간호사의 조직공정성, 임파워먼트가 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향 : 직무만족과 조직몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural model on the Nursing Task Performance of Hospital Nurses. Methods: Data collection was done by the 200 hospital nurses from May 1st to May 20th, 2013 in Seoul city. The sample variance-covariance matrix was analyzed using AMOS 19.0 and the maximum likelihood minimization function. The goodness of fit was evaluated using the SRMR, RMSEA and its 90% confidence interval, CFI, and TLI. Results: First, hospital nurses' organizational justice and empowerment was not found to have a significant direct effect on nursing task performance. Second, organizational justice and empowerment had a direct effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Third, organizational commitment was found to have a significant direct effect on nursing task performance. Forth, hospital nurses' empowerment was found to have a significant direct effect on nursing task performance. Conclusion: Nurses' nursing task performance was influenced by organizational justice, empowerment, and organizational commitment. In order to increase the degree of nursing task performance in hospital nurse, it is necessary to develop the nursing program and its application considering hospital nurses' organizational justice and empowerment and organizational commitment.
간호사의 근로환경 개선을 위한 환자안전문화의 체계적 문헌 분석

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to review the articles and theses on the patient safety culture of clinical nurses for identifying overall research trends regarding patient safety culture among hospital nurses, and to suggest strategies for improving nursing work environment related to patient safety culture. Methods: The subjects for this study were 17 articles selected according to inclusion criteria from five databases in Korea. Results: Seven articles were collected from nursing journals and ten from master's theses. The studies on the 17 articles were conducted at 66 hospitals from seven regions of Korea. The tools for patient safety culture were selected among the three tools from AHRQ and two Korean translation tools. The mean score of patient safety culture was 3.43. Conclusion: The findings from the article review indicate that, in order to improve nursing work environment for patient safety culture, the hospital and nursing manager should emphasize the education for patient safety, communication and open-minded reporting, and cooperation among the departments of hospital.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to verify the factors that determines burnout of nurses in emergency department. Methods: The survey was given to 170 ED nurses which are located in Busan from July 1st to August 31st of 2012. The results were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression using SAS 9.2 program. Results: There were statistically significant differences in burnout depending on gender, position, workplace satisfaction, job satisfaction. Significant positive correlation between compassion fatigue and burnout was found. Also significant negative correlation was found between self-esteem, compassion satisfaction and burnout. Factors influencing burnout were self- esteem, compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue with R2 value 58.0%. Conclusion: Considering these results, it seems that great efforts will be needed for reducing burnout by mitigating the emergency nurses' compassion fatigue and introducing programs to increase the self-esteem and compassion satisfaction.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to discover the influence of the working conditions on women workers' occupational stress. Methods: Descriptive method is used to identify women’s stress depending on their general working features and conditions by conducting a survey of them in women-dominated service industries. SPSS 18.0 program is used for data analysis and descriptive statistics is presented with standard deviation, frequency and percentage. x2-test is used as an analysis tool. To figure out factors that influence their stress, logistic regression analysis is used for general features and working conditions as independent variables, and occupational stress as a dependent variable. Results: As a result, among the independent variables, employment status, weekly working hours, career, shiftwork, and work-family-balance are meaningful factors that influence their stress. Temporary workers’ stress is 3.65 times higher (p<.001), and workers working over 48 hours a week have 1.97 times higher stress (p<.003). Workers with over 5 years’ career are under 1.73 times higher stress (p<.046) and shift workers are under 3.51 times higher stress (p<.001). Work family balance results in 1.93 times higher stress (p<.009). Conclusion: It is necessary to seek how to prevent and manage women workers' stress considering features.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the link between health-related physical fitness level and cardiovascular disease-related risk factors in adult male workers. Methods: We tested cardiovascular disease- related risk factors (waist circumference, SBP, DPB, fasting glucose, TC, HDL-C, TG, LDL-C) and health-related physical fitness (VO2max, grip, Sit-up, Flexibility, Body fat) and divided health-related physical fitness level of the subjects into 3 groups - A (very good, n=56), B (good, n=59), and C (below-average, n=57) according to the criterion of the Health and Fitness counseling guidelines of KOSHA. The statistical techniques such as standard deviation, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression (p<.05) were used. Results: There were significant differences between group C and group B & A (p<.001) in waist circumference, DBP, Fasting glucose, HDL-C, TG, LDL-C. In TC/HDL-C, TG/HDL-C, LDL-C/HDL-C, Group C was higher than group B and A. Conclusion: On the basis of these results, we identified that improvement of health-related physical fitness level positively effects on the decrease of cardiovascular disease-related risk factors.

Purpose: This is a descriptive correlation study to identify self-esteem, job satisfaction, and turnover intention among ship-building supply workers. Methods: The subjects were 199 ship-building supply workers at two small & medium-sized ship-building supply companies in K city. The data were collected from March 1st through 31st, 2013. The collected data were analyzed using the SAS program through t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: There was a positive correlation between self- esteem and job satisfaction (r=.29, p<.001), a negative correlation between self-esteem and turnover intention (r=-.20, p<.001). Also there was a negative correlation between job satisfaction and turnover intention (r= -.58, p<.001). Conclusion: This finding identified that the self-esteem and job satisfaction were an important variable related to the turnover intention. Therefore, organizational managers need to develop strategies for improving workers' self-esteem and job satisfaction to prevent and decrease worker's turnover intention.

Purpose: This study was to identify the relations of interpersonal attitude and communication competence of new community health nurses. Methods: The research design was a correlational study. The data were collected from 136 visiting nurses using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using independent t-test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 20.0 program. Results: The type of interpersonal attitude in subjects was I+U+ and the score of communication competence was 3.6. Among 15 sub- dimensions, the highest score was responsiveness and the lowest was assertiveness. There were no significant differences in communication competence by general characteristics. Factors influencing on communication competence in new visiting nurses were interpersonal attitude I+(I am OK) (β=.34) and I-(I am not OK) (β= -.28). Conclusion: Education program, stressing the self-awareness, is necessary to increase positive interpersonal attitude and communication competence for reemployment of community health nurses. Furthermore, in order to reinforce assertiveness, institutional support should be accompanied with the efforts of individual level.
