Confronting diverse working pressure during office time, front-line sales staffs’ service quality will be threatened, which can affect customers’ satisfaction and loyalty degree, then influence market share and competitive edge of the company further. Thus, this paper focuses on the front-line sales staffs and aims at identifying the influence mechanism of transformational leadership on their service quality and the role of psychological capital among the triadic relationship. The result of hierarchy regression analysis about 250 sample data showed that both transformational leadership and psychological capital had significantly positive effect on front-line sales staffs’ service quality, while psychological capital acted as mediator between transformational leadership and front-line sales staffs’ service quality. Organizational management is advised to adopt transformational leadership and promote the employees’ level of psychological capital so as to improve the service quality of front-line sales staffs and the entire company.

A Study on Customer Feedback by VOC Big Data Analysis of for Travel Agencies

VOC(Voice of Customer) is a crucial information for any business in determining its management strategies. Thus, most businesses try to enhance their relationship with customers by collecting VOC via a variety of channels including telephone calls, mails, online and offline surveys. However, a great portion of such feedbacks are in the form of atypical data and hard to analyze by conventional methods. In particular, qualitative answers to open-ended questions in a survey are extremely difficult to analyze. The current paper attempts to propose an effective process of analyzing such qualitative VOC big data by utilizing the Buzz monitoring tool. A process of extracting risk factors from the results of such analysis is also presented by conducting a case study for a major travel agency in Korea. The findings are expected to help the agency deal with the complaints from customers and take corrective measures.

Because of its high heat transfer efficiency, compact structure and many kinds of heat transfer characteristics, the plate fin heat exchanger has been widely used in the field of natural gas liquefaction. The interior of the plate fin heat exchanger, mainly composed of many small rectangular channels, and the heat transfer of hydrocarbon mixed refrigerant in the interior. For the research on the rectangular of hydrocarbon mixed refrigerant flow boiling and heat transfer in the minichannels of plate fin heat exchanger, explore the related mechanism of hydrocarbon mixed refrigerant boiling flow and heat transfer in the interior, which will assist in liquefied natural gas field of plate fin heat exchanger thermal performance design; at the same time, it is also driven by the China natural gas liquefaction systems for large thermal equipment, improve the energy saving of heat equipment or system is the key.

Timed Model Checking Service-Oriented Product Lines

Modeling and verification of behavioral variability in service-oriented product line descriptions is very important. Time is a pivotal parameter in representing behaviors of services, which is difficult for scalable modeling and efficient automated checking. In this paper, we describe an approach for modeling and efficient verification of service-oriented product lines. Firstly, we propose feature timed automata, formalism designed to describe the combined behavior of a timed service family, which leverages on establishing relationships between features and transitions. Then, we present feature computation tree logic to model timed properties of service families, which extend computation tree logic to take into account the products constraints. Finally, using our methodology, we analyze a travel agency service family using the model checker UPPAAL. The experiment shows that our approach helps to verify timed service families effectively in the early phases of development.

Flood is a natural disaster that can destroy and damage a lot of properties, infrastructures, facilities, homes, vehicles and can even cause loss of lives. To minimize the hazard risk and loss due to the floods, intensive measures have to be considered. Monitoring any drastic changes in water level or river stage at river basin may not prevent the flood, but this measure benefits the community as early prediction of flood can be done before the water reaches the general population. This paper discusses the development of an informative and interactive river basin monitoring system for online hydrological stations in Kelantan, Malaysia. The first trial version has been assembled using Visual Basic.

Alarm System for Pedestrians Safety Against Hybrid/PHEV/EV Vehicle on Minor Road

This paper presents an alarm system for pedestrian safety against hybrid vehicle/PHEV/EV on minor roads. Recently, the interest and production of the hybrid/PHEV/EV vehicles have been rising in the automobile market, and a number of such vehicles are already driving on the road. One of their salient features is that they are very quiet and the exhaust sound is scarcely audible. So the pedestrians on minor roads are difficult to recognize those vehicles when the vehicles are coming behind them. This situation has emerged as a serious problem in the matter of ensuring the safety of pedestrians. Therefore the alarm system to notify the approaching vehicles to pedestrians on minor roads should be developed. The proposed alarm system in this paper informs pedestrians with a vibration or sound through the smartphone when the vehicles are closing in to the pedestrians from behind on minor roads. And this alarm network system consists of a few smart access agents, some smartphones and RFID tags that are equipped with the vehicles. The smart access agent recognizes the direction of driving vehicles on minor roads and informs it to the pedestrian’s smartphone, and the RFID tag equipped with vehicles sends an approaching signal to the smartphone. Thus, the proposed alarm system concept can support the pedestrians’ safety on minor roads against hybrid vehicle/PHEV/EV simply and effectively.

Aviation logistics on a global scale in a short time will be able to transport large amounts of goods to the hands of consumers, but worldwide aviation logistics of how information can be shared in real time, the mobile Internet has provided favorable conditions for this, but the mobile Internet cloud calculate the optimal method is not related to research, solve this problem, this study proposes a mobile Internet-based cloud logistics scheduling, which is the application of global scope of things, the method can be real-time dynamic scheduling analysis, and is capable of worldwide logistics real time prediction.

This paper studies the IoT relationship between Korea and the Philippines to make both nations sustainable with a fusion of literature, art, science, and technology. IoT (Internet-of-Things) is a part of long-term evolution which is improving human lives and content related to green energy harvesting, food, clothes, houses, earth climates and environments, and even the solar system including the galaxy. So this paper is the first pilot study for the creation of the IoT value-chain of industry, economy, and trade between Korean ICT and Philippine ICT businesses.
