’ in respecting the ‘marginal people’ identity and accepting the difference.
