In this study, the mental, physical and psychological stress to the recipient of aromatherapy massage and suction investigated whether the effect of stress on. So far, all studies have shown that the effect was to relieve stress. Lavender has been used, particularly the most. Because aromatherapist thinks the chemical composition of lavender has soothing effects. The ordinary people feel difficulty to do aromatherapy. At that time, according to conventional mixing ratio is preferred. Reflection the individual’s preferences may also recombinant aroma oils. people can help for decrease own stress by recombining of aromatherapy oil for yourself. Ordinary person have to be careful when you have a aromatherapy massage time. Aroma oils are mixed with a base oil must be diluted no irritation. Specific disease, pregnant women need the help of an expert. Hormones can have endocrine disturbances. The scientific research about Aromatherapy should be continued because it is useful for solve anger, depression, anxiety and other emotional disorders.

In this study, in order to study the effects of the prevalence of acne and acne quality of life in adolescence we will attempt to analyze them. Data collection and methods were based on the survey conducted to 400 "ㅇ" male and female students in high school in Gyeonggi Province after advising assistant principals the purpose of the study and method of the survey and it was conducted in a direct survey by teachers in charge to study general characteristics of acne, the prevalence of awareness, and focus on quality of life that was investigated. The study period was from 2011 September 5 to September 9 and the surveyed data SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) WIN 15.0 program was used to analyze. Analysis techniques include the frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation χ2 (Chi-square) test and t-test (validation), One-way ANOVA (ANOVA), and frequency analysis was carried out , depending on whether the current acne does not have the quality of life survey students than students in the acne caused by acne quality of life was statistically significant (p<.001). In conclusion, the appropriate management of adolescent acne is required and it is necessary to have careful attention and efforts to minimize the impact caused by acne that can cause problems in the quality of life.

The purpose of this study is to identify the purchase behaviors and conditions of use in cosmetics for body by targeting on adult females between their 20’s-30’s who are currently residing in Seoul and Daejeon areas. Accordingly, 220 copies of survey questionnaires were distributed among the periods of June 11, 2013 to July 14, 2013 and 200 copies of questionnaires have applied for this study. The composition of the questionnaire consisted of questions about general characteristics and the awareness of cosmetics for the body and skin types, purchase behaviors of cosmetics for the body, and preference of cosmetics for body. In terms of the body skin type, the highest number is displayed as ‘dry skin’ with 34% and the highest number of participants have concerned with ‘dryness.’ The average score of satisfaction on their own skin condition resulted in 3.36 and this displays how participants are generally satisfied about their skin conditions. However, amongst the reasons presented by those who have not satisfied, ‘scars which remain as a form of skin troubles’ is resulted as the highest. When participants have asked about types of body products that they were aware of, they have presented in the order of body wash> body lotion > body oil. ‘Body wash’ is presented with the highest number of use amongst applied body cosmetic. In case of analysis about purchase behavior, participants encountered information about body cosmetic through the internet and it identifies that a large number of participants held preference for the ‘internet’ as the site for purchase. In terms of the condition considered as important during product purchase, ‘scent’ is displayed with the highest number. It is considered that follow-up studies should be conducted so that cosmetics for body targeted on wider age range and both gender instead of just adult females in their age of 20’s-30’s can develope in a more customized and extensive manner according to personal tendencies and preferences.

In this study, adolescents attending high school, looks according to the interest in buying cosmetics use and type by type, purchase analysis to characterize the study was as follows: The higher the age of Adolescents in high school than middle school students showed a higher interest in appearance, rather than female high school male and female interest in the appearance of higher engineering high school. The appearance of Adolescents interest in the use of functional cosmetic appearance is, the higher the interest were higher, particularly in the use of whitening products appeared prominently. Satisfaction with the appearance of Adolescents interest in buying properties in accordance with the professional cosmetics purchase propensity and high brand preference, purchase department stores and specialty stores were higher by buying direct involvement own to find high. Cosmetic use of young people that age is gradually lowered, and in particular the use of hue makeup and beauty in general, even though the trend is not performed on a regular program. Adolescents, beauty education is no longer a valid target and should not ignore the findings suggest that social problems. In this study of adolescents in order to cultivate a healthy skin care beauty training needs for informing efforts to encourage social, is expected based on the data.

Skin lipids play a role as barrier function to control moisture loss to prevent dry skin and protect from external harmful substances or bacteria in order for providing sterilization. However, when there is excessive secretion of sebum due to abnormal action of hormones, it will cause black heads and expansion of the pores so that waste will be accumulated. Nose pack is an easy way to clean pores around nose with sebaceous glands, but due to characteristics of the fabric, the existing products can cause irritation and corneous. Thus, this study is to develop cosmetics for sebum removal and pore improvement that can improve limitations of the existing products. The ingredients for the formulations include Diospyros kaki (D. kaki), Castanea crenata (C. crenata), and Polygonum cuspidatum (P. cuspidatum) and to verify the safety and human efficacy evaluation. Based on the guidelines stated on ministry of food and drug safety, bacteria microbial limit test for 5 kinds of microorganisms, and human patch test with 31 men and women who do not have any skin diseases and skin hypersensitivity were executed. Also, with 23 men and women who have oily skin, human efficacy evaluation was performed. For control group, changes in the amount of sebum, moisture, dead skin condition, blackhead, skin roughness between before and after the test were compared. As a result of safety assessment, for microbial limit test, there was no aerobic bacteria, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aerusinosa, Escherichia coli, yeast and fungi, and for human patch test, there was no skin reactions such as redness, blisters or allergic. For changes in the amount of sebum and black head from human efficacy evaluation, there were temporary improvement for the experimental group. For the amount of moisture, dead skin, and skin roughness, the experimental group showed improvement. This is expected to be used not only in deep cleanser, but also in lotion, emulsion, soap and foam cleanser and have the same effects. And for additional research on the treatment of acne and topical pharmaceutical formula, it can be utilized. And when being complemented with body application test for long-term usage, they can be used as natural ingredients when cosmetic manufacturers or sellers are developing new products, and also can be supplied as informative material to induce scientific and objective ads and displays properly.

This study attempted to analyze the image differences among preferred hairstyles and the factors influencing the preference for a bang design hairstyle. In this study, the following results were obtained: This study showed that with regard to preferred hairstyles by age, those in their 20s wanted attractive and charming hairstyles while those in their 30s preferred more urban and modern hairstyles. In contrast, those in the older age group liked unusual and gentle hairstyles. When classified by gender, women natural, refined, elegant, lively and intelligent styles while men lovely, preferred manly hairstyles. When categorized by educational background, those with graduate school or above loved refined, neat, modern and attractive hairstyles while those with junior college wanted lively and lovely styles. Those with high school or below enjoyed young and active styles. In terms of domain which has an effect on the image of preferred hairstyles and the other domain which can easily change the image, they were expressed in bang hairstyles by gender, educational background, occupation and age. This study also showed that demographic variables were an important factor when determining the preference for a bang hairstyle with the styles with hair on the forehead, sides or back being preferred. Regarding the position of the parting, respondents preferred their hair parted on the left and additionally preferred the length of the hair to be up to eyebrows/middle of the forehead. The study also showed that tiled and horizontal bang styles were popular. When it came to hair color, brown and black were mostly loved. In terms of the image of bang hairstyles, a natural curl was preferred. This study is significant as the results would be useful in creating charming bang styles and can also be used as the basic data for the development of wig designs.
한국 여대생의 흡연습관과 신체상(Body Image) 만족에 대한 상관관계 연구

Cigarette smoking has been associated with significant morbidity affecting all systems of the body including skin. Body weight concerns and negative body image are also related with cigarette smoking, particularly among young females. To evaluate the impact of smoking behavior on body image and skin care behavior in Korean female college students, Korean female college students (n=516, aged 19-29 years) completed a battery of questionnaires regarding satisfaction with appearance, smoking and drinking behavior, subjective dissatisfaction about skin condition and skin care behavior. The satisfaction with appearance was measured with Satisfaction with Appearance (SWAP) scale. Statistical analyses were performed using PASW Statistics, version 18 (SPSS Inc.).A total of 516 female college students completed the questionnaires. Among the students, 56 students (10.9%) were current smokers, 42 students (8.1%) were ex-smokers, and 418 (81.0%) students replied that they never smoked. Students answered that they were most concerned about acne (n=239, 46.3%), pigmentation (n=143, 27.7%), sensitive skin (n=90, 17.4%) and wrinkle (n=32, 6.2%). Only 2.3% female students answered that they were not concerned about their skin at all and were satisfied with their skin condition. Smoking status (p=.027), body mass index (BMI, p=.000) and skin care behavior (p=.007) were significantly associated with appearance satisfaction by simple logistic regression analysis. Results of multiple logistic regression analysis showed that appearance satisfaction was significantly associated with BMI (p=.000, 95% CI: 0.381-0.911) and skin care behaviour (p=.004, 95% CI: 0.624-3.358). Smokers were significantly dissatisfied with their appearance (p=.027) in total SWAP score. BMI was strongly associated with appearance satisfaction (overall appearance, p=.000). Smoking positively correlated to BMI in female college students (p=.009).Current smokers were more concerned about pigmentation (n=19, 34%) than never smoked (n=112, 27%) and ex-smokers (n=12, 29%). Smokers used more make-up products to cover their skin such as foundation (p=.003) and powder (p=.006) and used less protective sunscreen than never smoked (p=.024). We found significant results confirming association among smoking behavior, appearance satisfaction and BMI in female college students. Smoking female college students with higher BMI are more dissatisfied with their appearance and thus used more makeup products to cover their skin and used less protective sunscreen.

The purpose of the investigation is to enhance the satisfaction and acquiring information of the make-up artists using the internet and mass media based on job characteristics. This investigation is analyzed on job position, working place, daily average hours, weekly average days, job characteristics based on career for the make-up artists. The total 212 questions were analyzed by SPSS 21.0 software program. The results were shown that at first, Observe make-up style of entertainers on TV to obtain the information for fashion make-up style and It is easier to communicate with customers if offering the make-up style of entertainers. Second, the job characteristics based on job career, job position, working place, daily average hour, weekly average hour for the make-up artists were slight difference on the satisfaction and acquiring information of the make-up artists. Third, the job characteristics enhancing the satisfaction and acquiring information of the make-up artists were shown that the weekly average hour is less than 5 days, the daily average hour is less than 8 hours, the job career period is 3yrs ~ 6years. Based upon these results, it can provide an active reference for the infrastructure and improving sales for the make up industry.
당유자 미숙과 동결건조 추출물이 멜라닌 생성에 미치는 영향

Although previous studies have identified that both the fruit and leaf of dangyuja (Citrus grandis Osbeck) exhibits anticancer, antioxdant and anti-inflammatory effect, the inhibitory effect of melanogenesis have not been reported. In this study, freeze dried extract of dangyuja was evaluated for their potential to inhibit melanogenesis. Results show that, freeze dried extracts of dangyuja strongly decreased the tyrosinase activity for catalysis of L-dihydroxyphenylalanine (L-DOPA) oxidation in a dose–dependent manner. In addition, we also verified that cytotoxicity and melanin content in mouse B16F10 melanoma cells were assayed after treatment with the freeze dried extracts of dangyuja. The results demonstrate that extracts possessed low cytotoxic activity and that melanin content was reduced. Overall, freeze dried extracts of dangyuja is a safe natural materials that show an effective inhibition of melanogenesis. These results suggest that freeze dried extracts of dangyuja can be considered as an effective skin whitening reagent for application in cosmetics.

The purpose of this study was to examine the expected effects of the introduction of national certificate and of certificate acquisition in the beauty industry in an effort to provide some information on the improvement of the current qualification system and human resources development in this industry. The subjects in this study were 369 people, on whom a survey was conducted to gather data. The collected data were analyzed by the statistical package SPSS 18.0. As a result, four factors were selected as the expected effects of the introduction of national certificate and of certificate acquisition in the beauty industry: career management, usefulness for executive ability, self-development and industrial development. And there were statistical significant differences in the occupational expected effects, namely the factors of career development and industrial development. It’s ascertained that the students who majored in beauty expected a lot from the introduction of national certificate and certificate acquisition, and that they especially had the most expectations for career development and industrial development. The findings of the study suggest that the systematic improvement of the qualification system is required to instill more pride in individual workers and boost their performance in the beauty industry whose success or failure depends on human service, and that the related government agencies should direct their energy into that.
남성의 BMI에 따른 외모만족도와 모발 및 피부관리 관심도 연구

BMI (Body Mass Index) has been associated with body image dissatisfaction in males. In men, body satisfaction is related with psychological adjustment, self-esteem, depression, and interpersonal confidence, especially in the modern society. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of subjective self-ideal discrepancy of body shape on body image and hair and skin care behavior in Korean male university students. Korean male university students (n=112, aged 20-28 years) completed questionnaires regarding body image satisfaction, smoking and drinking behavior, hair and skin care behaviors, and subjective self-ideal body shape. The body image satisfaction was measured with BCS (Body Cathexis Scale). Statistical analyses were performed using PASW Statistics, version 18 (SPSS Inc.). The returned 112 questionnaires were visually examined to ensure that most of the questions had been completed. Incomplete questionnaires were excluded for evaluation, 84 questionnaires in total were analyzed. In terms of BMI, 3 subjects (3.6%) were underweight, 56 (66.7%) were normal, 15 (17.9%) were overweight, and 10 (11.9%) were obese. Subjects checked their subjective self-ideal body shape from body shape images, the subjective actual body shape images were number 1-2 (13, 15.5%), number 3-4 (37,44.0%), number 5-6 (25,29.7%), or number 7-9 (9,10.8%) and ideal body shape images were number 2 (5,6.0%), number 3-4 (58,69.0%), or number 5-6 (21,25.0%). Underweight males (mean=158.67) were more satisfied with their body image than obese males (mean=135.60). The discrepancy of body shape between subjective self-ideal body shape images and BCS showed a significant difference (p=.013). When actual body shape is far off from ideal body image, subjects are more dissatisfied with their body image. Skin care interest according to BMI showed significant differences (p=.047), indicating the underweight subjects are more interested in skin care than obese males. In cosmetic use, 100% of underweight males used cleansing products whereas 53% of overweight and 40% of obese males used cleansing products (p=.023). We found significant results confirming association among subjective self-ideal discrepancy of body shape and body satisfaction in male university students. Underweight males were more interested in hair and skin care, and used more cosmetics than obese males.
화장품 소재로서 강황 추출물과 커큐민의 생리활성 특성 연구

The bioactive characteristics of curcumin, the main ingredient of Curcuma longa and Curcuma longa extract was studied to use as a cosmetic ingredient. The bioactive characteristics of cosmetic ingredients of this study include anti-microbial activity, anti-oxidation activity, anti-inflammation activity, whitening effect. The anti-oxidation activity has found that curcumin has the radical scavenging ability and polyphenol with high anti-oxidative activity. The anti-bacterial effect of curcumin and Curcuma longa extract has found to show the comparatively lower anti-bacterial effect in the 5 strains including S.aureus, E.coli, P.aeruginosa, C.albicans, and M. furfur. The anti-inflammatory effect of curcumin has found that the inhibition concentration, IC50 of NO production was as low as 6 μM. The anti-melanin effect of curcumin has found that about 60% of melanogenesis was inhibited at 20 μM of curcumin concentration by using B16F10 cell when compared to that of the control group. In conclusion, Curcuma longa extract cannot be use as a cosmetic material, curcumin can be used as the functional cosmetics material in the future as it has found to have the weak anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial effects and strong anti- inflammatory and anti-melanin effects.
피부관리실의 관계마케팅 요인이 고객만족과 관계몰입 및 관계성과에 미치는 영향

Today, skin care business is more interested in marketing methods how to maintain long-term relationships with customers such as relationship marketing in order to survive and generate revenue along with fierce competition in customer acquisition between companies. Therefore, this study evaluates the effect of variables incurred by grafting the relationship marketing to skin care business. In this study, 500 customers who are taking skin care in Seoul and Gyeonggi areas selected for the survey, and performed statistical analysis 408 inquiries among 500 through SPSS/WIN Version 12.0 and AMOS 7.0 program. While prices (=.219, t=3.668, p<.01) and physical facilities (=.442, t=5.644, p<.01), among the relationship marketing action factors, However, professionalism (=.122, t=1.587), communication (=.161, t=.395) and customer orientation (=.100, t=.585) did not have any meaningful effect on it statistically. Customer satisfaction very significantly affected customer commitment (=.833, t=10.918, p<.01), relationship orientation(=.334, t=3.655, p<.01) and customer loyalty (=.414, t=4.557, p<.01). Customer commitment affected relationship orientation (=.653, t=6.675, p<.01) and customer loyalty (=.575, t=6.111, p<.01) with statistical significance. Based on these results, the rate of customer satisfaction and the number of visitation will be up to increase skin care business profit, if the customer service improved by eliminating dissatisfaction factors through lower level close management and expand aggressive marketing activities to find out customers true desire.
