한국어판 코펜하겐 사회심리적 업무환경 측정도구의 타당도와 신뢰도

Purpose: This study aims to test the validity and criteria-related reliability of the Korean version of the Copenhagen Psyco-social Questionnaire version II (COPSOQ-K) assessing the psychosocial working environment. Methods: The COPSOQ-K was developed through forward-backward translation techniques, and revision based on feedback from focus groups. Survey data were collected from 311 office workers who worked in one workplace. An internal consistency reliability was estimated by Cronbach's ⍺. The impacts of the COPSOQ-K scales on job satisfaction, self-rated health, stress, sleeping troubles, burnout, and sickness absence were analyzed with multiple regression model or multiple logistic regression model, adjusted age and gender using SAS version 9.3. The Pearson correlation coefficients between the COPSOQ-K scales and Korean job stress and its subdomain were identified. Results: Cronbach's ⍺ of COPSOQ-K scales was adequate or good (0.66~0.87). The major COPSOQ-K scales predict job satisfaction, self-rated health, stress, sleeping troubles burnout, and sickness absence. The major COPSOQ-K scales were correlated with Korean job stress and its subdomain. Conclusion: The COPSOQ-K scales have satisfactory reliability and criteria-related validity. The COPSOQ-K scales will be useful for the future studies and practices associated with psychosocial working environment.

간호사 직무 스트레스에 관한 국내외 연구 비교

Purpose: This study was done to describe the research trend of nurses' job stress in Korea and abroad. Methods: A narrative literature review of nurses’job stress related literature published from 1990 to Sept. 2011 was done. A total of 691 original articles were reviewed by two independent reviewers using analysis guidelines. Finally, 261 articles (Korean 177, international 84) were selected using exclusion criteria developed by the researchers. Results: In Korea, most of the researches were in correlational survey design, using questionnaires and the tool of Kim and Gu (1984) to measure job stress. International researches were more diversified than Korean’s in the research design, measurement tool, and data collection method. Especially, most of international researches focused on job related factor (number of patients, working time, etc.) and physical effects (tension, heart rate, etc.) of job stress. Conclusion: The results of the study may provide with information that can improve researches on nurses’ job stress in Korea.

Purpose: We investigated the relationship between patient safety culture and safety care activity, and identified factors for safety care activity of entry-level nurses. Methods: The subjects of the study were 204 entry-level nurses working at five general and advanced hospitals with over 500 beds located in C and D City. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation and hierarchical multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: Perception of patient safety culture had significant correlations with safety care activity. Multiple regression analysis showed that demographic variables of quality of nursing on patient safety and health state of entry-level nurses affected safety care activity. In addition, patient safety culture in ward and communication affected safety care activity. These factors explained 38% of variance. Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, patient safety culture promotion strategies to facilitate supportive work environment and effective communication are needed.

병원간호사의 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인

Purpose: The study aimed to identify influencing factors associated with the organizational commitment (OC) among hospital nurses. Methods: A descriptive correlational design was utilized. The subjects of this study were 447 female nurses working for over 6 months in Seoul. The study was based on the data from a self- reported survey using structured questionnaires. The data were collected from September 10 to 30, 2009 and analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: The mean score of the OC was 2.45, slightly higher than the intermediate level. The mean score of the three-dimensional domain among the OC, affective commitment (AC) was 2.50, continuance commitment (CC) was 2.59, and normative commitment (NC) was 2.29. The influencing factors of nurses' AC were perceived organizational support (POS) (β=.31, p<.001), supervisory trust, job burnout, nursing professionalism, and age, which accounted for 49.7%. The influencing factors of the CC were supervisory trust (β=.20, p<.001), POS, and job burnout whereas the influencing factors of the NC were POS (β=.40, p<.001), supervisory trust, nursing professionalism, and job burnout. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop supportive strategies that increase OC, which also improve the POS, nursing professionalism, and supervisory trust, and alleviate job burnout in hospital nurses.

D유형 성격여부에 따른 중년 직장인의 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인

Purpose: This study is to identify the factors that affect middle-aged workers' health promoting behaviors. Methods: 214 middle-aged workers participated in surveys, and the data were collected from August to September 2012 and analyzed by using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis with PASW 18.0 program. Results: It was found that among the factors, the degree of job stress (t=7.69, p<.001) and depression (t=6.23, p<.001) were significantly high for type D individuals, while non type D showed meaningful degree of self-related health status (t=-3.66, p<.001) and health promoting behaviors (t=- 4.71, p<.001). The notable variable that affected the health promoting behaviors of the middle-aged workers was depression for both type D (β=-.357, p= .029) and non type D (β=-.325, p<.001) individuals, and this variable accounted for 24.1% and 18.2% respectively. Conclusion: The study revealed that the middle-aged workers showed high degree of job stress and depression that influenced on their health promoting behaviors. Thus, they are recommended to receive health management programs that offer treatment through consulting considering their individual personalities.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the factors that affected self efficacy, social support and learning achievement in the web-based learning of graduate school students. Methods: The data were collected from 79 nurses in a web-based learning. A self-reported questionnaire was used to assess the level of self-efficacy, social support and learning achievement. Results: The learning achievement was significantly improved to 4.05 points after web-based learning compared to 2.69 points before web-based learning, and all other items were also improved. Self-efficacy was improved to 3.91 points from 3.66 points after web-based learning and so was social support to 4.18 points from 3.94 points. Fatigue and stress among health behavior characteristics were significantly decreased after web-based learning. Conclusion: This study shows that the web-based learning improved self-efficacy and social support of the students. And self-efficacy was an important factor in learning achievement. It is necessary to develop a strategy to improve self-efficacy as well as to manage social support for increasing interactions among the nurses in a web-based learning.

폐경 전ㆍ후기 중년 여교사의 건강증진행위에 영향을 미치는 요인

Purpose: This study examined the relationships among menopausal symptom, self-efficacy, health promoting behaviors, and investigated factors affecting health promoting behaviors of teachers with middle-aged women experiencing menopause. Methods: From September to October 2012, a convenience sample of 252 subjects aged 40 to 60 years was recruited from 8 elementary schools, 3 middle schools and 5 high schools. The data analysis was done by ANOVA and stepwise multiple regression. Results: Menopausal symptom of subjects was slightly lower than general middle aged women and the average level of health promoting behaviors was similar to general middle aged women. Health promoting behaviors were differentiated by severity of menopausal symptom, not by menstruation state. Menopausal symptom was negatively related to health promoting behaviors. The most significant factor affecting health promoting behaviors was self efficacy (14.3%). The combination of self efficacy, menopausal symptom, and elementary school teachers accounted for 20.1% of health promoting behavior. Conclusion: When developing health promotion program for teachers with middle-aged women, such program should consider self-efficacy, menopausal symptom, and school type.
