The research is aimed at presenting the scheme of development and improvement in cruising. In advance, we've analyzed the conditions of location and the growth factor in an exclusive cruising terminal. We've found that the cruising enterprise has a strong effect on regional economy through this research. As for an instance in foreign country, cruising enterprise has made a high added value to the city. In conclusion, we should investigate the introduction of cruising enterprise especially with the selection of survey area.

Urban creativity has established a feature of the urban policy agenda since the 2000s. The aim of this article is to examine the impacts of urban creativity on urban economic development taking into account the Florida's 3T (technology, talent and tolerance). Multiple regression technique was employed to analyze the relationship between urban creativity and economic development indices using data taken from 83 cities including 7 metropolitan cities. The results show that the creative class and Bohemian indices play a positive role in manufacturing wage change and a positive and statistically significant relationship exists between the human capital index and the employment rate change. The high-tech, Bohemian, multi-cultural indices are, however, negatively associated with the employment rate change. The results also indicate that not only is improving city image but establishing a creative milieu and urban identity required to attract educated, talented and creative individuals as well as "Bohemians" in order to sustain a high level of economic development in urban areas.

This study shows that the present dysfunctional situation of the comprehensive spatial planning to society has been caused by the outdated commanding planning style originated in the urbanization and industrialization period. With the recent advanced concept of planning for action in this post-modern industrial society, it is identified that the comprehensive planning should be resettled to have policies planning style, which allows knowledge share and cooperation within society in the planning process. It is indispensable for Korea to have more socially integrating and collaborative planning style to enter into advanced countries.

Local metropolitan cities are similar to Seoul metro area in developing old and new town simultaneously. But Their urban development plans should be different because they have different demographic characteristics. So this study is aimed to review the validity of Local Metropolitan cities' plan about developing old and new town simultaneously. To achieve the objective, this study compared housing demand and housing supply in Daejeon City. In the result, this study find that housing supply by the year 2020 is larger than the demand and suggest several implications for urban development policy of Local metropolitan cities.

The impact of climate change by greenhouse gas has been increasing. Around the world many countries announced their goals for reducing global greenhouse gas. Korean government, which declared its reduction goal, need, however, practical means to achieve it. For this purpose, we researched the land-use transportation linkage planning by the MPO of the USA, which is evaluated as one of most effective policies. In this study, we investigated the effects of land-use transportation plans conducted by the Southern California as a case study in order to make Korean planners convinced of land-use transportation linked one.
