이 연구는 사회적 단절의 공백을 매울 수 있는 기제로서의 소셜미디어 의 활용 가능성을 소셜 스낵킹의 개념을 중심으로 접근하였다. 소셜스낵 으로서의 페이스북 이용이 네트워크 사회에서 사회적 교류를 대체하고, 더 나아가서 외로움을 해소할 수 있는 지의 여부를 문헌조사 방법을 통해 탐색하였다. 연구결과 사회적 교류 단절의 대체재로서의 소셜미디어 활용 가능성에 대한 논의는 매우 신중하고도 거시적인 접근이 필요하다고 사료 된다. 페이스북은 사회적 관계를 단절시키지도 않지만, 사회적 관계를 새 로 만들지도 않는다. 또한 페이스북 자체가 아닌 개인의 오프라인에서의 사회적 네트워크의 성격이 결국 페이스북의 질과 깊이를 결정짓는다.

The goal of this study is to investigate the psychological effect of facebook usage on happiness and social isolation. This study utilizes the concept ‘social snacking’ to examine the possibilities of facebook use to decrease loneliness. Similar to a snack temporarily reducing hunger until the next meal, social snacking is supposed to help tolerate the lack of real social interaction for a certain amount of time. The results of literature review show that there is no concrete evidence that facebook usage help people decreasing loneliness. The effect of facebook usage depends on what user bring to it. Simply say, we only get out what we put into SNSs. The present study also points to perils of SNS usage rather than merits.

본 연구는 중국 시청자들을 대상으로 한국과 중국의 공동제작 프로그램 인 한중가요제에 대한 평가가 공영방송인 KBS의 채널 브랜드 자산에 어 떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고 공영방송 브랜드의 정책적인 시사점을 탐 색하는 연구이다. 연구결과 KBS의 채널 이미지에는 콘텐츠요인과 제작요 인 모두 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 채널 친숙도와 채널 충성도에는 콘텐츠요인만이 의미 있는 영향관계에 있었다. 시청빈도는 채 널 충성도에만 제한적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 시 청의도에는 채널 친숙도와 채널 충성도가 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났 다. 본 연구 결과는 프로그램의 해외 수출과 공영방송의 채널 브랜드와 관련한 글로벌 정책의 의사결정에 있어서 일정한 시사점을 제공하고 있다.

This study tries to explore effects of TV program evaluations on channel brand equity. Using Chinese TV audiences, brand images, brand familiarity, and brand loyalty of the KBS channel are investigated. The findings of this study show that both content and production factors influenced brand images of KBS, and only the content factor affected brand familiarity and brand loyalty of KBS. Finally, brand familiarity and brand loyalty lead to positive watching intentions of KBS. This results could provide several implications of global program marketing and channel branding.

스마트폰으로 뉴스를 소비하는 행위가 늘어나면서 스마트폰 화면에 최적 화된 포맷의 카드뉴스의 이용도 증가했다. 카드뉴스는 기존의 뉴스 포맷보 다 정서적 느낌과 몰입도가 강하고, 추가적인 정보추구 욕구를 촉진하기 때문에 이용자의 정치정보 이용행위와도 관계가 있을 것으로 추측된다. 이 연구는 카드뉴스 이용, 주관적 정치지식, 정치정보 탐색의 상관관계를 분 석했다. 연구 결과, 카드뉴스 이용 빈도나 이용량과 정치지식 사이의 상관 관계는 없었지만, 정치 분야의 카드뉴스를 선호하는 경우 주관적 정치지식 수준이 높게 나타났다. 또한 카드뉴스 집중도가 높을수록 주관적 정치지식 과 정보탐색 행위 수준이 높게 나타났다. 카드뉴스 이용은 정치정보 탐색 행위, 특히 인터넷 뉴스 이용, 포털 사이트 검색, SNS 이용, 가족 및 친구 와의 대화 같은 일상적 수준에서의 정치정보 탐색과 상관관계를 보였다.

As the consumption of news on smartphones has increased, the use of cardnews, witch is optimized for smartphone screens has also increased. Since card news is more emotional and immersive than the existing news format, and promote the motivation to pursue additional information, it is presumed that cardnews is also related to the user’s political information use. In this research, we analyzed the correlation between cardnews use, subjective political knowledge, and political information seeking. As a result of the research, there was no correlation between use frequency and usage of cardnews and political knowledge, but subjective political knowledge level was high when user prefer cardnews in political field. Also, the higher the concentration on card news, the higher the subjective political knowledge and political information seeking level. Cardnews showed correlation with political information seeking on a daily level, such as watch Internet news, searching for information on portal sites, using SNS, and conversation with family and friends.
